But who are they?

They are magical when insay they are Master and Servant it is literal the titles they have in the show are Master and Servant. Shirou is an incompetent magic user who wants desperately to be a superhero due to intense survivor's guilt from a fire he narrowly survived as a child. Artoria previously worked for his adoptive father under, to say the least, stressful circumstances, and then promptly returns to Shirou via badass magic summoning in his moment of need right as he is about to be killed. Also she's secretly been protecting him the entire time anyways because a magic relic of hers that basically grants immortality has been implanted I'm his body that's how he survives the fire. She is his Servant she protects him from getting murdered by terrifying magical murder beings in an underground wizard war BUT she gets to eat HIS cooking which is the best food you will ever taste they are even. They also literally basically originated their entire franchise which has spanned years and resulted in acclaimed mobile game Fate/Grand Order which Artoria is literally on the app icon for. She has like 20 variants in the game they all still recognize and by and large like the various Shirou variants that exist as well the bond cannot be broken even when they are literally both technically different people.

Here we go...

Who was your first OC?

I believe that my first OC was one for Mexico, from Hetalia. I had a friend draw her design, but I think that it's lost to time now. Thereafter I made an El Salvador one as well.

As for my current OC blog, Eriko and Ayumu were the first ones I made.

Do you still write your first OC?

Nope. She wasn't very good, believe it or not. (Not to knock on the art my friend drew of her, it was amazing.) And, of course, that was during a time when my writing was pretty terrible anyways, so there's that. The same is true of the El Salvador OC, but take a look at Fernando, one of my current OCs; he's mostly inherited that old El Salvador OC's personality, and is from San Salvador to boot, nice.

As for Eriko and Ayumu, I do, but not very much. I need more icons for them, primarily. I do want to write them more. Eriko has barely gotten any attention, for being the older of the two...

Who is your favorite OC?

As I mentioned yesterday, I don't play favorites. Hence, I can't really pick one.

I've told a few people this before, but my OCs, especially the first few, are reflections of myself, my personality and my interests, to a certain extent. Eriko and Ayumu, of course, embody my love of chess; but while Eriko is the introspective music lover who doesn't like interacting with people much, Ayumu is more like what I wish I was when I was younger; a bit smarter, but still innocent. ... Basically, I feel like I had a misspent youth, teenage years especially, so I suppose Ayumu is doing the things I wish I could have. And she's much better at chess, too. Damn. I can go on, if you want me to elaborate.

How would you describe your favorite OC?

Hmm...

Do you have developed dynamics with the OC of another mun that has influenced your OC or Canon muse?

I don't think so, but I can definitely name the writer who inspired me to make my first OCs (more specifically, Eriko and Ayumu, back in 2020, and then the couple of them that came afterwards late last year, anyways).

How do you create an OC? What are your steps for developing an OC?

I've definitely mentioned this before as well, but honestly, finding a good faceclaim with a lot of icons tends to come first. Once I've looked through those icons, I get the sense of a personality that I can ascribe to that character, and that forms the basis of their personality. Usually the name, nationality, and backstory flow first. That is to say, I write the bios in the order that they're presented. I should get around to reorganizing all of them... but for twenty OCs, plus the canon muses if I decide to go that far, eh. Lots of work. :P

FC or story first when you develop an OC?

As answered above, FC, lel. Indeed, I have a few folders of icons for FCs sitting in a folder labeled "unused". If I come up with a good idea for a character based on one of them—and that will probably depend on my mood when looking at them—then yippee, into the process. Shirou Emiya's and Misaki Shokuhou's folders sat in there for a while, and became the FCs for my two newest OCs, Peter and Katarina.
