Something I like about Leo is that he’s honestly really chill? It’s easy to remember the moments where he’s being obnoxious or excitable but I feel like most of the time he’s incredibly “go with the flow” and has an overall affable demeanor.
Hihi hello hajdjajd I know this might be a weird request but do you have some photos of Donnie with his goggles or glasses on ? Or maybe some silly cursed images of the turtles ? (Also I love looking at your post you're awesome and sorry for spam liking-)
Oh never apologize for spam liking. Engagement (and especially silly tags/comments) fuels my motivation to keep this blog going.
I love Donnie with glasses or goggles on!
And not really screenshots but I have a collection of reaction pics I think you'll appreciate:
Something I've never noticed before is how fucking miserable Donnie is in the episode Bullhop.
Bullhop hasn't even done anything wrong at this point, and look at D's face
He was absolutely the only one who did not want this *stranger* coming into their house
His autistic ass is Not Impressed!!
He's in Donnie's lab. Trying on his stuff - and you know he didn't get permission - and even worse, BREAKING his stuff!! Bullhop is lucky to have escaped with his life tbh
Something that I have kind of been thinking about is differently Leo kind of seems to act when animals get mutated compared to how he kind of acts when the one getting mutated is a human.
Leo: Okay, so she's a mutant
Raph, Donnie & Mikey: [Screams]
Raph: Leo, if you'd just listened to me, we would've gotten the bugs and been hosing down Mikey right now
Leo: We did listen to you, Raph, and that persnickety guy was ironically mutated into a clumsy bull.
Leo: And did you see her camouflage power? Classy
Leo: But I feel terrible, we're the ones who made him into this
In the episode 'Bug Busters' Leo acts kind of upset & sort of annoyed when Bullhop does get mutated leading him to almost kind of nearly lash out in frustration & the episode 'Bullhop', Leo also seems genuinely upset when he expresses his guilt over the Turtle's part in Bullhop's mutation & Bullhop being mutated in the first place.
However in the episode 'Flushed, But Never Forgotten' Leo simply accepts that Piebald is a mutant now & seems more interested in her new powers. Which makes me kind of wonder if Leo is possibly more upset about humans getting mutated but less upset about animals getting mutated due to Leo possibly understanding or realising how mutating could affect a humans life.
I’m going to need a spin-off series or at least an AU where we see what the mutant villains did offscreen during the series because the stuff we seen can’t even be half of the weird adventures they go on.
Like in Turtle-dega Nights: The Ballad of Rat Man, we see Hypno, Meat Sweats, Warren Stone, and Repo participate in Big Mama’s demolition derby. How did they get there, how did they learn about it?
Or in Pizza Puff, we see Meat Sweat trying to poison Guy Flambé with magical food, why did he get those ingredients? Has he tried to poison anyone before since his mutation
Or both in the show and shorts we see multiple times the mutant villains being so petty to fight the turtles despite them not doing anything to warrant a fight at the moment. Meat sweats in C.O.W.A.B.U.N.G.A and Hynpo wanting to hypnotize and make a school disappear because a middle schooler impressed the local press. If they’re so petty to fight literal children, I want to see them what other petty stuff they do offscreen.
I want to see how they navigate life now with their mutations, mutants like D.I.G.G and Bellhop wanting to fulfill their dreams but needing to hide their mutations. I would also like to see how they integrated into Yokai’s society, seeing the deleted storyboard of Wedder Smashers/Crashers where Ghostbear was marrying a Luchadora chupacabra yokai and invited some of the mutants to his wedding.
