rec 00 -g. tomioka, t.uzui, k.rengoku, s. shinazugawa, sabito (aged up)
↳ an au where reader is a camgirl and our boys are her #1 donators
NSFW WARNING || 18+
↳ masturbation, recording/video, daddy kink/dirty talk
Tumblr media
g.  tomioka
This guy probably found you through Sabito
One day he just walked into the room and glanced at Sabito’s screen and once he does he just can’t take his eyes off
You had him hypnotized from the very first second he laid eyes on you
From the soft cries that left your lips to the way your legs trembled around the toy you were thrusting into your wet cunt
HE WAS HOOKED
Sabito will turn to find Giyuu behind him, his blue eyes filled with lust and a prominent hard on
“Like what you see?” Sabito chuckles before tossing Giyuu his phone, “Just make sure you don’t get any of your jizz on my phone.” he teases, before leaving Giyuu with his phone to take care of his little friend.
Giyuu doesn’t even have time to come up with a response as the next video plays, the sight of your bare cunt on display with your fingers spreading your labia apart made him choke on his breath. Needless to say, Sabito wasn’t getting his phone back anytime soon.
Bonus: He probably goes through Sabito’s favorites to see what else he has that he can masturbate to, cause like, the man knows where it’s at
Tumblr media
s. shinazugawa
Sanemi is probably one of your biggest patrons
He’ll be scrolling through his recommended list and stop at the sight of your cute ass cheeks on the thumbnail
so plump
so smackable
he just fantasizes over what they’d look like with his hand prints all over them
You’ll be on your hands and knees with a fucking machine driving into your cunt at a fast pace
The fucking machine is of course controlled by the donations you get from your patrons, so the more $$ the higher the speed it fucks you at
He’ll get excited once he clicks on the thumbnail and hears your soft whimpers, your whole entire body trembling; signaling to him that you had just cum
He’ll donate a large amount just so that he can watch the machine fuck you at a fast and harsh pace, imagining that it was him pounding into your tight and wet cunt
Your whimpers only get louder and louder from the brisk pace of the machine, your hands fisting the silky sheets between your fingers while your body convulses from the pleasure, your poor abused cunt, so sensitive from your previous orgasms
His donations are very generous, so generous you allow him to pick what will happen on the streams sometimes
Tumblr media
t. uzui
You know the whole Saturday is for the boys thing? N O P E
Saturdays are for you and for you only, since you stream every Saturday
Like Sanemi, Tengen is probably also one of your biggest patrons and has access to all the VIP shit that you offer
He probably has all your videos downloaded offline so that he can watch them everywhere
His favorite one is where you’re riding a dildo suctioned cupped to the floor
He likes watching your cunt get stretched by the plastic toy, enjoying the sounds of your whimpers as you slowly sink down on the damn thing
He wonders what its like to have your cunt wrapped around his cock, your ribbed walls squeezing around his cock, milking his cock till your cunt is overflowing with his cum and yours combined
Definitely loves the way you role play on your live streams too
“Please Daddy I’ve been good,” you begged, your hips still, once you sank all the way down on the toy. “Won’t you fill me up with all of your love now?”
Tumblr media
k. rengoku
This man never misses a live stream
If he can’t watch it, he’s recording it
theres just absolutely no way he’s missing out on his dirty little slut
As one of your top paying patrons, he also has some control of what you do on stream some times
“That’s it baby girl, touch yourself for me”
“Tease yourself nice and slow”
“Run your fingers up and down your slit for me baby girl, but don’t stick them in just yet.”
“Spread your cunt for me angel, show Daddy how wet you are”
He makes it an effort to cum at the same time as you whenever you touch yourself. He’s gotten so accustomed to the sounds you make and the way your body reacts, that he’s learned to time himself whenever he masturbates to you.
Tumblr media
sabito
This cocky bastard
probably also has control of your stream from time to time and just loves to edge you
loves to hear you beg to cum and definitely wants to hear you beg for his cock
Just one look of your innocent face and he was already all over you account
Wants nothing more than to cum all over that pretty little face of yours
Wants to be the one to taint your innocence
and wreck your pussy
He probably has access to all your VIP benefits too and enjoys all the personal photos he gets of you
Probably persuades you to do a private live stream for him and let me tell you, after that live stream, you guys have probably met up on numerous occasions to fuck
You’ve never felt that aroused on stream before and knowing that he was watching you, controlling you, telling you what to do just made you so damn needy you felt like you were going insane
Everything he was telling you to do, wasn’t new to you before, but why the fuck did it feel 100000x better when he was telling you what to do?
“I don’t think you deserve it Kitten,” Sabito teased, shutting the fucking machine off with a click of the button; a needy whine leaving the girl’s lips as Sabito denied her 4th orgasm. “Please Daddy, I want to cum. I need it.”
Safe to say you’ve never came that hard before in your life; except for when Sabito is around. Now during your live streams all you can think about is his cock as you plunge the sex toy in and out of your cunt. You probably moan his name sometimes on stream too.

Yandere hashiras x modern reader PART 2
Part 1
@mikoz-u I woke up and wrote this.
Having your tongue cut off wasn't pleasant, especially from your own creations. All because you happened to talk about their oh-so-sad past.
But will that stop you? No. So of course, you have to learn sign language now. And you did.
The hashiras were baby-ing you more ever since they had to 'punish you.' Really now? PUNISH? Babe, that's not a punishment, it's a crime.
Did they care? No.
Mitsuri would out of the random start blabbering apologies and start crying saying of how she was just soo sad.. She really didn't wanna hurt you! But it was for your own good. But she promises that she didn't wanna hurt you! :(
And our dear Sanemi couldn't just get enough of taunting you, saying that those were the consequences of your own action. Sometimes Obanai would join him.
He would all be like, "See? If you hadn't talked shit and acted like a brat, none of this would've happened." All the while you would be cursing him off in sign language.
All of them learnt sign language with you, which was one of the most convenient way to talk to you.
But did the all of you ever have a civil conversation? No.
You would still be taunting them in sign language, obviously.
"Sabito died because of you, Giyuu!"
"Genya is all alone and is probably dead, just because you couldn't stay in your own world, Sanemi!"
And more and more taunts at their past.
You've made them cry NUMEROUS times. But they never cried in front of you, though.
They were now contemplating cutting off your fingers.
They do regret cutting off your tongue, a bit. I mean, they can't hear your sweet voice now.. Even if it was always insulting them, still.
They just wish for you to behave like a good girl so that all of you can live in peace and harmony.
Is that too much to ask now? They've gone through so much all because of you, and now you refuse to be their place for solace and calm? Don't act so selfish, now.
All you have to do is sit there and behave. They will take care of everything else. You wouldn't even need to lift a finger.
"Ne, [Name]-Chan, please open your mouth!! This is extremely delicious," Mitsuri swooned, hovering some mochi near your mouth. You couldn't do anything but open your mouth, still remembering what happened the last time you didn't.
In the background, you could hear Obanai and Sanemi chuckle saying how their 'punishment' seemed to work.
Like a doll, you were dragged from one hashira to another. All of them saying, '"It's my turn now with [Name]!" Were you some kind of damn puppet? You would say that, but you can't. I mean, your hands are tied and you can't speak..
Muichiro dragging you with him outside to your backyard to cloud-gaze so that he can lay in your lap.
Uzui forcefully making you model different clothes he bought for you, some of them too revealing for your liking.
Kyojuro making you watch a movie with him, thinking of it as a date and all the while ignoring the fact that you were tied up.
Mitsuri styling your hair and squishing your cheeks, treating you like some kind of Teddy bear. Man, you feel like biting her hand if she touches your hair once again.
Gyomei is the most tolerable, since all he wants to do is simply be in your presence.
And then comes Shinobu The Witch. She is probably secretly researching how to make a 'love potion.' If given the right materials, then man you are doomed. I feel like she would enjoy gardening with you. To her, it feels intimate.
All Giyuu wants to do is hold your hand and cuddle you. Anywhere. He doesn't care who is watching and where you are. Probably the neediest and clingy.
Sanemi would also likely make you watch him cook. Look, you can't tell me he isn't a good cook. I refuse to believe such bullshit. The food he makes is bomb, but of course, you would never admit it to his face.
Last but not least is Obanai. He is too shy to ask for your attention so he would most likely be stalking you doing different activities with everybody in the shadows.
You are just some doll for all of them. A real, breathing doll.

~ Demon slayer - the nine hashiras ~
This headcanon is originally in Portuguese, my English is translated using an automatic translator, if there are any big errors you can tell me so I can fix them 💛💛
Tumblr media
Muichiro Tokito 🌫️😐🌫️😐🌫️😐🌫️ 😐🌫️
10% lee / 90% lee
Ler:
- 10% is not zero
- Muichiro tickles without much emotion, but he does
- He thinks it's cute to see people laughing, and he says so, but he doesn't show it, unfortunately
- Some people have already caught him smiling while tickling someone
- After recovering his memories he provokes a lot
- And smiles a lot while attacking
- Jumps on top of the person, arrests them and celebrates
- Favorite Lees: Tanjiro, Genya and Tomioka
- “Your smile is really considerable, and it’s certainly not a waste of time, how beautiful”
Lee:
- Look at that baby face, it's obvious that he's the one who feels the most ticklish 100/100
- Remembers his brother tickling him
- Yes, he likes it, usually the most sensitive ones love it
- IT'S OBVIOUS THAT MUICHIRO SNORTS
- He is a grumpy little boy who has to smile, and for that everyone attacks him
- Obviously he's been smiling more lately but that doesn't stop anyone from tickling him
- Every, EVERY, Hashira attacks him as soon as he arrives
- Weak points: belly and belly button
- Teasing that catches him “for a strong boy like you to feel that much ticklish, it must be really bad”
Tumblr media
Gyuu Tomioka 💦🌊💦🌊💦🌊💦 🌊💦 🌊
30% ler / 70% lee
Ler:
- Gyuu tickles whoever tickles him, damn it
- Imagine him attacking Tanjiro after becoming friends
- Tickling is a game for him, attacking others makes him happy
- Cold and direct, makes you apologize and really won't stop until you ask, won't stop even if you cry
- Cute tickle fights with Sanemi, just, of course
- He loved tickling Sabito, when he remember that, you can catch him laughing alone
- Favorites lees: Tanjiro, Sanemi and Muichiro (Sabito 😭)
- “You better apologize or you’ll die”
Lee:
- his personality hides a very sensitive inner self 100/100
- The only way to make him hang up and smile is to tickle him, for sure
- He tries to hold back his smile until he is defeated and starts laughing
- He shakes himself a lot, but he will never apologize for the kicks he gave in the face of his friends
- Reaching his knees and squeezing makes him scream and he is very ashamed of it
- Weak points: knees, I just said bro
- Teasing that gets him: “finally you opened that little smile”
Tumblr media
Shinobu Kochou 🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋🐛 🦋🐛 🦋
95% ler / 5% lee
Ler:
- Shinobu is a great ler
- She makes her lee scream and beg for mercy muahahahaha
- Seriously, don't play with her if you don't want to get crushed
- Don't be fooled by that cute face
- His passion is to make it clear how weak and despicable his lee is
- Man, that sounded really mean, sorry skskksksks.
- But she's really evil
- There's only a little mercy, at least when someone is on the verge of tears she releases them unlike Tomioka
- Favorite Lees: Gyuu and Kanao (Kanae 😭)
- “You are extremely weak, what a shame”
Lee:
- No
- Just no
- Don't tickle her

Kyojuro Rengoku 🔥😋🔥😋🔥😋 🔥😋
80% ler / 20% lee
Ler:
- Kyojuro is very smiley when he is tickling someone
- Laugh with the person and stuff
- And it's also super obvious that you can't run away from him or try to wriggle away, he can simply trap your arms and attack you even more for trying to escape him
- I think he's the kind of guy who would scream “TIKLE FIGHT” and throw everyone to the ground and kill everyone lol
- Observing him, I imagine that the greatest prize of all is to make the frowning people open a big smile, like Tomioka and Tokito
- Tickling others is a passion for him
- Favorite Lees: those with the most ass faces Gyuu, Muichiro, Sanemi and Obanai and extra Uzui
- “Yes, young, your destiny is fixed”
Lee:
- Rengoku is ticklish to a considerable amount 80/100
- Doesn't care about others attacking him actually
- Gonna get them later kskskskksksks
- In the that fights he -clearly- has with Uzui, he usually loses because of the two he is the more sensitive
- These are the best tickles for him
- Weak points: feet and sides
- Teasing that get him: “it looks like today you won’t be the winner”
Tumblr media
Uzui Tengen 🔊✨🔊✨🔊✨🔊✨ 🔊✨
90% ler / 10% lee
Ler:
- Obviously ruthless
- Everything in the greatest extravagance, that’s obvious
- This man's tickles are extraordinarily strong
- Like, he comes up behind someone super silently, there's no way to hear him
- Tickle fights are his favorite, where he can laugh and play with the other hashiras and such
- He screams “TICKLE FIGHT” too, ksksksksksksks
- He especially likes to finish off Rengoku, it's his life goal
- Favorite Lees: Rengoku
- “Your laugh is almost as extravagant as me”
Lee:
- Uzui feels almost no tickles 40/100
- But if he feels it and where he feels it, at that point he feels a lot, you know?
- The 10% only exists in excess of tickle fights with Kyojuro, in which he is sometimes defeated
- At his specific weak point, he bursts into loud, loud laughter
- Weak points: armpits
- Teasing that get him: “your laugh is still too low for someone so extravagant”
Tumblr media
Mitsuri Kanroji 🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚
60% ler / 40% lee
Ler:
- Kanroji is one of the best lers, she is objective and doesn't give up on a target until she catches it
- She doesn't really like interrogating people until they suffer, like some people out there
- She likes to make his lees admit that they like it
- She finds it super cute to see people laughing and falls in love with it
- Mitsuri is one of the worst because of her giant strength that will pin anyone to the ground and won't let them escape
- Tickles Muichiro just because he's cute and Obanai because she's definitely in love with him, kskskskskskskksksks
- Favorite Lees: Muichiro and Obanai, 🥹 and Nezuko
- “How beautiful and attractive you look when you are tickled!”
Lee:

