jihye always thought jun was the coolest person. he spoke chinese and was learning how to speak korean at the time they met, he was one of the tallest people she met at that point (excluding mingyu) and he just had the coolness she thought was extremely awesome. she never thought he was awkward or weird and always loved to be around him and be around him.

Wonwoo was always somewhat of a protector for you. He took it upon himself to shield you from the bad side of being an idol. Comments, questions, people trying to get in your pants. It’s common for a female idol to be burned in the spotlight, especially when they’re around 13 guys a lot of the time. Between dating rumors, fans' assumptions that you HAD to be hooking up with at least one of them, he always shut it down even before you or the company had the opportunity to do so. The night of your debut showcase the company threw a small album release party, family only which included a lot of the members from various groups between pledis and hybe. Your group's videos and concept were plastered playing on the large LED display, which was catching the eyes of some male company staffers and idols. Wonwoo was sitting across the room from you, watching as people praised your hard work and talent. He didn’t think much of it until someone asked him if they thought you’d give them your cell phone number so they could ask you on a date. He wanted to tell them no for you, but figured you should be able to fight that battle yourself so instead he beat him to it. A text pinged in your phone from Wonwoo telling you to meet him outside on the patio just so he can congratulate you, instead of just asking you out himself. Not just as friends, but much more.

When your team manager and the ceo sat jihoon down for a conversation, he definitely did not expect to be asked to help produce a song you wrote for your new group's debut ep. He would have done it in a heartbeat even without the company’s executives praising him and ready to bed for his music expertise. He was always willing to work and help out a friend. When the day came and you stepped into his sacred studio space, he was nowhere to be found, you’ve been in the light colored room often, but never alone. You took your time getting comfortable on his couch, playing with your phone while you awaited the arrival of your close friend. When the door alarm buzzed and unlocked, revealing Jihoon and his arms full of snacks and sodas for you both to enjoy. “Sorry I'm late, I tried to text you but I left my phone in here before stepping out.” “No worries, Hoonie. Is it just us then?” “Yeah, everyone’s a little busy today. That’s cool?” “Obviously. So before we get started should I tell you the concept?” “That would be helpful, y/n.” Jihoon was always a jokester especially with you, it was easy to play around with him. “So, well, okay. I mean I like it, but it’s a little distracting.” “Oh my god, sorry I didn’t even know I was doing that.” “You’re lucky you’re cute.” “So the seduction of the song is working, is what you’re saying though?” “A little too well.”

seokmin:

Seokmin was the most supportive friend you could ever ask for. He wasn’t shy to tell you how amazing you did while performing or how beautiful you looked in and out of your stage costumes. When he took his seat next to the rest of the boys in the glass box of the arena for your debut showcase. He wore the merchandise and clung onto the picket with your face on it out of anticipation to actually get the opportunity to watch you perform without him. As soon as the lights went down on the stage, the crowd began cheering your fan chant, he studied their words and joined in himself, forcing the rest of your team to do the same. The pitch black room filled with screams made his heart pound fast. Why was he so nervous? You came into his view, the bright stage lights bouncing off of your glowing frame, he noticed your smile as the song began to play. He couldn’t take his eyes off of you, he watched your interactions with the rest of the girls, the fans, and even the sneaky look up to him. He truly felt like your fan girl, singing along with you, dancing the choreography, and shouting your name louder than anybody in the room. The rest of the members tried to get his attention, but he was so intoxicated by watching you that he didn’t hear them. His fixated gaze on you had others watching him watch you. When it was all finally over, Seokmin couldn’t leave his seat for a good five minutes, his heart was beating faster than it should. The guys pulled him backstage to congratulate you. His hands were sweating now, pulling up to your door. Seeing you open it, now in a matching gray sweatsuit, halfway done with taking your makeup off. You hugged the various members and saved Seokmin for last. Whispering in his ear how grateful you were for him. The rest of the guys sat around teasing your biggest fan, laughing at the videos they took as he watched you. You caught a glimpse of his face, a pretend smile clearly embarrassed for the things they were saying. “Okay, guys I’ll meet you at the restaurant. I’m going to take a shower and I’ll be there soon.” With various goodbyes and see you laters you tugged Seokmin back into the room. “Wait. Hold on, mister. You okay?” “Yes, I’m good. mingyu:

