belos: 10/10. literally nothing could convince me to lower that number. somehow all the sexualities at once. somehow both a top and bottom at once. attractive voice, relaxed demeanor, gorgeous hair. the evilness is a plus. (magical in its forbiddenality.)

titan: 10/10. absolutely feral for this big ass creature of a man. and DO i mean 'big ass'. could probably snap any of his partners like a twig. for those looking to get into metallurgy, ship him with belos for maximum heat. your standard bear.

piniet: 9.5/10. for those undiscerning viewers who might struggle to recall this individual - this was the hot evil lizard man from the fanfiction-book-writing episode. fucking obsessed with his voice and you just can't go wrong with lizards. your standard token scaly.

eda: 9/10. she's hot for sure, with an attractive voice and gorgeous hair as well. points off bc she gives too many shits about children. (possibly i like milfs only in theory, not in practice.) but she regains points bc of her harpy form. gawd dayum!

darius: 9/10. suffers much the same fate as eda, in that he's hot normally with an extra hot super form, but unfortunately he cares about kids. your standard gay hunk.

warden wrath: 8/10. hot af in the first episode. good banter with eda as well. points off since he becomes pathetic later on. your standard himbo.

bump: 7.5/10. just a touch too old for my tastes, but he has a great voice and is just generally pretty attractive. competent, too. solid man.

camila: 7/10. manny was a lucky man.

alador: 6.5/10. i like him more than his exwife but he doesn't care enough about his children. still, your standard moderately hot dilf.

salty: 6/10. again, no shade to those who don't remember. this was the pirate guy from the selkidomus hunting ep. he was actually reasonably hot. nothing nuclear, but i'd prob smash if i was at sea with him for a while.

odalia: 5.5/10. good level of evilness present, but she just isn't my style. nothing 'gainst her though.

raine: 5/10. your perfectly average gnc twink.

lilith: 5/10. she just looks like a regular person to me, sorry.

terra: 2.5/10. she's just kind of old and not hot. points for evil i guess.

I can not BELIEVE they sidelined Hunter for the Belos fight????

THE FUCKING BELOS FIGHT AND THEY STUCK HUNTER IN THE B PLOT OF SAVING PEOPLE FROM THE COLLECTORS TOWER.

Cause I guess if Hunter was over helping fight Belos he wouldn’t be able to stand next to Willow in literally every frame. God forbid.

We literally got NO Hunter and Luz interactions in the epilogue?? They barely got to interact after Thanks to Them. They really gave me a totally unrealistic expectation with Thanks to them for how much sibling content I’d be getting… Outside of them talking at each other NOT the same as actually interacting we got like a solid two interactions.

My dumb ass was really out here like “Hunter and Luz are going to act as the closure to Caleb and Evelyn’s story. Caleb and Evelyn were building a family together only to have it cruelly ripped away from them when Belos killed him. The next 400 years are spent repeating that cycle, as Belos creates and kills each grimwalker, until the adopted daughter of the Evelyn’s descendant reaches out to Belos’s most recent grimwalker and invites him to be a part of her family. And like every time before, Belos resigns himself to destroying this attempt and starting over again. Except this time something different happens. This time Belos FAILS. Luz and Hunter save each other, break the cycle and escape. And now, they get a chance to do something that no one before, all the way back to Caleb and Evelyn, had ever gotten the chance to do, they get to Fight Back. For Caleb and Evelyn, for Darius and his mentor, for every grimwalker killed and the people who loved them. They get to stop Belos from doing it ever again.”

And the finale was like “haha yeah, noo~ no.”

I hate the ‘splitting the party’ trend at the best of times, bc my platonic/familial relationship almost ALWAYS get separated into the A plot and the B plot. But I’m in utter DISBELIEF that it happened in this case too. So much for my beloved siblings getting equal treatment to the romances.

An entire fully animated sequence of Hunter and Willow stumbling down a hill but they couldn’t give us a SINGLE moment of Hunter and Luz together.

I’m not giving them the “they had a lot to wrap up in three episodes” excuse anymore. There’s SO much space for Luz and Hunter sibling moments if you take out the completely pointless Basha Kikimora villain subplot.

Unpopular TOH opinion but I actually really liked that the final scenes included the credits. It didn’t block any major animation during the scenes and it gave credit to all the wonderful people that worked on the show. It showed how many people poured their talent into this show to make it what it was. Nobody stays after the show to watch the credits so I liked that it was in there. It gave the team a chance to have their names out there and receive praise for all their hard work.

Epilogue Hunter redesign I made forever ago because I hate how canon just made him Caleb 2.0 <3 I gave him back his cute little hair cut from Thanks For Them, made his palisman a wolf named Bailey, and rather than being a wood carver he's a student at the new school of wild magic because now he can finally learn everything Belos forbade him from even mentioning. He's also taking a few classes at the Gravesfield Community College, fashion mostly. He helps make costumes for the local theater. Honestly, he's just that 20 something who's trying a lot of different things to find himself but he's content with who he is currently :) He goes between the Demon and Human realms often. Camilla and Darius share custody.