- Bubbly giggles without many complaints I would say
- Weak points: Sides and thighs (Obanai must be embarrassed to squeeze her thighs lol)
-Teases that get her: “so beautiful, so sensitive”
Tumblr media
Obanai Igoru 🐍😒🐍😒🐍😒🐍😒 🐍😒
50% ler / 50% lee
Ler:
- Igoru is definitely the type to provoke, but in a calm way that makes you go crazy
- Despite teasing you for being in that situation, his touch is light and calm, as if he doesn't want you to die
- But sometimes light tickles are the worst, so he'll break you and brag about it
- He's totally the type to chase you with an evil laugh lol
- Your snake can trap your arms :)
- He tickles Mitsuri, but he's embarrassed because he's obviously in love with her
- Favorite Lees: Mitsuri
- “You look like you’re on the verge of death and I haven’t even started yet”
Lee:
- He really feels ticklish
- 90/100, they are always the provocateurs and the shy ones
- His laughs are low but bubbly
- He says he hates tickling and wants to get out of there NOW, but deep down he doesn't mind laughing every now and then, you know
- Does not admit that he feels ticklish
- He has a face like someone who gets hiccups after being attacked, that would be funny lol and those who would laugh at his face would be Tengen and Sanemi
- Mitsuri also tickles him, she is naughty and he likes it
- He can scream a lot when his weak point is hit, despite being always well protected by the snake wrapped around him
- Weak points: neck
- Teasing that gets him: “and despite all that laughter, you don’t feel ticklish, right?”
- Bonus: the snake tickles when wrapped around him
Tumblr media
Sanemi Shinazugawa 💨🌬️💨🌬️ 💨🌬️ 💨
80% ler / 20% lee
Ler:
- Sanemi provokes a lot
- I was really crazy
- Look at that boy's demonic face
- His tickles are not as strong as Mitsuri's or Uzui's or as effective as Shinobu's, but slowly the lee dies inside
- Loves to see his target squirming
- When he catches Tomioka, he says he has a thirst for revenge because Gyuu probably tickled him and kills him
- He tickles Genya really cute when they get closer again ainnn
- He's a bit aggressive but he never wanted to hurt any of his fellow Hashiras during tickling, sorry
- Favorite Lees: Tomioka and Genya (siblings 🥹)
- “I’m going to kill you~”
Lee:
- Now he's the one who dies skskksksksks
- Very sensitive 90/100, however, no one really wants to tickle him if not for revenge, so only Tomioka would know his worst points
- Also, like Obanai, he doesn't admit that he feels ticklish
- He only likes it when it's Tomioka, and then he doesn't complain so much
- But when it's someone else he screams and kicks like a baby
- His laugh is shrill and bubbly, very loud
- Curling himself into a ball is him defense against any sneaky hand
- Surprise attacks catch him more
- Running a single finger across all his scars is enough for him to die
- Weak points: ribs and scars
- Provocations that get him: “Being completely defeated must be humiliating for you, right?”
Tumblr media

- He likes to feel like the two grumpy kids are having fun
- Favorite Lees: Muichiro and Genya obviously
- “May Buddha have mercy on your poor soul”
Lee:
- The 5% is left for some time when Muichiro and Genya have already tickled him back
- And for a few times that the Hashira boy lay on his lap and caressed him without meaning to
- Weak points: neck (but no one can reach it lol)
- Teasing that gets him: he doesn't deserve to be teased, he's cute (teasing doesn't work on him)

﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
BURY A FRIEND.
"Before you start questioning my appearence, I had a bad dream, yeah. Like, I fucking thought I made out with Kokushibo" you grumbled, hands tightly wrapped around your warm mug as you scrunched up your face for the bad headache you were currently experiencing.
You surely had learnt your lesson. Never drink that much again, not for a man anyway.
Your body ached, as you tried to discern reality from the blurry imagines pestering your mind. You just remembered one thing: you had drunk that much because Muzan had not showed up at your date. It was foolish to hurt yourself like that for someone like him, but maybe you had started to let him in. How could you not? His charm and mannerism would have not left anyone indifferent. Not even you.
Akaza almost choked on his coffee, his eyes widening even so slightly as he coughed at your revelation "It sounds like the intro of a scary movie" he simply commented, leaning against the kitchen counter, as he locked eyes with you.
"It is. The cherry on top was the argument with the white-haired bitch..." you added, pinching the bridge of your nose and wincing softly for the sharp pain in your head. You needed a pain killer, there was no doubt about it.
"Douma?" Akaza inquired, quirking his eyebrows up questioningly.
You chuckled softly, shaking your head and hopping down from the stool you were sitting on "The other bitch" you clarified and, judging by Akaza's knowing look, he immediately realized who you were talking about.
"Oh, she's about to come and grab her coffee. Girls fight?" he asked, an amused grin crossing his lips as you stared at him horrified by the news. With all the stuff you had to do that morning, the last thing you needed was bumping into her again, therefore you were quick to wave your hand at him and walk back towards your room.
Drawing your phone from the back pocket of your jeans, you checked the news. Among more gossip about Muzan and the mysterious girl he helped out at the park, your attention was caught by a specific breaking news.
"BOMBS IN THE UBUYASHIKI INDUSTRY: FOUR VICTIMS FOUND ON THE SCENE".
You were about to click on the link, when someone behind you cleared his throat and you hastily locked the screen in panic, your grip on the phone almost slipping. Whipping your head towards the direction of the voice, your eyes met Muzan's ones. He was already dressed to leave, his outfit impeccable as per usual, his expression somehow softer than what you were used to. Maybe, he was about to apologize for having stood you out at the restaurant. Your sharp tongue obviously did not miss the chance to taunt him about it.
"You've been a jerk" you said, folding your arms over your chest and showing off a forced smile.
Muzan quirked his eyebrow up "Oh, good morning to you too" he replied, not moving an inch from where he was standing. His plum red eyes travelled attentively up and down your frame, assessing that you were probably about to leave too.
"Well, you said you wanted to really try to court me. Having your First in Command attend the date you had planned for us at your place was kind of a turn off" you punctuated, narrowing your eyes at him as you motioned to enter your room.
His voice, however, made you halt.
"That's why I have taken the morning off from my duties. I would like to spend some quality time with you. No guards around, no one to disturb us. Just you and I" he explained, sounding genuine despite his monotone tone of voice. This was weird. Yet, it was surely a good way to make amend. The bastard surely knew how to play his cards right.
You cocked your head to the side, your foreteeth sinking onto your bottom lip as you let his words sink in. You were still kind of puzzled by it, but you could not help the soft smile stirring on your face. You were up for it. This relationship, fake or real, had to work. Was there even a better way of acting natural around your partner than settling down and spending time together?
"What exactly are you planning, Muzan?" you asked him, leaning your shoulder against the closed door and staring up at him in curiosity.
The raven-haired politician straightened his black satin tie and locked eyes with you once again "I want to know you better, that's all" he declared.
You parted your lips in disbelief, but it did not last long, as your eyes narrowed and you decided to simply ask him the main question that had been haunting you throughout the night "Where were you yesterday night?" you asked him, mouth unnaturally dry for the fear of receiving an answer you would have not liked.
What if he was with Daki, or Nakime?
Your stomach churned at that thought, your heart thrumming in your chest while you waited for him to answer you. You found it odd how the possibility of him spending the night with another woman irked you more than the idea of him plotting crimes. Perhaps, your subconscious had come to terms with the fact that he was a criminal. But a cheater, well, it was a whole other story.
"I attended a poker night with some gentlemen in some private club. I brought Douma and Nakime with me and that's the till receipt. Feel free to call the club, if you do not trust me" he answered, no hesitation in his voice as he pulled a small piece of paper from his wallet and handed it to you.
He knew how to lie and he did not have to think twice to do it. In his head, this was the rightest thing he could do. Why? He wanted to protect you, it was obvious, but probably the answer to the fatal question implied by that concept made his own veins shiver. Who did he want to keep you safe from?
The answer was plain and simple: from himself.
When you then grasped that piece of paper and your gaze flicked up to meet his one, he knew he had tricked you. He did not like the idea of playing with you like that, leaving you completely oblivious of his nefandous actions, but he could have not stood to see you staring at him the way you did when he had killed your father before your eyes. What if he triggered something in your mind and you remembered? What if you ran away from him?
You could not run from him.
"Oh, I see. — you said, as you read the name of the club printed on the small, creased rectangular paper — You know, I would have come with you, if you had asked me to. I totally suck at playing cards games, but I know how to behave" you reasoned, your stomach churning once again at the thought that getting involved with him was living with constant trust issues.
He was not lying now, was he? He had given you evidence of where he was and, you even had the club name as a reference, in case you wanted to check on his alibi.
He was about to take the receipt back, your hand stretched out to hand it to him, when the sound of Douma's voice rang in your ears and Muzan turned around to face him. It was right in that moment that the devil on your shoulder, whispering wicked melodies to you, began to chant his plan in your ear.
As Douma waved his hand at you, you smiled at him, but you did not listen to any word coming out of his or Muzan's mouth, for what could matter. All you were focused on was Muzan's back facing you as Douma showed him something from a tablet. It was the perfect timing. You glanced at the phone in your left hand, checking if it was mute, before swallowing down forcefully.
Do it. Check it. Prove him wrong.
Your headache was almost getting worse, as you tried to fight back the malicious intent to investigate further. What would you have done, if you somehow succeeded in solving the puzzle? This was not you, this was not your style. You were not this person, were you? Plotting a vendetta was not in your plan, just like falling in love with such a morally grey man.
But, apparently, living in a house in which the most innocent inhabitant was a stalker taking compromising pictures of people and doing wax play on his colleague's bed was affecting you.
As you glanced at the club's name alluring you to become a 'spy', you did it. Yielding to your impulse, you took a quick picture of the receipt and exhaled, after locking the screen of your phone once again. You had taken the first step in becoming a psychotic moon too. The thrill of having done something like that right under Muzan's nose felt almost exciting, almost as if you were the one in charge this time.
"No. I will personally accompany her to buy the dress for the Gala. Cancel all of my meetings for tomorrow evening" Muzan said then, snapping you out of your stream of consciousness and reminding you of the big day in which you have probably been announced as Muzan's new official flame.
As Muzan glanced back at you, his dark eyebrow up as you stared at him with the face of a toddler listening to her parents talking about her, you flashed him a thin-lipped smile and pretended nothing had happened.
Douma hummed and cocked his head to the side, his eyes locking with yours as you started to feel a little discomfort at the thought that, the last time you met him, he had witnessed to you moaning like a pornstar while riding Muzan. You needed to get out of that situation and you ended up saying the first thing that came to your mind.
"Douma, I'm glad to see your nose is no more swollen" you noted, hinting at the punch your soon to be husband had kindly delivered to him in the parking lot.
"Ah, you're so sweet, sweetheart! My nose has gone back to be pretty!" Douma beamed, winking at you, only for Muzan to dart his plum red homicidal eyes back on him in contempt.
"Leave, unless you'd like to get plastic surgery this time" Muzan flatly stated, as you felt your jaw go slack in utter shock for what he had just said.
The eerie silence swallowing the corridor made you question if Muzan really meant every word he had said. Of course, he did. He had not hesitated to punch Douma right away in tha past and he surely had done far way more deranged things to people. You did not comprehend why it was still kind of hard for you to picture him covered in someone else's blood. Maybe it was because you were catching feelings for him, or because you would have loved him to be a better man.
As Douma shrugged and turned his back at you two to leave, you sighed and nudged Muzan's ribs in irritation "Oi, was this really necessary?" you flatly asked him, furrowing your brows and grasping his hand to slap the receipt onto his palm not so gently.
Muzan towered over you, his eyes reduced to two slits now, while he closed his hand in a fist a dropped his arm down his side. His free hand reached up, grasping your chin between his thumb and forefinger, before leaning down and kissing you slowly.
Your eyes widened even so slightly, your lips moving in sync with his ones, while your body relaxed authomatically under the influence of his kiss. You had missed him, you had missed the feeling he was capable of giving you, that unhinged turmoil of emotions leaving you wide awake at night.
But as he suddenly pulled back and stared down at you with his typical stern face, you shot an interrogative glance at him, which he returned with your same question "Was this really necessary?" he inquired, making you sigh and roll your eyes.
"Which Moon did this?" the raven-haired Slayer merely said, his tone barely audible as his ocean blue eyes were transfixed on the dead body of his friend. He knew their lives were in constant danger. He had seen his fair number of dead comrades to say he could have been the next one laying on the metallic table, covered by nothing but a white blanket.
However, he somehow always refused to foresee this event involving him.
He hoped this was an illusion, some terrific lucid dream, but it was real. Fox, his best friend, the boy with a peculiar scar on his cheek and those weird lavender eyes was dead. Sabito was dead. Calling him by his code name was useless. He was gone forever.
Grasping the hem of the blanket, he tugged it up over his pale face and took a few steps back, waiting for Shinobu to speak.
She stayed silent for several seconds, before taking her gloves off and tossing them in the bin "Actually, it was not a Moon. Inosuke's mother had a 'K' carved onto her cheek. It's rare for him to take matters into his hands but, when he does, he always makes sure to leave his mark" she said, her gaze flicking up over his face. His jaw was clenched, his hands tucked into the pockets of his trousers as he listened carefully to her.
They were all mourning. Yet, Shinobu never lost her occasion to sneakily get what she wanted. Someone would have said she was insensible, cunning and detached from the world. But how could she cry over the body of someone she never even considered her friend, when he had not even had the decency of expressing his condolences to her when Kanae had died? All because he thought she was only a snake.
"You look terrible. — she chimed then, walking up to him and reaching her hand up to stroke his cheek — Come with me. I can fix that" she said lowly.
But she was not probably ready for his reaction. His hand latched around her wrist tightly, causing her to widen her eyes in shock and wince in pain, while he glared at her "Shut the hell up. Stay away from me" he hissed, roughly pushing her away as she ended up hitting the lockers behind her with her back.
She scoffed, her eyes narrowing as she massaged the bruised area of her tiny wrist. If eyes could kill, Giyuu would have probably been dead by now. She did not have much time to say anything, or react, for he had stormed out of the morgue, slamming the door behind him.
He was dead inside, his heart pumping the blood so fast he felt his ears ringing. He could not spend another minute of that day there with the others. He dashed out of the building, his hand grasping the keys of his car in his pocket, and he only slowed down when he spotted the new recruits gathered in a small circle in the parking lot. He was not good at comforting people, he kept his distance, watching the way the Kamado silblings, Shinobu's younger sister and Zenitsu tried to provide a shoulder to cry on to Inosuke.
They were so young. He remembered the day they were announced to be the newest addition to the Corps. He would have loved to discourage them, tell them to leave and explore the limiteless possibilities life offers to the young generation. Talking, however, was not his forte. Grief, pain, mourning, fear and anger were what made people grow up.
Sabito was not inexperienced, still he had succumbed. Hopping into his car, he wondered who would have been the next among those young recruits. Thunder? Beast? They were both fragile right now. The former dealing with the betrayal of his cousin, the latter devastated by the loss of his mother. Ribbon? Flame? They were broken beyond repair but, as long as they stack together as one, nothing could truly bring them down. What about Cherry, though? Shinobu's younger sister, the pride and joy of the late Kanae, the girl esteemed to be more skilled than Shinobu. She was pretty damaged too.
But that was nonsense talk. No one facing death was ready to die. No matter how much damaged you are, when a blade is on your neck, you do not push your jugular on the edge.
Unless you do it to protect someone.
Giyuu groaned, his knuckles turning pale for the tight grip on the steering wheel as he pushed the gas pedal and drove down the street with blurry eyes. Only one name was in his mind now, one face and one smile he wished to cherish and protect for the rest of his most likely numbered days. And it was you. You were the only one he cared about.
As he stopped at a red light, he grasped his phone and texted you. He did not need to add details, pour his heart, or what was left of it, into the words. You would have understood, because you were the only person who knew him better than anyone else. You were his little hope in a desolate land crowded by monsters and shadows.
GIYUU: Meet me at the rooftop tonight.
How many nights he had spent with you, sitting on the rooftop of your old house, a blanket around you two as you rambled about the ghosts of the past and the fears of your future. Growing up, this habit did not change. He always met you on a rooftop, he always brought you your favorite blanket, but you sipped on beers on the rooftop of your new house now.
Under the same old starry sky, he needed to cry tears on your shoulders that tasted like remorses, for he had changed the shift with Sabito that night too and the dead body in that room should have been his one.

