But I've got all these squares now. And I did math and adjusted my skirt pattern. And the bodice pieces are already cut out.

And, and... I would have to turn these into an actual quilt if I don't, and I'm pretty much out of materials to do that.

My next quilting project! Technically it kinda fulfills the rainbow option from my last “what quilt to make next” poll? It’s my mom’s birthday present. Her request was for a pillowcase for the pillow on her couch, and she asked for “as colorful as possible”

This thing is going to be ridiculous and she’s going to love it lol

The short answer: "not at the moment, but it is very possible in the future'!

The slightly longer answer: I would have to figure out a good pricing and payment system! PD-MDZS is also where most of my free time goes, so until my life settles down a bit, I would be on the slow side to complete them.

#Ask #Even longer answer: I technically do - but it's been people I know irl asking and handing me physical money/bank transfers. #I'm working on one right now but the tricky part with pricing is that they want the physical copy of it - which is different to online comm #Fun fact: I have gotten a fair amount of commissions from a local hobbiest quilting club. #They show me their pintrest inspiration board and tell me size specifications and I draw out patterns on parchment paper. #I am probably being undervalued by a group of 50-60 year old women but they call me handsome and say I'm doing a good job so... #There was also someone a while back who asked about a tattoo design and I was *so* enthusiastic but I just got too busy to commit. #I truly do appreciate people asking - It is *extremely* flattering that you like my art enough to want to commission something! #I will re-examine my situation in a few months! Someday really is the keyword here; I think I'd have a lot of fun with it! #(All the money would go back into buying more artbooks and supplies too! Continuing the "I can't believe I never posted this here" series, back in early 2017 my default baby gift was crocheted baby converse and I've always liked making monsters, which led to this photo that I think looks like a very dramatic start to a quest

All I had left to do on it was the edges. but I set it down YEARS ago and just never did it. So I'm doing it! I'm working on the edges and I'll have this done in a few weeks at the most.
