Some more little character sketches!

Raph gets some pretty badass moments, and his power set is pretty cool! I like how he is more of a wall of defense for the litte fellas on the team, seeing as sai were used not only for stabbing, but also defense and disarming. He reminds me of Leatherhead, one of my favorite characters from 2003, but in keeping with the general characterization of Raphael

My sister used to own a couple pairs of red sai growing up! I used to sneak into the room with all her martial arts equipment and try to mimic the katas I’d see her do when no one was around to tell me off for playing with weapons. I wasn’t all that good at it lol

Also some Dorky Pals and Dog too! I love their friendship

Very rarely in my life am i able to visualize text very well. i think that's a lot of the reason i got into drawing as a kid, because i couldn't see the things i read. i drew their descriptions until it made sense to me (rip my school books).

NRFTW does what very few texts have been able to do - chapter 14 is so clearly established in my head, i can see every moment in vivid detail.

I love this iteration of April! Her no nonsense attitude is a very funny contrast to the brothers, even though she is just as willing to throw hands as any of them. She’s bat-shit crazy(affectionate)
