hmmm depends on why the darling is frightened tbh are they always afraid or is this started after cerelos took them the first time? i do imagine he'd be pretty upset and even offended, though he won't outwardly show his feelings. he'd probably start ordering the servants to disappear whenever the darling is in sight, be invisible, to further isolate them, to force them either to face their loneliness and/or accept cerelos as their emperor and husband. since humans are in nature social, they'd naturally long for some form of company and possibly some skin to skin contact.

in short, since the coecrced sex doesn't seem to do enough, cerelos would've likely infict some psychological damages on his darling to force them to accept him. he wouldn't be…physically abusive, no, but he will emotionally and mentally cripple his darling without relying on cruel words and uses some amount of gaslighting.

regardless, you will only have him and you will love him. he is, after all, your emperor and husband. why wouldn't you embrace him and his power?

GMMTV 2024 Part 1 roundup :)

it's been a day, i've had some time to gather my thoughts, so i wanted to get them all down in one spot. (Only really gonna be talking about the shows I plan on watching, in order that they were announced!)

1. We Are the series

aka ALL my favourite couples in one show ahhh 😭😭 i was so happy when the trailer started, you mean i get winnysatang marcpawin pondphuwin AND aouboom all in one??? i wanna be a bit cautious seeing it's directed by p'new and i'm not a huge fan of his work, but i'm super excited for this regardless :] looks like a cute romcom à la futs, which i rlly loved <3 i WILL be hyping this up no matter how it turns out :D

2. Only Boo!

rookie leads !!! strong msp vibes with this one (which i'm not opposed to at all, and i'm pretty sure is what they're trying to emulate) it looks rlly cute?? i know keen is from proj alpha so at least i'm not worried about the singing/dancing for once 😅😅 and we get aun in the side cp!! and louis dance role!! honestly this could turn out rlly good and i'm gonna tune in to at least the first few eps :)

3. Peaceful Property

The second tay slapped new in the face with the sandwich and jan instantly had her camera out, i was 100% sold. but fr, i love horror comedy and ghost stuff, and we get it with taynew + mook and jan!! all the dynamics look like so much fun and i already know i'm gonna enjoy this a lot

4. My Golden Blood

OH MY GOD THIS SHOW i went for a dinner break during the performances, then came back and was planning on just quickly skimming through the livestream to catch up. well, the first 20 seconds of the trailer played, and once i realised what was happening (JOSSGAWIN BL HELLOOOO????) i had to pause and faceplant on my bed for a solid 5 minutes to process it. vampire series would have already had me hooked, but jossgawin??? looking super gritty?? mond evil vampire moment?? neo with a baseball bat (in his sand era🤨)?? gawin my fav in another lead role??? Also the bloody kiss !!!!! guys i'm dead i'm literally writing this from the grave (hoping to meet my own hot vampire guy) Basically i dont care if the cgi's a bit questionable or if the story's cliche, i WILL be eating this up, be ready for it to be my whole personality

5. Kidnap the series

OHM!!! my day one!!! 😭😭 so he was hanging out with leng a couple months ago and i was wondering ahaha what if...? AND NOW !!! WE ACTUALLY GOT OHMLENG !!! i'm rlly happy to see him back to bl, and i like how he stars opposite lots of different ppl (just like gawin). The concept actually seems rlly interesting + more mature, leng is gorgeous and seems like a good actor, and the tied hands sleeping scene totally had me sold on the pairing <33 also ohm squared siblings !!! i rlly like ohm tpk :) and PAPANG WITH A GUN WOOOHHH i said i needed more papang on my screens and my wishes have been answered 🙏🙏 i'm gonna be so annoying about this show as well once it airs ahjskdjfh

[5.5. special mention: Summer Night]

gmm knew Exactly what they were doing with those first 30 seconds 😭😭 i was rlly getting hyped up for a dunkphuwin show but ofc it was too good to be true <//3 not gonna be watching this, but i'm still holding out for a joylada poly show at some point... pls gmm 🙏🥺🥺

6. Wandee Goodday

Okay so I saw the GreatInn lore a couple months ago (guys pls read it here it's insane), and i didn't think too much of it because it did seem kinda random, BUT HERE WE ARE WOOOHHHH this show looks so good??? Great with braids <3 ployphach <3 podd homewrecker era <3 mature bl with adult characters <3 directed by golf tanwarin <3 and even more good things!! also i have no idea what the song in the trailer is but it goes so hard, rlly suits the show. i'm all for this pairing and the whole show looks like so much fun Also thorfluke!!! (thor out here collecting all the flukes - thorgawin for 2025??) loved the situp scene and i'm rlly vibing with this pair <3 another show that will be all i talk about once it airs

