“It’s not like I missed you or anything.” [Prompt List]
A/N: I had a different idea for this prompt but then after ep5. I’m going with this~ Ψ( ◣ ∀ ◢ )Ψ**spoilers for S2ep5 if you haven’t already watched it** Words: 1,200 (supposed to be just bliplet length but I got carried away lmao)
Riko giggles to herself as Shiitake flops on its side with a soft croon. Chika and You are right all along, that Shiitake is really just a big furry teddy bear-dog. Her previous fear for dogs had prevented her from seeing what an endearing companion Shiitake is. Its thick tail wags lazily as it nudges against her hand.
“Hai hai, you want some belly rubs don’t you?”
A happy bark answers her. Normally such a sound would have sent her scurrying for the nearest post to hide behind, but now it just fills her with mirth. As she caresses Shiitake’s soft fur, she couldn’t help but recall Nocturne and how it gave her a friendly lick against her palm.
She never got to pet the little Sheltie, did she?
She shakes her head, reluctant to fall into that quagmire of depression again. In spite of knowing the puppy for just a short time, she is certain of their connection. Nocturne… no, Anko has added a splash of vivid color to her already radiant life here at Uchiura, and helped her overcome her fear of dogs.
Although, really, it is thanks to Yoshiko that she is able to accomplish that.
The younger girl has opened up to her, revealing the introspective side usually hidden beneath the fallen angel mask. Riko only had glimpses of that side in the past, so this incident with Anko enables her to bond with and understand Yoshiko more. Through their mutual affection for Anko, she is able grow closer to Yoshiko and confidently call her a close friend.
We had fun together the past few days, hadn’t we?
Making up her mind, Riko gives Shiitake a goodbye pat and hurries for the bus stop. If she remembers correctly, she would still be able to make it. Her heart soars in anticipation as she gets on the bus, the excitement growing by the minute. The familiar change in scenery indicates that she is getting closer and closer to Numazu, and she couldn’t help but smile like a giddy child.
By the time she reaches the vending machine near Anko’s home, her head has cooled down enough for her to think rationally again. What was she thinking, coming all the way here to Numazu without a plan in mind? She should have at least texted Yoshiko so they could visit Anko together. Now, alone in front of the house, it feels daunting to even press the doorbell, let alone greet the Sheltie’s owners.
Pursing her lips, she paces back and forth a few times before deciding to head back to the vending machine. She shall wait there to see if the little girl would take Anko out for a walk, and then she could casually walk up to them so it would seem like she just happens to run into them.
“Lily? What are you doing here?”
“Yohane-chan-?”
Yoshiko looks just as taken aback, dressed in the same hoodie as last time with her hands in the pockets. “It’s Yoshi-” She coughs hastily and drops her voice to a husky tone. “Hmnff, as expected of my elite little demon, to be present at exactly where the great Yohane wishes. I have high hopes for you, Lily.”
Chuckling in exasperated fondness, Riko approaches the younger girl. “I just happened to be near- wait, why have you been calling me… erm, Lily, is it?”
Yoshiko raises an eyebrow. “You’ve been ordained as my elite little demon now, so of course I have bestowed a fitting name upon you. Rejoice!”
Riko blinks at Yoshiko’s confident smile and theatrical pose, and suddenly finds herself giggling.
“W-What? Why are you laughing, you disrespectful little demon!”
She doesn’t understand how Yoshiko’s thought process works and probably never will, but she also acknowledges that she doesn’t have to. They get along each other well, and it’s fun and even relaxing to be around the younger girl. A fallen angel she may be, she is also one of the most observant and caring person Riko knows, and that is enough for her.
“It’s nothing, Yocchan,” Riko’s smile curves wider in mischief at Yoshiko’s surprised expression. “I just thought about Anko and how much fun we had, the three of us, and before I knew it, here I am. How about you?”
“I guess we have the same idea then,” Yoshiko shrugs and stuffs her hands back in her pockets, “I miss Laelaps so I came here and… well, I was hoping to run into you here too.”
“Eh? I mean, I did come here out of impulse but, I do live all the way in Uchiura so it’s really coincidental that-”
“Nope, nothing is coincidence, Lily!” Grinning, Yoshiko turns away and tilts her head a little so she could peer at the taller girl through her bangs. “This is destiny, I say! I have summoned you here through my amazing power! You said it yourself, Lily, that everyone has invisible power. Surely, you’ve received my call and answered it by instinct.”
Riko recalls how her thoughts had trailed from Shiitake to Nocturne and ultimately to Yoshiko. Perhaps the fallen angel has a point. Some sort of invisible power is at works and has led them to each other here.
“Right. So what is your plan this time, O Great Yohane-sama? Shall we wait like last time?”
At this, Yoshiko seems to falter as she averts her gaze. “Actually, just before I got here, I saw the kid taking Laelops out for a walk. I was just sorta waiting around to see if they would come back.”
“Oh, I see…”
“So! In the meantime, let me give you a proper orientation!”
“Huh?” Riko didn’t catch Yoshiko’s words, for her mind is focused on how the latter suddenly reached out for her hand.
“A tour! A tour I say! You’ve been to Numazu several times but I bet you don’t know all the good spots!” Yoshiko tugs at their connected hands, sounding impatient and just a little embarrassed?
“Really? You’d do that?” It’s true that her visits to Numazu have been limited. Compared to Uchiura, the city is much larger and should have more places to be explored. “Why, all of a sudden-?”
“Duh? You’re my elite little demon after all. It’s not like I missed you or anything,” Yoshiko huffs, her cheeks reddening. “Unless, you have other plans-?”
Warmth fills Riko’s heart with a few butterflies fluttering inside. She shakes her head and squeezes Yoshiko’s hand. “Nope, I’m free… though only until the last bus back to Uchiura.”
Yoshiko lets out a quiet sigh of relief and smiles brightly. “Great! Then let’s not waste anytime! Try to keep up with me, Lily!”
A burst of playfulness takes over, compelling Riko to run and pull the younger girl along. “No, can you keep up with me, Yocchan?”
“Hey, I’m suppose to be the one taking you to places!”
The two girls banter back and forth, laughing and thoroughly enjoying each other’s company. Perhaps, this would be their best day in Numazu yet!

So I’m having major LLSHP AU withdrawal symptoms so I was wondering whatever blip you choose it could be from that universe? first choice is: 8. “Your smile is not as bright as it used to be.” Kanamari after Mari was attacked in Hogsmeade and her power had been drained Or either: 45. “I think I made a mistake.” (Kanan) 46. “Shut up, I am a delight!” (Mari)- Kanamari prequel When they first started dating if possible? As I’m desperate to know how their relationship started! Thank you!
