Lmk ShadesOfGrey AU-

The tranquility of the water seemed to hypnotize. A steady stream of a small waterfall crashing into the deep blue body leaving a white bold ripple that slowly dissipated into nothing. A gentle sway back and forth toying with the previously still water's surface. Looking up all one could see was a dark sky, the night waking up to greet it's day before they part yet again. The sunset in golden hues an almost pink or purple color trying to chase after as the moon watched his light run away from him leaving his glow fresh on his skin.

A dark furred monkey looked to the side back at the water, tail still swaying in an almost rhythmic beat, enjoying the water's temperature. The water already showed some of the stars as they quietly appeared in the sky, each glow a humble shine, a distant sun with their own world. The moon shown the brightest in the sky, but was the most dim of them all. Loud, but never spoke the right words, the sun always ahead. "Would the world really be bad off without it?"

The monkey shook his head a loud sigh escaping his downward lips. A gentle breeze going along the healthy grass rushing over his stiff body. The cold air made his muscles ache and his eye began to throb. An axe to the face is what it felt like, a simulation to a pain he'd much rather forget. A migraine began to overtake any thoughts he may of had, all except one. He couldn't get the memory of a laughter like honey along with giggles roling around in a flower field. A monkey with grey fur gawking at his ginger friend for saying he was a king, teases and jokes in disbelief, and moments of fun as the two talked as though forever was to be never without the other. A smiling face that held some kind of deep warmth for the lonely trickster, gifting promises coated in affection. A hero.

The rouge only longed to be that grey monkey again, a moment just a moment of that would be enough. He was a rogue warrior, what does someone of that title, a "warrior", do with no king? Nothing to protect, nothing to life for anymore. Could he call himself a warrior? Yes, he thought so, even if he was horrible, even if he held no goodness in his heart... A young boy popped up into his head. He let a small, quiet chuckle out beneath his breath. His phone began to buzz just as he pressed his arm down to sit up. Leaning on his arm and wrist he debated for a moment, his hair messy, full of stray colored leaves that had been floating off of a drowzie tree not too far from him. After being motionless dazed at the water that small leafs had started falling off into for what felt like forever he decided to look at his phone. Unfortunately one of the few people he'd actually answer the phone for was shown. Swiping to the green just before it finished buzzing he continued to sit up crossing his legs leaning just barly over the water to see himself. He looked exhausted. "MAC where are you!? I- um." Mei jumped into the conversation just as timorous "We might have broke that weird lamp thingy and a shadow that looks kinda like you but a Monkey came rushing out if it!" "It's destroying the stage and it's trying to eat the costumes." MK finished. An exasperated expression was all Macaque could muster, he doesn't know if he should be upset or impressed they actually managed to brake the lamp as it wasn't supposed to be possible to dystroy it. He should really make sure he knows everything about things before he buys stuff.

"Just try to not yell too loud." Just a small bite of information before he hung up not waiting for a reply. Rubbing his eyes he pulled his face down staring at himself. His hands where on his cheeks dragging skin down, his eyes really do look like he hasn't slept in days, mabey all this thinking about feelings like, regrets and stuff is bad for him. Letting out a roar like groan he heavily sighed, tail splashing the water in agitation. "This'll be fine, I should have more lamps in the closet." Finally getting up he portled himself to the alleyway nearby putting on his human form in the process. Just as he went to enter he heard more crashing and mk shout something about putting out a fire.

This was going to be a long day.

So this little story is taking place at some point before the show like just before. Probably a weak before or something along those lines.

This might have a part two if people like it or I get the mood to actually attempt writing interactions. That might probably be ooc (↼_↼;)ゞ. I'm just here for fun and yeah (gotta remind myself so I get the confidence to post possible ooc stuff).

So this is apart of my ShadesOfGrey AU. MK and the crew don't know Mac's not a human just yet. He's just a storyteller that is teaching MK the ways of theatre and mentoring him on storytelling/writing. I like to think that MK hides he draws and is artsy in that sense from Mac for some reason. Like he doesn't even know why he just simply does, kinda like the photo, he has no idea why he keeps forgetting to give it to Mac and just can't bring himself to rather it's cause he got distracted or he, as said, forgot.

Anyway I think I'ma go with the two met when young but, when Mac was a young adult, so they didn't have a childhood together but they did become close friends that would definitely act in a way everyone thought they were together. That stuffs just funny. I haven't got everything down yet but I have decided Mac does end up living on the mountain at some point, helping take care of the little monkeys with SWK, even helping with his Garden.

Still working on this AU, will definitely be slow but I'm getting there. Oh and I decided that this is indeed apart of this AU, why? Because yes. Also that it's after LBD.

I don't really know how to tag stuff.

This is the initial post with the idea for the AU.

I'm meant to be on "holiday"

The annual happy family holiday...

Instead I'm sitting in my caravan, crying, overwhelmed, wishing I could just take all my meds and never wake up.

No one ever tells you that when you become a mum, you sacrifice every little part of you. It consumes you. It ruins you until you are no more.

I never imagined it to be so fucking hard. To stay sane, to catch a moment for yourself,to be happy, to have a supportive partnership that's more team than work, to not traumatise the little humans you try so hard to protect, to breathe.

But what happens when there's nothing left to give? What happens when you become the monster? My world isn't black and white, it's a billion shades of grey and everything in between.

When the sun is this bright, it works provided you pick your subjects with care.