Giyuu Tomioka x Reader (Walk away)
Okay so, be warned, this is LONG people. I've never posted something this long before but I've been sat in front of this far hours and the words just kept coming. I'm pretty proud of it, I think.
It's an angsty slow born, be warned of cannon-typical gore and violence, as well as cannon-divergence because I said so.
I'd rather fall to hell with you, then live on without you.
That is what you'd promised him years ago now, when he'd pushed you away from the life of pain and death that came with bearing a blade against demons.
You had your own burden to carry, either one of you could have died on any given day. The way Giyuu saw it, he'd lost Sabito in a matter of minutes, he could just as easily lose you.
You, with your breath-taking smile and quick tongue, carrying a charisma that no one seemed able to resist.
You were both young slayers, freshly out of final selection and carrying swords newly bearing your colours.
You confused Tomioka beyond belief, how bright and loud you still were despite what you'd just survived. No one comes out of final selection emotionally unscathed, but you acted like life had more in store for you than decades of killing and bloodshed.
Tomioka was addicted to that shine at first, part of him wanted to protect it, the rest, dreaded the day it faded, as he was sure it would.
The world is not kind to those who do not follow it's rules, and you followed no rule in the book. Even your fighting style was out of the box and wild, at times unpredictable or downright unruly.
But, for every mission he took on with you, every time you crossed each other's paths on your way through life, he got addicted to your presence.
Over the years you grew, your brightness grew quieter. No longer an unruly teen, you became a loveable rogue of a Hashira, your smile now a reassurance to those who relied on you for protection, but no amount of change would make him forget that day.
He'd been sent to a deserted village, where a demon had terrorised the townsfolk for weeks, a demon, who claimed to be in the running for the 12 kizuki.
He knew this demon was powerful the moment he stepped into the village's confines, the hair at the nape of his neck stood on end, raising gooseflesh down his arms as the stillness in the air screamed just how wrong this place was.
So much death here, so many ghostly screams waiting to be heard.
He stopped at the gates, and turned to you. For once, you were silent, your eyes ahead and smile absent. You had sensed it to, with your irritatingly good perception for death, and the demons that caused it.
'You should go back for reinforcements.' A young man caught himself saying, unable to restrain the urge to protect the nearest thing he had to a friend. 'This is probably more than we can handle.'
It should have been, the two of you were barely ranked kanoe, and this feels like a demon for a pillar to deal with.
Your deep concentration broke to fix him with an incredulous look, brows pinching as though you'd tasted something bitter. 'Shove off, we both know I'm not going anywhere but forward. Now come on, let's kill this thing.'
Panic made his breath hitch dangerously in his throat, and he realised that fighting beside you was going to be impossible soon. He cared too much, and if just watching you walk toward danger is enough to break total concentration breathing, then if something were to actually happen to you, he doesn't know what he'd do.
Without thinking, he snatched your wrist before you could get ahead of him, eyes hooded by his wild raven hair.
'(Y/N), please...I'm going to walk in there, please, don't follow me.'
'Why?' It's not because he thinks you're weak, you know he doesn't. You've been training together since final selection, fighting demons together, patching each other up, drifting apart only to be put back together soon after. Neither of you has ever been afraid for the other, not when you're apart.
Giyuu knows your skills at least match his, on you best day, you probably outclass him, but...he can't let go of your wrist. He can't walk into danger with you again without his heart feeling like a block of ice in his chest, chilling the very air in his lungs until it hurts to breathe.
His panic doesn't make sense to you, surely he feels what you do? Surely he sees the way you two work together, like a clock's mechanism, endless and thorough.
Surely he sees that you're unstoppable together, sees that facing down hell with him at your side doesn't scare you one bit?
When next he looks into your eyes, it's with the bottomless depths of cobalt you've grown to love, hopelessly, and you realise that, no, he does not see that.
He's petrified, frozen in fear of walking on with you. He doesn't feel supported by you, he feels crippled.
The realisation strikes you in the chest with the force of a horse's kick, stealing the air you desperately need and tearing your heart from your chest.
Before you know it, tears have risen to your eyes as hurt and betrayal clouds your mind. This is not what you need, and you could have sworn you heard the demon lurking in the murky village behind you laugh in mockery at the two young slayers, having a teenage crisis at its doorstep.
Young love, some people spoke of it so wistfully. To Giyuu, it felt crippling, now more than ever. The thought of losing you imobilised him, it didn't matter how strong you were, he was weak to the thought of your absence.
Maybe if he'd known then what he'd know five years later, he might have had the balls to walk beside you, to see the faith you had in him, the loyalty you bore in your heart for him and him alone.
If he'd known, he would have chosen a death at your side a thousand times, rather than what came next.
'I'd have walked into hell at your side sooner than live on alone, did you know that?' He'd never looked more selfish to you, a boy you'd never thought any sort of ill of, a slayer you admired beyond what words could describe.
A man you loved so much your heart could not contain it, now looked to you a selfish prick who chose the easy route over you.
Even if all he'd ever given you was silent companionship, it was enough. Enough that he let you near the quiet moments, let you listen to the few words he said, shared his pain, his convictions with you.
It was enough, it would always have been enough. Had you really been asking too much?
You freed yourself from him and marched ahead. You left him the choice. Contradict his words and follow, go back to being your partner into everything this cruel world had to offer, or shrink away, and cut loose the fear of losing you before his eyes.
Giyuu hadn't followed, and in doing so, lost you in a way far more painful than death.
There is nothing in life he regrets more than turning and running from that gate, unwilling to watch you die, unable to stomach fighting beside you and being responsible for keeping you alive. He'd have been no help to you at that moment he couldn't find his breathing no matter how hard he tried.
Before he'd found help, your crow flew overhead, announcing loud and clear.
"The White Ghost Demon is dead! The Demon is Dead! No casualties! Slayer (L/N) (Y/N) and Tomioka Giyuu have slain the Village Hunter!"
Giyuu almost fell on his face, gaping at the crow, which was already far ahead of him, flying for headquarters no doubt. You'd made your crow lie for him, so he'd never be reprimanded for leaving a fellow slayer to fight alone.
That was you last act of friendship to him.
For the following year, he could not have found you if he'd tried. He told himself it was for the best; never before had he been so crippled by fear and panic, and he swore never to let it happen again.
He trained to the bone and made a name for himself, burying his head in the proverbial sound for years, until he completed hashira training, and finally lifted his eyes to the world.
That was when he saw you. Five years older, knelt before the master, your power and grace rolling off you in waves to rival Tengen's flamboyancy.
You were a sight to behold, young among the pillars and absolutely adored by the corps. It was as though he were looking at a different person, wearing your face, but older.
Gone was your baby-faced bubbly smile, in its place was a roguish grin that softened to a comforting simper among the junior members you took pride in sponsoring and protecting.
You were toned now, carried yourself on soundless steps while the sway of your hips drew the eye.
You'd been promoted to Hashira the year before him, how had he not heard of that?
With your return to his life, he was ready to feel the irreparable panic grip his chest all over again, but it didn't. In its place was pain, a pain like no other as you didn't acknowledge him once.
You were polite enough not to arouse suspicion, but never once met his gaze, never once graced him with the kind of beaming smile you flashed anyone else who spoke to you.
To all the world, it looked like you'd just met a total stranger, and Giyuu knows it's what he deserves.
He knows now what he did, knows what you were trying to show him.
He'd been a coward, and a blind one at that, for missing the trust you had in him. You weren't some ignorant ball of sunshine as he'd sometimes taken you for a fool, you knew what your fate would likely be.
You'd gone about life with a smile, because you wouldn't live on your knees in fear of a death you couldn't avoid, and you'd chosen to do it at his side, because you saw him as someone worth fighting and dying beside.
Why had it taken him this long to see the honour you'd been sharing with him? Why did he have to throw away someone who may well have been his soulmate before realising that you'd put your heart in his hands for him to crush?
He's sure it's too late now, too late for regrets...but dear god every time you smile at the others the way you used to smile at him he swears he could drop to his knees.
The other Hashira are not blind, and it's Tengen who approaches you, observant as he is.
'You and the quiet guy, you know each other from before, right?'
You sat straighter behind your desk, you'd been writing a letter to a friend when the Sound Pillar joined you in your home. His visits aren't unusual anymore, he and his wives like to make themselves at home in your estate.
'What gives you that idea?' You wondered, tone carefully even, knowing he could hear even the slightest change in tone, any hint of change would tip him off.
All things considered, you needn't have bothered trying. Tengen knows you too well.
'The fact that he looks at you like you stole the stars outta the sky. I mean, I get the looking, you're pretty flashy if I do say so myself, but for him to notice? Something's up.'
You sighed, and closed your ink well. This conversation is clearly not going away, and it's one that you should have had with someone long ago. You've never told a soul what happened at that gate, not even other slayers who'd once seen you and Giyuu as inseparable.
None of those slayers are alive today, and the memory of your time with the current water pillar seemed to have been buried with them.
Until now, when he came barrelling back into your life like a silent hurricane. He'd been handsome enough as a teen, did he really need to get prettier? His beauty was akin to that of a sculpture crafted by an angel's own hands, if only the wounds he'd left in your heart didn't cut so deep.
Tengen placed himself across your desk, arms folded, waiting. He knows you too well, gets on with you too well. Neither of you is afraid of being heard, nor do you care what others think of your lifestyle, there's always been a quiet sort of respect between you, as you've now learned, is the way Tengen honours those he idolizes most.
You and Rengoku sat at the top of that list, but you know he's got no great love for Tomioka. Not flashy enough, they could not have been more different.
'I knew him, when we were young. Fresh out of final selection.' You began to explain, willing your eyes onto the view of your garden through the open screens. 'He was such a stick in the mud, I remember thinking he looked so sad, it drove me nuts that he never cracked a smile.'
Tengen watched as something he's never seen before overtook your face: nostalgia.
Open, kind, charismatic as you are, you've never opened up about your past, not even remotely. To the point that no one really knew anything about you other than your mother had died a slayer.
'You were friends?' He prompted when it looked as though you were debating whether or not to continue. 'With that guy?'
All at once, years of memories came flooding back to you. The time you'd complained so much about the heat that Giyuu had pushed you into a lake, it was the first time you saw him laugh.
The time you stumbled across him after being alone for a fortnight and shared your rations with him because he had none.
The countless times you'd tended each other's wounds, knowing what was needed without a word. He could tell you a thousand words with a glance, oh how many times you'd pulled off coordinated attacks in battle without so much as a whisper.
It was a connection unlike anything you'd ever had, growing up alone with you father, and in the years since you'd lost it, the pain of that lost had barely dulled.
Time would not heal this, you knew, and thus your eyes stung with tears long overdue.
Tengen almost lost his breath. He's never seen you cry, never so much as sniffle! Watching you vehemently hold back emotion was something he never thought he'd see unless he caught you on your death bed!
With words so quiet, a voice so delicate he thought you'd shatter like a thin sheet of ice, you whispered keenly to his sensitive ears.
'He was all I had.'
As much as Tengen wanted to ask how you got yourself stuck with that character-less slip of a man without an ounce of flamboyancy in him, he knew he couldn't, because somehow, somewhere, you'd given your heart to that man, and he trusted your judgement in all things, including this.
You pressed your lips together to keep them from wobbling, you hated crying, and deepened your total concentration to keep the tears back, forcing your body into an adrenaline rush to push back those tears.
You would not cry over this again.
'That's not healthy you know?' Tengen's tone was smooth, gentle without patronising you, he knows you'd punch him for such a transgression.
'I'll live.' You told him, as you always did when you came back battered. That hadn't happened in a while, these days.
Tengen chuckled warmly, pinning you with the smile that made most men envy him, and most women swoon. 'I know you will. So, what happened?'
With a deep sigh, you let your body relax, and accept the painful memory, let it stab into you without argument. That pain lanced through your chest, radiating to the very tips of your fingers, but your eyes stayed dry this time.
'He made a choice.' You muttered, at first unsure how to explain such a thing without implicating the new Hashira as a coward. 'In the end, he wasn't willing to fight beside me.'
'Too afraid he'd lose you?' Tengen concluded, earning a solemn nod. 'And you, you would have died beside him, rather than lived on alone?'
It's not the sort of question he would normally ask. He's told his own wives to prioritize their own lives above any mission, but he knows you don't abide by those priorities.
You were not without a self-preservation instinct, but in your mind, being a demon slayer would be the death of you. Being that you'd guaranteed yourself a gruesome death with this choice, you chose to live a good life, a proud life. It's what Tengen admires most in you.
