It's hard to tell what your 'husband' is thinking. Most of the time he stands quietly behind you, looming over you, watching you closely. Sometimes you don't even know he's there until you accidentally bump into him looking up to meet his serious face.

This is his first time having a 'wife'.

All the harpy knows is that it has something to do with you. He watched you from the bedding stitching and sewing up holes that you had found in the blankets used in the nest.

Larry ponders. His black feathers fluffed as he watched you idly. Perhaps this feeling is a need to spoil you? As the main 'breadwinner,' he brings back fish or game for dinner. But it has been quite a while since he brought back sweet fruits and the human treats He finds from human camps that you like.

With The sudden need to see the smile and his wife's face He gets up from the nest his feather is no longer fluffed as he prepares himself to take flight in search of gifts.

You didn't even notice that he had awoken until the wrestling of feathers and the flap of his wings caught your attention. Oh you saw was a black blur going into the distance.

"A little early for dinner."was all you said under your breath before You go back to your chores.

Keeping the nest nice and tidy for your husband's return.

You might as well start a fire in the fire pit in the cave while you wait for your Harpy husband to bring back supper.

He thought spoiling you is what His body wanted... He was wrong in the middle of gathering ripened fruit, His heart ached even more. That's familiar feeling of what he felt before he had met you, that cold gnawing on his bones of loneliness.

All the more grateful that he has you. What kind of mate would he be if he rushed back to his home empty-handed? Harpies are prideful of their ability to provide for their partner. And Larry takes it very seriously.

You heard his landing when you turned around, just about to start the fire. You are welcomed by seeing your husband standing straight-faced fruits in his arms. Flowers all over his jet black feathers, white, pink, and purple flowers all over his slicked back hair and chest feathers. Your precious smile was a wide across your face as you try to hold back your laughter.

As quick as he left he came back. Memorizing all your favorite fruits by heart, sadly he has not found any human treats, which is okay because he doesn't think they are too healthy for you

It was hard enough to find ripened fruit since most of the trees just bared the flowers, so he really had to dig into those trees to get the ripest fruit.

"Home" was all he said walking over to hand you his spoils.

You smile the pale pink flowers making you chuckle as you pick one off his head putting it behind your ear.

"Was this intentional?"You ask.

"The fruit yes, The flowers got stuck in my feathers." He answered bluntly

You take the fruit from his arms; here, you thought he went to find dinner. Putting the fruit down, you thank him, wrapping your arms around him, holding him close.

Intentional or not It was a cute surprise. He did not know humans liked flowers this much. Noted. He knows that some harpies use trinkets and flowers to decorate their feathers to attract mates in his personal opinion on him it looked silly; however it looked much cuter on you. That little pink flower nestled behind your ear was irresistible.

Before you could part from him, Larry raps his arms around you pulling, pulling you back into him. He easily picks you up, wordlessly carrying you back to the nest.

Feeling you so close to him calms the ache in his chest. This is what he wanted.

"w-wait! Now?! Larry, I'm still sore."You panic, only for him to shake his head. With his head nuzzling into your shoulder, he mumbles.

"No. No mating, I just want you."

His jet feathers kept you warm as you laid into his wing like a pillow. He encased you in a feathery wing cocoon, picking off the flowers from his head and chest and nestling it into your hair, decorating you. You had your fun seeing him look silly now he wants you to wear all these flowers He rolls you onto his chest with his back into the nest to get a better look at you. His taloned hand held your hip, and another one grazed into your hair.

His eyes widened, and you could just barely see a small smile creep on his lips.

You were gorgeous.

How could you be even more irresistible than you already were before?

He rolled you onto your back, pressing you down into the nest. Larry's lips met yours.

"I changed my mind."

Pokemon Characters and Date Ideas

Basically: what dates would these Pokemon characters do with you? Characters: N Harmonia, Leon, Grimsley, Rika & Prof. Augustine Sycamore

N Harmonia

Was honestly showing affection and did private, one-on-one hangouts together even before you two started dating

It was around this time he got more affectionate in your friendship. Resting his head on top of your hair, deep eye contact (which he was often really bad at), and braiding/playing with your hair or vice versa.

It wasn’t until you “officially” ask him out and he cocks his head to the side like a confused puppy and goes “I thought we already were?”

Confusion ensues.

As for dates, N is a really quiet and private guy. He doesn’t like being out in public or in overstimulating environments.

Most of the time dates are hikes, picnics, exploring, all that the fun outdoorsy stuff where he gets to shine in his element.

