Prep!Bughead 🙅‍♀️ and 🔪 (and 🖋!)

It all happened so fast. The mystery, the river, the siren. And now here she was, dodging her boyfriend’s attacks as she tried reaching beyond his clouded mind.

Looking into his eyes, Betty could see he was in too deep. The hypnotism made his once shining crystal orbs into blank blues.

“It’s no use, human. Nothing can break my charm,” The siren’s voice echoed all around the thick mist. “Not until he kills you, anyway.”

Betty winced as the sharp metal grazed her cheek. Even so, she did not let it deter her from her main objective.

“Can he even see what he’s doing?!” She asked.

A sinister giggle replied. “Why, of course! That’s the best part. It’s always fun seeing you heathens be hit with grief by something that you couldn’t help but do. So, yes, while he’s damaging you from the outside, he’s fully aware of his actions, enough that it’s torturing him from the inside.”

“Got it. Thanks!” The blonde sighed and grinned.

She stopped dodging Jughead’s blows and gave in when he tackled her to the ground. ‘Just as long as I’m aware, I can fight it off,’ was what he once told her and Betty let herself give in.

She stared back at his empty eyes as soon as he raised his knife to the side—a signature move he had when his goal was to slice and not stab—and brought it swing down in less than a second.

Betty didn’t flinch. Not even when the cold blade slightly grazed the side of her neck, the same one Jughead had in his trembling clenched fist, before it was suddenly lifted away and thrown head first like a lethal dart into a random direction in the fog.

The siren’s scream could be heard for miles but Betty only focused on the man above her. His eyes were still clouded and he was still like a breathing rock. When it was obvious he wasn’t going to anything anymore, Betty lifted a hand to cup his cheek.

“Jug?” She asked, carefully sitting up with both her hands now supporting his cheeks.

He didn’t answer, though as the Siren’s cries ceased, Jughead’s shoulders went limp and he slowly slumped forward until he had his head buried into the crook of her neck—the same side he almost cut.

“I’m sorry.” He whispered.

“It’s alright,” Betty hugged him. “I’m okay.”

part two of riverdale info dump (part one)

the core four are over for dinner and fake thornhill then penelope sends them on some missions where archie fights a bear, bee and vee drink poison and are slowly dying and jughead fights chic (imposter brother) for role of game master. betty must shoot her father to survive and she does. after surviving the night they escape the forest and are all traumatized even more. lovely. they talk in pops and with the clashing of milkshakes, we see a flash to spring of next year. around a campfire stand archie betty and veronica in their underwear covered in blood, throwing a bloody crown beanie in a fire. jughead is dead. how? thats yet to be revealed. a few months pass, summer ends and archies dad dies due to the passing of his actor. its a very heartfelt episode and its very well done but stuff goes to shit again. but good things are going for jughead! hes at a preppy school for his writing, attending with a bret weston wallis and donna sweett, who are besties and writers. also mentionable bettys real brother comes to town and guess what, hes also jugheads brother, while bugheads parents are dating. its basically incest but no one talks about it. jugheads class has a competition for ghostwriter and surprise! he gets it and a yale scholarship! thats so good for him, his loved ones congratulate. expect for the fact that it gets him killed. killed dead. bee vee and arch are all so sad, so sad that betty and archie get together! uh oh, it ignites old flames and jugheads not actually dead hes faking his death to prove the legend of stonewall prep. jughead besting death 2/? gifset. barchie cheat on their current partners and bughead and varchie break up around graduation time, which archie is too dumb to be able to do (he didnt have enough time to study with all his running away). 7, yes 7, years later, they meet up again. veronica is married to some guy named chad gekko. betty works for the fbi. archie just got back from fighting in ww1, a 4 year war. jughead published a book but at the cost of becoming and drunk. either way its a very lowkey interaction. jughead gets a job at pops and works with the new tabitha tate and they talk about the mothmen a lot. hm. what could that be? flames are kindled, couples get back and break up and its all a mess but before the season 5a finale we have betty and archie: fucking. archie and veronica: something is there. gay kevin and fangs: having tonis baby. jughead and tabitha: pining and a little kissing and handcuffs. chic and real half brother (charles) are actually gay criminals for each other so they try and kill betty after making her wed them. we get a hiram centric episode and the fans go wild. its only an episode tho, cause cheryl is starting a church to worship her dead brother. the mothmen are actually blossoms who incest incest and um. yeah. anyway pops blows up and they drive hiram out of town as his actor sadly leaves riverdale. hiram is not hiram forever. then archies house blows up and interrupts more barchie sex. now we’re in rivervale? and who is this jughead serling fellow showing us around town? most stuff is similar except the town sacrifices archie to the gods of the forest and no beta he die like jesus on the cross. more horrors haunt the town like the hot british devil, la llrona, and a history lesson on cheryls gay ancestors who is all one ancestor: abigal blossom. now archies alive again. yippee! jughead sees a dead jughead questions rivervale as she knows it and looks up on parallel universes. when archie is revealed as a killer (evil era) betty kills him and her and jughead make out with a bomb under the bed to try and destroy vale. twist tho. remember jughead serling. hes backkkk. he stops the make out ses and tells jughead vale to lock himself in a fuck bunker and write forever or else dale and vale die. by jughead have fun! dying is so fun tho you become a comic character with endless burgers at pops in heaven!

