been wanting to do this template for months and decided to throw all three of The Faves at it ✨

#undertale #toriel #sans #chara #safeutdr #undertale art #holoskart #these were supposed to be finished for the anniversary. as you can see that Did Not Work Out. #trying to imitate a specific style took a lot more time and effort than I accounted for ahah #besides the game sprites I relied on the LINE sticker sets as guides for the shapes and very minimal shading #and since chara has so few appearances to work with I also used the sepia flashback cutscenes and one of frisk's stickers #I had a lot of fun with this challenge!!

ALSO! i had to find out MYSELF that chuuya's ability was actually colored black. It didn't emit any glowing light or anything. he could just use it to hide in shadows! Like hi???? that's so cool???

#tbh the anime did a huge disservice to chuuya's design #chuuya having a rather muted palette in the manga. brown eyes. light red hair most of the time bordering on brown in the colored art #his clothes are mostly dark shades of sepia tones. his vest is a dull red in the manga. like #his color palette is so low key. it's so ordinary.. #harukawa tends to use muted color schemes in some of her art but it's all very precise #idk there's just something so particular about harukawa's chuuya specifically that all the other official artists/anime dont quite capture #wahhhhhh i could obsess over his designs forever and ever #can't believe asagiri and harukawa created the Most Guy Ever

A neat little thing I noticed with some of the latter Belmont descendants, namely those from derivative places, is that they (obviously) take after Simon, and more so when he's a brunet.

window shopping for inks and I’m realizing I’m so consistent with what colors I enjoy because between the nail polish I bought earlier and these inks in the cart, it’s all deep green, teal, purple and blue

Shades Of Sepia

What is it about?

Shades Of Sepia is a sort of Slice Of Life comic that's based around my experiences.

Is it only venting?

No. Though it is starting out as a sort of way to vent out my problems, that will not be the only reason for its existence.

When will it update?

As it's not a priority, I'll only post when I have the content which means it could take days, weeks, or even months before the next update.

What if it's triggering?

I will put trigger warnings in the tag so the more triggering episodes can be filtered out

Also, now that Tumblr has that new "mark as mature" feature, I'm going to mark the more triggering ones as mature.