Mingyu got the opportunity to be a special MC for the week of your group's new debut, meaning he would get many opportunities to see you and your friends in action on stage and interview you during the broadcast. When the time finally came and you were waiting for your interview he was prompted by the producer to take the side of the interview stage next to you, simply because fans would love it. Watching you parade onto the stage in your small denim shorts and corset top adorned with black ribbons and lace, made Mingyu’s heart swell. The way your newly blonde hair cascaded down your exploded back was distracting him from his duties as host, just up until the slate came into his view. “Hello, everyone, welcome back we’re here celebrating a new debut today, please welcome Spice. Hello hello.” Claps rung through the studio as your eyes linger on Mingyu’s exposed fangs. “Mingyu, what is it like seeing y/n up here with a group other than Seventeen? Jealousy? Happiness?” Jungwoo’s comments made the rest of your team giggle, watching the over six foot man still tower over you while you stood on the riser next to him. “Jealousy, for sure” “And y/n or the rest of spice how do you girls feel having a self proclaimed kpop fossil in your midst, how are you dealing with her ex-members? Are they in your business all the time? Do they offer advice?” “Well, I know Mingyu’s lying when he says he’s jealous. When the clip ended Mingyu put his large frame in front of you so the camera couldn’t hold the shot too long, protecting the last of the innocence you once had when he met you. When your interview was finally over you and Mingyu ended it with a tight hug where he picked you up off your feet that was caught on camera. minghao:

Minghao was doing an interview for a fashion magazine alongside the other 97’ members where they were being asked about some of their favorite things. Mingyu brought up your group's new song ‘Pure’ and Seokmin brought up how beautiful the music video was, both of them talking over each other about how fun the song is, and how it makes them feel excited when they work out. Minghao was just sitting nodding along, non-verbally agreeing that your group had some of the best new music in the industry and that you’ll be the next breakout idol group. The interviewer then asked other than the newest song by you, which song was their favorite, just keeping the conversation going. Mingyu still answered ‘Pure,’ Seokmin said it was the ballad of your album called ‘Skeletons.’ And Minghao said your first title track, ‘All Over.’ Which was actually banned in many schools for being too addictive, mainly due to the content of the video or maybe the explicit lyrics. When he was asked to elaborate he just simply said that he loves when people feel confident enough in themselves to do whatever they want. The clip was circling the internet, making silly jokes about how maybe Minghao sits around, watching you do scandalous moments for his own pleasure. Which was far from the truth, but he didn’t mind. Getting the opportunity to perform at the same time as you on a music show meant he would get to see the song live for the first time. He watched your group parade around the stage in small skirts and button down tops, imagining himself doing the partner choreography with you instead of the dancer you got assigned. When it was finished you came off the stage, right into his view. “Better in person?” “Maybe. I don’t think you're very into your dance partner though, no chemistry.” “Really? He’s cool and not bad on the eyes, but yeah he’s not very interesting. Kind of a wet blanket actually.” “A wet blanket?” “Yeah, you know no substance. Soggy, whatever.” “Maybe you should ask to swap to someone else?” “No, it’s alright. He did try to ask me out at practice the other day though, literally in the exact moment we were doing that wild floor part, not really the best moment to ask someone out when they’re on top of you. After watching your debut, Seungkwan was wildly proud and supportive. He’s watched your confidence grow an exceptional amount alongside him. The praise from the fans felt like it was for him a little bit too, not in a selfish way but just because you blossomed into adults together. A few of the idols from your company got asked to be a part of a reality show about a day in the life of an idol, you and seungkwan both agreed knowing it would be fun to do together, especially since you haven’t had many opportunities to interact due to your busy schedules. For promotions of the new season you were paired together for interviews with various magazines and online programs. In the interview with Marie Claire the journalist had you play a game of truth or drink where you sat facing each other and the table between you had stacks of questions. You both were doing well, laughing, getting slightly buzzed on the shots of tequila that were provided until Seungkwan pulled a truth question, trying to buy himself a chance to skip a drinking turn. “What would you do if another idol was making a pass at the other player in front of you? How would you react?” “What kind of question is that? Drink, Kwan” “Can I pick another one?” You and Seungkwan were giggling and laughing over the prospect of someone making a pass at one of you in front of the other, the PA prompted him to either answer or move on, he wasn’t able to pick another option. “Ok, I’m going to drink.” “Ah, come on. Now I’m curious.” “I’ll tell you later.” Seungkwan and you finished up the last of your interviews and headed into the black suv parked outside of the studio. “So tell me now about that question.” “It’s just weird to think about anybody asking you out, I mean I know some have tried, but you’ve always turned it down. I’ve always had a crush on you, why would any sane single person turn down half of these guys that are asking me out unless they’re interested in someone else.” “You’re sane?” “Shut up. Stop being an ass, I’ll cry.” “Then if I send your manager a card asking for permission to date you, will you accept it?” “Why not just ask me yourself?” “I’m a traditionalist.” “Then you’ll just have to see what she says when you do.”