“Shut up, I am a delight!” [Prompt List] (closed)A/N: I skipped 6 asks to do this one sorry XD;; Don’t worry, I’ll do all the existing asks. As said in this post, I’m glad to be asked about this AU Anon! A/N2: This would be a teaser from the prequel-Interlude “Delphinus”, which is about kanadiamari’s Hogwarts days prior to the main story, told in Mari’s POV.Words: 2,696As usual, “italicized words” = Mari’s Engrish
“What’s up with her…?”
Mari lowers her Omnioculars and fiddles with the buttons on the side before looking through them again. Her objective is jogging at a decent speed, not at all deterred by the bumpy and uneven shore around the Black Lake. The girl’s expression is one of utmost concentration, her dark-indigo ponytail fluttering behind her like a, well, pony’s tail. Dressed in jeans and a shabby hoodie, Kanan Matsuura looks like a lost Muggle who somehow wandered into Hogwarts grounds.
Alas, the carelessly strewn Gryffindor cloak and scarf beside a rock remind Mari that Kanan is indeed a fellow student, Muggleborn or not.
She sure can run… ugh, stupid tree in the way.
Mari narrows her eyes and shuffles from one hiding spot to another. They say curiosity kills the cat, but she happens to be quite resilient! Each and every one of her adventures make her into the shiny person she is today!
Once an idea has taken root, Mari is sure to follow it through until boredom wins and sends her elsewhere. So far, her observation of Kanan is, frankly, tedious. Other than learning her peer has seemingly inexhaustible stamina and appears to be unaffected by the cold weather, nothing exciting has happened.
Mari grumbles under her breath as she reapplies the Hot-Air Charm for the umpteenth time. Waking up at the ungodly hour of 5AM is horrible already, let alone on a friggin’ Sunday! And Kanan’s done nothing but jog around the Black Lake for over an hour now! After the first twenty minutes, Mari had given up sneaking around the bushes and merely settled for perching on a high vantage point so she could oversee the Lake’s perimeters.
Sighing, Mari uses the Omnioculars to slow down Kanan’s movement and watches the replay to see if she could find anything interesting. As expected of binoculars specifically made for Quidditch games, she could see every single detail clearly, such as how Kanan’s sweaty bangs are messy and her cheeks flushed from the jog.
Mari blinks, noticing a particular detail for the first time.
Is she… smiling?
She considers herself an active person, having flown around on her broom and her precious Hippogriff since she was a little girl, but all the fun had been obtained through magical means. She doesn’t understand what could be so enjoyable about something as mundane as just… running. It’s not a game of Tag, and there is no goal, no incentive as far as she can see.
What’s so fun about this?
Sure, Quidditch players are known to train around the Black Lake, but even they would not wake up this early on a Sunday (she really can’t get over this fact). At least, such outdoorsy and tenacious spirit fits the Gryffindor stereotype. Mari has always wondered why Kanan got Sorted into Gryffindor - she isn’t rowdy and prone to mischief; while she appears smart enough in lessons, she isn’t academic like the Ravenclaws; she certainly exhibits no ambition whatsoever like the Slytherins.
Really, Kanan should be an easygoing, peaceful Hufflepuff. From weeks of observation, Mari decides that most of her peers fit the norm, and everyone seems to be mingling just fine. It’s only their First Year at Hogwarts after all, so it takes a different amount of time for an individual to find his or her niche.
Mari herself is quite friendly with her fellow Ravenclaws, finding their intelligence on par with her own and thus making it easy to strike interesting conversations. And, if she gets a little bored, she would challenge the Gryffindors to Exploding Snaps or even secret duels (she has yet to get caught!). Chilling in front of the fireplace or enjoy the rare afternoon sun? No problem, she has a few Hufflepuff buddies to share that lazy but content sort of joy too!
And there’s always Dia Kurosawa to tease and prank. Really, the only reason Mari even tries so hard in tests is just so she could flaunt her scores over the studious Slytherin. They’re evenly matched so far, with her being slightly ahead at Transfiguration and Dia at Potions. Like the rest of the students, other Muggleborns have more or less settled in the daily routine of school life here at Hogwarts.
Yet, why does this Kanan Matsuura still seem out of place? It’s not like she gets ostracized in lessons, and she sometimes participates in class discussions or naps through droll lectures. She’s like any regular teenager, so why is there something off about her?
Chartreuse eyes blaze in determination. That’s why she, Mari Ohara, is here to solve the mystery! The Sorting Hat must have placed Kanan in the House of Gryffindor for a reason, surely not just because this jogging-maniac has muscles!
Oh, she’s finally stopped. Hmm, what’s she doing now?
Kanan has returned to the boulder where she had discarded her cloak and scarf earlier. Instead of donning them, she simply stands there with her hands in her hoodie’s pouch and is looking out towards the Lake. Since her back is facing Mari, this only gives the blonde Ravenclaw two options: go around the trees to another vantage point, or just go over to confront the girl in question!
Smirking, Mari nimbly hops down from a branch, utilizing Sticking Charms and other small tricks to muffle the noises from her movements. She’s tired of all this spying (totally not stalking) and is ready for some action!
She casts a few more Charms to ensure that her approach inaudible. She does hesitate for a moment when she notices the slightly forlorn expression on Kanan’s visage, but she quickly steels her resolve.
Eheh, I bet you weren’t expecting any spectator, are you, Miss Ponytail?
Mustering all her energy, Mari darts out from the bushes and leaps for her target when she’s close enough.
To her shock, Kanan somehow detects her pounce and dodges to the side. Their mutually startled eyes meet for a brief second before momentum pulls Mari towards the rocky shore.
“Shit!”
Though confident in her own swimming ability, Mari could feel her limbs cramping up under the icy lake water. Bubbles burst from her mouth as she panics, her uncooperative fingers unable to reach the wand in her pocket.
A muffled splash later, she glimpses a dark silhouette diving towards her. Strong arms wrap around her waist behind her and she faintly feels propelled upwards where the light is. As soon as she breaks the surface, she gulps for air and tries to swim but only ends up flailing about.
“Be still! You’re in no shape to swim. Try to relax, I’ll get you to shore.” A calm yet firm voice stops her movements.
With her mind muddled, Mari could only nod and allow her savior to lead. She struggles to drag herself ashore, though the drenched clothing is weighing her down more than she could ever imagine. Again, strong arms haul her up and soon, she finds herself seated atop the boulder where the Gryffindor cloak and scarf remain rumpled in a pile nearby.
“Just what were you thinking! Do you have any how dangerous that was?!”
Kanan looks and sounds furious, wearing a dark expression never before seen and thus surprises Mari into silence.
