Something something time travel fixit where Obi-Wan relives his life and makes better decisions but— he fails each time, differently.

Something something, something— consider the Madoka Magica plotline of reliving the same segment of life over, and over, and over again. Endless loop of hope and desperation. Of iron determination that this time, this time it'll be different. Of morals ever so slightly changing each time, how each round feels both less and more real.

Imagine Obi-Wan spends years reliving the clone wars, in his own circle of hell, trying to do things differently, trying to save Anakin.

Would he eventually buckle under the weight of it all? Will he confess to Anakin what is happening? Would he turn to the dark side and simply kill Darth Sidious with no real proof other than memories of a life no one rememebers?

Will he do something else, equally drastic? Who's to say, I only wish you to imagine Obi-Wan reliving the war, again, and again, and again. :)

+Bonus if you want it less angsty, or more angsty (from a certain point of view) imagine Obi-Wan having to relive the entire timeline since the moment of them landing on Tatooine. Each time. He lost count how many years he had lived, by this point. It's all a blur. It's all a mess of love-fear-loss-pain. Each. Time.

So not just one-time-fixit time travel— but an entire endless loop of it, one that will inevitably change Obi-Wan, a lot.

came up with yet another au, so meet scrap metal sonic!! or just scrap :]

this au builds off the theory that metal sonic is roboticised sonic from the bad future in sonic cd!

after the events of sonic heroes, eggman decides metal has too much of sonic in him (literally) and builds a fully robotic version, leaving the old version in storage. he's eventually found by sonic and tails years later who de-roboticise him, although he's no longer happy with being organic and builds himself elaborate prosthetics to try be more robotic again. he also starts going by the name scrap as that's all he sees himself as -- he was abandoned by eggman and doesn't feel he deserves to have the name sonic anymore.

in terms of design he has no hands, feet or tail, shortened quills, ears and nose, and multiple scars from where the metal chassis pressed into his skin. his eyes are also still black as he hasn't been exposed to the chaos emeralds as much as sonic has. his prosthetics on the left are built by tails.

i might try give him a bunch of different designs as his prosthetics are replaceable. he should have fun with how he presents himself!!

Since Red uses an old prototype Daycare Attendant model as their body, they actually have both Nighttime and Daytime functions, they just prefer the Nighttime mode. But their sun rays will come out if they’re startled or if they’re trying to look more intimidating, like how a cat puffs out its fur.

Lunar and Lilac find this out when they both rush up behind Red to tell them about something and startles them so much the rays shoot out.