What you'd done, was give Tomioka the highest of honours: you'd given him your loyalty. You'd have walked into battle with Muzan Kibutsuji himself if Giyuu were at your side.
'What kind of an idiot walks away from that?'
Your eyes shot up to Uzui's. His tone is still even and natural, but even you can hear a difference, and see that rage in his eyes, simmering beneath the carmine surface.
'Don't.' You pleaded, though you didn't know what for. 'I didn't tell you this so you could hate him any more than you already do.'
Tengen levelled his gaze with yours, taking in the set of your jaw, the underlying panic. You'd likely just shared the most vulnerable moment of your life with him, he's got no right to ruin it with his own anger.
'I don't hate him,' he attempts to placate you, but your brows furrow at him, 'never said I liked him, but I don't hate him. And as for you, I think you handle yourself pretty damn well around someone who did what he did.'
You sighed, dropping your head into your hands, rubbing your temples. 'All of the others have noticed, haven't they?'
'We're the pillars, (Y/N). Not the easiest bunch to fool.'
'Joy.' You drawled, stubbornly averting your eyes back to the garden. 'You heard none of this.'
Tengen chuckled again, breathing out his own uproar over your case. He knows you're hurting, and he doesn't want you too, not when you've got such a good outlook on life. It's a waste of your time to be frowning.
'I sure didn't. I'll see ya tomorrow, troublemaker.'
He patted your head on his way out, leaving you to your freshly unlocked memories that you frankly could have gone without reliving ever again.
The peace and quiet of your garden made a mockery of the turmoil in your head, locking you behind your eyes for the remainder of the day, oblivious to how keenly Giyuu noticed your absence more and more keenly with each day.
Every time he saw you and knew he could not have you, something in him cracked and broke, feeling the lack of something he didn't know mattered as much as it did.
The tension is killing him inside, but he tucks it firmly away without knowing what the hell else to do with it. You'd made jokes about his "emotional constipation" as younger slayers, if only he'd known to listen to you.
Shinobu caught on to his dilemma and syphoned the information out of Tengen. Not even a shinobi was immune to the insect pillar's interrogation techniques, especially not when she knows he's the only one you would have told anything at all about what's going on.
Infuriatingly, and you and Giyuu have one thing in common, your love of privacy. Flamboyant and proud as you are, you are simultaneously tight lipped.
Shinobu doesn't get much from Tengen, he would die before incurring your full wrath, death would be kinder. Only that you and the water pillar had a significant friendship before something went horribly wrong.
The insect pillar used this information carefully when she and Tomioka were dispatched on a mission together.
'You know, I'm pretty sure (Y/N)'s seen the looks you send them all the time.' She sang sweetly, hopping on river rocks delicately while the water pillar searches for a place to make camp on the bank. The demon they'd been sent to deal with had been dead hours ago, now came the long walk home. 'I've never seen you two talk, but (Y/N)'s so outgoing, I'm surprised they haven't gotten to you.'
She watched his back as he visibly flinched, and she knows she's got him.
'They look at you too, you know?'
That forced his attention off the fire he's trying to start, hands growing still over the kindling.
'What do you want, Shinobu?'
'Oh, nothing.'
He waited for her to say more, but she remained mercifully silent, watching the water flow downstream with a wistful hum fluttering from her throat, and Giyuu rolled his eyes.
In a way, travelling with her reminds him of you, apart from the glaring difference that unlike you, Shinobu does not heed his need for silence.
He used to love listening to you talk, often you'd have observations to share about the world around you, how clear skies brought cold nights. Sometimes you'd spot animals and stop to point them out to him. You saw so much beauty in a world he couldn't fathom loving as much as you seemed to.
No, travelling with Shinobu is nowhere near as comfortable as traveling with you was.
Beyond his notice, the insect pillar was now watching him attentively, paying close attention to how he'd relaxed into nostalgia. Hell, was he smiling?
That did it. Something was to be found here, and she was determined to deal with this little secret if it was the last thing she did.
She concocted a plan to enlist Mitsuri if necessary and find out whatever was causing the tension between you, but before she could even think of putting that plan into action, the two of them returned to find you and Rengoku gone.
The Mugen train had gone awfully wrong, you'd been in the area and sent in at the last moment as reinforcements.
Word got back the next day, that both you and the flame Hashira were critically wounded, the crow didn't seem to know if either of you would make it to the butterfly estate alive.
All at once, all the colour, all the life in the world, drained from Tomioka's face.
Dead. All he heard that crow say, was that you were dead, or about to be.
Upper Moon Three, Akaza, had beaten Kyojuro to death while the Flame Hashira protected a train full of injured passengers, and then taken you out when you'd charged in to save him.
Two pillars knocked out in one fell swoop, it was a devastating blow to the corps...but Giyuu didn't give a rat's ass about the corps.
Your name, your smile, your eyes, the smell of your hair on the breeze, all of it flashed behind his eyes on repeat as his mind pummelled him with the fact that he may never, ever, see you again.
You'd reached the butterfly estate, barely breathing, but Rengoku was more critical than you, Shinobu would have to work on him first.
No one slept that night, least of all Giyuu. All hands were on deck at the butterfly estate, including his. Even though all he could do was solemnly carry linens and bandages back and forth to be watched.
All three of Tengen's wives had joined the denizens of Shinobu's home, helping heal those wounded in the massacre, leaving Shinobu focused on trying to keep the two pillars alive.
He caught a glimpse of you there, bloodied almost beyond recognition. Tanjiro said you'd jumped in so fast that you'd almost taken Akaza's head off in the first blow, the young slayers were in awe of you.
Here, laid in your own blood, hair a spidery mess, staining the white pillow with your own blood, the sight of you made something in Tomioka bleed. It doesn't take much thought to know it's his heart.
"Everyone dies eventually, right?" You'd once said, fifteen, cherub cheeked and eager. "My mother died for a reason, she was protecting people. I've decided that if I have to live without her, then I'll live a life worth living, and if I have to die, it'll be for a reason as good as hers!"
If you died there, on that bed, away from your home, your family, was he supposed to be happy for you? It's the kind of death you wanted, protecting people, your soul may well be sat in that chair beside your body, watching everyone struggle to keep you alive while begging them all to let you go.
You'd done enough, you'd suffered and bled and grieved but...no. He wasn't ready to give you away to death.
If the last time he ever looked you in the eye was the day before he left you, he'd throw himself into hell itself to look you in the eye again and swear to you that he regretted nothing more than his blindness to your love and loyalty.
The estate worked tirelessly well into the next night, and only then did Kocho dare take a step back from your final stitches, having listened to your heart thrum unsteadily for the past ten minutes.
'They'll live, I think. Both of them.'
'You think?' Giyuu couldn't help but press, his eyes fixed on your battered face. Even cleaned up hastily, you looked so very tired. What was the power of an upper moon, to have brutalised you so?
Shinobu laid a hand on his shoulder, an exhausted attempt at comfort. 'I've done everything I can. It's on them now.'
With that, one by one, people began to file out of the room. It felt empty now, two beds on opposite walls, foot to foot, barely a meter between them.
Rengoku still looked as pale as the bandages now covering his left eye, his breath carrying a faint whistle from the severe damage to his chest.
At least it could be heard, proof the hashira hadn't stopped breathing yet.
You, on the other hand, were completely soundless.
Giyuu could not bring himself to leave, slowly shifting to sit on the edge of your bed, your limp hand laying mere inches from his thigh.
So close, yet so far away. You used to drag him around by the hand all the time, shopping in cities, especially when you got hungry.
Your hands were rougher now, skin thickened with callouses from years of wielding a blade. Still, when he cradled your hand between both of his, it felt like home all over again, as familiar and comforting as Urokodaki's cooking.
Limp and pale, your hand hang from his with none of your usual vitality to it, only the faint hint of a pulse at your wrist reminded him that you hadn't died yet.
Shinobu had said it was up to you now, he has to wonder, given the choice, would he come back from this, or would he allow himself to slip into death's embrace?
'Come back,' the plea slipped from his lips before he could think on who might hear. He doesn't care, not when he's gone years in silence. 'Please, please don't leave yet. Come back...you don't need this death yet.'
You remained unmoving, still as the grave, your knuckles dampened as he brought your fingers to his cheek, desperate to ground himself when panic threatened to take him. He let the tears roll onto your skin, waiting for you to wake up and scold him for crying without you.
No one dared ask the water pillar to move from that spot for the day and a half he held that post.
It was a feat of willpower, to be sure. Giyuu sat at your bedside, meditating, your hand held fast in his, as if he was the only thing holding you to this earthly plain.
At some point, all of the pillars visited the room, but granted Tomioka his space as they prayed and hoped for both you and Rengoku to awaken, sound of mind, at the very least.
'I doubt Rengoku will ever walk again.' Shinobu uttered to Aoi, gazing sadly upon the shining light of fire. 'It's a miracle (Y/N) arrived when they did. He'd be dead for sure without them.'
'And (L/N)?'
'I don't know, they took a blow to the head, that worries me more than the damage to their leg.'
Giyuu heard none of it, even if he had, it wouldn't have changed a thing, so long as you still drew breath, he wouldn't leave your side.
By noon of the second day, something changed.
Out of conditioning, habit, or your own subconscious effort, your body slipped into total concentration breathing. Giyuu knows that pattern, memorised it from the nights you spent camping together, it's your own characteristic rhythm, he'd know it anywhere.
Your fingers twitched in his grasp, eyelashes fluttering, as though fighting to open, and he waited with baited breath, periodically squeezing your fingers to help bring you around.
A surge of relief nearly rendered him limp the moment your eyes saw daylight, and squinted, ill-adjusted to the midday sun.
But you were awake, and breathing, consciously, slowly taking in the room until your eyes landed on his.
Those cobalt eyes come as a shock to your system, his is not a face you expected to see as your mind struggles to make sense of your last actions, fighting the upper moon. You'd been reckless in defence of a fellow slayer, you knew that much.
Warmth encompasses your hand, and you know he's holding you when your squeeze his fingers weakly, wordlessly acknowledging his presence.
Avoiding him did not even cross your bleary mind, you'd looked death in the face and said "no, thank you", at that moment your old pains mattered nought, he was there, looking at you with the eyes you could never make yourself hate.
'You're awake, finally.' His voice came raspy with lack of use, and water. 'Do you need something? Should I get Shinobu?'
Slowly, groggily, you shook your head, clinging weakly to three of his fingers with your partly numb had, struggling to get circulation back to where it was needed.
'S-ay.' You managed to huff, clearing your throat. 'Stay.'
Giyuu nodded, scooting closer willingly. He doubted he could have made himself go anywhere if you asked him to. 'I'm here.'
He had no place being the one reassuring you, any one of the others could have done the job better, but he's here, and he doesn't want to leave you.
You opened your mouth, boldly mouthing the question that's been plaguing you for years, forcing it past your battered throat.
'Why, did you leave me, that day?'
All at once, his blood ran cold. He knew you'd ask, you had every right to, and he's thought about the answer a thousand times.
Nothing he could say felt like enough, but just this once, words were unavoidable.
'Because...because I was scared that if I kept going, you'd die beside me. I was scared, of watching it happen.'
You processed his words, clutching his fingers as though he'd disappear if you let go.
Your grip spread warmth over his skin, physical proof that you wanted him there, nowhere else. No one else. Him. You're clinging to him.
'Does it scare you less...' you rasped, pausing for breath as your body screamed at you to shut up and lie still, 'if I die like this?'
'No!' He hadn't meant to raise his voice, it came loose before he knew what he was doing, surging to his feet to hover over you, free hand reaching to cradle your face for fear your eyes would dodge his as they'd done so many times before. 'You were right, again. You were right then, and you're right now. I was scared, and a coward, and I didn't realise what it was you were trying to tell me until I'd walked away.'
You stared up at him for a long moment, cheek sinking into the warmth of his palm, counting your breaths as they see-sawed passed your lips.
'What was I trying to tell you?'
You needed him to say it, needed to hear that he'd actually-
'You loved me.'
Part of that pain slowly healed, your chest felt lighter as you corrected him gently.
'I love you.'
'Even after...(Y/N) you can't forgive me for that.'
You smiled, past pain and oncoming tears that his thumb gently wiped away.
'You let me decide what I can and can't forgive you for, okay hun?'
There it was, that smile you pulled on like it wasn't about to shatter his entire world and send it crashing down onto him. His heart felt three times too big for his chest and threatened to burst through his ribs, crippling him under a surge of adoration.
When had your hands slipped from his and cupped his cheeks, when had you pulled him down to you?
How long had the keys to heaven been found on your lips?
The kiss was a haven, stealing the breath from his lungs as he cautiously sank into your loving embrace.
All at once, he was enveloped in all he things he'd missed. The smell of your hair, the soft hum of your voice as you purred into his clumsy attempts at kissing. Your guidance was patient, loving, fingers eagerly tangling in his thick hair, just as eager to lose yourself in.
Prior to that moment, Giyuu doesn't recall being a religious man, but for you, for your love, he prayed to any god above who'd listen, never to let him walk away from his angel, ever again.