After opening and closing her mouth a few times, she could only mouth a word. “Sorry.”
Glaring, Kanan is probably about to scold some more when a chilly breeze blows past them, making Mari shudder and her teeth chatter.
Wordlessly, Kanan wraps her cloak around Mari and begins to dry her in brusque movements.
“Erm, you should dry yourself first-?”
Indeed, the soaked ponytail is plastered to Kanan’s equally sodden hoodie. A scowl is all Mari receives as Kanan continues to wipe at her head.
Honestly, Mari feels like a little kid under reprimand and in no position to argue.
Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, Mari retrieves her wand and gives it a complicated wave. Kanan recoils, her amethyst eyes wary and her fists clenched even as Mari calmly directs the wand’s tip over her.
Her stance only relaxes when it’s obvious that the magic is simply drying her clothes via controlled hot air. Smiling, Mari then dries herself with this nifty Hot-Air Charm and holds up her hands akimbo.
“Tada~ See, no need to manually do it. It’d take forever to wring out the water, yes?”
“Right, what was I thinking. You’re a Witch and we’re at Hogwarts.” Kanan’s tone is oddly aloof, as if she doesn’t consider herself a fellow Witch as well.
“Yup! I can do this too,” she utilizes one of the more advanced Transfiguration spells and manages to conjure a jar from a piece of the Omniocular. Under Kanan’s watchful gaze, Mari smoothly aims Bluebell Flames into the container. “See? You can even carry this around if you get cold!”
“Useful, I suppose.” Again, Kanan’s voice is rather flat, not in a dismissive way but more like all of this has nothing to do with her. Her eyes are still trained on Mari, scrutinizing at her from the top and down to her feet.
“What?” Though unabashed most of the time, Mari feels quite self-conscious under such an intense gaze. “Am I so pretty that you can’t look away?”
Ha, she couldn’t help but add that cheeky remark.
Kanan, as expected, ignores her and points at her leg. “You got a spell for the cramp too?”
“Damn, you got me,” Mari playfully holds up her hands. “That’s for a Healer’s level.”
At last, Kanan’s hardened expression is replaced by a small smile. “See, it’s still necessary to do it yourself, rather than rely on magic.”
“U-um…” Again, Mari finds herself rendered speechless as Kanan begins to massage her leg. Her hands are well-practiced, as if knowing exactly where and how much pressure to apply.
“How do you feel? Does anywhere else hurt?”
Blinking out of her daze, Mari shakes her head. “You seem knowledgeable about this. Do you do this often? Is this a way to hit on girls?”
Kanan gives her a blank look. “Huh?”
Mari rolls her eyes. “Never mind that. So, this massage, the swimming, and all that, you seem like a professional-?”
At this, Kanan holds her head a bit higher. “I already have my lifeguard license, back in the Muggle world I mean. My grandpa… well, I used to work at a diving shop,” her voice falters a little but her enthusiasm quickly takes over again. “See, I live at this small town by the sea and-”
Always ready to learn new things, Mari becomes absorbed in Kanan’s story and especially her passion about the sea. Despite having quarter Muggle blood, the Ohara ojousama grew up in a magical community and mostly interacted with Pureblood peers. As she grew older, her father would take her around the world to build connections with foreign communities, hence she has some pen pals from Beauxbatons, Durmstrang and even Ilvermorny. The acquaintances she does know from the Muggle world all have power and position, so she has yet to befriend a Muggleborn like this.
Well, she’s always been fascinated by Muggle contraptions anyway, so this could be her chance?
“Hey, teach me more!”
“What-?”
“Like, what were you doing around the Lake? Can’t be only jogging! It’s a Sunday!”
Kanan’s relaxed expression tenses again in annoyance. “I was just exercising! I do this every day, and that reminds me, what were you doing spying on me and-”
“Don’t mind don’t mind~ At least we’re talking now right? You chat with your Housemates and other students just fine but I notice you always pull away before the conversation gets any longer.”
“That’s- I was just-” Kanan furrows her brows. “How long have you been watching me? And why me?”
Honestly, Mari doesn’t know. She tends to go with her instincts and just rolls with it. Some would argue that is actually a Gryffindor trait, but hey, a shiny and creative mind like hers could only belong to Ravenclaw! Everyone has bits of qualities from each House, sì?
“It’s a secret~ To find out, all you have to do is teach me more about Muggle life style~” Mari ends her sentence with an award-winning wink.
Needless to say, Kanan appears unaffected. “I don’t really… besides, I can see that our personalities don’t match and-”
“Shut up! I’m a delight!” Mari pats Kanan’s shoulder and gives her a thumbs-up. “Stick with me and I promise your life here will be shiny every single day~”
Reluctance oozes from Kanan’s body language. “Surely there are other choices? Aren’t there some Muggleborns in Ravenclaw and I bet they’re smarter than me-”
“Nope. I’ve picked you, and that’s the end of the discussion.”
Kanan lets out a quiet and contemplative hum. “You sure are headstrong. What do I get out of this then?”
Shrugging, Mari glances at the blue fire flickering in the jar. “Hmm, I could teach you cool tricks like this? Whatever I can think of to help your daily exercise or something?”
“That… could be helpful,” Kanan mumbles and seems hesitant for the first time in their conversation. “Well, being a Muggleborn, there are some stuff I don’t quite get about the magical world, and I do have trouble with some of the assignments and spell works, so, um…”
“No problem!” Eager to be of help, Mari shakes Kanan’s warm hand and grins triumphantly. “Deal! We help each other out and, well, we’ll go from there, Kanan!”
“We’re on first-name basis already?” Kanan’s lips twitch in a hint of a smile, which Mari takes as a good sign.
“Of course~ We’re gonna be spending a lot of time together, so get used to it!” The blonde pauses when a thought occurs to her. “But, huh, I thought Gryffindor Lions would take you under their wing. Pride of Lions as they say, no?”
Kanan does not reply to that, her expression rigid. Mari puts that away to her To-Investigate List and waves it off.
“No matter, I’ll be a much better influence than those rowdy Cubs anyway, hehe. Oh, actually, I have a better idea.”
“What?” Kanan asks warily.
“I’d love to be the one tutoring you but my attention span isn’t long enough for that~” Her dear acquaintance and perhaps the only person she considers a friend would surely accept. Dia’s outstanding achievements in every class have already made her famous in the school, on top of her prestige as the heiress of an ancient Pureblood family. However, such distinguished status causes a distance between her and her peers, even her Housemates. They don’t dare to approach her out of reverence, and Dia likes to keep her personal space anyway.
Until Mari Ohara comes along, that is.
