Vivian chuckled softly, wrapping her arms around Emily's neck. Out in public, she'd never approve such a vulnerable gesture. The Ice Queen must appear strong and cold at all times, must strike fear and demand respect from everyone she passed by.

In here though, this private little space she and Emily shared, Vivian Lehnsherr could simply be a woman. A lover. A human being (well, mutant being but still.)

A delicate hum passed her lips as she leaned against the Time Lord, face half-submerged in Emily's long white hair.

Okay I love the names of Marvel Ships. Like T'challa/Bucky is Called WinterPanther but I've also seen it called T'chucky. That's the best thing ever and I don't even ship it.

Then you have Steve/Bucky. Which Can be called WinterShield or just SteveBucky. But the name most people go Stucky. And yeah, I'm not a big fan of the ship but I will admit it's a cute ship name.

Then there is WinterFalcon. Which everyone knows as SamBucky. And I don't care how straight forward it is, SamBucky sounds much more fun and cute than WinterFalcon. Fight me on it.

And I've already gone on a whole tangent about how BruceThor isn't as cool and cute as GammaHamma. I fucking love that.

"Emily,” Vivian croaked. A weak and weary smile formed on her face. She raised one arm, stained with blood that glistened black in the moonlight. A similar stain bloomed like spider legs across one side and throbbed with every breath. Vivian ignored both of these; Emily was all that mattered.

“You came for me,” she whispered, her cold and bruised fingers finally landing on the other woman’s face. Emily tried to smile back, but there was sadness, Vivian could see, in her gray eyes.

“It’s going to be okay,” Emily told her and then she picked the Ice Queen up, cradling her close. Vivian groaned, but otherwise folded into her without complaint. 

“I know,” she said and then her eyes closed. No matter where or when in the Universe Emily was, she always came to Vivian’s rescue. She’d always keep her safe.
