Prayers if you can spare a moment

I know I don’t really have a lot of mutuals on here, which has historically not been significant to me because I didn’t used to frequent Tumblr this regularly; however, if you are a mutual seeing this, I would appreciate your prayers.

For the first time in my life, I am alone in a unique way. I am in a new city with no family and only a few friends, none of whom I’m close to quite yet. I recently broke up with my significant other of nearly 5 years. I work nights at a challenging job that I am not sure is a good fit for me yet but only time will tell; regardless, it is a source of stress currently. 

Thankfully, I am relatively financially stable and can provide for myself and my dog, and I am so grateful for that; oftentimes, I feel like when I see prayer request posts, they’re usually about situations that externally are much more dire than mine, usually financial in nature. I fear I am experiencing a different kind of poverty.

I know the Lord allows us to experience different chapters of our lives for good reasons; however, I feel like this loneliness is nearly too much to bear. I am an extrovert at heart and love my friends and family, so when a day goes by and I speak to no one, my heart breaks a little. I crave connection and companionship and yet, I’ve convinced myself that I ought to feel guilty for that. I struggle to take care of myself on my days off, letting chores and basic tasks fall to the wayside. 

This is in such stark contrast to how I felt in school that it really frustrates me; in college, I was engaged, involved, familiar with everyone and had a clear plan. Now, my future is murky and uncertain, both career wise and relationship wise. 

I am looking into therapy because this is not my first rodeo and I know I need some extra guidance right now. If you could please keep me in your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated.
