Wymiana przedniej szyby

Trzeba było wymienić przednią szybę w BMW. Oryginalna szyba (Pilkington) oberwała jakimś małym, ale dostatecznie ostrym kamyczkiem, który w momencie spowodował jej pęknięcie. Od razu poszła kreska, także nie było co kleić. Szyba do wymiany. Z jednej strony to dobrze, bo miała całkiem sporo drobnych odprysków, które dawały się we znaki jadąc pod słońce. Z drugiej - kolejne wydatki i to nawet mimo dodatkowego ubezpieczenia. A dlaczego? A dlatego, że zdecydowałem się na mały upgrade szyby. Zamiast takiej samej - atermicznej zielonej - postanowiłem dopłacić do szyby solarnej z paskiem przeciwsłonecznym. Wybór padł na szybę Saint-Gobain Sekurit. Mam nadzieję, że ta dopłata przełoży się na komfort podróży w mega słoneczne dni i wnętrze auta nie będzie się tak bardzo nagrzewać jak dotychczas.

The chickens and guinea fowls peddler carried all of her goods on her head.  On her right side, she carried the guinea fowls on her head.  On the left side, she carried the chickens.  Under her left arms, she carried 4 more guinea fowls which she has a long history of selling quickly.  The merchant placed the chickens and guinea fowls in a large basket made of banana straws and ties.  Everybody knew Ms. Semafi as a reliable peddler of chickens and guinea fowls.  The chickens and guinea fowls itinerant merchant did not want to walk by the public market because there were other livestock sellers there.  Ms. Semafi was very proud of her commerce.  She entered this business by selling mangoes first.  She started saving her money.  After saving enough money, Ms. Semafi decided to start selling chickens and guinea fowls, which brought her more income.  The clients who did not know her name called her the chickens and guinea fowls peddler.  Anybody who heard it knew they were talking about Ms. Semafi.  From Kenskoff, Boutilier to downtown Petionville, Ms. Semafi had all kinds of clients, rich as well as poor clients.  In those days, there were no problems of insecurity in Haiti.  Ms. Semafi’s chickens and guinea fowls business was going so well that on some occasions, she could rent a taptap to transport her goods to her customers and sale destination or downtown.

La palabra tuning ya no tiene el mismo significado de antes. Hace algunos años era sinónimo de modificar un auto al punto de que ya no se pareciera al diseño original, e incluso ya no tenia las mismas funciones, sin embargo, seria un error decir que las personas ya no modifican sus autos. La nueva moda es mucho mas sutil y enfocada en la funcionalidad, por ejemplo, añadir pantallas, GPS o equipos de sonido, retapizar los asientos con un mejor material o utilizar cristales con tecnología mas avanzada. Un ejemplo de esto ultimo son los vidrios automotrices de sekurit, los cuales brindan confort térmico y acústico e incluso algunos son compatibles con la computadora del vehículo para funcionar como pantalla que muestran la información que normalmente va en el tablero. El  repintado automotriz se ha vuelto mucho mas refinado.Las personas ya no compran autos para modificarlos o arreglarlos, sino  para cuidarlos o arreglarlos. Cuando se cambia la pintura de un coche, suele ser por colores más sobrios que a principios de los 2000 y, en caso de ponerle algún patrón unas lineas son suficiente para dar un estilo nuevo a un auto. El tuning es una actividad actividad que pisó muy fuerte y, así como todas la modas, no desapareció sino sino que se fue modificando, sin embargo, recordemos que aunque las modas viven poco, también son cíclicas, de una u otra forma, todo se repite.
