Watched Suits' Season 7 two-hour finale last night to put closure to the story of Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams), a college drop-out who got hired as a lawyer and right-hand man of  hotshot New York  lawyer Harvey Specter's (Gabriel Macht), and to see the TV wedding of Mike and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) as they leave this show for good. It actually lost me as a viewer midway to its Season 2 but Markle's  royal marriage to Prince Harry next month got me curious again. Anyway, the actual wedding takes place in the last 8 or so minutes of the finale, with Rachel walking down the aisle to the strains of John Legend's song "All of Me." I blinked —  actually, I channel surfed — so I almost missed it. What made the 2011 pilot season worked was the dynamic duo of Mike and Harvey engaging in bromance and legal bantering so I was expecting more of the same in this finale. Unfortunately, this unwieldy finale was busy with other matters, there was no time for them. In fact, more than 95% of the finale was devoted to saving the law firm Specter Litt from being taken over and merged with Rand Calder Zane; providing a reason for Mike and Rachel to accept an offer to manage a law firm specializing in class-action lawsuits in Seattle; and serving as a pilot for disbarred senior partner Jessica Pearson’s (Gina Torres) untitled spinoff based in Chicago. After the cheesy MTV-style wedding ceremony with All of Me soundtrack, Mike plainly told Harvey that it was time for him to go. Harvey calmly accepted Mike's decision, with a few seconds of face close up showing him contemplating the next season without Mike (but with Katherine Heigl as the new partner in his law firm). The finale unsatisfactorily ended as Mike and Rachel, Harvey and Donna (Sarah Rafferty), and Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and ex-fiancee Sheila Sazs (Rachael Harris) danced as a way to say goodbye, not only to Mike and Rachel, but also to the actors who have portrayed them for 7 seasons. 😎👌😘 #Suits #Suits7 #TVSeries #Travel #AuthenticTravel #TravelMindset #Backpacking #JourneyOfLife #JourneyOfFaith #TravelInspiration #Wanderlust #Adventure F4F #L4L #instamood #photooftheday #atm
