Quietly crying my eyes out at Suits last episode, Louis and Sheila's wedding, Harvey and Donna getting married as well and them dancing I was SQUEELING, I was a bit sad at them leaving the firm to go to Seattle but the interview with Mike and all the flashbacks I'm just so happy for them

So I just finished watching Suits finale and I am not satisfied with it. Sure, this is exatcly what we could have been expecting from every point but that’s the problem, I guess? I know Suits is a show where you can predict anything from a scratch but seriously, this much?
I didn’t even like my babies’ wedding because of the whole “Sheila might die” stuff (even though I knew they wouldn’t let her die and give Louis a sad ending because if they dared do that, I would be in the first flight to the US to scream at Korsh’s door). I hated that they got married without their family. I hated that Harvey got married without his brother because his brother is his only family left. (I really do love Marcus and yes, I prefer Marcus to Mike for SO many reasons).
I hated that they got married like Louis doesn’t need them right night when he needed them the most because he was afraid he could lost the love of his life AND his child. He needed his bestfriends but they were both having fun like “Nah, doesn’t matter”. Plus, who gets married at someone else’s wedding with THEIR friends and family? Like Sheila’s family was there but they had to watch two strangers get married?
Also. Katrina deserved a fucking apologie. From Harvey. She didn’t get one and I don’t give a shit about what Alex said. She was right when she said she never heard of any of them until “the good new” and they asked for her help anyway? She was alone. The firm was everything to her. She doesn’t have a lot of friends (if any, really since Brian seemed to be her only real friend). Louis didn’t call her. Harvey didn’t talk to her. Donna didn’t try to talk to her. You know what? I was hoping Katrina would get her name on the wall, but the truth is? She deserved to go somewhere where she’s respected and loved for what she is. And this ain’t it. She deserved so much more. I was ready to forgive the lack of apologie when they’re all in the office after they get rid of Faye (getting on that later) if she was in there. But she wasn’t. This is garbage. My baby deserved to be managing partner at her own firm (and yes Samantha can go work with her, I don’t really care at this point).
And she needed to meet Marcus (don’t ask, I just wish they could have met and fall in love at first sight but that’s because I want them both to be happy).
Faye. She was supposed to be the big bad wolf of the season but I have mixed feelings about her. From where I stand, I understood her for the first 5 episodes. I didn’t always liked how she acted how the way she treated Louis or Donna, but I could understand her point and actually thought she was right in some way. So her sudden turn to be the Evil was some stupid move imo. But the worst is that Harvey got rid of her in what? Ten seconds by just saying he’s going to leave the firm and work at Seattle? This makes no sense. Not. At. All.
(Maybe I was counting on Harvey losing his licence a bit too much idk but I was seriously thinking that the finale could be at least as good as 816 but that’s not it).
And don’t get me started about Harvey and Donna going to Seattle to work with Mike. I hate this. I trully do. First of because this won’t work. Like yeah, they were great at the beginning but then, Mike started to think he was Better than Harvey and that lead to him being a jerk in 905 (lashing out of Harvey like that and not even apologies on the phone later on? even off screen? Not going talk to Harvey when he lost his mom but waiting for Donna to tell him to go see him? SERIOUSLY? what kind of friend is he? a shitty one if you ask me but that’s not the point). And everytime since, Mike kept yelling at Harvey, or blaming him. Because that’s what he does. Every. Single. Time. He always blame Harvey when the truth is he asked to stay at the firm when Harvey tried to fire him in the pilot. He blackmailed Harvey into staying. So no dude, this isn’t entirely Harvey’s fault okay? You were in on this when Harvey wasn’t because he didn’t want to lie to Jessica. So cut the bullshit and stop acting like you’re the perfect Prince because this ain’t it.
I don’t really know what I was expecting from the finale. I knew there were good chances that all of this was going to happen, doesn’t mean I was prepared or I liked it. I wanted Marcus to appear, I wanted Harvey to talk to his brother for real. I wanted Sheila going into labor without any superficial drama that came out of nowhere (like the doctors didn’t even looked at her but they can tell she and the baby are in danger? Come on, writers, you can do much better).
And I won’t talk about the fact that Darvey got married without Jessica, too. And that we didn’t see her even for a bit.