“I have the perfect candidate in mind. Why don’t we go to her right now?” Grinning, Mari tries to stand up but almost stumbles when her cramped leg refuses to cooperate. She could support her own weight, though the sensation of weakness is disconcerting enough to make her growl in frustration.
Where is her broom when she needs it!
Suddenly, she is lifted up as if she weighs nothing.
“First, we need to go to the Infirmary. Your leg still needs to get looked at properly,” Kanan says evenly, not at all out of breath as she begins to walk towards the castle.
It takes several moments for the gears in Mari’s head to resume functioning. Didn’t her morning start with trailing after this ponytailed Gryffindor? How did that lead to her being wrapped in the said Gryffindor’s cloak and carried like a princess?
“Okay, giddy-up!”
“I’m not your horse.”
“Go fetch!”
“I’m not your dog either.”
“What are you then?” Mari peers up at Kanan, fluttering her eyelashes theatrically.
Kanan looks down and huffs in exasperation. “I suppose, we’re… friends now?”
“Good answer! Ten points to Gryffindor!”
Kanan sighs and Mari giggles to herself. Perhaps, by sticking with Kanan, it is her life that will be shiny every single day!

“I didn’t intend to kiss you.” [Prompt List]
A/N: iirc my second ever DiaMari writing attempt? Takes place during S1ep7Words: 742 (still longer than I expected DX I cannot stop rambling)
Mari smirks, unfazed even as Dia slams her hand beside her head. The Kurosawa heiress has a way of intimidating people, whether it is through those piercing emerald eyes or her frigid expression that leaves no hint of weakness. Having known her for years though, Mari easily sees through such facade and thus stands her ground. Beneath that diamond layer, Dia is a passionate girl who tends to put others before herself.
Even now, in spite of her best attempt to appear threatening, she is only doing this out of concern for Chika’s group, for Kanan, and for Mari too.
“Just what are you trying to do, Mari-san?”
“Nothing~” The blonde tilts her head, giggling flippantly. “I should be the one asking you that, cornering me against the wall like this. Kya~ when did the little obstinate penguin grow so bold?”
Dia narrows her eyes and leans even closer. “Stop fooling around, Mari-san. I am serious.”
“It’s no joke,” Mari drops her voice, schooling her expression to match her friend’s severe one. “I will get what I want. You know I always do.”
“Why are you so stubborn? And you call me obstinate…” Dia is so close that Mari could practically feel her body warmth.
“Ara, stubborn should be a word reserved for that pigheaded old man,” Mari is long used to her personal space being invaded, usually by a certain ponytailed seaweed lover, but also she tends to invade other people’s personal space too. She giggles inwardly, tutting at Dia’s attempt to unnerve her.
Still, it’s been a long time since she gets to observe her childhood friend this closely. The manual boob-measurement aside, Dia has indeed grown so much in these two years. She’s gotten taller, perhaps the same height as Kanan, and seems to have polished a steel edge that had only been evanescent in the past.
Truly, Kurosawa Dia has blossomed into a beautiful young woman. While Mari is saddened that she wasn’t around to witness the process, she is glad to be one of the few people that Dia does not keep at arm’s length.
“You are both the same,” Dia is growling now, her clenched fist slowly raising while her right hand remains beside Mari’s head. “Stubborn, foolish, clumsy…”
“Now, now, I’m not as bad as-” Mari involuntarily flinches when Dia grips her shoulder, painfully at first, but the force lessens almost immediately. She’s seen Dia angry before, an explosive kind of anger, but not like this brewing darkness. Their proximity is starting to make her quite uncomfortable, yet she could not look away from Dia’s eyes. The whirlpool of green is drawing her in, rendering it difficult to think and maintain her confidence.
Mari enjoys tackling the unknown and would often do so with a cackling laugh. However, when it comes to her two best friends, she feels like shrinking to a shell, vulnerable and lost.
“Hey, Dia-”
Suddenly, she finds herself unable to speak, move, or even breathe. Dia is so close that she could count her long eyelashes, so close that the heiress’ mild but soothing scent of green tea fills her senses. And there is something hot and soft moving gently against her lips.
It takes her several moments to realize that Dia is kissing her.
Stunned to her core, she remains still like a statue even as Dia pulls away and opens her eyes. With those fiery green eyes are well-guarded once more, she mutters something under her breath, so quietly that Mari almost misses it. When there is no response, Dia drops her gaze awkwardly and takes her leave.
It is only upon the click of the carefully closed door that Mari snaps back to her senses. Frantic, she looks towards the door, contemplating on chasing after Dia but uncertainty roots her in place. She touches her lips with a trembling finger, as if she could feel the phantom warmth.
“I did not intend to kiss you.”
Dia’s whispered words echo in her mind, making her heart ache something fierce. She slides down against the wall and hugs her legs against her chest, suddenly feeling cold and so very alone in this spacious room.
She touches her lips again and lets out a shuddering sigh when realization sinks in.
“I did not intend to kiss you.”
Mari smiles wryly. “Well, I do.”

“30. “I’m fine.”” [Prompt List] (closed)
A/N: Again I’m going out of the order with the asks XD;;; Also, sorry @maxwell-kill10 only one prompt per ask so I’m going with the DiaRiko one (and #42 was already used even though I haven’t written it OTL) A/N2: I had a different idea in mind but, after SIF’s latest story (Chapter 17 part 3), I just gotta write about Dia vs Riko’s table tennis XD. There are references to S2ep4 too. The humor in this could be considered crack, iono  ┐( ̄∀ ̄)┌ Words: 1,314
“This isn’t over yet… not yet-!”
“Bring me your best!”
One pair of eyes, the amber hue burning like magma, blazes even more so upon the proclamation. Letting out a fierce yell, Riko strikes the tiny orange ball with all her might and sends it across the table!
The other pair of eyes, the emerald hue shimmering vividly like a kaleidoscope, flashes with determination even as the ball flies at her at a frightening speed. Letting out a battle cry, Dia hits the poor ball dead center with her paddle.
The ball sails over the net and lands at exactly the corner of the table, forcing Riko to backhand and thus making her shot feeble and too high.
Smirking, Dia ends the game with a powerful smash!
“No!” Riko growls, barely reining in her frustration to not chuck the paddle onto the floor. She wipes at the sweat trickling down her forehead, scowling at Dia’s smug voice.
“We are even once more, Riko-san. Shall we make it best out of three?”
“Wasn’t it best out of three hours ago? How many games have we played anyway?”
Dia quirks an eyebrow. “Are you saying that you are tired?”
Riko twitches. “I’m fine. You’re the one who looks worn out, Dia-san.”
Indeed, the older girl’s hair is in complete disarray. At least Riko had the sense to tie back her hair in a ponytail, although the different hairstyle causes an indiscernible sensation that affects her concentration. No, she is not making excuses.