7. High School Frenemy

God what is that name 💀💀 definitely one where just a literal translation of the thai name would have probably been better names aside, sky and nani !!!! i rlly liked sky in some other shows, and i'm loving the tension between the two. lol i had ohmsky and ohmnani on my gmm24 bingo, i guess we just got it without the middle man 😂😂 also i see they're pulling a double savage with the bromance toeing the fine line of bl hajskdj honestly i don't mind that at all, i think sky and nani have good chemistry and it doesn't seem like there's a random female side wedged in for drama. also so many of my favs as side characters, i'm happy to see them <3 overall, i'll probably watch it if i'm not too busy when it's airing (or just bingewatch it after)

8. My Love Mix-Up!

Gem4th series announced last, who's surprised lmao. this looks very cute!! i know nothing about the source material, but gemini and fourth are great actors, and i trust p'au's directing. i was hoping for something a bit more mature for them (like heartliming was) because i think they're so good in those heavier scenes, but i rlly don't mind this either !! i've been on a kick for less high school bls lately though, but i had the same thought for msp and that ended up being one of my fav shows of all time, so i'm not gonna go into this with any preconceived notions :) gonna tune in for this, no doubt gem4th will serve like they always do

Overall, i was rlly pleased with the lineup this time around. Lots of shows i'm rlly excited for !! a bunch of my favs didn't show up even once which... yeah, but i'm holding out for part 2 🤞🤞 :)

Ohh so k-pop does get overwhelming at times like keeping up with all of their comebacks and activities does take a toll on the psyche 🤧 i took a small break of sorts back in 2021 just to get a breather and instead focus my energy on books :') the whole pandemic situation and the lockdown was beginning to get to me + i had to deal with an academic burnout but !! things are definitely better now.

OKAYY so it took me a lot of time to finalise a bias in nct dream and tbt all nct units unghhh i lobe them all but my nct dream bias as of now is renjun. this man has me wrapped around his finger and activates the heart eyes WDYM HE HAS A PRETTY VOICE HES AN ARTIST HE'S PRETTY HE'S SHARP TONGUED AND HE'S A TOTAL SWEETHEART LIKE HE'S SO CARING 100% BFF/BF MATERIAL :( FDIBCFBN GOD HAS HIS FAVOURITES ALRIGHT and oml don't even get me started w the yangyang and renjun interactions im still reeling from when they did this.

In 127 i have a soft spot for the vocal line lol so i usually bias whoever's in the vocal line for a particular song (DO THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT SO HARD TO CHOOSE THO). rn it's jaehyun bc I'm obsessed w his voice (it's his first few lines in good thing <33)

Oof faded in my last song just hits so hard and it hurts so bad the songs so deep. It's one of my favourite nct u songs that and baby don't like it (again. hoe anthems >>>) for 127 it's either heartbreaker (bc it's hyuck's world and we're just living in it) or good thing (bc jaehyun.) kpop does get overwhelming sometimes dfkjlas but also i just kind of got bored for a bit so i didnt feel motivated to check up on it in so long,, but now i just found the excitement again and i feel the same i did when getting into it for the first time its so amazing. i got into kpop just before the pandemic started, so it was something that was keeping me going during the lockdowns and shit :) i am glad you're feeling better now, though!

OUR BIASES MATCH AAAAAAA #besties fdlksaj renjun is literally the love of my life i think us two are similar in a lot of things (our zodiac signs, personalities, interests, anger issues...) so i think loving him so much helped my selflove djfkla this sounds weird but its true to some extent?? AND DONT MENTION THE CAMPING TRIP VIDEO IN FRONT OF ME ITS MY COMFORT VID AAAAA everything abt it is so wholesome,,, their little karaoke sessions, the shopping, the cooking,, them switching languages every now and then,, also yangyang singing i'm gonna love you by d.o. is stuck in my head that moment felt special.