Occasionally y’all go to Nimbasa City and go on the Ferris Wheel or play at the arcade in the Amusement Park which you both find enjoyable.

But his favorites are on late nights when neither of you can sleep.

You two will just go to Dragonspiral Tower and stargaze at the top of the ruins or watch the local wild pokemon do their thing.

It’s quiet, it’s fun, and he’s with you. What else could he ask for?

Leon

Dense boy, you probably had to beat him over the head with a book to get his brain to understand (mostly bc he keeps accidentally friend-zoning himself)

Has never really dated before?

Like, Rose set him up on dates because it's good publicity but he probably hasn’t gone on a real date.

He has money, all these brand partnerships and stuff. He tries to do really classy stuff when y’all first start dating but it leads to him being clearly uncomfortable and you getting fed up and explaining you like him for him and to do fun stuff together.

Mostly home dates from that point on or outings that don’t feel like “dates”.

Game nights where you two play video games are super fun. Some days are challenge days where you see who can do the best run on a Roguelike or who can win the most rounds of a battle royale type game

Some days are cozy co-op games where you solve puzzles and create things…

Y’all’s favorite thing to do together though is just walk and get lost. Esp with Leon’s terrible sense of direction, you two find weird hole-in-the-wall places that are so much fun.

The best one you found was a great hole-in-the-wall traditional kantonian ramen bar that was on the edge of going out of business. However, due to you and Leon talking about it so much with friends and posting about it online, you saved the shop from going out of business.

Grimsley

Your first date with Grimsley wasn’t really what you were expecting in all honesty

He took you out for lunch at his favorite Kalosian cafe then took you to a bookstore and had you both pick out different books for each other, then went to his house and read while old records played in the background

Of course, the book he picked out for you was one of Shauntal’s (because gotta support your friends/little sister figure)

It was so different from what you were expecting but so sweet at the same time.

Most common dates are drinks at bars after long days or flower viewings knowing you would like them

He also takes you to his favorite spots whenever he visits Alola with you.

But the most fun dates are when the two of you go to Castelia or Nimbasa to the casinos

You both are given the same amount of money and the challenge is who makes the most in time for your dinner reservation

Whenever the two of you see each other during these you have a habit of teasing the other about who’s in the lead.

In the end, the winner pays for dinner (much to the chagrin of the other)

Rika

She’s the one who asked you and was super casual and blunt about it

Picks you up after work and takes you to the store where the two of you talk about what to make for dinner.

The two of you go back to her place and begin cooking together, smiling and chatting the whole time as the two of you get distracted by cutting veggies and being in each other’s company.

From then on dates were mostly cutesy, one-on-one time for the two of you.

Crafts while watching movies are the most common, sewing, embroidery, sketching, it's just fun and relaxing

Ceramics classes too, wet clay on your hands and you rub it on her face. Only for her to cock her brow and smirk as she cups her face with her filthy hands and kisses your nose.

Her favorite dates are the ones when you get to help her at the Academy. Running after-school activities or working in the library

It combines her admiration of her students and her love of you… her two favorite things

Prof. Augustine Sycamore

Honestly over the moon when you accepted to go on a date with him

The man is in his late 30s/early 40s and his last relationship kinda fell apart really badly

*cough cough Lysandre cough*

So he was out of the dating scene for a while and didn’t exactly know what to do when you said yes

Like, his brain crashed and did a hard reset. He was not expecting to get this far…

He gives all his employees off one day and decks out the backyard of his lab with string lights, and sheets, rummaging around the attic of the lab, and a call to his favorite restaurant.

When you arrived you saw the backyard completely transformed into a cozy outdoor movie spot with takeout and snacks prepared at a picnic table

It’s super sweet

Besides that, you two go on “research” dates together. It’s mostly pokemon watching and taking notes on what you find.