“I, Kurosawa Dia, look worn out? Preposterous. That is merely the glorious sheen of a victor.”
Riko rolls her eyes and passes a towel to Dia anyway. “No, you’re not. We've tied again, remember? How about a sudden death match? Whoever wins the next round, wins the match.”
“Very well. It is getting rather late,” Dia pauses in dabbing at her brow. “I have to say, I am quite surprised. I did not know you were this competitive, Riko-san.”
At this, Riko sheepishly averts her gaze but is unable to defend herself. While she does hold pride in her own ability, she usually does not care for wins and losses in simple games. As long as things aren’t chaotic and still within control, she doesn’t mind what the outcome is.
She certainly isn’t as gung-ho about table tennis like Chika and Kanan are (yikes, their match was terrifying to spectate). If she had been able to play against them, she would not mind losing due to how truly passionate they are about this game. The same can be said for You, who was excited like her childhood friends but also prioritized having fun over achieving victories.
Ruby… well, she ended up owning everyone, much to everyone’s surprise, especially her sister’s.
Therefore, technically speaking, Riko considers her true loss to be against Dia. She knows the student council president is Competitive with a capital C, and for some reason losing to Dia irks her to no end. It’s like an incessant itch you can’t scratch.
For the sake of getting a good night’s sleep, she vows to defeat Dia in another match when there’s no audience to distract her and so, here they are.
“W-what’s so funny?” Riko is a tad miffed when Dia suddenly begins chuckling. She becomes even more flustered as Dia simply smiles and gives her this gentle, almost maternal gaze. It makes her feel rather vulnerable somehow, and that bewilders her.
“Nothing. Since you have the ball, please go ahead and serve.”
“Okay…” Frowning, Riko shakes off the odd thought and prepares herself. Her serve is sharp and fast, though Dia easily returns the rally with a flick of her paddle.
After a bit of straight-forward back and forth, they begin to put more force as well as more thought behind each strike, continuously searching for the opportunity to end this match.
Already, Riko has a few close calls, so she inwardly thanks all that school idol training in honing her reflex time. Even then, she’s getting tired and is breathing raggedly. Dia, on the other hand, doesn’t appear to be out of breath. It must be the side effect of growing up with Kanan and Mari, that her stamina has also built up over the years.
This is never-ending… I’ll be the first to slip up! Riko bites her lip and debates whether if she should use her last resort. Mini images of Yoshiko, one angel and one fallen angel, argue for a moment before the fallen angel shoves the angel aside and makes a dramatic pose.
Go forth, Lily! Go with your heart!
Nodding, Riko takes in a deep breath and calls out. “Dia-chan!”
She honestly hasn’t expected such a big impact on her opponent. Dia freezes in mid-motion, causing the ball to smack her in the forehead.
“Pigyah!”
“Dia-san!”
Worried and feeling guilty, Riko hurries to the older girl, who is leaned over the table with a hand covering the injured area. Lightweight or not, it still stings to be hit by something traveling in high speed.
Dia waves off Riko’s apology and mutters. “...you changed back.”
“Change what?”
“How you called me. You changed it back to Dia-san.”
“But I’ve always called you Dia-san?”
At this, Dia’s ears seem to redden while her expression is blocked by her hand. “...I suppose you have. Even though everyone has changed since that day at the marine park, you still revert to the old ways.”
“Oh. Out of habit I guess,” Riko is at a loss for words. She doesn’t speak to Dia much and when they do, it is often done without referring to each other’s name. She thought that having the others call her ‘Dia-chan’ is enough already. They have always been Riko-san and Dia-san, so that’s fine right?
Shaking her head, Dia straightens and gazes at the shorter girl with a stern expression. “I would like you to call me that too. It shortens the kouhai-senpai distance, see, and if I had gotten used to it, I would not have been so surprised just now.”
Riko has to cover her mouth or else she would have burst into giggles. In spite of Dia’s firm voice, her flushed cheeks totally give her away. Like that day at the marine park, she still finds this side of Dia to be very cute. Before, it had only been brief and she was too confused to appreciate this refreshing change.
Now, she is filled with the urge to tease the kaichou even more.
“Dia-chan~”
Dia narrows her eyes, though the small curve at the corner of her mouth is telling enough. “Good, start practicing until you call me that naturally.”
Riko feels like she’s winning. The fact that there was no winner in their table tennis match has long left her mind. She gives Dia a playful salute similar to how You tends to do. “Oh I will, Dia-chan~”
Harrumphing, Dia closes their distance until they are mere centimeters apart. Ah, this is it, the ‘intimidation’ technique Chika had mentioned. Perhaps being around Chika and, to an extent, Mari, has rubbed off on her, for she has no problem with such proximity.
“What’s the matter, Dia-chan?”
Riko’s heart skips a beat when Dia leans down near her ear and whispers. “I think it is getting quite late. We should go to bed, Riko.”
She doesn’t even notice Dia smirking and sauntering away. Her mind replays the situation just now, the husky voice, the heated breath, and the alluring smile.
Alright, she had completely and utterly lost.
Or did she?

“If you want, we could go together?” [Prompt List]
A/N: Aaaand I got carried away again XD;;; Loosely based on SIF’s Angel Set, with some Guilty Kiss tooWords: 1,610
“Checking up on Yohane-chan again?”
Riko quickly hides the binoculars under the cloud pillow, ready to deny it. One glance at Mari’s knowing smirk tells her that it’s futile to argue. Sighing, she sheepishly takes out the binoculars again and resumes her observation.
“Now now, don’t ignore me, Rikocchi~! Talk to me.”
Riko scowls but refuses to answer.
“Riko. How is she?”
Mari’s playful tone now gains a soft quality, the same concerned tone that she uses whenever she inquires about their former friend. Riko’s hand subconsciously tightens on the binoculars as she tries to keep her voice from trembling.
“Yocchan is doing alright. She seems to be having trouble with rain, and various odd misfortunes keep happening to her but overall… she’s doing alright. She’s happy.”
The pang in Riko’s heart is somewhat soothed by the sight of the raven-haired girl, grinning and chatting with her two friends.
“That’s good to hear.” Mari gingerly lies down beside her and reaches for the star pillow. Riko glances at her friend, watching the latter whimsically play with the fluffy cushion. Mari then switches her attention to the open book between them, eyes glinting in recognition at the cutesy demon caricature on one of the pages.
“You know, you could go visit her.”
“I can’t,” Riko says immediately, reflexively. She’s toyed with the idea countless times, to just enter the mortal realm and speak to Yoshiko. But no, she must not break the rules. She must not endanger Yoshiko, not when she’s already suffered because of her once.