Pairing(s): Kyojuro x reader, Giyuu x reader, Sabito x reader
Category: fluff

A/n: AWA THIS IS SO SWEET

Kyojuro Rengoku
•Rengoku is the definition of a sunshine: warm, bright, illuminating(not literally). He’s also considerate, kind and very, ah, understanding
•So to be his opposite you’d have to be rather distant and cold. And quick to anger as well, i suppose.
•And it’s not that Kyo doesn’t like people like you, it’s just that the both of you are on different wavelengths so many times it’s beginning to become infuriating
•Whenever he comes up with something, you’re countering with your opinions and he really loves people voicing out their thoughts but c’mon just let him have this one-
•So he takes to avoiding you. Rarely speaks to you. No eye contacts.
•But now something else’s wrong because he’s missing the little arguments you two used to have and he- just misses your attention
•The only person he can open up to about his feelings is Mitsuri and that’s exactly what he does
•And our darling love pillar positively gushes that HE’S IN LOVE
•Now, Kyojuro is stumped. Him??? In love???
•He thinks he’d know if he was in love but he doesn’t understand that he’s as dense as a—
•So, armed with advice from Mitsuri, he goes on his way to find you.
•It’s really not romantic. He’d envisioned an entire scenario in his mind of him gallantly approaching you and stuff but in reality you just snap your head up at him with a scowl
•And in his excitement and at the same time, nervousness, he blurts out his feelings for you and that he wishes to be..close to you
•And now you’re stumped because you hadn’t predicted a confession for today
•Noticing your unease(because he would), Kyo would probably back up and state that the both of you can take things slow and it’s totally fine if you don’t reciprocate his feelings, he just wishes to be friends. Really, he’s only dying a little on the inside
•But oh joy oh happiness you love him too! You do ask him to take things slow, however and he’s more than happy to agree
•You’re relationship is a fun one. Senjuro has the time of his life watching Kyojuro talk your ears off while you’re just patiently listening with the smallest amused smile on
•But it’s clear how much you love him. And how much he loves you
•Senjuro’ll never forget the day one of the slayers his aniki was training had the misfortune of insulting the flame pillar and the roasting which they got in return
•Kyojuro takes a little bit of time to understand that at times, you prefer silence and tranquility but when he does, he does his best to not talk too much
•That doesn’t last long because he’s always excited to share something with you. He’s so adorable you can’t even get mad at him
•He does respect your personal space though. He is an awfully affectionate man, but if you’re not a fan of hugs, that’s fine by him
Giyuu Tomioka
•To be Giyuu’s opposite, you’d have to be radiant, outgoing, approachable, talkative. You’d have to have friends
•In other words, you’d have to be like either Kyojuro or Mitsuri.
•Giyuu doesn’t exactly hate you. He just finds you the slightest bit annoying. In the beginning at least.
•Giyuu often has nothing he wishes to say outloud and tends to just blend into the crowd, observing
•And silence is so soothing to him. He doesn’t hate talking either, he just only likes to talk about necessary stuff
•So having you flutter around him like a butterfly talking and talking and just bouncing with energy can get quite..overwhelming
•And not knowing how to deal with it in any better way, he begins to steer clear of you
•This causes you a great deal of distress and you start to wonder if you did something wrong
•You didn’t, he just can’t handle stuff well. But you also begin to try and change to make him more comfortable
•He notices you being quiet all of a sudden, and refraining from patting his head or giving him hugs
•The entire day, he’s conflicted and he can’t even freaking tell it’s because he goddamn misses you. Well, he does get there. Eventually. Just at a later time
•He then realizes that he is touch + affection starved and that he misses you. dearly.
•So he approaches you awkwardly without prepping himself and proceeds to state at you
•And you stare back. because what else are supposed to do you don’t even know what’s going on???
•Finally he musters up enough courage to ask you if you’re okay and though you respond with yes he can tell it’s completely true
•He apologizes for his behavior out of nowhere, saying he shouldn’t have given you the cold shoulder. then he admits to missing you, albeit hesitantly
•And next thing he knows he’s being engulfed in a hug and life’s good
•Life gets even better when you tell him about the feelings you’ve harbored for him for a long time and to your surprise, be feels the same way!
•So now the two of you are a couple and my gosh you’re so cute
•You lift up all of Giyuu’s insecurities and doubt by simply exiting and Sabito and Tsutako are giving you thumbs-up from heaven
•You’re quite literally, a ray of sunlight in his life
•Even though Giyuu still doesn’t talk much, he listens to whatever you have to say and remembers the smallest details
•Like, say you’re telling him about something which you saw in a shop in Asakusa, there’s a high chance you’re gonna have it the next day even though you thought he wasn’t listening
•He soaks in your words, your laughter, your—
•Overall, in spite of Giyuu not being the most affectionate partner, you’re very precious to him and he doesn’t plan on making the same mistake he made that almost caused him to lose you. The real you.
Sabito
•So despite Sabito being sort of bold, he is very strict when it comes to discipline
•In his eyes, swordsmanship is an art that requires all your concentration, therefore if you aren’t close to him you might think he’s a bit like Giyuu. Except he’s louder
•He takes his job very seriously and as such i feel like to be his opposite you’d have to be slightly goofy, and airheaded maybe?
•Sabito has certain qualities which he deems as ‘unmanly’ and though he doesn’t hate others having them, he himself abstains from indulging them. He’s usually quiet when he’s not around Giyuu or Urokodaki and people find him to be rather unapproachable at first
•So if you’re someone who’s sort of a chatterbox and tends to get distracted easily, he’s not gonna like you very much. He’s gonna think you’re not taking the job very seriously
•So then he too steers clear of you. He doesn’t do it in a rude way he just kinda tries his best to not cross paths with you, and if he does then he’s not gonna say much
•So getting tired of his charades, you sort of drift towards someone else, someone who’ll match your personality: mitsuri. Can you tell she’s my favorite
•And now Sabito’s stuck in a vicious internal conflict bc he finds you annoying but he also finds himself missing you and your ramblings dammit
•So, after getting the final push from a Giyuu who’s very much tired of hearing Sabito talk about you, he’s gonna just walk up to you and straight up apologize about his behavior, legit just upfront
•If you forgive him, he’s not gonna confess right away. First because he’s internally sweating bullets cause he’s mega embarrassed but also because he wants to give you time to get comfortable with him
•When the confession does come, he’s extremely red despite the fact that he manages to get it out without a stammer and in a somewhat calm manner
•And now he’s a sucker for whatever you do. The ramblings that he used to find annoying are the ones he waits to listen to when you both spend time together
•Due to the fact that you get easily distracted, he’s gonna always remain on edge bc he’s scared you might end up hurt in battle
•So he’s fiercely protective ye
•The kakushis that work for him are standing at the back sweatdropping while watching you talk his ears off while he has this dopey smile on
•Trace the scar his has on his cheek. DO IT. he’ll melt

I feel like there’s always been a lot of “what-if” questions with KnY, but the biggest one for me is What if Muzan never became a demon? Either by the doctor having successfully curing his illness without demonifying him or if he died early as expected, how would that have changed the course of the character’s history?
HAPPY ENDS FOR EVERYONE BUT KIBUTSUJI MUZAN!!!
--His wives are free from his abuse, the doctor is sad he failed but he goes on to treat many good people, the Ubuyashiki mission-oriented branch of their noble clan doesn't even go on to exist because they just go along their normal merry noble way.
--Tamayo does wind up dying from her illness, but peacefully surrounded by her beloved family. Yushiro later dies, but more pissed off about it.
--Yoriichi and Uta live happily ever after. The Kamados move into an abandoned house down the road and their descendants are fruitful and forever happy neighbors. There was one time when Yoriichi was away looking for a midwife that Uta was almost killed by a wild animal, but a swordsman out there in the quiet of nature practicing his family's flame inspired sword techniques saves her, and he and his family also also become good friends of the Mt. Kumotori simple folk.
--Michikatsu goes on to have an illustrious samurai career and have illustrious descendents. Muichiro and Yuichiro therefore live in the city and go to a fancy private school where they are popular geniuses. It goes to their heads sometimes, though.
--Douma eventually dies an old cult leader without many complaints. Hakuji committed terrible acts, but he was then adopted by a new master, a swordman named Rengoku, who guided him in doing the work to amend his ways. Lots of very angry meditation before Hakuji ever finds enough peace with himself to enjoy gardening and tending koi ponds again.
--Gyutaro and Daki do indeed meet a sad end, but they meet a hypnotist who at least lets them see happy dreams as they die. They get reincarnated into kinder circumstances, albeit Gyutaro always feels a lot of jealousy for people who have things better than him and he'll probably bring about his own downfall again unless Ume steps in and stops him, because she knows he's kinder than that.
--Himejima has a happy family life with his orphans, and remains skin and bones. He eventually had to kick Kaigaku out for causing trouble, though. Himejima cried a lot over having the do that.
--Kaigaku is adopted by an old man who takes him in to train him in... say... electricity. Yes, Jiichan is now the Japanese Nicola Tesla and wants to make Kaigaku into a brilliant scientist. He recruits Zenitsu for the same task and Kaigaku is jealous. Zenitsu gets zapped in the lab.
--Urokodaki was a regular Edo ronin. After the Meiji Restoration, he started an orphanage. Makomo still lives there happily, Sabito has grown up and, uh, joined the military. Because Giyuu is so influenced by his childhood friend he winds up doing the same. Tsutako is happily married.
--Inosuke's out there doing his forest thing but eventually finds himself on the neighboring mountain making friends with the Tsugikuni and Kamado kids. This was after a brief stint being adopted by Himejima, but Himejima was too weak-willed in nicely asking Inosuke to behave, and he was heartbroken with worry when Inosuke wandered off. He saw Inosuke more like a stray cat than a human child.
--The Kochou girls attend a fancy school, Kanae has lots of offers for marriage but Shinobu is disinterested. They came across a girl on a bridge who was getting taken into slavery and brought her home. Aoi, having been sent away from her family home to do domestic work so as to earn money for her family (as was common in the day), works in the Kochou home. Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho happily grow up in their own families and are squeamish at the sight of blood, what with the lack of having to be exposed to it.
--Mitsuri's family takes a vacation out for an island holiday. Mitsuri was hoping for a romantic encounter but finds it odd that there are so many women. While starving herself and she gets dizzy and wanders off and gets hopelessly lost until she encounters a boy with a snake around his shoulders and two different eye colors, in a total separate part of the vacation mansion. He's alarmed that she's so faint and gives her the rich food he didn't have the stomach to touch, she comes back to life and cheerfully thanks him, and then they start chatting, and she's the best thing that's ever come into his sheltered rich boy world, and they have a whirlwind romance which involves her courageously using her strength to beat off his family and free him to join her on the mainland so that they can live happily ever after.
--Uzui and wives become vigilantes. Flamboyant vigilantes. Uzui leans into this personality and the newspaper are always filled with the latest exploits of that mysteriously flamboyant man, taking down corrupt officials and beating up criminals in back alleys. Nezuko is a huge fan and on a long awaited and saved-up for trip to try to meet him, she finds herself in trouble (it's easy to get disoriented in the big city, after all), and Zenitsu comes to her rescue and tazors the perps. It's love at first sight for both of them, and they start a long-distance letter writing relationship. Tanjiro is concerned that this boy Nezuko is writing to might be embellishing things.
--Life's been a lot better for the Shinazugawas since their pops got stabbed. The children have all started earning money once they're old enough, but Sanemi wants them to continue their educations, so he joins the military. He winds up getting in fights with Giyuu and Sabito but eventually they all become friends. Genya eventually tries to join too once the younger kids need less care and looking after, but Sanemi doesn't take kindly to that. Kanae becomes a volunteer nurse in the military and meets them all this way.
--In case it's not clear, the Rengoku family maintains the generations of bonds so Kyojuro and Senjuro and Shinjuro pay regular visit to Mt. Kumotori. Kyojuro teaches Tanjiro kendo.
--One day Tanjiro is strolling around the mountain and he sees mysterious blue spider lilies. "Those are nice," he says, and then no one ever pays a second thought to the flowers ever again.