oh my god ur post about being uncomfortable around ppl who know you and everything from ghosting and to moving accounts and tumblr being the only safe social media bc of its anonymity,,, i've been struggling with this for years and i didnt even know it had a name of its own, i thought it was just how i was or maybe a symptom of regular anxiety at worst and idk if this is something you'll relate to but its especially anxiety inducing for me when ppl who know me from different settings meet and i suddenly have to reconcile who i am with both people, or how ive always been okay with strangers seeing my art but never ppl that actually know me bc then theyd know too much. anyways sorry this is rambly and ik u said what u like abt this site is not having to talk to anyone so pls dont feel pressured to respond i just had to write this down somewhere bc it is a Revelation

im glad you could relate to my post (which i deleted, sorry😭) on some level bc i know how great it can feel to be seen or understood by others in that sense. i feel the exact same way as you in terms of struggling with people from different social circles meeting, thus making you reconcile different sides of you in a way... i feel like that's an experience a lot of people have, not just limited to avpd or neurodivergence or anything, but it really is such an alienating conflicting kind of feeling. this was especially hard for me whenever i'd date anyone because other than when i dated a friend we all knew, my close friends would always want me to introduce my partner and even if that was perfectly reasonable i was always just internally like sorry i can't do it.... i can't let any of you meet one another. right now im wondering if that was one sign i wasn't all too ready to be in romantic relationships (and im still grappling with my conflicted feelings abt romance and being single rn). that was a huge tangent on my end lol but im just like you, i actually thought i was struggling with general anxiety for nearly forever!!! so the diagnosis for avpd was kind of shocking ... but also made a lot of sense in retrospect. though even right now, after several months, i don't quite know how to deal with it bc i can't afford therapy rn. but the label and knowledge abt it has been useful nonetheless. there isn't as much research on it and it's not as widely talked about, so i'm still trying to figure out what will help me out.. probably DBT (because CBT tends to stress me out for some reason). ANYWAYS that was another tangent ... im not saying you should say you have avpd or anything bc really there are so many overlaps with general anxiety, social anxiety, avpd, and even other personality disorders but !!!! i am just glad my random vent resonated with you and helped you reflect on things. im always trying to reflect too, since this is something i struggle with pretty much everyday in more aspects than just social life, so it's really nice to hear from you :-) making each other feel less alone :-)

thank you, love!! sorry these are taking so impossibly long and also that this is plotless, but here's almost 800 words because i am incapable of writing short things!

Steve had always been fascinated with Bucky’s hands.

They were a juxtaposition, an expression of two sides to the same coin. To Steve, they were so much of who Bucky was as a person.

Where Steve’s hands had always been long-fingered and delicate despite the frequency of his bruised knuckles, Bucky’s hands were those of a man’s by the time he was fifteen. It was when he dropped out of school and started working at the docks, Steve supposed, that they transformed into what they become in Brooklyn.

They were big, and strong, and tanned from all the hours under the relentless harbor sun. Thick calluses covered Bucky’s palms and fingers, and his knuckles were never free from the skirmishes he’d helped Steve out of. They were stained with dirt and riddled with splinters. Steve remembers George, Bucky’s Pa, commenting on them at some family dinner. ‘A real man’ he’d called Bucky, like his hands were proof of his masculinity.

And yet, Bucky’s hands were kind. They were always warm and soft and forgiving, even when they looked like they were anything but. Where they were strong and affirming to the boxes they hauled on the docks and the punches they threw at assholes, they were, to Steve, impossibly tender. When they cleaned Steve’s wounds or brushed his sweaty hair back, Steve could swear there were never any calluses on them at all. Even after the longest day at work in the coldest January, Bucky’s hands were still soft and hot when he came home and ruffled Steve’s hair and went to warm up some supper.

In his weakest moments, Steve wondered how those hands, those beautiful versatile hands, would feel against his skin. But only in his dreams, when he couldn’t control his wandering mind, would Steve begin to imagine. Mostly, he tried his damndest not to think about it.

Instead he drew them, a lot, and watched with an affectionate fascination as Bucky punched a man and then patched up Steve’s cheek and then helped Mr. O’Leary haul furniture up the stairwell.

When he could, he would hold Bucky’s hands, for just a moment. In Brooklyn, it was rare; a small moment of comfort on cold nights or after a hard day. In Europe, it was more common; a tactile reassurance of life after a particularly bad fight.

Steve reveled in the fact that even his bigger hands still seemed to fit in Bucky’s perfectly. Even now, when they were nearly matched in size, Steve’s hands were still the same slender delicate one, always covered in gloves, where Bucky’s hands bore the toughness of war.

