my cag sk kwhen i sayb nk dont stod.
Futile Resistance
Hero stared down at the criminal, if such a word could even describe the evil that embodied the supervillain. Rain poured down their face, dripping off their eye lashes and onto their cheeks as they stood, too nervous or too prudent to touch the other, they weren’t sure.
“F-Fuck off.” Supervillain wheezed, Hero could barely make out their words over the relentless pattering of rain around them. They were lying, barely conscious, on the gravel of some remote driveway. Deep in the depths of nowhere with no aid for their wounds and no backup to take them home.
The crime-stopper blinked, unamused, yet determined. “I don’t think you’re in a position to be saying that.” They practically had to shout over their surroundings. “You know, pushing me away could get you killed.”
There was a pause between the pair, given as the supervillain choked in the mud, coughing up phlegm and blood before collapsing back into their exhausted heap. They groaned, but didn’t say much else. Hero could’ve sworn they heard them mumble, but no distinct words reached their ears.
Cautiously, the hero crouched down. They balanced their weight on their toes in a squat as they observed the other.
Too closely, for the supervillain’s liking as they flinched away and grumbled. Doing their best to pull back from the hero while they bled out. “B-Better than t-the compound…”
Hero hummed disapprovingly as the injured wracked up a wheezing cough from their lungs. It sounded like they were drowning from the inside out, Hero just couldn’t tell if it was because their lungs were filling with blood or rain water.
They shivered, pushing the image from their brain to regain their focus. “I won’t take you to the compound. That won’t do you any good. We’ll head to med-bay and—”
“This i-is not a ‘we’ situation.”
“Christ, Supervillain. Would it kill you to accept some help for once in your life?”
They grinned, something half proud and half pained. “C-Considering you’re a hero… y-yeah, fucking probably.”
At this point, the hero was grasping at threads. They wanted to help, but Supervillain was making it their life’s work to avoid any and all of it.
The crime-stopper ran a hand through their hair, frustrated. They needed a plan or maybe to coerce, or seduce, or trap, or just something. Something that would work.
“Listen, I don’t want to hurt you and I don’t want to watch you die out here pathetically.” The villain grimaced at the last word, too prideful to imagine a pitiful death for themselves. “But, in order for you to survive this, you need to come with me.”
Supervillain huffed, provoking another cough and a glob of blood to drip from their mouth. Subconsciously, they reached one arm around their torso, protecting it from a force that didn’t exist except from the inside, however it seemed to ease their mind with the thought of an added barrier. “Your e-entire… entire team wants m-me dead.”
Slowly, Hero pressed themselves a little bit closer to the other, in increments until they were on both knees and shrapnel dug cuts into their suits’ outer layer. The supervillain’s breathing was getting more and more laboured and their eyes had a distance in them that they hadn’t held prior.
Truthfully, Supervillain had a point. They weren’t exactly praised amongst the heroes, rather the only times you could find their face was on a bounty. Which was well-deserved, Supervillain killed heroes, kidnapped civilians, tortured the innocent and haunted any one who crossed their path. Even if it was in a grocery store, nobody ever escaped the supervillain unscathed.
If Hero truly wanted to be a hero, they would’ve left the supervillain the second they saw them. To balance the scales of their past, Hero could’ve also invited the other heroes to watch or film the other’s death and publish it worldwide.
But they didn’t.
For whatever reason, they didn’t. And they weren’t about to let their efforts go to waste.
“I won’t leave you here. Whether I can convince you to take my help or not, I won’t let you die alone here.”
The rain helped wash the blood from the supervillain’s suit, they watched it pool in the rocks beneath them with disinterest, but it made them look more alive when you couldn’t see their life drain straight from the source. Quietly they lifted their head—Hero winced at the amount of effort it took them—watery eyes locked onto their nemesis’ and their tears mixed with the downpour.
“I don’t… want to die…”
Hero smiled, shaking their head from the raindrops as they reached forwards, grabbing onto Supervillains ice cold hand. “Then let me help you.”
Supervillain didn’t have it in them to fight it anymore.

So what should we think? Hadn't he been trumpeted by the tabloids that he and Lisa had broken up? At the time it was just an attempt to mislead public attention probably. She no longer follows him on IG but he does, apparently. Here's also why Lisa hadn't made any statements after the alleged breakup ... they were simply still dating in reality. Really ... those kids don't need him. I hope they find a more believable male figure in Elizabeth's boyfriend.
Who tf knows? I really hope Lisa's friends and family keep an eye on her is all I'm gonna sayb🤷♀️