Raihan is a pretty outgoing kind of guy

He loves it when you are bouncing around when you are alone with and/or with your close friends

It took him a while to figure out that you have Social Anxiety

He realized it while you two were on your third date

He had already ordered his food and was waiting for you to be done ordering

It took him a hot second to hear you stuttering over some of your words

He put a hand on your shoulder and told you to text him what you wanted and he will order it for you

He told the worker to make it a to-go order so that you two can eat together quietly until you felt better

That was your plan whenever your Social Anxiety was starting

You would just text Raihan since it is easier and quicker than writing it on paper

That solution also comes in handy when you meet newer people and when his fans swarm him

Gordie

Gordie is anxious himself sometimes as well

Just not to the extent of yours

You and Gordie were shopping for clothes for you to wear to meet his family

You couldn't find your size for a shirt that you liked

You didn't want to distract a worker from what they were doing at that moment

Gordie asks you if you would like him to ask a worker if they have your size for you

You nodded your head and he did just that

Luckily they did have your size in the back

You were very anxious while meeting his parents

But as time went on you warmed up to them

Gordie could hear the confidence in your voice change when you were no longer anxious

Afterward, he let you know that he is proud of you

Milo

Milo is not a big talker, but he will talk enough for both of you when your Social Anxiety gets bad

He will always have something for you to fidget with while you try and calm your anxiety

Sometimes it's a small Wooloo plush and other times it's his hat or one of his big hands

If you were out and about by yourself and your Anxiety started and you couldn't handle it

Once you got home you would go outside to the pasture and play with the Wooloos

Sometimes you lose track of time and end up falling asleep and Milo carries you inside and puts you to bed

You try to apologize to him when you wake up, but he won't allow it because he has definitely fallen asleep a few times in the pasture

He just loves watching you and some of the local kids play with the Wooloos on his farm

Rika's Clodsire is basically the Pokemon universe equivalent of a derpy Black Lab that is always excited to see people and let's kids climb on top of it. He may not be bright in the slightest, but he's an innocent boi. Imagine.... Lance Confessing To You After You Become Champion

Author's Note: Since my other account @cheekyredwillow got deleted. I am adding some of my favorite fanfictions to this account and revamping this one with new ones. I hope to make an actual list of fandoms I am still a fan of! NO requests for the time being.

On to the imagine. Imagines are short blurbs of a character in a scenario with you.

Imagine you enter the pokemon league with the team of favorite pokemon in the Johto region. You have spent constant months on building a team you would love and here they are. All 8 badges and now the league.

Imagine the nerves you get when entering the league as this is a test of all your hard work. All this hard work is going to pay off. And then you'll see him again.

Imagine your heart leaps in excitement as you thought of the dragon tamer Lance. Lance - the one who helped you throughout your journey from Team Rocket to your gym badges. The many mini conversations you two had about other things. It felt like you two had a connection.

Imagine your team beats every gym leader with ease and you stand at the last obstacle. Lance. The Champion. Your chest is heavy with anticipation and also a bit of excitement to see him again.

Imagine as you enter the Champion room Lance turns to you and you notice a faint blush on his cheeks. He smiles brightly at you. Before you begin, he congratulates you on making this far and being impressed by you.

Imagine Lance's hands are a little shaky as seeing you again sparks the fire that the crush on you had. This anticipation to ask you out but waiting till you complete the League so you could focus.

Imagine you enter your fight with Lance. The battle takes longer than the past ones. Both of you are equally the same level and experience. You two can fight and challenge one another.

Imagine you two are at your last pokemon. A Dragonite on his side and your starter pokemon on the other. You tell your starter to hit a big move as Lance yells a hyper beam. Both moves hit and your starter is the last one standing.

Imagine Lance congratulating you and telling you that you need to put your name in the records. He shakes your hand and holds it tightly to show how proud he is.

Imagine after you register your name in the records as a new Champion that Lance is waiting for you. You are surprised and he is blushing. He stumbles on his words and confesses he has had a crush on you for a while.

Imagine he explains that he did not confess due to not wanting to get in the way of your adventure to become Champion. But now that it is over, he would like to take you on a date. To show how much he has a crush on you. You say yes and the two of your exchange numbers to set up the date.

“When was the last time Leon and I had time off?”, you thought to yourself while you and your boyfriend lounged in the field near his childhood home, both of your guy’s pokemon were either running around playing or lounging around the tree with the two of you. The two of you had taken the week off to visit with his family and spend some time together. You were leaned up against a tree while Leon had his head resting in your lap giving you the chance to play with his long fluffy hair. You’d gone from just combing through it to absentmindedly making small little braids in it. You soon feel a little nudge to your side as you look down to see your Bellossom next to you holding an armful of small colorful flowers in her arms. Carefully while trying to stifle your giggling you take a few flowers and start to work them into the braids you’d already made and into the one you’re working on, you knew Leon wouldn’t be waking up from his little nap till it was time to go inside to eat so you had plenty of time to incorporate all of the flowers in and sneak a little picture on your phone to make your wallpaper later. By the time you finish his head is practically covered in flowers. You eventually hear Hop loudly call for the two of you to come inside because lunch was ready, meaning it was time to wake up the sleeping man in your lap. You carefully start to shake his shoulders while saying through the chuckling, ”Leon, sweetheart it’s time to head back inside it’s lunch time. Don’t want to leave everyone waiting, do you?” Beginning to stir from his slumber Leon seems to notice the mischievous smile on your face replying, “Ok I’m up I'm up, what's got you all giggly love? Did I say something silly in my sleep again?” “No buuuut you may want to take a moment to check your hair when we get back inside”, you slyly say as you wiggle your half asleep legs out from under Leon’s head and shoulders. Standing up and recalling your pokemon you give yourself a head start back to the house before he notices the first flowery braid that falls in his face.