"They heard me" Louis getting the respect he so deserves makes me happy. I loved how he took a stand for himself in front of everyone in this episode. Everyone got Litt Up!

Mike glanced around the table, but found no clues forthcoming, so he asked, “Jackpot?”
“Haven’t you guessed yet? That would be you.”

SUITS 100: *SPOILER ALERT*
THE GOOD THINGS:
1. SHIELA SAZS AND LOUIS LITT RETURN Tbh I always thought they were perfect for each other. I was sad to see her go because I understood they wanted different big things in their life, but didn’t really see Tara as able to keep up with Louis (she didn’t). Most of all, it was great seeing Louis maintain his cool and try to be happy for her at the moment, even though he wasn’t okay, which leads to...
2. DONNA AND LOUIS’S ROOF SCENE Sarah Rafferty mentioned earlier that it was very beautifully shot and wonderfully done, and indeed it was. I have loved loved loved the louis x donna friendship ever since it started, and I typically love seeing people as a team care for each other. this was very evident, great job PJA. it was so pretty <3
3. RACHEL ZANE Rachel took nobody’s shit this episode and I was AALLLLL here for it. First telling Mike that he needs to let her in on things because she’s not a damsel in distress and second for taking the time to think of an alternative plan to make sure Gallo doesn’t testify. Stop looking down on Rachel!! She’s smart and intelligent and charming and I’m tired of her hiding behind Mike’s shadow, telling him to be a good person. Also, she was the one who coached Louis, offered Donna a night out, and then kept her from doing that terrible thing.
4. Gretchen YAY, GRETCHEN!!
THE BAD THINGS:
1. HARVEY AND DONNA (of course) Y’ALL THIS IS THE 100TH EPISODE, YOU’RE REALLY TELLING ME YOU COULD NOT PUT A SCENE WITH THESE TWO? it’s the seventh, it’s the 100th episode, and frankly i’m just flabbergasted. not a single scene. I could go on and on about this, what the fuck.
2. MIKE AND HARVEY I was really hoping to see them back to being batman and robin? but besides the scene where they go over to each other’s apartments to barely talk, the conflict was resolved, largely due to Robert Zane. It was such a dramatic case but I thought it fell a little flat. I was also kind of confused how everything was going down so if someone would like to explain the legalities of everything that happened, please do.
3. All this cheating??? I’m not point any fingers here but it seems like after Paula’s here, everyone’s just doing the immoral now. Louis and Sheila? Done deal. What an awkward (but admittedly entertaining phone call) Donna and Mark? The fact that the writers made Donna dwell on it for so long upsets me too, because she is obviously not that kind of woman. I really wished they’d stop writing her as someone who goes irrationally forlorn and lovesick as a consequence of Harvey’s actions... Fam, she’s stronger than that *eyeroll* But still, bless her for not going in. I really thought Louis was going to stop her, or they were going to stop each other.
4. ALSO I’M SICK OF HARVEY AND PAULA BEING PAINTED AS THE PERFECT RELATIONSHIP WHEN DONNA IS STILL STRUGGLING. MY GIRL DOES NOT DESERVE THAT, THAT IS JUST A SLAP TO THE FACE
5. I MISS JESSICA
but anywho.. catch ya next week

