The observants get scared that he'll figure out how to strip them off their rank and thus enlist the help of the Justice League to track him down. They claim he is a blood thirsty tyrant. This is backed up by Constantine who still thinks Pariah is King. Meanwhile Jason finds a trembling teen in an alleyway. His eyes look so devoid of purpose. He somehow reminds Jason so much of himself that before he realizes it, he's inviting the teen back to his safe house.

Jason didn’t enjoy dying. At all. Like a good 2/10 would not book again. Being resurrected? A solid 0/10. But lately, there’s been something different. About him? About Gotham? Hard to tell, but there’s definitely something strange going on. He can feel it, in his belly, right next to a nicely healed bullet wound from last week. So, when he was forcibly dragged by Dickie to his first family dinner in at least a year, it didn’t come as the worst surprise when he keeled over and vomited up bright, toxic green (embarrassing). After all, he had been feeling a bit off lately. So no, that wasn’t the problem. No, the problem was the humanoid, spiritual-like body that spilled out of his mouth with it. 

Meanwhile, Danny was rather enjoying his day off. First one in at least two years since he took up the mantle of the ghost king. He had originally planned to catch up on some sleep, maybe play some doomed – imagine his disappointment when he was suddenly climbing out of some random guys pie hole. Disgusting. 

Alternatively: Jason’s a portal to the ghost zone, Danny will never have peace.

We all know Danny’s not good at math right? Well I feel like the only math thing Danny would like would be inequalities. He seems like the type to be able to do them in a snap. Once they come up in his math class he perks up and is actually confident in his math abilities for once. That being said he’d also would probably be decent at graphing stuff. He would find graphing to be a bit fun.

Wellness check on Riggy? Like he's being haunted, hunted down, has insane amounts of trauma, constantly getting hurt and his employer doesn't seem to care, lost is kidney (could just be walking around with NO kidney), has been kidnaped, has immense guilt over someone's death that probably wasn't his fault, moved out when he was 18, and he got neglected in his childhood.

Like I've not seen anyone talking about this- He's gone through some stuff and doesn't seem to get a break.

Ok continuing from this post; (I had to reread what I had previously because I had already forgotten lol, moving on)

Continuing, clockwork decides to fuck around, gets Danny a pass into Gotham, and somehow convinced Danny that it's for the best; maybe he says there's some issues Danny has to solve as ghost king(maybe the pits) or maybe he argued that he needs a place to nourish his human side, and hey, there's Gotham, it's a good place, no hunters, plenty of ambient ectoplasm, and he can even go to school, try for living a normal human life, either as cover or to regain balance between both forms. Point is, he explains himself (maybe kinda, dudes usually pretty cryptic), opens a portal and throws Danny through. Maybe he had a place ready for when Danny gets there, it'd have to be in crime alley, our Lady wants her baby to get along with the new king after all.... But it takes a while for the two to actually meet.

Depending on why Danny ends up in Gotham, maybe he's too busy trying to figure out what the hell is up with the pits, and between that and keeping up with school (and really clockwork?? Like he didn't struggle enough the first time, managing school and heroing) and maybe a job for appearances sake, he's yet to actually meet the cute ghost adjecent (is that a word?) That maybe(?) lives on the same building; they keep different schedules after all, and whatever Danny's doing to figure out the pits hasn't registered on the bats radar, maybe he's getting help from technus, idk. Alternatively, he's sent there to nurture his human half and is not coping well, poor dude is depressed as all hell now that he doesn't have as much to distract himself with, after all, college and a part-time jobs have nothing on being kind of the infinite realms, so he goes to class, maybe takes a job at the University library, where is quiet so he had an excuse to not talk with anyone, and overall isolates himself as much as possible.

Either way, it takes a while for him to meet Gotham's very own zombie boy, and when he finally does, whether this happens during a rogue attack, a meet cute at his workplace or when he's spending time on top of high buildings in the middle of the night and worries Jason (who's thinking this dude's about to jump), Danny wants nothing to do with z-boy. Listen, Casper over here lost his whole family plus friends before, he's not eager to make more connections only to lose them as well. Except, once Jason's sure Danny-boys safe (I guess I'm leaning more towards a rooftop meeting), and maybe after Danno ran the fuck or of dodge, he realizes this dude calmed the pits??? And now he really had to figure out who the hell he is and can he please hang out for forever please? He hasn't had a chance to think clearly like this since he clawed his way out of his own grave.

I did say I wanted angst though, I just haven't decided if there's external circumstances or if it's more towards healing from grief and overcoming the suicidal ideation at least Danny must be dealing with. Of course the story develops as they begin to heal and grow past the things that hurt them, with the added that they slowly fall for each other (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

So far that's all I have, but I guess I'll add as more ideas come to me n.n

I love Stakeout (5x17) episode. I really do. You know, all these McDanno moments like sharing food, talking, confessing, arguing and of course being husbands (oh, I love Ruth).

But my favourite moment is in the end. Danny giving Steve a guitar? Yeah, it's great too. But the best is just after that.

When Steve sees the guitar he... Ohh. He says "Danny, Danny, Danny...".

Yeah, sure. It can mean just "Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you" or "Ayy, you're unbelievable, boy" or "Oh, you did it, for me" or "ehh, you didn't have to, you know? but aww thanks".