Sweet Like Cinnamon
hi lovelies! still currently on my giyuu and rengoku brainrot and I have a lot of drafts I finally touched up that I’m excited to post again!! but for now, here’s a little drabble that I’ve been working on!
Ft. Giyuu Tomioka, fem!reader
Tumblr media
She smells like cinnamon, he thought, eyes following your figure as you walked past in deep conversation with the Fire Pillar, the Love Pillar only several paces behind. The pink-haired woman had been waiting on her serpent counterpart, waving Obanai and his snake down from a ways away. Though he’d positioned himself to where he’d be less than noticeable, a small part of him hoped you’d see him as you turned around to beckon Obanai.
You usually smelled sweet to Giyuu Tomioka, his eyes softening slightly when you’d lean in to listen to him. His words were frugal and less than lively, but there was just something about you that kept words spilling off his tongue. Maybe it was that spicy scent that lingered whenever you were near, the hints of sugary vanilla that intoxicated his brain, the same one that made his heart pound.
“Tomioka!” You called with a smile, “I have a question!” His eyes widened as you barreled towards him, skidding to a halt just before hitting the man. “If you had five more minutes to live, what would you do?”
To say he was taken aback was an understatement. Not only were you living proof that he was not, in fact, hated by everyone, but you were actually quite nice to be around. Still, he couldn’t tell where your mind was. Were you planning to do something within the next five minutes that could compromise his life? He didn’t want to believe that was true, you were sunshine wrapped in a pretty package, but as a Hashira, he could never be too cautious. With every cinnamon-sugar thought that crossed his mind, he could only seem to focus on your alluring smell. “But I don’t have five more minutes. I’m in good health.”
“It is a hypothetical scenario, Giyuu! I have noticed how you are bad at answering these kinds of things!” Rengoku called from a ways away, perennial smile plastered to his face.
Shinobu was sure to tease him about that later, especially if both you and Mitsuri were giggling at the Fire Pillar’s comment. He wanted nothing more than to pull back into his comfortable shell, dreaming to be civil - perhaps even friends - with the rest of the Hashira. As you tried laughing off the intensity of his gaze, noting how electrifying his eyes truly were, he furrowed his brows.
“Only five minutes?”
“Only five.”
With utter nonchalance, he glanced off into the distance. “I would probably sit with you.”
You blinked several times; Giyuu presumed you’d been expecting a different answer. And though your smell of cinnamon lulled, your aura brightened. It was always lavender, he thought, now it’s gold.
“Tomioka…” For a moment, as your eyes softened, he longed for your touch, wishing to get just close enough to where you’d squish his cheeks and laugh at his surprise. “We do that already!” You finally retorted, scrunching up your nose with a smile.
“I know. It’s calming,” he admitted. “What would you do?”
Without hesitance, you grinned. “Pray that in our next life, we’re born into a peaceful world where no one has to suffer. I want everyone to be happy.” You were so genuine, so gentle. He felt wickedly selfish that a thought so selfless didn’t cross his mind. How ruined had he become? How bitterly distant and cold? What would his mother and father say; what about Sabito and his sister? “And,” your voice snapped him out of his self-depreciation, “I’d pray that I get to be with you in every lifetime.”
His eyes dilated. Young and naive, hopelessly in love with a cinnamon-scented sunshine girl — that’s all Giyuu Tomioka was. “I admire your wishes…” Averting his crystalline gaze from your own, a pit formed in his stomach. You pitied him. You must’ve. This must have been a sick joke, just a ploy to make everyone else laugh. You couldn’t seriously mean what you were saying. Right?
“If we weren’t demon slayers, I’d marry you in an instant!” Your voice splintered through his brain, bulldozing every wall, ripping down every layer, leaving only the barren bones of his love. Fully consumed and captivated by all of you, the moment you took his hands in your own, he could have sworn he saw flashes of a distant future.
Giyuu breathlessly squeezed his eyes shut in embarrassment. You were so…direct! How could someone so modest and sweet be so open with their feelings? “The feeling’s mutual,” he whispered.
You cocked your head and blinked up at him. “I’m sorry, Tomi’! I didn’t quite hear you!”
Obanai and Mitsuri were in love, Sanemi swore to find Kanae in another life, Tengen had four wives; Giyuu was behind yet again. Sabito would have confessed to you by now, he would’ve known that he loved you instantly. Who wouldn’t love you? You pranced around the Ubuyashiki Estate after Hashira meetings with your heart on your sleeve and smile on your face; you were warm rain on a cool summer night, a sky full of stars for Tomioka’s lonesome eyes to gaze upon. He huffed - he won’t be late for the love of his life, not this time.
“He is so quiet! I always have to ask him to speak up too, do not fret my dear—!” Rengoku shouted again, Mitsuri quickly covering his mouth with her hands as she observed the two of you.
A smile painted his face a pretty shade of blue, the same blue of his eyes, the eyes you fell so ardently in love with. “I promise to come home from every mission for you.” Though he wasn’t as straightforward as you, you knew that was his special way of saying that he felt the same. And as he brought your hands to his heart, he took a shaky breath in. “And I know it might not be unscathed, I can’t promise that,” he began, “but I—”
Your body pressed flush against him in a hug, his words falling flat. “I’ll marry you one day, Tomioka. I mean it. Even if it has to be in our last five minutes.”
His heart was wholly yours, a pang in his chest overwhelming his senses as you pulled away. “Wait, don’t leave. Did you plan on courting me just to leave? Or…I’m very...confused. Are we courted now? I should be the one to court you— Do you want me to court you?”
He spoke so cluelessly that you couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh, Tomioka!” Pinching his cheek affectionately, you continued, “Come eat dinner with us, Kyojurou made your favorite.”
You were gorgeous and a fighter, you were joyful - even if Giyuu knew the stronger the smell of cinnamon was, the more exhausted you’d become, you were you. And Giyuu loved you! In his pouty and gloomy, yet tender, quiet-loving kind of way, he vowed to always choose you. Letting his hand fall into yours, he gave a curt nod and followed behind you anxiously.
Mitsuri squealed as he placed his hand in yours, jumping ecstatically as the two of you made your way over together. “Oh yes! Yes, she did it! I knew you could do it! I knew she could do it!”
“I’ll kill you if you hurt her,” Obanai hissed curtly, despite the flushed pink spreading across his cheeks. Giyuu’s brows quirked at the confliction of his actions and words; was Iguro being nice? The Water Pillar knew the dislike the Serpent Pillar held for him, but he always was well aware the fondness the latter held for you.
“Iguro,” you chastised, hand resting on your hip, “don’t be like that.”
“I think it is actually very spectacular that Giyuu and you have decided to pair! Hopefully she will help you speak louder, Tomioka!” Rengoku boomed, laughing as he clapped the both of your shoulders. “Let us eat now, I am absolutely starved!”
The strong, spicy scent of cinnamon suddenly hit Tomioka once more as your head rested affectionately on his arm. He froze up as you did so, the content smile on your face making his heat up. The laugh that trickled from your lips seemed to make his chest swell with an admiration, one that was gentle, one that was shy and lovely. “So, we’ll eat first,” he mumbled, “and get married later.”
He nodded in agreement with his words, the corner of his lips quirking upwards. You bit your laughter back as you watched Giyuu talk to himself, squeezing his hand lovingly as you pulled away, rushing ahead of him to practically tackle Rengoku to the ground.
And even with the storm in the back of your throat and gleeful laughter that escaped your lips, Giyuu Tomioka was glad he had this lifetime with you.

hellooo miss squiggles :D how have you been? i hope the universe treats you kindly ♡ (also i got your request and i'm so excites to write it thank you sm!!)
i'm here to bring you more modern demon slayer because i wanna get back into it and also my car has decided to be difficult these past few days so i thought about how the kny peeps would deal with that.
not affected by car troubles: gyomei (for obvious reasons), douma (failed his driver's license four times so there's that), rengoku (something tells me he doesn't drive)
that might as well happen: giyuu (long sigh, then he calls sabito to pick him up and lets the mechanic deal with it), obanai ("that's just another bad thing on the long list of bad things that life has thrown at me." - "dude shut up")
OMG WE'RE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE: mitsuri (not cut out for this)
THERE'S LITERALLY A MCDONALDS DOWN THE ROAD CALM DOWN AND LET ME DO MY SHIT: sanemi (learned how to fix his motorcycle on his own after he saw what the mechanics charged)
gets so mad that they scare the car into working again: shinobu (she just taps the wheel twice and clears her throat and the car runs as smoothly as ever), akaza (the good old trick of kicking the car into submission never disappoints)
the best possible person to deal with car troubles: kanae (keep calm and call someone who can fix this), sabito (this man works with elementary school children, if his car broke down in the middle of the desert with no water on board that wouldn't even make his top 10 list of most stressful events of his life)
oh the car broke down? don't worry baby we'll buy a new one: tengen.
Rey! It's great to hear from you again! :D I've been well- some ups and downs IRL but generally speaking I feel great! I hope the same to you! The universe so far has been tame- let's hope it stays that way lols. (YESH! I'm so glad akrekjjrkaejj :D Congrats again on your milestone!)
(Ah crap! I'm sorry about your car- hopefully everything works out!)
KJERKJEKRJKEJR The fact they're all in the same car (sans Sabito I'd imagine cause someone's gotta come pick them up) reacting to this is hilarious akljeajkerjkaejr Road trip gone wrong?
Giyu and Obanai being the "Hello darkness my old friend" people of the group is so canon kjaraekrkejajkraejkrjkejr Obanai probably wouldn't be so bad if Mitsuri was there but when she does go off with Tengen and Rengoku to get her food he gets all blue and gloomy about everything akerjakrjearje (The "Dude, shut up" took me out! I can see Sanemi rolling his eyes behind the hood over it akerkjaerjkej)
NOT SHINOBU HELP KJEJREJRKJEJKRJK Like you said, a single throat clear- BOOM the car is back up and running. She probably scares the mechanics out of overcharging her too- a single one of her scary smiles and their offering discounts and additions for free (everyone brings her to the shop with them when they can- she's outwardly so over it but internally pleased with the chaos she creates). And Akaza kicking it into submission karjeajklrkjeawkjrjke I can see Douma lounging in the backseat slurping on a gas station slushie watching Akaza beat his car up. "Go between the headlights- it'll blind them Za!" "Give them that one move you showed me the other day!" "You're winning-" "DOUMA IF YOU DON'T-"
Kanae and Sabito being team "We've got this" is honestly such canon events! Kanae and Sanemi might have some mild tension ("Baby, it's not your bike, it's your car. It's too different." "Don't worry about it- I can fix it!" But after Sanemi stares at things long enough he just kinda peers around the hood all sheepish like: "So uh....you still got that mechanic on speed dial?" Sabito's so chill like: "A kid got 2 markers stuck up one nostril- this is EASY!" He has snacks when he gets there for Mitsuri, a car big enough for everyone if it's a road trip (might bring Makomo and her car in case they got EVERYONE), the tow truck on speed dial and several ideal spots to stop and get dinner if they're hungry akejajrekreakj
TENGEN!!! God, if only kjakakrjejkrejkjre He's got the money for it sure! Honestly he probably hates driving (Big guy + Tiny seats = Screw it I'm walking everywhere) but will gladly get any of his girlfriends/wives a new car if needed. Another one to bring to the mechanic to prevent being screwed over- he's got that unintentional intimidation factor (and the money to cover it lols) He's also such a troll: One time he told Obanai he'd get him so new wheels and pulled up with a toy barbie car. (They ended up regifting it to Mitsuri's younger sister as a christmas present)
For your consideration: Rengoku doesn't drive but he does bike! He's got two: one for personal use to go everywhere ("I'll catch up with you guys! *bike jingle noises*) and one with two seats for when he and Akaza go out (He was absolutely FLOORED when he discovered it and called up Akaza mid purchase like: "Guess what I'm bringing home??? :D") He probably got them matching helmets and protective padding so they'd be the talk of the town when they went out (Akaza doesn't have the heart to tell him they look like that one elderly couple without the years- though it was kinda funny the time said couple challenged them to a race.) He'd have a little basket too filled with snacks and other little things. :D
Thank you for sharing, these are GLORIOUS!

