Interview with Tien Jia Rui. Hah. I KNEW he would be an extrovert. If I wrote Legacies...

As we all know, Legacies was cancelled, I really loved the series, but mostly for characters not for the plot... So since it's gonna end soon, I'd like to write here some ideas, how could the show make more sense and be more like tvd and to...

Let me start from season 1

1) I wouldn't even begin with the whole Malivore thing, because it was too out of tvdu we knew and loved

2) in 1st season I would focus plot mostly on characters, Lizzie and Josie finding out about the Merge, Hope coping with lost of her parents and distance from family

3) Explanation of why Caroline isn't living with her daughters could be better handled - for example opening new school for young and gifted, even death would make more sense then Caroline not coming to see her daughter after she became heretic

4) main storyline of 1st season could be focused on Raphael as the new kid, he might have something with Josie as it was indicated in first episodes... But Josie would eventually end up with Penelope (who would leave later to Belgium)

5) Landon and Hope could end up together later in first season

6) Clarke would make his debut as villain in season finale

Season 2

1) the main storyline could be Triad - but not with Malivore thing, but as some "agency" against supernatural people

2) Landon's long lost father, who would be (most importantly) human would be the boss

3) he would find out about Landon dating Hope and living in school for supernatural and he would went after school

4) Clarke would be sent to eliminate Hope, but he would have been caught and locked up

5) he would spent time with Hope and realise she's not a monster like his father taught him... by the end of the season they would became friends... Landon would get jealous over it, not understanding it and that would end with break up

6) plot twist, Landon would die in season finale, leaving Hope heartbroken again blaming herself

7) meanwhile Lizzie would meet Sebastian

8) Kai Parker storyline would came back, but it would be bigger part of the season, but with bigger twists - he wouldn't die, but Josie would join him becoming dark Josie with Kai's help, in the end of the season normal Josie would come back, betray Kai and leave him in Prison world

9) Lizzie's bipolarity would be showed more, her storyline would be focused on healing and starting to open up other people except her sister

10) Hope's wolf side would appear more, alongside with friendship with Jed

11) Lizzie and Hope would have similar storyline like in original series

Season 3

1) After Landon's death, Hope would change (A LOT)

2) she would push her friends away

3) Aurora would shown up in my version too, but better

4) I mean like she wouldn't go on smoothies with Lizzie, but she would mean actual thread to Hope and school

5) she would manipulate Lizzie, with her own mental illnes and Lizzie would help her bring back Tristan and maybe Lucien too

6) THE ORIGINAL FAMILY would come back to handle them, but plot twist Hope would die and become full tribrid in season finale

7) Josie would blame herself for joining Kai, and her dark side would slowly reapear so Penelope would came back for few eps persuade her to leave with her, which she would in the end... And yet again it would solve problem with Caroline (Josie and Penelope would attend her new school)

8) Alaric and Raphael would be killed by Aurora because why not

Season 4

1) After Alaric and Raphael's dead Hope and Lizzie would lost it

2) Hope would turn her humanity off, and Lizzie's mental health would get worse

3) Clarke, now new headmaster of school would try to get to Hope, but unsucessfuly

4) Hope would be the season' main villain in first half causing troubles with Lizzie, and being a thread for students (she would be much stronger than Legacies showed her to be)

5) BenJed would happen, but Ben's storyline would be more normal - he could be one of Klaus' old enemy, who would wanted to destroy Hope, but would fell in love etc

6) Mikaelsons would bring Hope's humanity back

7) Hope would move after everything back to New Orleans, what local witches wouldn't like because of the prophecy from before her birth

8) Hope would become leader of french quarter witches and alfa of the crescend wolf, she would unite supernatural species in New Orleans with the help of her whole family

9) Kolvina would adopt kid which is totally out of plot, but I would love that to happen, also Hope would know a lot more about family history, she would definitelly know about Aurora being from Rebekah sireline