With a big smile on his face, and walking off like he didn’t just say that.

You’re left dumbfounded, until you’re on the subway having just got off work, meeting him just as he is too! Just outside gear station and he just

In such a soft voice, looking at you so tenderly with a small bit nervous smile.

Realizing, oh shit he meant it-

Cause yeah he’s a little chaotic, and his forwardness can be intimidating, and his bluntness could be seen as rude.

But he’s Emmet.

Dorky Emmet, sweet Emmet who’s smile quivers trying to work up the nerve to ask you out. Who remembers all your favorite things, remembers all those things you’ve infodumped on him.

Who lets out soft squeals when you do something nice for him, or even just give him a random gift cause it reminded him of you.

Soft Emmet who takes you out on a nice but cause date, and starts fiddling with his hands, blushing and not meeting your eyes before blurting out,

His face bright red.

When it comes to kissing for some reason Emmet becomes a wet pile of nervousness. Kissing is a very close and intimate act unlike the other things he has done to you he actually feels very nervous about if you'd like it or not. So after his lips touch yours he would always quietly ask "Did you like it?"

Before he comes in for a kiss or he wants to kiss you, his eyes refused to meet yours while his cheeks become flushed with red, over the years; he has always gotten better at direct eye contact, though for some reason, he feels so nervous to look you in the eye when he wants to kiss you. When he finally does kiss you, he wraps his arms around you and kisses you deeply, and when he finally gets a taste of your lips, he always goes in for more. It's never just one kiss. It turns into two, then three, before he's finally satisfied. Feeling the aftermath of his heart fluttering in his stomach, he holds you close, nuzzling himself against your body.

However when he's kissing parts of your body that's a different story he just can't help but give you a quick peck on the cheek or the forehead; he's very Unapologetic about it in public as well. If you're the type to be shy about PDA and try to stop him, he will pout, "No one's watching, just one kiss?". No, Emmet it's never not just one kiss. If you finally give in, he'll trap you within his hold and pepper your face with kisses. Every time he kisses you on the cheek before he leaves work he always wants to just forget work and cuddle you for the rest of the day but he knows that his brother will come hunt him down.

Despite Emmet being very shy about kissing you on your lips he craves it almost as much as Pokémon battle. Blowing up your phone about how much he misses you and he wants to kiss you on his lunch break. He is a needy Joltik man. Wanting your constant love and affection. Even playfully demanding it.

Looking through the Sinnoh Pokédex felt like a great start for you, with an attachment for Diamond/Pearl. Quite a few pokemon on the list stuck out to me, but Gastrodon stuck out the most. Gastrodon is known as the “Sea Slug” Pokemon and are water/ground types. I decided on the East Sea form because you don’t see that kind very often. Though none of it’s pokedex entries talk about its personality, I see it as a more quiet affectionate pokemon, something that would fit well with your ambivert personality.

Gastrodon is unique in a way, each of its two forms have separate dex entries depending on the games, though there seems to be a trend throughout the entries that Gastrodon used to have a sturdy shell on its back, which is interesting in its own right. For the East Sea Form, in pokemon Ultra Moon, it expands on the shell concept stating, “A relative of Shellder and Cloyster, this ocean dweller sometimes comes onto land in search of food.” While in pokemon Shield it states “Its body is covered in a sticky slime. It’s very susceptible to dehydration, so it can’t spend too much time on land.” I can picture a very cute scene of you watering your Gastrodon like a little plant.

Ex-Trainers to Lovers

Raihan

You haven't been back to Galar since you were 16. Your family moved to Unova after your 16th birthday. You had to say goodbye to everything and everyone you knew.

You were especially upset to be leaving your trainer buddy Raihan. You knew that it wouldn't be the same now as it was back then. You met up with Raihan at a coffee shop near his home and decided to catch up.