But I also hear there "I love you, I love you, I love you". I love the tone of Steve's voice in that moment. It's so full of love and friendship and devotion. It's so soft, so warm. And so damn romantic. Yeah, Steve sounds like a lover in a fever. Like a man just kissing his beloved one (and asking for more). I mean, it's so passionate that I can't 😍 And I love that he says Danny's name not one but three times! Danny, Danny, Danny. It's like emphasis. And like mantra. Like a desire to say lover's name over and over again. Steve tastes Danny's name. He loves it. He always loves to call him Danno, Dan, Daniel, sir Daniel, Danny... But this time he says "Danny" in a different way. Like "Romeo, oh, my Romeo" (or should I say: Petruchio? cause sometimes it's like The taming of the Shmuck SuperSeal 😆).

(Has he seen THAT movie? Has he seen 10 things I hate about you and the "guitar scene"? Does he dream about such events, I mean: lovebird 1 buys lover 2 a guitar and lover 2 kisses lovebird 1? Does he dream about kissing Danny? 😉 Oh, Stevie, Stevie, you could then just say "I... I'm really grateful, you know. I wanted to thank you in a... non-neanderthal animal way, I mean... I wanted to be a gentleman" 🤭).

I know that he has been in love with Danny since he met him in his own garage. And yup, it's not a first time when one is doing something sweet and adorable for the other. But in this episode they were SO close. One flat, one room, one couch. No Ohana around. No activities. No danger (like in that episode with them being under the ruined building). Only spying (doing their job) and talking. There was a) we are sitting in the silence or b) we are sitting and talking. And Danny loves talking so... 😉 They were so close physically and also mentally. They were so intimate while confessing things. And Danny was right when he said that thing about Steve. Cause, yeah, Steve sometimes thinks that they're from two different worlds (ah, so romantic 😉). But Danny is right: they are not that different. They share many things, many pains (like losing a brother; Freddie/Matt). They feel each other so well. They're soulmates. And in that episode Steve is like "oh". He knows that Danny's words are true. And he knows that Danny is the best thing in his whole life. He knows that he can always share his secrets with him. But this time he sees it so damn clearly.

So they are so sweet to each other. There is very romantic mood around. There is SOMETHING. They share and share: that couch, food, secrets, feelings, thoughts about each other. And it's all more and more romantic. And Steve is so openhearted, he talks about his old fears and trauma and about the shame. And Danny tries to heal him. They both try - yeah, they don't need that therapy but I think that was a good idea to make them so close again. To make them talk in that intimate way.

So, all is so romantic and in the end boom! Danny gives him that guitar, Danny shows him "I feel you so much, babe and I wanna make you happy and free from traumas". Danny is so cute. So gentle. So gentle that it could make Steve cry. I can imagine that Steve is screaming inside. And that there are butterflies in his stomach 😉 It looks like... something happened. Like... another "something" in their relationship. So romantic something that... Danny, Danny, Danny. Bravo, Williams. More moments like this and this poor boy will finally confess more and more. Will finally confess THAT feeling.

Wow. One damn guitar and we've got McGarrett Romantic Mode On. McGarrett shining like the Sun. McGarrett being so gentle, so much in awe and being... courted by Danny 😊 Oh. My. Poor. Heart.

Ok, confession. You know, I'm not a native English-speaker. And maybe when I hear a word X and think "gosh, it sounds just like word Y" well, I'm wrong. Maybe you would tell me "nah, Ell, no way, two different words, no way". Ok, ok, confession: You know what? When I was watching that episode for the first time, I didn't hear Steve's "Danny, Danny, Danny". What did I hear instead? "Honey, honey, honey" 😁 And I was like:

FAQ on the No Control Z/Backspace challenge on May 19th!

According to the Dannymay calendar, this Friday's challenge day is the No Control Z/Backspacing challenge, better dubbed as the "No Erasing Challenge."

The point of this challenge is to work on drafting skills and to not sit there agonizing about getting the "perfect" curve or crafting the "perfect" sentence. Just write, draw, and move on!

Over on the Discord, we've gotten a LOT of questions about it. So I just wanted to take a few minutes to lay out the official "rules" for the challenge if you were interested in trying it out yourself:

The crux of the challenge is NO UNDOING MISTAKES! No erasing, no control/command Z, no backspace, no undo button of any kind!

For artists, this means no eraser tool either!

Hiding layers is also not allowed.

For writers, moving sentences or paragraphs to a different doc is not allowed

For artists, resizing/moving specific parts of your image (e.g. a hand, a head) is not allowed.

For animation/video makers, the same rules apply. Once you keyframe something, that is it! No moving or removing it!

What IS allowed:

For writers, the "extreme" version of this challenge includes no spellcheck. However, since we're not trying to traumatize anyone with poor spelling, you are allowed to use a spellchecker if you would like. You are NOT allowed to use it for anything other than spelling mistakes.

For artists, the tool that delays your pen and creates smoother lines is allowed, as well as any other keyboard command that assists with lines and curves. However, once the mark has been drawn, you are NOT allowed to remove it.

For artists, while resizing/moving specific parts of your image is not allowed, resizing/moving your WHOLE image is allowed. For example, if you drew Danny posing too close to the edge, you are allowed to pick up the WHOLE Danno to center him. The "extreme" version of this challenge obviously does not include this.

So, I'm looking at this not so wide bed and thinking of how Steve and Danny sleep every night in it, basically curled up with each other. Well, there is enough place for just lying here, but I'm sure that every time they are preparing for their sleep, Steve just hugs Danny and do not let him go every single night. And yes, maybe Danny is not so happy about it at the beginning, but then he got used to it and really starts liking it.

Also, I'm thinking about how they argued for the first time who will be the big spoon and the little one.

Yes, I know that in this picture Steve is hurt, poor baby. But it's for the best, Steve, you don't need Catherine in your life when you have your Danno