oh my god I need to make a part three of this. for just season 6b. that should be so fun

Betty Mobile Bio

Betty Cooper grew up in Small Town, USA, also known as Riverdale. The girl next door, all star softball pitcher, and real life Nancy Drew rolled up into one person. Riverdale was supposed to be a sleepy little town but that facade blew up the summer she and her friends were supposed to start their sophomore year of high school. The death of Cheryl Blossoms' twin brother, Jason, and the arrival of Hiram Lodge caused Riverdale's dark secrets to come straight into the spotlight which ultimately led to her perfect family unit to implode. 

Amidst the chaos of her family imploding, Betty would find out just how truly imperfect her family was. Her sister was actually sent away because she was pregnant. Her mother had actually been a Southside Serpent when she was Betty’s age. Her father, however, had the darkest secret of all. He was the Black Hood, the serial killer who had terrorized her beloved town.

Come Junior Year, Betty was ready to leave Riverdale behind. She was tired of being made to still feel like she had to be absolutely perfect and she longed for the day when people wouldn’t look at her in fear, wondering if she would snap just like her father would. She got a taste of being on her own when her mother and sister joined The Farm but when her father escaped prison and came after her, in the hopes of completing his grooming, she went under with the organ harvesting cult as well. The Farm prayed upon her fears and made her believe that despite fighting against everything her father tried to push on her, she would still come out as a killer.

Senior year felt the most normal to her and she was so grateful. Her family was adjusting to life back together after escaping from a cult. Polly was finally getting the help that she needed and despite it driving Betty crazy, Alice was right back to her ways of ensuring that everything Betty did was perfect. Her last year at Riverdale High was filled with shenanigans with her friends, college prep, and making sure that the scouts coming out to see her liked what they saw. 

Come graduation, Betty landed a softball scholarship for UC Berkeley and headed back to California to finally get that fresh start she so desperately craved. The city held some happy memories for her as she had enjoyed the summer she spent out there before her life spiraled out of control.

*Please note that while I’m happy to discuss Bughead things, I typically go with the comic portrayal of Jughead in the fact that he is asexual. So most of the time I will write them as partners in crime or best friends unless otherwise discussed.* 

VERSES

Miss Americana: main verse. Betty is a student at UC Berkeley and learning how to be her own person.

Careless Man’s Careful Daughter: verse by request. Betty is a student at Riverdale High, learning about and investigating all of the dark secrets that her small town has to offer with the help of her friends.

You’re On Your Own Kid: verse by request. Betty is a newly sworn in FBI Agent. 

Mosaic Broken Hearts: verse by request. Betty has finally worked her way up into being an investigative journalist. 

Jump then Fall: verse by request. Stranger Things verse. After Betty’s dad was arrested for being the Black Hood, Alice moved them to the Midwest to Hawkins, Indiana where she gets to start her junior year brand new. She jumps into being a part of the school paper and joins the softball team and actually feels like she can finally have a normal teenager experience until she finds out that Hawkins also holds secrets like her hometown does.

Chapter 2 - The Society by SunlitGarden

Jughead’s doubtful that the Society wants to shape society for the benefit of all instead of their own private schemes.

“We could make it better.” Betty’s bare thigh is comfortably draped across his middle.

He pulls her closer, chuckling at the ceiling. “We. I like the sound of that.”

So does she.

They work out a schedule with his roommate. One of the perks about being in the Society is learning the easiest ways to slip under the radar for nefarious activities. Brainstorming and Jughead become her favorite ways of blowing off steam. Whether it’s homework or orgasms, they help each other with everything.