She cannot sin again.
“Yes you can,” Mari smiles, appearing rather exasperated. She nudges the star pillow against Riko’s face, giggling when the latter blushes at her next words. “After all, you still love her, don’t you?”
“I-I…”
“It’s okay,” Mari’s majestic angel wings spread behind her as she stands up and gazes at her with resolution. “I’ll help you, both of you. Last time… I was only able to help you, while Yohane-chan…”
Riko closes her eyes, unwilling to recall the painful memories. “She’s not one of us anymore, Mari-san. She’s a mortal now. She doesn’t remember me, and she doesn’t have to. She’s perfectly fine there-”
“But you’re not fine.” Mari’s voice is low, half-pleading and half-irate. “You may think her fall from Paradise is your fault, but I’m just as guilty as you. I could not save her then, and if I continue to let you be like this, it would’ve put her efforts to waste!”
Taking a deep breath, Riko also unfolds her angel wings and gently places the binoculars to the side. “…you’re right. I should do something, instead of just moping around. I’ll go see Yocchan and… well, perhaps afterwards, I’ll finally be able to move on.”
“Don’t be so pessimistic, Rikocchi~” Mari winks, holding out her hand. “You’re going to the mortal realm, ne? It’s where life is full of shiny possibilities!”
Riko returns the smile and places her hand in the blonde’s.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, Ruby, Zuramaru!”
Yoshiko waves her two friends goodbye as they part ways at the intersection. Humming, she skips down the road and tries not to dance along too. Today is the day! After a long time of searching, she’s finally found the perfect spot to do her ritual.
She knows that she’s different than everyone, that she’s special with hidden powers. She’s a former Angel who fell from heavens, one must have committed a terrible sin and was thus cast out from Paradise!
This is the only explanation for her string of bad luck and her dreams about this exotic realm above the clouds!
No one, not even her parents, believe in her identity as a fallen Angel. While her two best friends are supportive of her, she could tell that they do not believe her either. That’s fine, all of this shall finally come to an end when she opens the portal connecting the two realms!
Her excitement, however, is dampened by the series of misfortunes that delay her journey. A bird that flew by poops on her shoulder; when she goes to clean up the mess in the public washroom, the pipe bursts and drenches her like a rainstorm; after drying herself with a spare towel she always brings in her bag, she stumbles into a deep puddle that she swears wasn’t there moments prior.
“Why does this keep happening to me!!” Though irritated, she is also unnerved and frustrated. Her karma seems to be worse than usual today. Is the divine power really that reluctant to let her achieve her goal?
The ache in her heart, something she’s gotten so good at ignoring, churns fiercely as if to reflect her predicament. Whimpering, she crouches and covers her head with the towel.
“Are you okay?”
Yoshiko wipes her tears away as discretely as possible and pretends to be drying her wet hair before peering up at the stranger. The pretty girl appears to be her age, maybe a bit older, and she has cascading burgundy tresses and a pair of warm amber eyes. She looks oddly familiar, though Yoshiko couldn’t place her anywhere in her memories.
She wants to reply with ‘do I look like I’m okay’, yet she finds herself shrugging. “Yeah, I’m fine, I’m used to this.”
The stranger’s inquiring gaze coaxes her to elaborate. “Bad things tend to happen to me. Heh, I’m probably cursed.”
Rather than the dismissive reaction she usually receives, the taller girl simply crouches down beside her. “How so?”
Maybe it is the stranger’s sympathetic voice, or the fact she genuinely sounds intrigued, for Yoshiko finds herself sharing her life story, about her being a fallen Angel, and her theory on opening a portal that connects the two realms.
“Erm, you probably think I’m weird huh?” She folds her arms in embarrassment, unprepared to have the stranger’s complete attention.
“Not at all. I think it’s very interesting. Who’s to say it’s not true?” The girl has a distant look as she gazes at the sky. “So… you’re on your way to open this portal?”
“Yeah. I found this obscure, abandoned park in the woods over there. My instincts tell me that must be the place!” Yoshiko clenches her fists and lowers her head. “But, I’m kinda nervous. Like I said, the bad luck is worse than usual, so maybe something terrible will happen if I really go there…”
“If you want, we could go together?”
Yoshiko blinks at the girl, both startled by her kindness and a strange prick in her mind. Suddenly, images of places she has never visited before flash across her vision, like an old broken movie.
Paradise was infinitely wide, full of countless places still unexplored and unknown to even the most ancient of Angels. Therefore, she considered it an amazing feat that she managed to locate an ethereal garden, where its exotic flowers felt holy enough to purify any onlookers. As mesmerized as she was, she also sensed a foreboding aura and that compelled her to leave the area in haste.
However, she’s been unable to get the garden out of her head and her heart yearned to explore it again to her heart’s content. She was unsettled by that foreboding aura and thus hadn’t acted until now. Finally making up her mind, she sought the opinion of someone she deemed special above all others.
“If you want, we could go together?”
“Are you sure? Like I said, I sensed something off about the place-”
“More the reason to go with you.” The other Angel’s gaze was unwavering. “You shouldn’t go there alone.”
Unable to turn down her crush’s offer, Yoshiko agreed and brought the burgundy-haired Angel to the Secret Garden. They explored the breathtaking place together, admiring its beauty and relishing its soothing ambience. That foreboding aura was nowhere to be felt, for she was so blissful to be in the company of the person she loved, far away from the scrutiny of others.
There, beside a spring of crystal-clear water, she confessed to her amber-eyed companion and kissed her whole-heartedly. Before the other Angel could respond, the water abruptly turned murky and a heavy fog descended upon them. Intangible ropes, seemingly made of shadows, burst out from the fathomless spring and flew towards them.
Yoshiko managed to push her loved one out of the way before she was captured and her senses became muffled. Even then, she could see that the Secret Garden was crumbling and that several Angels have arrived at the scene. She could feel a shiny presence reaching for her.
“No, save Lily! She shouldn’t have to suffer with me!”
She acknowledged what was happening to her. She had sinned after all, so her punishment was to fall, to fall from the heavens and into the mortal realm. This was all her fault, and hers only.
Let her beloved Lily stay in Paradise.
The dark ropes pulled her down into the abyss and she knew no more.
“H-Hey, are you okay?”
Yoshiko blinks, shaking her head and breathing raggedly. “Lily…”
The burgundy-haired girl flinches, her eyes widening. “What did you just say-?”
The overwhelming sensation alleviates like a deflating balloon and, with it, the images vanish into thin air. Yoshiko furrows her brows and rubs her temple. “Nothing. I just… no, it’s nothing. Anyways, you said… you want to come with me. Are you sure?”
