I can gush about how much I love Hawks' physical design as much as I want, but it'd be a crime to not talk about the amount of care that went into his character. Or rather, his immense faith in himself and those around him.
We've seen there are so many times where Keigo's faith in something or someone gets questioned, but we've also seen him manage to keep his head and remain optimistic about things. Even as a child, he had faith in the things heroes could do, as well how they could change things so drastically and for the better. Endeavor arresting his criminal of a father helped him truly believe in heroes.
It's especially amazing seeing his faith actually begin to waver and fall apart during his time with the HC and Bubaigawara Jin. He's seen conflicted over his actions of following the Commission's orders, especially when said orders are clashing with his personal beliefs (not for the first time) and threaten the wellbeing of the one genuinely good person he found in the LoV.
After taking the life of the one villain he had faith in, one would expect Keigo to have lost it and question if being a hero is worth killing someone who deserved more in life. Heck, he's clearly regretting what he did when Tokoyami rescues him from Dabi.
But amazingly, he perseveres. He manages to place his faith somewhere again, this time believing that the hero society will be able to fight again and emerge victorious. Believing that he should still try and change things for the better. Because that's what heroes do. They strive to fix things and bring about the positivity that can easily be lost in the midst of things.
The fact that he's able to stay this optimistic, let alone give a smile like that, after everything that's been happening really makes it hit hard how mentally strong he is for such a young pro hero.

with the new my hero academia movie coming and s5, do you think my hero is ending soon? I'm not caught up in the manga but it sounds like its in the final arc (cries)
I’m not sure if it’s the final arc. I think it’s probably the one before the last. I guess it’ll be over in a year or two.