10) Lizzie would move to Caroline's school too

11) Clarke and Hope would end up together by the end of season 4

Season 5 - the last season

1) TIME JUMP to Merge actually happening

2) they would try find a way to stop it, but it would end up with Lizzie villingly dying and becoming heretic - this would be the main and last storyline, and she would be sired to Hope, leaving both Hope and Clarke scared because Lizzie would go dark

3) Hope and Clarke would come back to Mystic Falls in between the time jump to make school and Hope's purposes in New Orleans work... Hope would get pregnant in season 5

4) Hope's storyline would be focused on revolt in New Orleans' society in which Clarke would (not on purpose) become vampire later

5) the biggest thread would appear in the 5B season and Mikaelsons, students of Salvatore school and possibly some of tvd gang would join forces and fight together

6) Hope would at some point fell unconsious, she would one last time see her parents, Elijah, Cami,... in peace, finding peace in herself and coming back to save everyone (as she should)

7) Lizzie would end up with Mg, becoming more herself again with the help of Hope, Mg, Josie and Caroline, she would have better relationship with Penelope

8) some important character for all of then would die

7) the last scene would be Hope with her baby and family finding happiness a writing letter to Klaus and Hayley how she would meet them again, but not so soon and that she thinks about them all the time, but not with heartbreak anymore, but with love and good memories, she would mention Landon as her first love and that she would never forget him either, and she now has everything she'd ever wanted - family - always and forever - even when she wish they'd be with her too

So this is it... ❤️

PS: Hope would have better wardrobe (in season 2 - I think - she would burn that skirt and sweater)

911 es una serie de bomberos, no es realista obviamente, es ficción y en ficción siempre se exageran las cosas aunque hayan tomado ideas de la vida real donde pasan cosas muy locas todos los días.

Uno de los puntos fuertes de esta serie es el BROmance entre dos de sus protagonistas, Eddie Díaz y Evan "Buck" Buckley, o Buddie, como los fans han decidido llamarlos, dos hombres que empezaron su amistad con mal piel pero que poco a poco fueron convirtiéndose en mejores amigos, hasta el punto de que Buck es una figura paterna para el hijo de Eddie, Christopher.

El tema está en la ENORME química que existe entre Ryan Guzmán, que interpreta a Eddie y Oliver Stark, que da vida a Buck, una química que obviamente han traspasado a sus personajes.

Y de repente en la Temporada 7 Buck sale del armario como bisexual, Tommy Kinard, un antiguo miembro del 118 e interpretado por Lou Ferrigno Jr, alias mi querido Rocker en SWAT, le besa, un beso que honestamente vi extraño, no me transmitió nada y en el próximo episodio tendrán una cita. Yo creo que ese es el primer paso para la relación romántica entre Eddie y Buck, y me gusta porque quiero que sea una relación que avance despacio y segura, no de una forma rápida.

¿Qué creo que podemos esperar de Buddie?

No sé cual de los actores dijo que veríamos a Buck y a Eddie más cercanos que nunca y creo que puede ser una pista, obviamente no pueden revelar lo que pasará pero si tuviera que decir una teoría tengo el presentimiento de que en un primer lugar la serie va a llegar a la Temporada 10 y que esa será la última temporada (espero que no, aunque prefiero un final bueno que no alargar la serie y darle un final malo). También que Buddie se resolverá al final del último episodio de la Temporada 7 y que se empezará a desarrollar ya en la Temporada 8 donde ya tendremos una pareja establecida y hasta el final de la serie.

Veremos lo que nos depara el resto de temporada, lo que está claro es que Buddie es muy real.

911 is a firefighters tv show, it is obviously not realistic, it is fiction and in fiction things are always exaggerated even though they have taken ideas from real life where very crazy things happen every day.

One of the strong points of this series is the BROmance between two of its protagonists, Eddie Díaz and Evan "Buck" Buckley, or Buddie, as fans have decided to call them, two men who began their friendship in a bad and antagonist way, but they became best friends, to the point that Buck is a father figure to Eddie's son, Christopher, and he is in Eddie's will.

