Rebel Hearts in Lust and Lyrics main focus is Collin and Karlie :) as while I am doing this story they are the main focus but on the side we have Adria at this current time :) its a new format I am trying :) but they all make up Lust and Lyrics Story :) I hope everyone continues to enjoy it :) it more when its focus is getting shifted between my characters and story :) eventually Karlie and Collin may have their own banner when the focus is shifted to them soley but for now their perspectives are both appart of rebel hearts

today I'm not sharing any fic-related bits (but I'm still working on my cobb fic, and I think I've already shared enough of the next chapter, so). instead, I'm showing you a sneak peek of something else I've been working on for the last two years (with oc's, yup), and that I wrote very late last night:

Valentina's lips pull away from her wine glass, leaving behind a lipstick mark as red as the wine itself. While she keeps talking with the King, I try not to think of the way those same lips had their way with my neck last night, or how they've probably kissed other mouths before mine.

I try not to think of her lips, full stop. I force my eyes to look anywhere else —and I end up looking at her hands. I know my mind is hating me today, because it instantly recalls the softness of her brown skin touching mine, thoughts of her long fingers cradling through my hair flood my brain.

In the end, I'm still thinking of all the things I've lost from her.

this comes from my favorite project called rebel hearts, a sapphic enemies-to-lovers full of yearning, royal drama and mutual pining. a fun fact is that I'm writing this entirely on spanish (my first language), so this is an english interpretation.

Rebel Hearts by Lily Graison

Oh, the end of this book had me in tears, I love this series so much! But, this isn’t a weepy story, this is an action story, starting with a train robbery, and ending with, well, can’t tell you that, it would ruin the surprise. Throughout it all, Sophie and Jackson dream of their “what ifs” while dealing with their real situations. Not always safe, not always easy, but they fall in love in the middle of the chaos, and then have to fight to be together. I loved their story, the strength and determination of them both, and that they do get their HEA, no matter how far fetched it seemed to them <3

The sleeve is not only aesthetic, but so EXTRA

CW mutilation: Fox’s right hand index-finger: “Ahsoka’s Gift” - In the arc where Fives (appears) to get shot by Fox, enraged by this and by her treatment by the Coruscant guard during her trial arc, Ahsoka takes revenge on the offending digit that shot the gun. With her teeth, btw — it gets a bit wild. Side-note: It factors in for the other clones that Fox is not right-handed, but that’s the hand he uses to shoot Fives. Then again, most clones are trained/raised/adjusted to be ambidextrous, so — it’s just odd all around, from the outside.

GAR armor: In keeping with the AU title and inspiration (Repurposing GAR armor towards the end of pulverizing wrinkly Sith — A guide by CC-1010, ecstatically-ex-marshal commander of Coruscant), Fox has kept his GAR shoulder-guards, a cutout of his chestplate, and knee-guards (plus one shin-guard), though the paint on them has been adjusted or worn.

Oversized sleeve: Beneath the batwing sleeve and dramatic flair, Fox is hiding whatever the rebellion uses instead of the Mandalorian Whistling Birds, in addition to an elbow-mini-blaster that fires a max of four shots, and extra ammo. (Also the sleeve is removable — think detachable bridal train)

CW self-destruction: On the reverse side of his chest-plate piece, Fox has an explosive device with multiple ways to rig it to explode. While it is detachable and likely could be used to explode OTHER things, the primary intent is a last resort gesture of defiance should he run out of other options.

Fox also has a replaced tooth (which he makes use of, but no spoilers here) and a metal plate protecting the surgery point for when his chip was removed. Since Fox is Fox, he prioritized speed over care at the time, so it is permanent vulnerability due to how his skull was treated and recovered afterward.
