BEYOND SHAME 🫣
“Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” — Psalms 34:5(NLT) It is so impressive to know that my relationship with GOD is without shame. Imagine coming to Abba for help and leaving HIS presence with a glistening face beaming with joy. The joy of receiving from the Father. This reminds me of my relationship with my best girl. Our…

“12 Promises of God to Lean On” By Instaencouragements.com:
“Leaning on the promises of God means relying on the assurances that He has given us through His Word, the Bible.
God's promises are trustworthy and provide comfort, guidance, and hope to believers.
When we lean on these promises and trust in God's faithfulness, we find peace. Peace that passes all human understanding. Peace that sustains us in the midst of difficult circumstances. Peace that assures us that God is in control.
It's important that we read and meditate on God's Word regularly. When we do, we will be reminded of His promises and to deepen our trust in Him.
Today, let's look at 12 of His promises and meditate on the Scripture where they are found.
12 promises of God we can confidently lean on today:
1. God will fight for you: “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” —Exodus 14:14
2. God will go before you: “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” —Deuteronomy 31:8
3. God will be with you: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” —Joshua 1:9
4. God will renew you: “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” —Isaiah 40:31
5. God will strengthen you: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” —Isaiah 41:10
6. God will be your Shepherd: “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” —Psalm 23:1
7. God will deliver you: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” —Psalm 34:17
8. God will counsel you: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.” —Psalm 32:8
9. God loves you: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16
10. God will make all things work for your good: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” —Romans 8:28
11. God will never leave you: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.” —Hebrews 13:5
12. God will guard you: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 4:7

Daily Meditations
Tumblr media
by Rev. George Bowen
Devotional for July 5th
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Psalm 34:18
Here again, the parallelism tells us something. He is nigh to save. His presence is salvation. Their misery is not nearer to them than their deliverer. To their broken heart, the whole universe seems broken; to their desolate spirit, all creation seems desolate. Crushed beneath a sense of unworthiness, forlornness, helplessness, they dare not lift up their eyes to heaven, and they know that it is useless to lift them to anything less than heaven. Irremediable sorrow seems their portion. But the Lord hasteneth to the place where they sit solitary. He does not announce his coming by angelic precursors; he does not descend on a bright cloud; no visible glory, no audible sound attests his presence. But the eye of the broken-hearted sinner falls upon the eighteenth verse of the thirty-fourth Psalm, and beholds there the intimation of God’s presence. The earthquake of the heart has opened a way for faith; and faith has opened a way for God. Formerly this word would have seemed like an engaging falsehood, a poetical fiction; nothing less than a hand of flame tracing the announcement in letters of fire upon the wall would have induced the recognition of such a truth. But faith lets God be true; and places him also among those whose words are to be believed. And if the Lord is nigh, then is all good nigh. When the Lord was with the first disciples, lacked they any thing? All our lost treasures are found again in him. All our bankrupt powers are found perfected in him. In his presence is fulness of joy.

“Timothy, in the presence of our great God and our Lord Jesus Christ, the One who is destined to judge both the living and the dead by the revelation of his kingdom—I solemnly instruct you to proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit —with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach the people.
For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear. They will close their ears to the truth and believe nothing but fables and myths. So be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil. Carry in your heart the passion of your calling as a church planter and evangelist, and fulfill your ministry calling.”—2 Timothy 4:1‭-‬5 (TPT)
In 2 Timothy 4:1‭-‬5, Paul urges Timothy to proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! To preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Timothy is to always be ready to teach, at all times of the year, to rebuke and patiently instruct. Paul knew that a time was coming when people would no longer be open to listening to the Gospel, so Timothy was to “be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil.” He was to “carry in his heart the passion of his calling as a church planter and evangelist, and fulfill his ministry calling”
Thebiblesays.com puts it this way, “In this last chapter, Paul charges Timothy. Paul might have considered this somewhat of a passing of the torch to Timothy, as his successor in the ministry. We can know it was well received, since this letter made it into scripture. Had Timothy rejected the letter, we can reasonably assume he would not have put it into circulation.”
[You can read a lot about more about 2 Timothy 4:1‭-‬5 here.]
We too are called to “fulfil our ministry calling.” In a way, Paul passes the torch to each of us, just as he did for Timothy. Jesus also calls us to preach the Good News of salvation. The last thing that Jesus said to His disciples before He ascended to Heaven was about proclaiming the gospel,
“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation… So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.” —Mark 16:15‭, ‬19‭-‬20 (ESV)
Biblesforamerica.org says this, “In Mark 16:15 the Lord Jesus gave this command: “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all the creation.”
Who is this command given to? Who are the proclaimers of the gospel? At first, we may look at this verse and think the Lord’s command applies only to a specific group of believers, such as the eleven apostles who were with Him. But who were the apostles? The apostles were people who had seen and received the crucified and resurrected Christ as their Savior.
What does this mean? If we’ve received Christ as our Savior, then we’re qualified to proclaim the gospel. Attending a special school or completing a gospel-preaching program isn’t a requirement to proclaim the gospel. Our qualification is that we’re redeemed by Christ and regenerated with His life.”
[This is a long Web article. Read more at here.]
Each of us can proclaim the Gospel, the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ. All we have to do is tell people what Jesus has done for us. You don't need a degree in Theology or any other qualification, just tell people your story, your testimony, and leave the rest to Jesus.
Let's spread the Word. As Psalm 34:3 says, “Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all.” (TPT)
Amen and Hallelujah! 🙏🕊️🙌

Count your blessings not your fears
Are you familiar with the concept of gratitude journals: journaling testimonies and things you are grateful for? If you haven’t I highly recommend you begin doing this. One of the biggest reasons is that, we as humans tend to forget all the good things in our life and become increasingly ungrateful once problems show up. Many people can experience a lot of good things from God, and forget it all…
