Shout out to all the moms who are fucking TCB every day for their children. Keep your head up! You’re doing FANTASTIC! I helped raise my brother after my dad was not around because my mom had to work 2 jobs to provide for us. My relationship with my father was complicated to say the least. It’s amazing how you can simultaneously love and hate someone so intensely. As I grew older I learned to forgive and understand a lot! My parents were just babes themselves when they had me. My dad was 18, younger than my son now who is still living with me! I’m so glad our relationship evolved before I lost him physically 6 years ago. He loved my boys, my brother and me, & never stopped loving my mom. He made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of regrets and turned to alcohol to help numb himself. Unfortunately that’s what also took him away. I’m thankful for the strength that I learned from my momma. How to rebuild after the wreckage. That she was there to help me pick up the pieces after my divorce until I could stand on my own and provide for my boys. As a parent you grow and learn with your children together, we go through all the good and the bad.

Sometimes I think we have over come a hurdle in maybe behaviours or learning...today we hit a new part of growing up, nightmares,fear and trying to be brave.

People have told me in the past to stop reading everything online, what I read teaches me how my little ones brain works, how to beat resolve issues without creating more problems!

I learnt so much over four years and I’m now learning how to understand children’s fears and resolve them in a healthy way, to manage emotions and find coping methods.

Sometimes we hit a point where we think that maybe it’s our faults they got to this point but truth be told...thier brains are amazing and forever changing so many things are envatable and mum quilt should never fall into many things of growing up.

They have stages in development where fantasy is still believed but reality starts sinking in....the world is big and can be scary, it’s ok to have fear and no matter how silly or small it is for us parents it’s very big for our children and should never be shoved off. Helping them understand is so important and how to deal with any kind of emotions they face.
