if you’ve ever wondered why i am the way i am, it can almost definitely be summed up by the fact that i went from my only approved online outlets being webkinz, roblox, deviantart and icarly.com to full unfettered internet access like spontaneously and so i made it like all the way to high school age being incredibly sheltered and blind to the ways of the world at large but especially the internet and then i proceeded to spend arguably some of the most formative years of my teenage life diving headfirst into and completely inundated in the wild wild west of online and having no idea how to avoid shit that would fuck with my head because i had no idea that stuff even existed, let alone how to spot it. i was basically a sitting duck for the kind of people who dmed random strangers links to shock sites or screamers. what happened was essentially my parents kept me on a baby leash for my entire childhood w/o explaining why and then one day the moment i started to question why none of my peers were on leashes like me they decided to cut the leash without warning me that some places weren’t safe and i immediately ran into oncoming traffic

Let me preface this post by saying that I'm someone who somewhat enjoys drama, uses TikTok daily, and who watched TD as a kid

And also that this entire thing is based off of my lived experiences alone and I just like thinking too hard about dumb shit like this

And a lot of my research (random observations) were gathered from TRD and Total Drama TikTok

Okay actual post time:

There are 3 sections in the Total Drama+Total Roblox Drama space

1. People who watch Total Drama, have never played/interacted with TRD fandom

2. People who watch TD and play TRD

3. People who play Total Roblox Drama, have never watched/interacted with TD fandom

Group 1 is either extremely chill with (Group 1A) or fully despises group 3 (Geoup 1B). roup 3 generally doesn't care about group 1

Group 2 is where things get interesting because while they dont care about whats happening with group 1 and group 3, thry have their own internal politics

Group 2 can be subdivided further:

Group 2A: "Oldgens" aka people who watched the show as a kid

- Generally super lax with Group 2B. Usually not that toxic

- When they are toxic though... They're really toxic and rude to group 2B

Group 2B: "Newgens" aka people who found the show post-2010s

- 50/50 personality wise

- Can either be saints or extremely rude (especially about rarepairs for some reason?)

The positive sides of group 2A and group 2B often get along very well while the negatives always end up butting heads

Even though group 1A is nice to people who play TRD (group 2 & 3), I notice that lots of people who are in group 1 do act/talk as though they are better than those who play TRD

Group 3 is very rare and uncommon, usually they are very kind and sweet though

I usually notice more toxicity from group 2 which makes me wonder... Why is that specific group more toxic? Is it out of fear that they're not taken seriously enough by group 1?

I also noticed some things about the game modes in TRD:

1. Camp is usually the most chill. While fights do happen, they usually end with the instigators kicked out by everyone else

2. Expedition retains the most people somehow? Maybe its because people who join expedition know how hard it is for a game to start in that mode

3. Movies is a wild card. Either the most fun and interesting /pos game ever or the most toxic you'll find in the West

why do I feel like Azula would terrorize children in roblox lmfao

She totally would, but most of the time she'd probably do it without even trying. She terrorizes them by simply being better than them at the game - like, a hundred times better. The 12 year olds on Roblox hate her, so much, and always report her, but there's nothing they can do because she's not cheating or anything. She's just good, and she somewhat lords it over them. (It's Azula after all; she's just competitive).

Of course, when groups of children band together to try and get back at her, she goes wild. That's when she really terrorizes them. She wins every time they try to come after her, because she doesn't hold back. It's a game, after all - she doesn't have to hold back.

(I don't really see Azula playing Roblox, to be honest - just doesn't seem like her type of game, even as a kid, if you ask me. I feel like she'd prefer something like Minecraft or Journey (stuff that lets her be creative or to just relax and vibe, or closer to a strategy game.)