vernon:

Naturally Vernon wasn’t a jealous guy, he was just some dude that couldn't care less what other people were up to. He was so excited when he heard that you’d be debuting with new girls at the company, proud that they chose you to lead them with all of your experiences alongside him and the other members of your group. You and Vernon always had a special bond being the same age, having similar stories of how you became an idol, he appreciated having someone around who could understand him only through body language as did you. He came to surprise you and your new team on the day of your debut, carrying coffees, helping the staffers with luggage’s, bandaids, holding the hair and makeup team's bags. He really just wanted to show you he cared and was excited that you were moving on to bigger and better experiences in this industry. Vernon was never one to ask too many in depth questions about concepts and costumes, he knew the company would take care of you and he didn’t want to spoil the surprise for himself. As you were getting ready to take the stage, your manager asked him if he wanted to take a seat with them backstage and watch the view from the side. He told them no, mainly because he didn’t want to be a distraction and also everybody knows the side view is never exciting to see for the first time. As the team filtered out of your holding room Vernon took his place on the leather couch, watching your unit get into their positions. He never noticed your outfit until now, a black leather jacket, tight white tank top, and a pair of tight leather shorts with garters attached running the length of your bare legs all the way down to your chunky loafers. It’s not that he never thought you were beautiful before, but something changed now. He decided to open his Twitter app, seeing what people were saying about your group as you continued your performance. Vernon wished he hadn’t seen the comments about you made by men over half your age about what they’d like to do to you after seeing your bare legs. Suddenly he realized he wasn’t the only one gunning to be with you, but he was the only one who stood a chance.

chan:

Chan always made you feel special, when he heard your group's new song it gave him an idea to beg your production team for a cut so he could create a Danceology as a surprise. Something big and dramatic to make you feel good and maybe a little to impress you. He enlisted the help of his friends Yeonjun and Changbin to make it extra fun for his fans to see three well liked idols performing a sexy girl group choreography made by him. The day came where it was about to be uploaded, so he arranged a small get together with the two of you to watch it’s release on YouTube, you weren’t sure why he asked you to come hangout with his friends and do a weverse live with him, but you never missed a chance to see him especially now with your busy schedules. “Hello guys. So we’re doing this very special live for y/n actually. I have a surprise.” “A surprise? It’s not my birthday, channie.” “Doesn’t matter. I may or may not have made a very special danceology episode for you.” “What the fuck, oh sorry. What? Why did you do that?” “Because I wanted to, the reason we’re here on live with everyone is to watch it before it goes up and you can see it before they do. Sorry everyone.” “Okay, yes. Thank you, show me, show me, show me.” “Alright, y/n may I present to you a special danceology to Spice’s ‘Pitch Black.” The pair of you both clapped your hands as your manager pressed play revealing Chan, Changbin, and Yeonjun wearing black tank tops and different shades of ripped jeans, a match from the music video your group had just released. “Oh my god. This is insane.” Chan didn’t say anything back, but just kept watching you watching his gift for you, until he noticed your eyes click to one of the other three in the trio. A gut feeling had him knowing that your attention wasn’t only on him, but he shoved it down until the fade out of the song came on. “Wow. You guys killed that shit. Yeonjun and Changbin thank you guys too, it was amazing. Thank you.” “You liked?” “Chan, it was so good. That part where Yeonjun came into the front and did the hip swivel thing? Iconic.” “What about me?” You ruffled his hair, laughing confused why he was so serious after you made the comment about his tall friend. “You looked very cute.” “Cute? That’s it.” Aware you were still broadcasting live, you pulled your phone out to text Chan and remind him of it, he told the fans that you guys will come back after going out for some dinner to talk more and reminding them to watch the video before you go live again before saying goodbye. “What was that, y/n?” “What? It was amazing, I told you? Did I say something wrong?” “It’s nothing, just nevermind. Let’s go get some food.” “No come on, no angry eating. What’s wrong?” “Just, I guess I’m jealous. I did all of that for you and you were stuck watching my friend. I’m sorry.” “Because I complimented him on one part over you? That doesn’t mean anything, you were so good. I couldn’t take my eyes off of you the entire time aside from that. — along with coups, she's the member who has the longest training period in seventeen. she started training at sm and was supposed to debut with f(x) but didn't due to her age, then, she traded to pledis right after, still in 2009.

“kai,” you whined, taking the boys hand in yours. it was dark in the dorm room; taehyun was out with the other boys, leaving just kai a you. alone. no prying eyes, or cameras to interfere with your interactions. “put the game down, please?”

kai nodded, quickly turning off his switch and placing it on his nightstand. “i thought you wanted to just hang out?” he hummed, stretching out tiredly.

“it’s been a week since we’ve seen each other though,” you frowned, slumping against his shoulder. “i’ve missed you.”

kai laughed slightly, wrapping his arms around your body and caging you against his. he places a soft, quick kiss to your forehead, murmuring an ‘i’ve missed you too’.

being an idol wasn’t exactly the easiest, especially when it came to dating. sure, you both were at points in your careers where your companies could care less about if you dated or not, but the fans. god, they drove you crazy. time after time, you watched as female idols got dragged for dating popular male idols. you watched time and time again as your friends got dragged for interacting ‘weirdly’ with a male (most of the time they weren't dating each other). so, naturally, you and kai kept your relationship a secret to the public. of course, your agency knew, and all your members knew, but you both didn’t see a reason for anyone else to know.

kai himself wasn’t opposed to the idea of telling the entire world, but after speaking with yeonjun and soobin about it, he realised just how at risk he would be putting you and your career. he could care less about his own, but you. you were everything to him, and he wouldn’t risk hurting you in any way, and that included your career.

it was easy to get away with the dating, most times. after all, txt and fromis_9 were apart of the same overarching company, so the two of you naturally saw each other often. kai thanked his lucky stars every night for that, thinking the two of you met by chance. you, however, thanked nagyung, and her obsession with beomgyu.

‘let’s go see the cute trainee!’ she begged, dragging you and jiheon. ‘i promise, i’ll be stealthy! they’re going to debut soon, and i want to be his first pre-debut stan~’

you had laughed at your friends antics, still adjusting to your own debut and unable to wrap your head around hybe debuting another group so soon. obviously, you were under different ‘branches’, but you still were the same company at the end of the day.