“I’m sure.” Those amber eyes are determined and just a little bit hopeful. “You shouldn’t go there alone.”
Yoshiko grins and takes her hand. “Yoshiko. Tsushima Yoshiko. Thanks for keeping me company.”
“Riko. Sakurauchi Riko,” the girl’s smile is just as pretty as the one in the fading memory. “Pleased to meet you… Yocchan.”

26 or 49 for nozomi/umi?
“It sounds like you’re trying to convince yourself.“ [Prompt List]
A/N: Since 26 was already picked, 49 it is! Ah, a guilty ship, my precious Lily White 。゚(。ノωヽ。)゚。 a simple bliplet, I hope that I’ve captured the pure and mellow sort of dynamic I envision them having (when it’s not crack mode ofc *looks at that MountainClimbing episode)Words: 823
“Here, please have some.”
“Ara, thank you, Umi-chan.”
“You are welcome,” Umi could feel herself relaxing as she sits down on the porch beside her guest. Nozomi reaches for the plate of watermelon slices, her eyes crinkled in mirth. She makes hums of appreciation, relishing in the sweet snack with her cheeks puffed.
Smiling in fondness, Umi herself also begins to eat the fruit meticulously, sat upright in the standard seiza pose. It’s truly fitting, to name it ‘watermelon’, for it does have an ample amount of juice perfect for a hot summer afternoon like today.
The heat wave is enough to make one dizzy under the sun, coaxing residents to take refuge under the shades. With cicadas buzzing in the background and the stifling air all around, Umi could feel tickles of lethargy coaxing her to take a nice, long nap inside the family dojo. She shakes her head slightly and takes another dainty bite, clearing her mind but also steeling it at the same time for what she must do today.
The lack of movement from the corner of her eye catches her attention, and one glance tells her that Nozomi has stopped eating and is merely gazing at her.
“W-What? Is something on my face?” Umi falters, putting down the watermelon skin and dabs at her lips with a napkin. That gaze feels familiar, its paradoxical quality piercing your soul yet soothing it at the same time. It is the same look Nozomi had given her when she…
“I know why you invited me here today, Umi-chan. It’s okay, you don’t have to give me an answer. I can wait.” Nozomi’s smile is kind and patient, and Umi drops her gaze in shame as she fiddles with her fingers.
“No, that is not right. I should give you a proper answer… I should have given you one then, instead of making you wait this long.”
A week ago, Nozomi had confessed to Umi, and rather directly too instead of through her typical riddles. Umi was too stunned to react back then, but at least she was given time to sort through her thoughts and feelings, thus leading to her calling the older girl to the dojo today.
Through their idol activities, whether in subunit sessions or during school setting, she has grown quite fond of the quirky but dependable girl. Nozomi is more than a senpai, more than an older sister figure. She is not just a confidante, but someone Umi wishes to spend more time with and, to become her pillar of strength.
If this were a perfect world, she would have accepted Nozomi’s feelings immediately and embraced her with everything she has.
Alas, the worrywart side of her can’t help but worry about their future, about her responsibilities as a Sonoda, about society’s acceptance of their relationship, and so on. She just does not know how to articulate her concerns, but she knows that she needs to convey her thoughts.
After she manages to finish explaining herself, Nozomi gives her a warm smile.
“It sounds like you’re trying to convince yourself. That’s not how you really feel, is it?”
So easily, she breaks through Umi’s carefully-built wall with that simple gesture and resonating voice. The younger girl purses her lips in chagrin.
“I’m prepared, Umi-chan, but I don’t want to force you either-”
“No! You are not forcing me anything,” Umi reaches for Nozomi’s hand, her voice a pitch higher but unwavering. “You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that you return my feelings too. You are correct, I was trying to convince myself otherwise just so we would not have to confront obstacles in the way of our relationship. It does not matter what difficulties we may face… the bottom line is, I want to be with you. I like you, Nozomi.”
Oddly, Umi does not feel embarrassed by her words. There is nothing ‘harenchi’ about saying the truth. She is simply expressing her feelings from her heart.
“…I’m glad to hear that.” Nozomi lowers her head so Umi could not see her expression. Her hoarse, emotional voice is telling enough, prompting Umi to envelope her in a tight hug.
Filled with contentedness and protectiveness, Umi shyly kisses the top of Nozomi’s head and murmurs. “I suppose I just needed to talk it out, to hear myself aloud… I am on the same page as you are now, Nozomi.”
Nozomi’s responding chuckle has that characteristic playfulness, making Umi smile in relief that the girl’s spirit isn’t dampened by her awkwardness. Peering up, Nozomi slips her arms around Umi’s waist and leans closer.
“So you are.”
Their gazes connect and soon, their lips follow suit.

Yoshiko and Mari 50
“Why does anyone have to be naked?” [Prompt List]
A/N: I looked at the two chars and then at the prompt and laughed for a solid 10 seconds. Anyway, I tried to not make it crack. Tried.Words: 867italics = Mari’s Engrish
“So? How are you feeling?”
“P-Purified…”
Yoshiko sprawls across the couch, which by the way has the softest cushions ever. It’s as if she’s sinking into marshmallow of utter goodness and, to think, she just had a bunch of actual marshmallow dipped in rich chocolate too! It must be a fallen angel’s instinctual attraction to such heavenly attributes.
No, Yohane, you must not be tempted, stay strong!
She tries to get up, but her body is still on strike and she flops back down onto the couch with a half-hearted sigh.
“You really live like this everyday, Mari?”
She peers up at the older girl, who grins down at her playfully. “Of course~ Well, I did tweak a teensy bit to make this the most fantastic experience ever but yes, this is a slice of my life!”
Yoshiko chuckles feebly, unable to comprehend just how wealthy her fellow Aqours member is. After the first ever visit to the amazing Hotel Ohara, Yoshiko had asked if she could come again. The enigmatic blonde happily set aside a Sunday so her ‘precious angelic kouhai’ could experience how she lives her life for one whole day.
So far, everything feels like something from the movies - a milk bath in the morning; a fancy breakfast buffet; a tour around the Hotel’s various 5-star facilities; an incredible spa treatment that almost made the fallen angel ascend to Nirvana; a quick trip to the Diving Shop to greet (read: harass) Kanan (which Yoshiko finds to be unnecessary) that ends with Kanan peeling Mari off of her chest; a mouthwatering lunch service at the penthouse with the perfect view of the sea; a phone call to chat with (read: harass) Dia (again Yoshiko finds this quite unnecessary) that ends abruptly with Dia shouting; and now, a luxurious afternoon tea in Mari’s own private suite.
Yoshiko feels so very spoiled.