Final Selection
the final selection, in truth, tests more than a demon slayer’s ability to fight demons. they stay atop that mountain for seven days with only the supplies they’ve brought along with them. the worst of tanjirou’s time on the mountain comes that first night, when he slays the demon who killed sabito, makomo, and all the other students of urokodaki. but come morning, the battle doesn’t cease.
tanjirou nibbles on the food he brought with him— he’s hoping to make it last the week, or at least most of it— and then sleeps while the sun is up. night falls, demons attack, rinse and repeat. day comes, but the second day is overcast. thunder rolls in the distance, and there is no sun to chase the demons away. tanjirou does not sleep that day, surrounded on all sides by monsters and murderers.
by the third dawn, he’s nearly dead on his feet. he almost cries when the sun crests over the horizon, causing a pursuing demon to shriek and flee back to the safety of the dense woods. he doesn’t even bother finding shelter this time, simply falling on his back under the cold sun. tall grass sways in a chilling breeze around him, and tanjirou sleeps until sunset.
the days pass much the same, filled with aches and pains from bruises and cuts and empty bellies. the final selection tests more than one’s ability to fight demons, after all. it tests whether there’s more to a person than being a demon slayer. if they have what it takes to tough it out on their own for a week, nothing but the eventual sunrise keeping them safe.
when the week is over, when tanjirou survives and is awarded a place among the demon slayers, he finds himself wondering how many of his fellow test takers were killed not by demons but by the mountain itself? did the boy he saved from the hand demon lose his life to another monster, or did he succumb to hunger, exhaustion, or dehydration?
tanjirou likes to think he ran down the mountain before the week was up, past the barrier of the wisteria and back towards the relative safety of home. better to be a coward than to be dead. it’s wishful thinking, probably.
-
man final selection’s kinda crazy. seven whole days on top of a mountain? did any of those kids actually bring food or were they planning on just winging it? i think about it.

su au lets fucking goooooo
edit: TUMBLR ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS. WHY THE FUCK DO YOU SCRAMBLE SHIT WHEN I USE A READ MORE YOURE A FUCKING CUNT GOOD LORD
edit2: it added the edit but not the fucking read more. im tired
i had the brush set too small at first & didnt realize until i was already too far along- full body diamond authority is ok w the shaded fit & wings but the headshot is just. eh. kinda dislike it. im fucking obsessed with the other headshot tho
giyuu's a lapis along w tsutako, normal lapis terraforming job but some shit went down, tsutako got shattered, giyuu was left to fend for herself until she ran into a lost kunzite fresh out the ground (she had a slight imperfection, showed up as a spot along her cheek (corner of mouth to center base of ear) that looks like raw kunzite/ yk when a helmet or somethn gets shaved down sliding against a road? that)
they tough it out in the wilds for a while, they got attacked and accidentally fused to defend themselves, kept fusing when they were in trouble after that- yadda yadda meet makomo (also a gem) & sakonji and learn how to be their own person, getting their own names (giyuu got Giyuu, the kunzite got Sabito) and meeting a group of other rogue gems & making human friends
sabito got particularly interested in the concept of human masculinity & highly respected the closest man she knew, sakonji- transed his gender & chose to dedicate himself to protecting those he cares about. giyuu is very close to him and also changed pronouns & vibes bc sabito loved it so much, though he doesnt really care about human perceptions of gender (hes a pretty rock made of light, the fuck does he need a gender for? (sabito doesnt see it that way, he never got indoctrinated/had a formal gem education or whatever, so hes just vibin))
something something giyuu found a way to precisely control water, and what is ice if not Structured Water. sabito never got whatever his job as a kunzite was, but he has a similar ability as Pearl where hes able to summon a blade from his gem (rectangular cut, back of his left hand). when theyre fused they become Hawk's Eye (also know as blue tiger's eye), able to both control water(& subsequently ice) and form blades along his arms and feet; the blades on his feet allow him to ice skate, the blades on his arms are attached at two points on the forearm and is curved over the hand- the blade's allowed to spin around the arm, tip of the blade is at the point of rotation so itll be in the same spot above the hand no matter what side of the arm its on

thank you 🩵
Important announcements!!
I have two more requests after this one!! One from a weekish ago that I’ll work on next (should be done by the end of november) and one that I just got :p In december I’ll probably shut requests down until the new year (as in not taking new requests, anything that gets in before then is fine).
Ty for the request!! Sorry it took me so long (´;ω;`) I’ve been working on a lot of projects lately </3 But I hope you enjoy (*≧∀≦*)
★彡☆彡★彡
Giyuu didn’t enjoy returning to Urokodaki’s home. It wasn’t that he didn’t care for his teacher, but the memories that lingered within the small cabin were sometimes overwhelming. He felt small inside the place.
It was worse now. In the middle of the night he still couldn’t find sleep. Giyuu knew he’d regret staying up the next day, though it wasn’t like he was doing this on purpose.
Rising he thought it’d be best to go for a walk. The mountains were bitter with coldness but there was nothing else he could attempt. Urokodaki’s futon lied a foot or two away from his own, he didn’t want to make the man angry.
With soft and careful feet he slipped on his tabi and slid the door open.
Already frost was building on the grass outside. It was barely autumn but the mountains moved with their own whims. A harsh wind pushed through his pajamas. Giyuu pushed on regardless, tracing a familiar trail woven from years of training.
He took it higher up the mountain. Not high enough to let the cold get worse but enough to watch the trees grow stronger and thicker. Occasionally he was wrought with memories from training, recognizing a groove where a tripwire had been pinned or dips that marked now filled in pits.
Tomioka remembers cold like this before meeting Urokodaki (and Sabito) too. Back when his sister’s body had barely gone limp and he didn’t know how to do anything other than run and hide. The older man had found him curled up beneath overgrown tree roots. Laying there was barely any better than just embracing his fate unprotected.
The memory shakes him. It leads to other visions of his sister and sabito and hundreds of other dead children. His stomach flips and Tomioka is forced to the ground before anything can rise into his throat.
Curling up much like he did nearly a decade ago Giyuu tries to still his breathing. On a surface level it works, calming himself physically. His emotions still bubble beneath his skin though. Convinced it’ll go away if he continues the strategic filling of his lungs Giyuu doesn’t stop.
His eyes can only see the dirt below his feet. Sinking to the ground he further distracts himself by paying attention to how the earth moves under his weight. Digging his feet into the mud Tomioka is surprised to see how easy it crumbles as his shoes poke into it. In another week or two the water will have frozen everything on the mountain, it’ll be as hard as rock.
Pushing with his fingers now Giyuu is delighted to find a bit more warmth just under the surface. Dirt will be stuck under his fingernails until the and of time but he doesn’t consider this now. Instead he imagines burying himself beneath the earth until the cold can’t reach him.
“Giyuu.” It seems Urokodaki had taken notice of his absence. “We should go back to the house.” His voice is firm but not unkind. His teacher had always been a master at finding balance between sternness and caring.
Tomioka can’t move his lips or even his body. All he can manage is to lift his fingers out of the ground. He wipes them against his pants, leaving streaks on the light cotton.
Noticing the inaction the elder takes Giyuu’s hand. He lets out a little grunt as he pulls the boy upwards, a sign of his older age. “It’s too cold out to be doing this.”
“I was trying to be quiet.” It’s not an explanation or justification but it’s all Tomioka can think to say right now. He feels bad for making the man come outside to fetch him.
Urokodaki let’s out a gruff laugh. “It’ll take more than just quiet to get past me. I’m old but I haven’t lost my senses just yet.”
They move back down the mountain at an even pace. Giyuu is less careful than normal, occasionally snagging his feet on stray roots. The embarrassment of it paints his features red and each him the boy mumbles out a quick, “sorry.”
But his teacher never reprimands him, he just helps Giyuu regain his balance and then continues the way downward. They make it back to the cabin in a reasonable time.
When Tomioka steps inside once more he realizes how cold it really was outside. There’s a small fire burning in the corner that warms his nerves far too quickly. He has to stand and let the heat seep into him until it doesn’t feel like he’s on fire anymore.
While he stands immobilized Urokodaki moves quickly around him. First he slowly guides Giyuu to sit on the floor, so he can wiggle his shoes off. Tomioka feels bad, he should be helping, but his teacher gently reassures him. The man always seems to know what Tomioka is thinking before he can even realize it himself.
Urokodaki disappears for a brief moment, which is hard when there’s only two rooms in the cabin. He comes back with a wet rag, uses it to dust off the dirt still clinging to Giyuu’s fingers. There’s still some lingering under is nails but that’s for him to handle in the morning.
“Are you ready to go to bed?”
He opens his mouth, waiting, but no sound escapes. After a brief moment Giyuu nods his head.
The elder guides him back up and towards the futons. They’ve been pushed together to form one singular one. Tomioka hadn’t realized but he’s clutch onto his teacher’s robe. Instead of letting go he soaks in the joy that they can stay connected even after all these years.