And while they always smelled like gunpowder and had black-smudged calluses covering the whole palm, they still touched Steve gently, and ignited a warmth that was anything but rough. Steve watched them shoot a rifle, and wished they would go back to cutting Becky’s hair and making him breakfast.

They would, soon, he promised himself, but then he failed to keep them safe. He couldn’t count the number of times he reached out for Bucky’s hands, felt their reassuring strength around his own, but that one time -- that one damn time -- he couldn’t grab it. Steve knew he would never forgive himself, even as he saved the lives of a million New Yorkers.

Then, against all odds, seventy-one years later, he takes Bucky’s hand again.

They’re in the car, squeezed thigh to thigh on their drive out of Berlin and to the Leipzig airport, and Steve can’t even begin to express how he’s feeling right now. Scared, yes; Dreading a hard fight, yes; but so incredibly overjoyed at having Bucky back, even just part of him, because living without him is just surviving.

Still, he’s cautious with his tactile affection, because the last thing he wants to do now is drive Bucky away, to give him any possible reasons to be scared of Steve. He probably hasn’t been touched in years, not without hostile intention, and Steve feels sick at the mere thought of it.

Carefully, and slowly enough that Bucky can catalogue his movement and intention, Steve reaches out to take Bucky’s right hand. Bucky lets him, and freezes for just a moment before he relaxes into the touch and wraps his fingers around Steve’s.

His hands are still the same warm assurance they always were, with thick calluses and strong fingers. Steve holds on just a bit tighter.

It will be weeks before Bucky grabs Steve’s hands of his volition, and months before he feels comfortable enough with his metal arm to let Steve love it, too, but in due time, Steve’s sketchbooks fill with charcoal stained pages of Bucky’s strong fingers once again.

And maybe, with a little courage, he’ll even get to kiss them, and feel them on his skin. (Bucky laughs when he notices the fixation, but of course he doesn't complain in the slightest.)

how to u stucture ur comics? and would it be okay if i studied it?

hiya!! <33 that would be absolutely fine with me, yeah!!

to be fair tho there's is no actual technique or anything involved 😭 i'm too lazy to actively study professional works or read guides lol orz

i'll type up a little bit about my (fairly unstructured) process below tho!! <3

if it's a longer comic i'll first write up a short script! nothing fancy, just dialogue with a few pointers on characters' actions the img below is my script for this comic :-)

next i sketch out specific moments and try to structure them in a way they'd fit pages of equal size. if it's a shorter comic/i dont write a script i just start with this step lol.

i know there's things to watch out for with panel layout, amount of panels per page, etc but i just go by gut feeling 😭 and even if you're someone who likes to follow tips and guides, always remember to play around, bend rules and just have fun with it!!

there are three things about structuring tho that i do think are helpful and easy to keep in mind!

the same character should stay on the same side of the panel (e.g. during conversations), just makes it easier to follow imo

plan your speech bubbles as a part of the panel!! theyre just as important as characters, action lines, sound effects, backgrounds, etc.! if you neglect them until you've finalized the panel you'll most likely end up with a cluttered panel that's hard to read something i find helpful here is (if you're working digitally) to actually type and position your text before you get started on the linework cant count the times i've positioned my text and noticed that i've left way too little space for the coresponding speech bubble LOL

try to keep panels evenly spaced, the reader's eye can easily be led by how far apart individual panels are! i don't think the below comic is an ideal example LOL but by leaving bigger/smaller spaces between panels you can divide the page into sections. its not always necessary imo but does help with pacing, especially with single page comics

aaand.. that’s pretty much all the layout work/structuring i do LOL

as for my entire process from script to finished page(s), i actually recorded a timelapse of the first comic i mentioned! a rough breakdown of my steps would be:

write script

sketch out important panels/panels i just really wanna include lol

organize panel sketches in pages

ink panel borders

type/position text

(send to friend for beta reading and hope my english is somewhat comprehensible, edit text)

ink speech bubbles

ink characters

ink backgrounds

hand letter sound effects

block out colors (i usually divide into background, characters and speech bubbles at this point)

figure out color scheme/technique on one page (just a lot of trial and error in my case LOL, trying to see how much/little color i wanna use, which color scheme, if i wanna shade, use screentones, etc.)

color rest of pages

done!

Best friend! Iwa and you preparing for a presentation you both have to do. If you are getting self conscious or nervous before the presentation, he gently takes your hand and gives you a soft smile and speaks with his deep but also comforting voice

After the presentation, when you thank your class for listening, he only looks at you and thinks how proud he is at you. How you look at him with the ' wee did it' smile. You alwyas are there for him when he needs you and he promises himself that he will be alwyas there for you too. But what if he does it as your bf?

