My thoughts: I love a Power Rangers team up! And the Avengers getting in on it is just icing on top really. I really didn't know anyone from NCIS: LA going in, but it was fine. I never read the See the Silence series about Ninja Storm that is part of the fics canon timeline, but I did read Salt, which is just NCIS: LA and Ninja Storm and it was pretty good.

So I’ve been wanting to put this on paper for a bit and I finally did 😁

Dustin’s pokemon team!!

Sandslash is obviously his partner pokemon, very chill, loves digging, and is very agile for fights to keep pace with Dustin.

Pyroar is a nod to his zord, I think out of the “lion” pokemon Pyroar works best cause shes very competitive and maybe a little stubborn

Donphan loves to try to keep up with Dustin on his motorbike, tearing around the track with him and even fixes some of the muddier patches on the track to make riding more fun

Dwebble was picked up not long after he started dating Hunter, its a bug, not exactly a beetle his Hunter’s zord, but Dwebble reminds him of Hunter and incorporates Dustin’s love for rocks and earth

Magnemite is the pokemon most people see Dustin with, it likes to float around the shop with Dustin as he fixes bikes, carrying over various tools and parts with its magnetism

Nincada was the pokemon Dustin got when he first started at the Wind Ninja Academy, he hasn’t quite gotten him to evolve into Ninjask but he thinks the ground type works better for his team anyway

You know, Scoups, as I continue to watch Donbrothers (I'm on ep. 22 now), I am really enjoying it. It's not something I'd normally watch but I find it endearing, especially as I learn more about the characters and their backstories. Definitely gotta say, some episodes have made me take psych damage (ep. 17 and 22 for sure) but also, there are just some really fun episodes, like ep. 18 (you're going to love that episode).

I also really like the Cerebrans, I think they're funky little dudes who are just very interesting. Sonoi is my favorite but Sonoza is growing on me (you'll see why in 21 and 22). I am still unsure about Sononi but she's badass so I like that. I think I need to unpack her personality more.

But, anyways, I just thought I'd say thanks for getting me sucked into this. I don't think you can get me to watch revice (I'll watch through your liveblogs), but I will continue to watch Donbrothers because i'm hooked (which is funny because I hated Power Rangers and this kind of drama growing up. And I watched a few of the actual Japanese versions, not the American renzokus)

I was actually pleasantly surprised and VERY amused when you said you were going to watch episode 12 so you could see the scene between Momoi and Sonoi, cause all I could think was:

"That's how they fkin GET you."

First you watch one episode but then you're invested. And the next episode previews really do be punching you in the face. Like you see that preview and you can't just...NOT watch it.

I was actually quite obsessed with PR growing up. I didn't realize the American version were remakes until like....idk 2011 I think, and that's when I got into the actual OG material.

But even then, there's just something about PR that I always found charming. Cheesy? Lmao no doubt. But charming.

There's heart there.

I actually think one of the biggest influences on my life is tokusatsu. Like anime was one of the big things that sent me hurtling in the direction of life I'm at today, and the thing that got me into anime was Sailor Moon.

And sailor moon was based on Sentai/inspired by it. The author looked at the sentai hero teams and thought, "If I had a bunch of female friends what would I want them to be like?" And made them into a hero team.

And then of course, the PR to sentai so KR pipeline 🤪.

There's a camp of swifties thoroughly convinced that her relationship with Chett is all a beard so that she can still keep touring in the New Christian Republic of Florida, and the interview at the plane was deepfaked.

A different camp of Swifties feels insulted and betrayed that she would be anything less than a paragon of allyship. To them, this is the worst slight the queer community has ever experienced.

A third camp of Swifties insists that she *is* dating Chett, and is also a lesbian. They get insulted that anyone would police Taylor's labels. Comparisons to the Boulder, Colorado shooter are made.

A group of non Swifties tries to point out that everyone is fucking insane and that 'ole taytay regularly tear gases pride rallies to make way for her promenade to stadium venues, and who the fuck cares about this shit and point out that what a billionaire celebrity does for five minutes of PR is not worth your attention or discourse, nor does it warrant harassing other people for the labels *they* use, and isn't it really fucked up that Taylor is making a joke of how people describe their identities? They are promptly doxxed, harassed, and banned.

Bi lesbian discourse is off the charts. Nothing Taylor said has anything to do with it, but it happens anyways.

A lone transsexual who actually goes outside once in a while tweets "hey guys isn't it kinda fucked up that 2.4 billion people have been displaced by mega storms this year that her jet contributes to and is also specifically designed to fly over" and is promptly doxxed and harassed off the platform.

After an exhausting 9 minute plane ride, Tailing Swiffer lands in Columbus for the next performance of her world tour. She unveils a new single that contains the line "ride my horse after dumping him, stepping up onto my SAD dle".

All is forgotten. All is quiet. The Swifties continue as usual, moving on to the next discourse about these lyrics.

I will acknowledge Lalaloopsy doesn’t go out with Storm E and Cloud E being family in their latest appearances, but that doesn’t change that they were designed to be sisters.

Storm E was made to be Cloud E’s sister in Lalaloopsy Girls, marketing emphasized the fact they were sisters, them finding out and accepting each other was family was relevant in the movie!

It’s a different story (much more complicated matter) if an official iteration does it, but this isn’t the case here.
