Lil update

Hello everyone! Thank you so much, as always for reblogging, commenting, kudosing, and of course, producing all of the lovely Scott fic to be found here.

This weekend is Sceo weekend! I look forward to having several fics to rec from that event!

It's also whumptober, so if you have a Scott-centric whump fic you think I may not have seen, please point me to it! (Same with flufftober or kinktober stories.)

And lastly, I am hosting a Truedemon (Scott/Deucalion) Fic Frenzy to see if we can get 100 fics for a favorite ship by the end of the year.

And finally, I know I had made some noises about doing a Scott-centric mini-bang type challenge. Given some current personal issues, I am postponing the idea until next year- but depending on how things go, I think there was enough interest to have something or other!

(sort of a) Street Racing AU for Sceo Weekend 2023! @sceosource

Scott is out riding on his motorbike on the 115 when he pulls up beside a black Nissan GTR. They race after the light turns green, Scott eventually losing sight as the car runs faster than his bike.

Then he meets it again another day. The only way he'd know is by its license plate when the car drives away, leaving him in the dust. V0RTEX.

It's the same highway and about the same time almost every time Scott is out for a drive. Every single time, V0RTEX stays about the same speed as him before putting his foot down and driving off.

The windows are tinted, Scott had tried to look inside once.

In his day job, the veterinary clinic, there's a new receptionist. Theo Raeken. He keeps to himself but when he does talk about anything other than work, he's pretty deliberate and snarky.

Scott doesn't make any connection between the two until Theo meets him outside on the parking lot after work one day.

"That's your ride?" he asked just as Scott got on his motorbike.

"Yeah," Scott said.

"You drive down the 115 sometimes?"

Scott then, makes the connection. "You're V0RTEX, aren't you?"

Theo doesn't say anything outright and begins walking off. Scott turns around to look at where Theo is going and he spots it. The black Nissan GTR tucked between a few other cars. Scott waits to drive out the lot with Theo. Driving side by side in the freeway until Scott takes a turn into the suburbs.

Saturday, October 14th: True Alpha and First Chimera

Today is the day for identity, whether that's an exploration of them as the sunshine one and the grumpy one, the ultimate enemies to lovers ship, sun and moon imagery, or whatever floats your boat! What do their identities mean to each of them? To each other? What would it mean if they switched?

Sunday, October 15th: Hearts

Heart imagery, heart eyes, heart-breaking--this theme is about Scott's big heart, Theo's stolen one, their fourth grade heart-eyes for each other, the impact of Theo's time in the dreamscape or Scott's murder. Go where your heart guides you!

Monday, October 16th: For Better or Worse

Theo basically proposed to Scott in season 5, and makes good on his promise in season 6. For today's theme, explore how deeply these two end up committing to each other.