Best friend! Kuroo who sees how you look at Sakura after she passed the biology exam again with the highest score while you failed. How couldnt you? She is such a pretty girl, cute, smart and you would die to look like her.

He can see the hurt in your eyes when you excuses to go to the bathroom. What kind of best would he be if he doesnt comfort you. he knows what's going on. So he follows you and waits outside ( he isn't a creep okay, who knows if there are other girls in the bathroom and he would be super embarrassed/ shy kuroo>>>>)

When you come out and when you try to smile and wants to make a joke to lighten the situation, He would go to you, put some hair behind your ear, and looks at you with sad eyes

" I know what's going on in your little head but pls dnot think that you arent pretty or smart enough. It hurts me if you think soemthing like this or see you sad and i will neverstoop to tell you this, okay? Besides, when do I, Kuroo Tetsuro, the best bestie ever, ever lie to you mh~?"

He gives you then one big comfort hug and rubs your back with one hand

You only can smile about his words and when he sees and hears you giggling again, he wants to scream of the cuteness

how did you learn english btw? and ugh i totally understand. english grammar is SUPER confusing. even as a native speaker, sometimes i question my own grammar lol. so i always admire ppl who learn english when it’s not their native language, esp when they’re as fluent as you! <3 srsly

and i’ve heard of georgia. idk much about it tho lol. i only know of it bc when i was in grade 8, for fun (literally FOR FUN 💀 SKSJSK), i memorized all of the countries of the world and where they’re located on a map lol i was a huge nerd ig skjdksjd so yeah i’m familiar with georgia but ik like nothing about it sksjsk and the alphabet is sooo pretty pLS. is it an easy alphabet to learn? like compared to english let’s say lol

AND PLEASE THATS SO CUTE :( i love kids too but theyre such a pain in the ass sometimes, especially the very young ones like 2-5 years old cuz during that age they're more... actuve ig :/ HOW DO U EVEN TAKE CARE OF THEM I WOULD'VE GONE MAD HELSPSMNS

and we learn english at school, from grade 1 up until grade 12 but the level is VERY LOW. we use the same A2-3 or smth levels EVERY SINGLE YEAR so it gets very infuriating as someone who's i guess ahead of everyone else because i know all that stuff already 😭😭😭 and yeah english grammar is a bit confusing but it's nothing compared to russian AND ESPECIALLY GEORGIAN GRAMMAR. as a native speaker,,,, yeah georgian grammar is fucking hell. it may look simple but it's far more difficult than english, german, italian, french & all that jazz :/ its a very difficult langauge overall. sometimes even i'm not fluent in it, that's how difficult the grammar is 😭😭

also grade 8 u was insane bcuz WHY?? WOULD U DO THAT 😞😞 i can't even memorize the name of my own country were you okay??? and yeah our culture is actually very unique and just overall based more on the artistic side. we have our own dances, singing, our own food, clothing and a very very long history. we may be small but we have definitely kept our traditions throughout the centuries and i'm very proud of that, so that stuff is also very hard to get used to when it comes to foreigners visiting or even moving here because it's VERY different from other places. as for the alphabet oH GOD NO ITS DEFINITELY VERY HARD TO LEARN, we spend at least 4 years with different types of textbooks that are specifically made to learn how to write the letters with step-by-step tutorials and guides. we also have some letters shortened a bit like ლ,დ so it's even more confusing for people who aren't fluent to read what we write 😭😭 and as the years pass everyone develops their own calligraphy (which is even more unique because of our strange alphabet) yet we can still somehow understand what the other is writing? it's very weird and definitely not an easy language or an alphabet to learn for foreigners.

ALSO YEAH WHAT IM WRITING IS KINDA?? HEADCANONS??? bulletpoints? idfk atp its a mixture of drabble + headcanon + bulletpoint and i had the time of my life writing it but now im too lazy to proofread (which i probably wont do at the end of the day OOPS) and write for the two members that i have left :///// and i'll give sort of a hint (?) it has smth to do with enhypen and highschool 😋😋 the rest is up to your imagination (well until it's released ofc) its smth that i haven't really done before cuz i usually do normal bulletpoints so it's kinda hard for me but Oh well there's a first for everything and i need to step out of my comfort zone sometimes 😈💪