"How was Unova? Did you make a new trainer buddy while you were there?"

You sighed and looked at him.

"You know that I could never replace you, Rai. You were and will always be my only trainer buddy."

"I know. It's just that it felt empty without you here. Leon is fun to battle, but it's just not the same."

You put your hands on his hands which makes him look at you.

"Rai, your feelings are valid. Now how about I tell you about the twin subway masters I got to battle."

~11 months later~

You were in the stands watching Raihan and Leon battle.

Of course you were wearing your Raihan merch and cheering him on. You noticed how he was off his game during the battle. After it ended you ran to the locker room. You knocked and the door opened, so you walked in. You saw Raihan with his head in his hands and you sat down next to him.

"If you don't want to talk about it that's okay."

That's when Raihan kissed your cheek.

"I'm in love you, Y/N. If you don't feel the same way then I completely understand. I understand because we haven't seen each other since we were sixteen."

You kissed his cheek and he looked at you with a surprised expression.

"I've never stopped loving you, Rai."

You and Piers were once rival trainers. Throughout the years many thought you and Piers hated each other. But it was all a fun game to you two. After Piers became a gym leader you two slowly drifted away.

You were walking around a clothing store in Spikemuth and spotted Marnie. She saw you and the two of you started talking. That was until Piers showed up to check on Marnie.

despite his work as a member of team rocket, james is an incredibly sweet and attentive partner — the type who has a keen memory for everything you love and who will do anything he can to boost your confidence and make you smile whenever you’re together (he’s your #1 cheerleader even if he isn’t the most confident in himself most of the time — but he’s working on improving that with your help)

he doesn’t talk about his family, or his past in general, all that often but he when he does he always has something positive to say about his grandparents (his parents and ex fiancée less so, he loves his parents but they aren’t on the best terms at the moment and jessiebelle is, well, jessiebelle and enough is said about that) — and when you finally met ‘nanny’ and ‘pop pop’, they absolutely adored you (both as your own person and because of how happy you make their sweet little grandson)

if you wear makeup then he’s more than happy to help you put it on or perfect a look — he has a keen eye and a steady hand that comes in handy if you struggle with symmetry — and on a similar note he’s also happy to let you put makeup on him or to do his makeup alongside yours (he’s far from opposed to dressing up, cross-dressing, or wearing costumes with you, after all)

james loves using terms of endearment with you, to the extent that you’ll rarely even hear him say your first name unless it’s a necessary formality (like a first introduction or for a dinner booking), and they range from cutesy to traditional depending on his mood — for example, when he’s feeling dejected and clingy after being scolded by giovanni then he’ll curl up on your lap and call you ‘hun’ and ‘sweetie’ as he vents his woes to you, but when he’s in a more flirty mood then he might dip you in his arms and call you ‘darling’ or ‘sweetheart’ (context matters more than anything here, but he has been known to use just about any pet name in any situation)

he’s a complete gentleman and will go the full nine yards to woo you even after you’ve been officially together for what feels like forever — partially down to his upbringing and the expectations pushed upon him by it, and partially because he’s just that sweet — which includes him doing things like: bending down and kissing the back of your hands/each of your knuckles, opening car doors for you and helping you step out, holding doors open for you in whatever building you’re in, buying you flowers whenever he can scrape together the funds to do so (he may have been born wealthy but nowadays, not so much), offering you his coat whenever you mention being cold, and other things along those lines

jessie has caught him staring at you, or staring into nothingness whilst clearly thinking about you, more times than she’d ever care to count and this eternal puppy-love state has caused the trio to mess up on missions because james is just too distracted to stick to the plan — it would be adorable in any other situation but it usually frustrates her to the point of anger because that mistake was so avoidable, why can’t you just be normal about them for ten minutes?

when it comes to sleeping, james isn’t too bothered about what position you drift off in as long as the two of you are cuddling — he can fall asleep wherever he is, and being in a proper bed for the first time in weeks helps, but he sleeps most peacefully when he can hear your breathing and can feel your weight and body heat right up against him when he’s with you

whenever his team fails a mission, or he’s scolded by someone, you’re the first person he gets in contact with — either finding a phone to call you or stumbling sadly through your door and collapsing in your arms and just… staying like that for a while as he briefly lets himself forget what had left him feeling so low (you’re his rock, really, and he’d do the same for you if you needed it, but for now all he needs is to hear your voice and know that you still love and accept him as he is — despite all of his mistakes and failures)
