Where’s that post where someone was saying Brennan was probably stressed out during the entirety of his scene in “Pencil’s Down” because he was ready for it to be an elaborate scheme targeting him specifically? Because I’m pretty sure that’s the same shirt he was wearing so there’s a non-zero chance those were filmed on the same day, which is why Brennan was probably already on-set/available on such short notice. And since the set is still intact, that means this was filmed immediately before his Pencils Down scene and it is absolutely reasonable to assume he was waiting for it to be another elaborate setup.

When the two are first introduced to each other by Irida, Akari is understandably a little standoffish with him, and really says nothing to him. He’s a stranger, she may be shy, and Ingo’s aware he can seem a little unapproachable. So he tries to do what he can to seem less so whenever she’s stuck around him.

But after getting to a certain point of comfortability around him, Akari just started saying stuff like this to him all the time with no warning. Ingo realizes she was not shy, she just had a very strong social filter that she now decided to drop around him.

See. The funny thing about Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom is that it's easily the worst example of Zim exacting extremely out of proportion vengeance and wasting an absurd amount of resources in order to spite Dib... except it's technically not.

Because listen. Despite that simulation being one of the most horrifying, violating, mentally scarring things to ever happen to Dib—and that is NOT a low bar—it wasn't actually an act of intentional violence on Zim's part. The point of the simulation wasn't to punish Dib, it was to prove his guilt, and in true Zim fashion amazing amounts of damage are brought about through a totally different means than intended, most likely without Zim ever realizing his miscalculation. I mean, come on! He gave Dib nice imaginary things. What could possibly be traumatic about that?

Zim's actual act of vengeance was just another muffin to the face—which makes this episode, from a certain POV, the most perfectly proportionate act of retaliation that Zim's ever enacted.

I love the idea of Sith Obi-Wan being just as affable as Jedi Obi-Wan. He still banters with his opponents and his allies, he's still on a first name basis with everyone at the restaurants he frequents, he's still very well mannered, and animals still love him. You'd almost be able to forget he's a Sith, if not for the leonine eyes.

But occasionally he'll do something horrific, something measured and calculated to be as cruel as possible, but he'll still be ever so charming and polite. He might even reassure his victims that it's not personal, even if it's too perfectly tailored to what hurts them to be meant for anyone else.

And the thing is, it would be so easy to forget how dangerous he is, when he's so pleasant otherwise. He's nice right up until he's not, but by then it's too late to escape.
