Hmm... guinevere alter... i have to admit to never having thought about it

But a guinevere who is not necessarily angry, but just moved by her grief, and so tired of the lack of like, being able to act on her own abd change things instead of being a victim of circumstances and the narrative

Not making her evil per say, i dont like the villainification(? Of Guinevere , ever

But just her looking to make her actions more Important, actually change stuff herself, actually help the people she wishes to help, etc etc

Summary: In which Artoria makes different choices, and it leads to a different future, and relationships she never thought she would have.

Chapter:

Uther Pendragon had a daughter.

Morgan le fay was bright from the moment she first opened her eyes. She was born with magic that Uther expected to die out with him. She was smart and cunning, and she was strong and beautiful.

She was perfect in every way.

But Uther didn’t want her.

He did not want a daughter.

The people of this era would not accept a woman’s rule, no matter how loved she was by her people, he did not believe in her ability to command.

No matter how many times she asked him to believe in her, he refused to.

And Morgan kept trying, until one day, her father announced that she would marry king Lot, and leave with him.

He had completely shut her out.

No matter how hard she tried, she was not good enough for him.

Lot was not a bad husband, and they liked each other enough to have children together, and not out of obligation for heirs.

But… Morgan’s pain didn’t lessen, not when she received the news of her mother dying, and how did she die?

From childbirth.

And the child was nowhere to be found, not until 15 years later, not until Morgan’s world shattered.

Nothing specific comes to mind, but I feel like they'd either be on the same wavelength or they'd disagree just to disagree. They're both kind of idiots, so they sometimes like to challenge each other by being stubborn. Though if it's something dangerous, they'd disagree for each other's safety.

🍫 Who is more likely to steal the other's clothes? What are their favorite items to steal?

Rin totally steals Hakuno's clothes. She especially loves stealing her hoodies. Hakuno's clothes tend to lean towards comfortable and warm, so Rin steals them all the time and refuses to return them

🍬 Who is their biggest supporter (friend, family, etc)?

It's a funny thought but after seeing Leo in CCC I think he'd be their biggest supporter in the worst way possible, annoyingly cheerful wingman

🏹 Which one is more likely to think Valentine's Day is lame?

I think they'd both enjoy Valentine's day, but instead of thinking it's lame, Hakuno is just forgetful and terrible at remembering dates, so I feel like she'd dread it instead of finding it lame so she won't upset Rin (though Rin is just used to her being forgetful, so she doesn't actually get mad). Rin would totally prepare a whole plan for their valentine's day date and drag Hakuno around

They'd split the chores, but I like to think Guinevere avoids chores as much as she could, while Artoria doesn't mind chores at all, she'd do them without complaining, and she likes to keep her body moving.

Artoria is neutral towards all chores but Guinevere hates doing the dishes so much

💚 Which one is more kind-hearted and who angers easily first?

Artoria is surprisingly easy to anger, but is the kinder one

🖤 What is their biggest regret in their relationship so far (or in the future, if you don't mind giving spoilers)?

Guinevere's biggest regret is the affair with Lancelot, While Artoria's would be her inability to love Guinevere the way she should have.

💐 What’s their favorite “domestic bliss” moment? Do they cook/clean together? Do they like to go out shopping together?

They're both terrible at cooking, so they make it a routine to cook together and encourage each other to get better. Irisviel loves shopping. Artoria doesn't have strong feelings towards it, but she loves watching Irisviel enjoy herself.

Unfortunately, shopping means that Irisviel will dress up Artoria in every outfit she finds

Starts off with a romantic dinner, ends up with them running from the cops and it's 100% Iri's fault

8. What’s one way their personalities compliment one another?

Hm, this is purely based on how I write them since we don't have a Guinevere depiction in fate, from the bits I have of Guinevere, they're both level headed and kind, although Guinevere was more liked than Artoria, who was seen as a distant and cold King, Guinevere was seen as the kindhearted Queen, which brings up the sad parallel of how they were both treated later, just like how people easily turned against Artoria, they also turned against Guinevere after the affair was revealed

9. How are their personalities different?

Well, we know that Guinevere is a tsundere, while Artoria is mostly calm, i like to think Artoria would say something nice to her(she's not flirting, she has no idea how to flirt) and Guinevere will just go HGALGHDSOGHAHUOGAHGDSG Thank you, I guess.

Artoria for sure

For some reason that your little AU about the princess and the knight and Utena crossed my mind, so I thought: What if the roles of the characters were subverted? Hakuno is a princess who ran away to become a knight, Rin is literally a demon disguised as a princess, Sakura is the witch who dreams of being a princess, Shiro is a mercenary but acts as a hero and Shinji it's still Shinji in prince clothes.

I'm sad to tell you none of this is in the actual AU but! if it helps, Sakura is dating this pretty monster she found in the woods!(medusa) so we still have a mosnter cameo here