#Suits - Season 9, Episode 3 “Windmills”, Review/Recap/Spoilers
#Suits - Season 9, Episode 3 “Windmills”, Review/Recap/Spoilers
Rating:  10/10
(Air date 7/31/2019)
Note: I apologize for not having a recap for episode 2 (it’s been a rough week with my hubby in the hospital and me with foot problems.  Hopefully we’re on the mend).
So…last episode Faye Richardson (Denise Crosby), the Special Master, demoted Louis (Rick Hoffman) and became the acting Managing Partner of Specter Litt Wheeler Williams!
Gretchen (Aloma Wright) walks in on Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) making eyes at each other and tells them that Louis had been demoted; Harvey angrily stomps into Faye’s office and tells her he won’t be taking orders from her.
Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) and Alex Williams (Dule Hill) decide to join forces and see if they can find a legit way to get rid of Faye.  Seriously, everyone wants Faye gone!
Unbeknownst to Louis, Sheila Saz (Rachael Harris) pulls some strings and gets Louis’ friend Saul to offer a judgeship to Louis!  Louis comes home and tells Sheila about it and tells her that he turned it down.  Sheila confesses that it was her idea and asks Louis to at least think about it.  Louis says he will.  And boy did he ever!  The funniest scene I’ve seen on Suits comes when Louis dreams of himself as a judge. In the dream Faye is “on trial”.  Louis plays the judge (in a white wig) and he also is the opposing counsel (since Faye is representing herself).  Donna, Alex and Samantha are in the gallery.  Donna keeps saying, “Oh he’s better than Harvey.”  Gretchen is the bailiff, and the best part is a jury of 12 Harveys! It was hilarious to see Harvey cuddling a cat and making a heart with his hands at Louis.  And Judge Louis announces the verdict when Foreman Harvey declares Faye “guilty”, that Faye is sentenced to “death”!  Faye yells, “Death?  I don’t even know what I’m on trial for!”
Back to “reality”, Louis goes to see Dr. Lipschitz (Ray Proscia) and tells him the dream he had.  The good doctor tells him it was all just fantasy.  Louis admits, “This whole time I was worried about what they would do without me.  I didn’t even think about what I would do without them.”
Faye goes to see Donna and tells her she needs some secretarial work and she heard that Donna was the best secretary the firm ever had.  Donna tries to suggest she’ll find someone suitable to help Faye and Faye threatens to demote Donna if she doesn’t do what Faye asked.  Donna swallows her pride and takes on the clerical duties.  Harvey finds her and wants to go to Faye to give him a piece of his mind but Donna asks him not to.  She doesn’t want Harvey fighting her battles with Faye.  They make plans to have dinner and it’ll be dinner with no talk of the firm.  Later Gretchen finds Donna getting ready for her dinner date with Harvey and tells Donna she’ll finish what Faye gave Donna to do and Donna should go have fun.  Faye is not pleased that Donna didn’t finish the secretarial duties she was given; however, she’s impressed with Gretchen and decides to keep Gretchen, which sends Louis into a fit.
Meanwhile Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull) works on a case when Susan (from the bull pen; played by Alison Louder) who wants to be an associate (Katrina’s associate now that Brian is out of the picture) comes to help.  Susan suggests that she contact a family friend who is on the oppoising side.  Katrina adamantly tells Susan not to do it.  Susan does it anyway and when Katrina reprimands her, Susan tries to use the knowledge she thinks she has of Katrina and Brian to her advantage by blackmailing Katrina.  Telling her to make her Katrina’s associate by the end of the week or she’ll go to Faye about Brian and Katrina.  Badass Katrina instead turns the tables on Susan. Katrina goes to Susan and tells her that they’ll need an office for Susan if she is going to be her associate but they’ll need approval first.  So they go to see Faye.  In Faye’s office Katrina has Susan admit to her own wrong doings while they worked on the case.  Faye doesn’t fire either of them; she asks if there was anything else.  Katrina looks at Susan and asks if there was anything else.  Susan shakes her head.  At that moment she understood that Katrina cannot be intimidated or blackmailed!
Harvey tries to take Faye down however he can, including suing her old firm.  Unfortunately, it backfires on Harvey.  Harvey’s client, Dan Foley, gets fired anyway!  Harvey works his magic and gets another client to buy the firm and hire Dan.  He tells Faye and adds that Gretchen goes back to Louis.  But of course Faye has the last word letting Harvey know that she is not pleased and he could be fired next.
Highlights:
Darvey on a date!  Of course they talk about the office but when they agree not to talk about the office, there is an awkward (very awkward) silence.  But then they tell stories from their past and all is well with the lovebirds.
Louis’ dream!  The funniest scene I’ve seen on Suits!
Gabriel Macht, in my opinion deserves awards for his acting and directing!  Yes, he directed this episode.  He does amazing work!
Disappointments:
This is the final season and there are only 7 more episodes.
Thoughts?
What are your thoughts about this episode?
Next Week:
Suits 9x04, "Cairo":  Faye decides to take action against Harvey and Donna's relationship; Harvey looks to impress Donna's father.
Thanks for reading Suitors!!
