So, since I bought dried kidney beans, I figured I’d use them up. I followed @mrsvitale technique she used in her stories because I’ve never done this before. Once they were done cooking, I added in our Italian seasonings of choice and the end results look like refried beans to me lol. “This is the most Mexican looking Italian flavored dish I’ve ever made” is what I said to my kiddos when I served them. It’s not super pretty, but everyone went to bed with full bellies with more nutrition in them than going to McDonald’s or something like that. Are you using up your prep stash?