The issue is the HUGE chemistry that exists between Ryan Guzman, who plays Eddie, and Oliver Stark, who plays Buck, a chemistry that they have obviously transferred to their characters.

And what happens? You imagine them as a couple that goes from being a couple of friends to a couple that is something more, feelings that you sense are there and that you want to come true, going from BROmance to ROmance, they are very loved and the proof is in the amount of fanfiction, more than 23,000, that there are on the Archive of Your Own or AO3 website.

There are six seasons waiting for them to take the big step because to be honest they would play one of the best LGBT couples on television, one with brutal support and also one of the most beautiful, six seasons of tension in which there are brutal situations of unresolved tension between them and that crossed the screen thanks to that chemistry that exists between them.

And suddenly in Season 7 Buck comes out as bisexual, Tommy Kinard, a former member of 118 and played by Lou Ferrigno Jr, aka my dear Rocker in SWAT, kisses him (btw I don't feel anything with this kiss), and in the next episode they go on a date. We know Lou Ferrigno will be only un several episodes, so I think that is the first step for the romantic relationship between Eddie and Buck, and I like it because I want it to be a relationship that moves slowly and safe, not rushing.

What do I think we can expect from Buddie?

I don't know which of the actors said that we would see Buck and Eddie closer than ever and I think it could be a clue, obviously they can't reveal what will happen but if I had to say a theory I have a feeling that in the first place the series It's going to reach Season 10 and that will be the last season (I hope not, although I prefer a good ending to not lengthening the series and giving it a bad ending). Also that Buddie will be resolved at the end of the last episode of Season 7 and that it will begin to develop in Season 8 where we will have an established couple until the end of the series.

We'll see what the rest of the season has in store, what's clear is that Buddie is very real.

Porque insoporto no poder hacer una edición decente de padre e hija (porque el material es escaso y me dan ganas de agarrarle otro rostro a Viktor pero como es Ryan Gosling y NO TIENE DE EPOCA, me queda llorar). Well, lo iba a dejar sin color, pero como le quise pintar solo los ojitos a la Valeska, me terminé obsesionando con terminarle de dar color aunque me ha dado toda la paja mental hacerlo perfecto. Seguramente el día de mañana no me guste (porque le veré muchas fallas), pero lo importante es la intención :D También no quise dejarlo con un fondito sobrio, así que pretendí dibujar un background que sé que está todo cutre. Ya es marzo, y me había olvidado de estas fotos. Mis primeras adquisiciones librescas del año 2023:

Carmine, de Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

Hace años que sabía de este libro, cuya primera edición de 2010 estaba agotada. Se podía encontrar usado, a más de 150 dólares.

Desde hace como 1 mes empezó a salir listado, "nuevo", a unos 60 dólares, en diversas tiendas japonesas. Tenía mis dudas. Varias veces he comprado artbooks o ediciones especiales de Blu Rays japoneses, que el vendedor ofertaba como "nuevos", pero al llegar era evidente que estaban usados, aunque estuvieran en muy buen estado. ¿Cómo era posible que un libro de hace 14 años apareciera nuevo, y a ese precio? Pero cuando vi que no eran ni una ni dos ofertas similares, sino muchas, supuse que debía ser una nueva edición, y lo ordené. Efectivamente, esta es una nueva edición, de septiembre del 2023.

Es una edición grande, de 33cm x 26cm. La calidad del papel e impresión es increíble. Contiene las ilustraciones del manga a tamaño completo de página. Otras, incluso a doble página.

Una cosa que me pareció inusual es la imagen de Asuka de la portada. Usualmente, para la boca hacen sólo una línea, o un óvalo pequeño: una boca sin labios. Esta es una de las pocas veces que un personaje de anime de hecho tiene labios. XD

La cuarta imagen de este set (The End of Evangelion), con la Rei-Lilith al fondo y Shinji al frente, es una pasada. Dan ganas de deshojar el libro y enmarcarla.