“Okay, come on, let’s stick to the schedule~” Mari claps her hands and beckons for the younger girl to follow. “It’s time for a shower!”
“Huh?” Yoshiko says intelligently, having rolled off the couch and crawled a few paces before she manages to get up.
“I always take a shower in the afternoon~ Tada! I’ve even prepared the strawberry-scented lotion in case you don’t like my lemon one.” Mari spreads her arms wide at the sparkly-clean chamber that has various nozzles coming from different directions.
Yoshiko gapes behind the proud girl. Honestly, the whole place is overkill for something as simple as a shower. It looks like a combination of a (very, very fancy) car wash and full-body scan equipment (that has aesthetic decorations of course).
“You… really take a shower like this? Everyday?” Yoshiko has to rub her eyes to ensure she isn’t imagining things.
“Well, I use a different one but I’d come here whenever I feel like it!” Grinning, Mari turns to Yoshiko and begins to pull off the latter’s clothes.
“Yeeeek!!! What do you think you’re doing?!” Yoshiko hugs herself and hastily scrambles out of reach.
Mari tilts her head. “Undressing you duh?” She then proceeds to strip herself.
“Hey hey hey! Stop, stop it now!”
Mari gives her an exasperated look, as if she is the weird one. “What’s wrong? We’re taking a shower, aren’t we? Hurry up, take off your clothes already. Chop chop.”
“Why does anyone have to get naked?!”
Mari blinks. “You take a shower with your clothes on?”
“NO! But you, this-”
“Hmm, it’s kinda cold today… see my goosebumps?”
Yoshiko lets out a string of incoherent whatever, covering her eyes just as Mari takes a step towards her to show her arm, clad in only her undies.
“Stop! Halt! Stay where you are- eck, stop trying to pull off my dress- aaahhh you’re too close!”
With her hands occupied in wrestling for the control of her clothes, nothing blocks her gaze from wandering all over the older girl’s voluptuous body. Uh-huh, nice curves all around, smooth skin, and very endowed-
Screeching again, Yoshiko clenches her eyes shut and is distinctly aware of hot blood rushing to her face.
“Why are you so bothered by this?” Mari’s voice is sweet, and just a bit smug. “We’ve seen each other countless times in the changing room-”
“That was different! We change clothes, not strip naked!” Shit, she’s losing strength. Any minute, the dress would slip away from her grasp and Mari would easily pull it over her head…
“Well, we’re getting naked for a reason. Like I said, people don’t shower with their clothes on, do they?”
“I know that! But people don’t shower together either!”
“Why not? The more the merrier~”
“Argh, you’re impossible!”
“Seriously, what’s the big deal? What’s wrong with us simply taking a shower in our birthday suits?”
“Because I’m goddamn gay that’s why!!!”
With her ears boiling, Yoshiko shrieks out her bottled frustration at the abrasive blonde. Her words echo in the spacious chamber, and the ensuing silence unnerves her enough that she dares to open her eyes.
“What a coincidence,” Mari’s smile now has a sultry curve to it, her purring voice sending a rather pleasant tingle down Yoshiko’s spine. “So am I.”

Wow I have to say… there are so many YoshiRiko requests (and surprisingly quite a few DiaMari). I will of course write the asks I’ve already received but I will stop taking asks of these two ships.
There are 17 prompts so far, I will take 3 more and close this ask.
FYI the Anons who asked for “34 kananxyoshiko” “YouDia, number 43 >:3c”, both were already requested before yours, sorry m(_ _)m
The Prompts already taken: 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 34, 39, 42, 43, 46, 49, 50
Thanks for sending the asks! For those who don’t want the bliplet spam on their dash, I’ll be sure to tag each post “Prompt List Bliplet”, so blacklist them to avoid spamming!
I will try to finish some later today. If not, they will be posted after ep5 airs!

Sorry for asking but I was wondering if you got my ask about the writing prompts as I noticed that number 8 wasn’t in your list - I know that tumblr sometimes eats them or you could’ve chosen to do a different number instead but I was starting to panic a bit that I would miss out. It was a prompt set in the LLSHP AU where Kanan says to Mari that her smile isn’t as bright as it used to be since she was attacked in hogsmeade. But like I said there were 2 other prompts as well...
Yes I did receive your ask Anon! Sorry I should’ve beenclearer in my posts but, since I’m only doing one prompt for each ship, Ipicked #46 out of the 3 choices you sent. The reasons being, there would bemore kanamari scenes in Arc 3, and also since I won’t be able to write aprequel-interlude any time soon, I’ll use this opportunity to present a sliceof the kanadiamari days prior to the rest joining!
Thanks for asking about the LLSHP AU stuff though, alwaysmakes me happy to know people enjoying this AU =)

I read the character prompts short fic's so far andI just wanna say they are really good. I kinda believe that it matches their characters because of the situation at hand.
Thank you Anon! It’s reassuring to hear my characterizations are acceptable. I try to give them as IC as possible in AU too, given the circumstances (⌒ω⌒)ノ

Have you ever considered getting a proof-reader? Not to offend you or anything (I LOVE your works) just that there are occasionally some small grammar mistakes which could be avoided!
Oh I’m not offended at all Anon XD;;; I know my writing has a bunch of typos/grammar stuff that could’ve been avoided if I’m not blind and I had a beta - I’ve actually long considered getting a beta for multi-chapter & longer writing such as oneshots. During my rereads, I cringe at those horrid typos :’D
The issue is, I have only ever worked with @ghikij in the past (which is why my past writings were relatively more refined lmfao), so getting a new beta would take… time to get used to, though I understand the necessity.
Therefore, in conclusion, for any future proper writing (ie. LLSHP AU ch14), when it is completed,I will be asking for beta candidates (I’ll write a proper post about it at that time) and we’ll go from there.
For stuff like impulsive blips though, such as the Prompt List Bliplets I’ll be posting, I’d like to just post them and get them out of my system ヾ(・|

May I ask how can you write so much? I always try to write a small one-shot but it ends up being less than 500 words unless I spend weeks over it and still it'll probably be under 1000 ?? I hope is not rude to ask.
super ironic that I sorta vanished for the past few days after receiving this ask Don’t worry Anon, it’s not rude at all! I suppose it comes for years of fanfic writing. If you peek at this original collab story The Bell Keeper, or even Trials of Kaguya, you’d see one chapter is of monstrous length… iirc, I’ve written an interlude chapter that was 25k words.
Ehehe although, having a high word count doesn’t necessary mean a good thing… more than often, I feel like I ramble too much and could still compress the content better. Even for this Prompt List Bliplet series I’m doing, my intention was to answer each request in less than 500 words.
Well… that’s not what happened eh? *faraway look