Hi! I love CFLDF so much! I have so many theories about where the characters are going and what their past is, I feel like I'm trying to piece together a mystery book. It's similar and different enough to canon that I can guess the major plot points and still be blown away! I really like the way you weave the characters and their relationships and how you make them feel like real people. Special highlights for me are Senjuro my favorite anxious mess, Nezuko my queen, and the rest of the thunder fam; Kaigaku (world's worst older brother), Zenitsu (he should have been at the club), Jigoro (crazy old man), and the honorable member Tanjiro (world's best older brother).
I'm also trying to write a role swap kny fic and I was wondering if you had some advice? If it isn't asking too much! I've had half finished versions of a first chapter sitting in my docs for months because I can't decide what direction to take the story 😔
I keep swinging back and forth between thunder breath! Nezuko (probably found by Mitsuri the stone pillar before she was sent to Kaigaku) (where Zenitsu fits in this au depends, sometimes he is a demon and others he is the world's equivalent of the butterfly girls) and moon breath! Nezuko (ft. Koku being the Tamayo of the world and teaching Nezuko); and I also alternate between having Tanjiro stick around like canon Nezuko or having the DK take him and Tanjiro forgetting all about his human life and Nezuko's mission being more about revenge before the grand reveal. And also, just for example, I can't decide if I want to have a Shinobu-Tomioka swap (Shinobu has a lot of dead relatives 🫤 and Giyuu is the medic always pretending he is not filled with untamable hatred) (Aoi is his tsuguko and Sabito is the dead brother lover), or a Doma-Shinobu swap or the flower sisters as the spider family. Or a Doma raises Inosuke and Kanao but they're still human and they infiltrate the corps for him sub plotline in between everything. Or, every member of the Kamaboko is working for the DK as demons and Nezuko's gang is just a bunch of minor (probably demon characters) and everything plays out fairly similar. Or a Shinazugawa and Rengoku brothers swap based on my mom's (an anime only) theory that the Shinazugawa brothers were experiments and that was why Sanemi was all scarred and Genya could eat demons.
Some of this can coexist but a good chunk of them can't and I'm not settling for anything. Like there's so many possibilities, and I was wondering if you had some advice on how to settle on something?
Hi! Thank you so much! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the series! Hopefully many of your theories will be answered soon!
That’s awesome to hear that you’re writing your own role-swap! And I’d love to offer some advice. Feel free to take/use whatever you feel will help you best or ignore what you think you don’t need.
(Also I’m not an expert on writing this, so please, for anyone reading this, use what you’d like and know this is just my opinion on writing AUs for KNY.)
So, the first thing you should work out when planning a role-swap is WHAT KIND of role-swap you want to do. Based on what I’ve read, there are probably five different ways people have done Protagonist Nezuko Role-Swaps:
The Classic Swap - Tanjiro and Nezuko swap roles, but everything in canon (story and character-wise) remains the same
The Mentor Swap - Tanjiro and Nezuko swap roles, and a different Hashira/Demon Slayer takes them in (typically resulting in Nezuko learning a different breathing style); everything else in canon (story and character-wise) remains the same
The Hashira - Upper Moon Swap / The Human - Demon Swap - All members of the Hashira/Demon Slayer become Kizuki Demons and the Upper Moons/Kizuki become Hashira/Demon Slayer; can also be expanded into all humans being demons and vice versa too
The Character/Role-Swap - A specific character has their backstory (and at times, personality) swapped with that of another character (Ex: Rengoku - Shinazugawa, or Tomioka - Sabito)
The Customized Swap - May use a combination of some or all of the above swaps, or just take the story in a different direction (Ex: Tanjiro and Nezuko being separated for a majority of the story, or simply giving characters a new role without giving them a clear/strict “swap”)
Once you decide which one to do, I suggest “working from the inside out” when planning the rest of your Swap AU. This is more for the last three swaps but can be used for the others depending on how much you change.
Start with the characters you KNOW you want to swap (whether it be members of the Kamaboko Squad, the demon “defecting” from the Demon King, or the Hashira). Once you have those figured out, you can start filling in the blanks. It might take a little time to come up with, but whenever you have a thought, write it down and play around with the idea for a bit to see if it will fit with the story you are writing.
If it’s easier to start with the Kamaboko Squad, get everything you want figured out with them first. If it’s the hashira, have your line-up and see what details you can give them in the moment. If it’s the Demon King, come up with a basic idea for his/her appearance, personality, and motives. Start with what you know, and then move on from there.
Once you’ve figured out most of your characters, then look into how you’re going to develop the story. Will you be following the canon events exactly as they happened in the manga/anime? Will some events be rearranged? Added/Removed?
I recommend creating a rough (and I cannot express this enough, ROUGH) timeline of how your story’s main events will unfold, and then walking your characters through them. See if it makes sense, and take note if you find areas where you might need to revise things or add another scene.
And as a final piece of advice, read a few role-swaps and see what you like. I know before I even started writing the first chapter of this story, I read through a lot and found a few favorites that gave me inspiration for concepts such as potential swaps, different ways to explore characters/events/themes, and how to handle changing what’s canon without taking away what made it good in the first place. Have fun with your research, and you’ll slowly start to see things come together!
(Manga Spoilers Ahead)
Now, to address some of the ideas you have…
I'd go with whatever breath-style you feel most confident writing Nezuko in. I know writing her as a thunder breather can be a bit tricky since we only see Zenitsu perform the first form in canon and Kaigaku’s version of the other forms are influenced by his blood demon art, I do think it’s one of the best breathing styles to play to her strengths. But I’ve never read a story with her as a moon breather, and that could definitely open a lot of segways into different storytellings (especially if you decide to go the Human - Demon swap route). Plus, having Kokushibo in a different role other than Upper Moon One or a Hashira could be a fun storyline to explore that would definitely catch some attention.
This is also a very interesting idea that could really set the story apart. Kind of like what I said above, I’d say go with what you’re most confident writing. Having Tanjiro stick with Nezuko is one way of keeping the story close to canon, and I think there’s a lot of popularity/meaning in having their strong sibling bond emphasized as they navigate the world of demons together. But having Tanjiro separated from Nezuko makes a lot of sense as well, considering their heritage and how the DK (if they are different from Muzan) may want to take advantage of a descendant of sun-breathing being a demon. That would probably change the story a lot, but if you have a plan for how you will navigate the split POVs and how their characters will be affected by the separation and development of their ideals, then I think that would be a fun route to go and lead to a lot of awesome content.
I can definitely see Tomioka and Shinobu swapping. I’d be curious to know how much of their personalities would change as a result (such as Shinobu being more open with her feisty attitude or being more subdued like canon Tomioka, and then Tomioka being like you said having some hidden anger).
I think any of the Doma swaps would be fantastic ideas to implement. Especially the one with Kanao and Inosuke being spies infiltrating the Corps! I don’t think I’ve heard of anything like that before, and given the amount of development that could bring about, and how much of a twist/shock that would be for their “allies” with their reveal, that would be such a great plotline to include.
I’d love to see more of the minor demons that were killed off early in the series get bigger roles! I think it boils down to what I mentioned in the first part of the post, and deciding what the exact parameters of your story’s swaps will be. If you do go this route, I’d be excited to see what other backstories the other demons/humans will get.
I think switching the Rengoku and Shinazugawa brothers would definitely be a cool idea! Especially given how they share a lot of similarities, like how the older brothers would do anything to give their younger siblings a better, happy life. And that’s actually a really interesting theory your mom came up with! I think that would be such a cool idea for an alternative backstory for Sanemi and Genya, given how unique their abilities and conditions are (Sanemi having incredibly strong marechi blood and Genya being able to eat demons and gain some of their strength).
Ultimately, have fun with it. If you’re having trouble deciding, try and write out rough story outlines for your ideas and characters and see what works best. Or, just pick the one you’re most excited about. After all, it’s your story, and as I’ve found, if you’re really passionate and excited about a certain idea or swap, the planning and writing comes so much easier.
I hope this helps! If you would like to discuss these more, I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you have or brainstorm. Feel free to privately message me here (or if you would prefer, I have a Discord where we can communicate further).
Thank you so much for reaching out and asking! Have an awesome day!

my dear living adventure to escape chapter 4 (sabigiyu and other ships)
Author note
Terribly sorry for late updates everything is kinda a mess for me at the moment but I'm going to try my best of getting the next few chapters out<3
Giyu first pov
After I had woken up for what I only thought was a few hours I was in a room I didn't recognize but before I could process everything I was brought to a warm embrace by Sabito.
"You're finally awake" he said he was staring to cry as a few drops of tears formed.
"What do you means finally?" I questioned him I thought it had only been a few hours .
"Giyu you were out for days" he answered me,I looked at him as I was questioning about almost everything.
"You're joking right?" I wasn't going to believe him.
"Look at me Giyu why would I joke about this"I answers me once again .
"oh I don-" I was cut off as I winced in pain, a unbearable pain that was deriving from the back of my head.
"GIYU ARE YOU OKAY" Sabito was starting to panic he put his hands on my shoulders and shakes me a bit.
"I think I'm fine" I try to reassure him but the back of my head still hurts .
A door creaked open as a man with silvered colored hair walked in with a tray from what I could see it was probably tea, miso soup, and grilled mackerel with a bowl of rice.
"Ah I see you're awake good to know" he said before setting the tray he brought in beside me.
"Yeah I am" I responded in a much softer tone than when I was speaking to Sabito.
"you're gonna want to eat something you've been out for a few days your body Is malnourished from being out that long" he said to me once again tapping the table where he sat the tray .
I picked up the soup bowl and tried to drink the soup(good soup😽) before realizing it was way too hot and dropped the bowl on instinct .
"Giyu you have to be more careful" Sabito looked down at the floor as the soup so now on the floor (no more soup😞).  "I'll get a rag you just eat the other food on the tray".
Sabito ran out of the room we were in to grab a rag while the old man still stared at me "so your name is Giyu?" He asked me.
"Yes sir" I nodded in response to his question "but who are you?" I asked him.
"Sakonji Urokodaki" his answer was short and simple.
"Immmm bacccckkkkkk giyyyuuuu" Sabito called out to me as he cleaned the soup for the floor. "you barely even touched the other food on your tray" he looked at me disappointed .
"I barely have enough strength to sit up right I don't think I can eat" i awkwardly chuckled.
"I'll just feed you than" he said with no second thought I looked at him with a 'wtf is wrong with you' as he processed what he just said "OH I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE UH-UM" a slight tint of pink shown on his cheeks.
I giggled a bit as be was blushing "alright fine you can" I allowed him to do so. he grabbed a spoon and broke down the mackerel into smaller prices to I'll be easier to pick up. "say ah Giyu~" he used the spoon to pick up some of the mackerel as well as some rice .
"AHH" I opened my mouth slightly as Sabito slowly feeds me the food .
After the whole embarrassment of him feeding it to me I started asking questions to the man who saved us.
"So who exactly are you?" I asked him he looked at me before hesitating.
"A demon slayer" he answered yet my blank stared answered everything for him. Even Sabito turned to us.
"A what?" I asked him not knowing what a demon slayer was. Sabito walked over to me and sat beside me "Giyu you know that monster we encountered at the forest?" He asked me
"Yeah what about it?" I clocked my head to side and process everything "THAT WAS A DEMON?"  I basically jumped from the bed and maybe slapping the bed. (I think that's what it's called forgive me it's not)
(3rd pov [I got tired of first pov])
Urokodaki nodded his head and started speaking again "the ones you encountered in the forest were indeed demons you were lucky not to meet ones of higher levels" he adverted his eyes to another part of the room before adding on "I am a demon slayer I kill the same creatures you had just seen that's why you had survived"
Giyu eyes widen processing everything and remembering something else "what day is it?" He asks urokodaki answered it with a bit of confusion "August 26th why?" Giyu turned to Sabito and started shaking him "it's been almost 5 days since we left the palace if we're not far enough they're going to catch us"
Sabito realized what Giyu meant by that and knowing the what would happen to them if they got caught Sabito would definitely have to marry Kizana and Giyu and his sister would loss their jobs in the palace
"Is there something you need to tell me" the white hair man ask them wanting to know what they were talking about "Well uh erm all you need to know is that if we don't leave the kingdom fast we're bound to get caught" Sabito gave an awkward chuckle before Giyu elbows him "we need to leave the kingdom as fast as possible that's all we can let you know"

HI i saw ur post and although it was a while ago i'll still do a few <33 the first time im in ur ask box w/o having a seizure.
dk??? if im doing this right?? but here goes???
rengoku kyojuro would fall for the EYES (what does e-y-e-s spell?) joke and proceed to tell it to the other hashira only to see none except for mitsuri fall for it too. he'll tell it to senjuro and start laughing because WOW!! that joke is GENIUS!! so INNOVATIVE and INTRIGUING!!
mari and hero constantly flick eachother on the foreheads when hero tries desperately to flirt. like "mari, have you—have—ha—have you co—considered why you fell from heaven?" she'll flick him on the forehead and lean towards him, gazing up at him with a smug smile on her face. "from heaven? why, hero, i fell for you!" and he gets flustered and its like aBDBAHDUSHSDJJSKSIDHD and hector starts barking, as if laughing, and kel has to come over and pat hero on the back from how embarrassed he is.
tomioka giyuu owns pet rocks. nobody to talk to? talk to your pet rocks. he'd never reveal it to anyone though, but it's REALLY wholesome. he'll put!! little!!! faces!! on them!! give them names. sure its only numbers but ITS CUTE!! he'll keep them in the pockets of his haori like a good luck charm. if a button falls off his uniform he'll use it as the base for a top hat, curling paper into a cylinder and popping it on top of the button, then putting it on one of his rocks.
captain spaceboy has a crippling addiction to hot chocolate. (hikkikomori route spoilers aheaddddd)
ever since the space ex-husband events, he's been obsessed with keeping warm. he'll always have 63773727 blankets when he sleeps. but most importantly, hot cocoa every season of the year. he'll bring it to his lips, sniff it a little, and smile before taking a sip. now he tries to relish every sense of warmth, and keep his emotions in check. but if he sees anyone in his crew who needs it more than he does he'll immediately give it up. spaceboy doesn't seem like the type to put anything except for a few marshmallows in his hot choco. he doesn't like overly sweet things; they remind him of a certain sweetheart... but now he knows his crew is there for him. he'll sit in the middle of them and sip his cocoa and smile, and just appreciate them
OMG THIS IS A LOT HIDKSLADSA THANKS FOR THE FOOD THESE ARE ALL SO CUTE
NO BC I FEEL EMBARRASSED I HAD TO SEARCH WHAT THE JOKE IS HDJSAD,, but mitsuri falling for it 😭😭😭noo I can totally see that HDSAD,, KYOJURO WOULD DEF LOUD OUT LOUD EVEN IF THEY DIDN'T FALL FOR IT BC ITS SUCH A GOOD JOKE. joke of the century as he says
PLEASE HERO TRYING TO FLIRT DSAJDNSA Mari is the end of hero i swear 💀💀💀(the definition of malewife), BUT THATS SO CUTE GDUBJSANDSA. everyone feels bad for hero but mari loves him anyways (loves to tease him to death) ughr they're the only straight ship that i love sm /hj
SCREAMING AT GIYUU WITH PET ROCKS. IDK WHETHER TO FIND IT WHOLESOME OR LAUGH AT IT. THATS. YEAH, YOU KNOW WHAT. HE WOULD. I CAN HEAR SABITO LAUGHING FROM HEAVEN /J no bc that would be so cute tho. he'd probably learn how to do origami to design his pet rocks. paper cat ears. bowties. all that stuff. can't convince me that modern giyuu wouldn't do the same but it now has googly eyes
AWWWW SPACEBOY,, i can totally see that!! he has a new appreciation with warmth and just ghjdsadsa loves it!! i think whenever they go someplace cold, during the night he'd fucking cozy up like a mad man. sweaters, weighted blankets, socks, and HOT CHOCCY. love this space man 💕💕 SLUMBER PARTY WITH HIS CREW WHERE THEY ALL DRINK HOT CHOCCY WITH THEIR CAP GRRGHR