Discursos Sagrados, de Elio Arístides. No sé de qué va. Sólo recuerdo que a E. Arístides lo han citado en El Camino a Eleusis (Ruck, Wasson y Hofmann), al describir las celebraciones de los Misterios en Eleusis. Está que he encontrado es una edición de 1989 que se había quedado sin vender en las bodegas de la editorial Akal.

El Parménides de Platón, la edición de Alianza, traducción de Guillermo R. de Echandía. Desde que Gredos terminó de editar las nuevas versiones de las obras completas de Platón, había estado haciendo una relectura, desde el principio. Al llegar a el Parménides (traducción de Ma. Isabel Santa Cruz), he encontrado algunas cosas que no me resultaban claras. Cotejé esos pasajes con la traducción al inglés de Mary Louis Gill y Paul Ryan (Edición Hackett) y tampoco salí de dudas. Así que compré esta de Alianza. La introducción es muy buena, y los pasajes que no entendía me resultaron claros en esta traducción. La recomiendo por encima de las mencionadas.

Una edición bilingüe griego/español de la Odisea, de la UNAM, que se suma a otras ediciones que tengo. Sigue envuelta en plástico. En algún momento la leeré y veré en qué difiere de otras traducciones.

Plato's Cosmology, de F. M. Cornford (1937). Voy a la mitad, pero ya me parece una obra genial. Es una traducción al inglés del Timeo de Platón, con los comentarios de Cornford. Una de las mejores cosas es que se detiene a comentar las cuestiones matemáticas, que para Platón eran de importancia capital.

#22 Blade Runner 2049

K (Ryan Gosling) es un agente de policía que busca a modelos viejos del antiguo nuevo mundo para eliminarlos y retirarlos, nada más empezar acude a una granja y empieza a descubrir que, contrario a lo que se creía, estos pueden concebir y parir, pero no hay rastro del bebé, solo los huesos de uno de los modelos antiguos que murió dando a luz.

Esto se mezcla con un recuerdo, supuestamente implantado, que tiene K, con una fecha concreta, continua la investigación para resolver quién es ese bebe, y qué tiene que ver con él.

El agente descubre que su recuerdo no fue implantado y que ocurrió realmente, pero ahora no sabe si el recuerdo es suyo o de otra persona. Ahora no sabe si nació o fue fabricado. Pero... ¿Quién fabrica los recuerdos?

A K, ahora Joe, le confirman que el recuerdo es real y su "amante" Joi (Ana De Armas) le convence para que se ponga ese nombre como uno real, ya que es una persona real.

Joe va en busca de la verdad, encuentra a Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) donde le pregunta ¿Cómo se llamaba la madre de su hijo? ¿Cómo era ella? Y si no conoció a su hijo.

Le destrozan la cara a Joe y se llevaban a Rick antes de que puedan profundizar más en la conversación, destruyen el aparato donde guardaba a Joi, y acaba perdido entre gente que parece saber demasiado y él que está totalmente desubicado.

Allí le confiesan que lo que tuvieron Rachael y Rick fue una niña, donde entiende que el recuerdo es implantado, no original, y le piden que se unan a ellos y maten a Deckard para mantener el secreto.

Al final la hija de Rachael y Deckard es la chica que diseña los sueños para los replicantes, ella misma incluyó esos recuerdos en Joe para que no se perdieran.

Joe hace que Deckard y su hija al final se conozcan y reencuentren, después que durante gran parte del film él mismo creyese que era el hijo de ambos. Pero se esmeraron mucho en ocultar los detalles para que ella pudiera sobrevivir, de ahí a que la internaran en una bola de cristal alejada del mundo, haciéndola creer que no podría estar en contacto con nadie más debido a su enfermedad, y creando desde su bola, los diseños para los sueños de los replicantes.

Joe lo pierde todo, y se siente identificado con Deckard, hubiera deseado ser su hijo, ser especial, ser elegido, pero no es más que otro replicante.