‘do you even know how old he is?’ you teased, playfully bumping nagyung’s shoulder as you spoke. ‘he could be jiheons age, or younger! or he’s as old as saerom!’

this, naturally, caused nagyung to freak out. but, the three of you made your way to the hybe cafeteria where jiheon admitted to seeing the group often.

that’s when you met kai - a towering sixteen year old running from beomgyu himself. it wasn’t a ‘meet-cute’ like in the movies - the poor boy had literally run into you. of course, he apologised profusely, and somehow miraculously ended up with your number so he could take you out for ice cream to fully make up for it.

nagyung never did get to meet beomgyu (she was too worried about her sweet little member to care about some silly boy). but you met the boy of your dreams.

and four years later, you were still together. after making up for literally knocking the breath out of you (he still apologises to this day whenever beomgyu or jiheon remind him), the two of you grew close. and eventually, kai asked you out. the one condition was that you couldn’t go public - not for at least a little bit. there was no point in risking your careers for some silly teenage fling.

just now, it wasn’t some fling.

“i’ll make it up to you, yeah?” he smiled, somehow finding a way to pull you even closer to him as you laughed softly. “we can order your favourite food and watch your favourite movie?”

you simply nodded against his chest, eyes closed as you relaxed with your sweet little boyfriend. "do you ever wish everyone knew about us?" you asked suddenly, tilting your head up to see his face. his eyes were slightly wide as he stared at his phone, clearly focused more on your question then on ordering.

he shrugged, looking down to meet your gaze, "as long as you're happy, i'm happy."

"that's not what i'm asking kai, i'm asking if you ever wish people knew?"

he shrugged again, "i never really thought about it. i've never wanted to risk your career - i've seen how the world treats female idols. you guys are put on a pedestal with unrealistic expectations just so people can tear you down."

his answer made you smile, and laugh slightly. "we both debuted four years ago, and we've been together for three and a half of those years, do you ever think it's time to just tell people?"

"i'm happy with how we are now - plus it's fun sneaking around everyones backs." he chuckled, returning his focus to his phone to order.

"well, if you're happy to meet me behind them all, then so am i."

It'll Work Out - Chapter 1

Summary: When Gail Force, a producing duo, gets asked to join HYBE and work with a boy group under their company, they did not think that they would be meeting their Fated Mates.

Pledis had been bought by HYBE, and Seventeen now needs more producers.

Disclaimers: Hi! Just a few disclaimers, this is a Seventeen A/B/O AU, and there will be smut at some point in the story. This is technically an OC fic but you are more than welcome to read as Y/N. The email had come as a shock to both girls, while they had worked very well when they collabed with BTS, this was not the outcome that they had thought would happen. Vienna was the one that had opened the email in the first place, having called over Piper to make sure it was not a joke.

“Are you seeing this?” Vienna was still in disbelief, they had been in the industry for years now, and collabing with BTS had opened some opportunities for them with smaller companies but it was never permanent positions. Piper had sat there for about five minutes rereading the email making sure it was not fake before she had decided to say something.

“Call the number you whore!” she had begun to hit Vienna to try and get her to hurry up.

“Wait! What time is it in Korea?” The other girl had begun to look up what time it was. It was 4:00 PM in Atlanta so it was well into the early morning in Korea. Being that early in the morning the girls had no choice but to wait at least three more hours so it could be a reasonable 6:00 AM in Korea.

The waiting was the worst for the both of them, they were people who liked having the instant gratification of going and buying in the store instead of ordering online. Once it had hit 6:00 AM there was a fight to see who would not have to call, both girls having anxiety when having to make phone calls.

“It's technically your turn to make the call.You have the better customer service voice.” Piper had made a good point but if Vienna was being honesty, she was not giving up that easily.

“But I was the one that found the email, I saw it now you have to make the call.” Vienna had started to pout at Piper. Vienna was the younger of the two and really knew how to get her way with the older girl. All she had to do was bat her eyes at her and she would fold. Piper had given up at that point realizing that she had already lost.

“Hi, This is Piper, one half of Gail Force, I was giving you a call regarding the email that was sent.” She had sat down in their studio to give them a call and was now regretting everything as her anxiety started to rise. Vienne was waiting not as patiently, she had her ear pressed up against the phone that Piper was holding to try and hear what they were saying. It was not a comfortable position at all but she needed to be able to hear what was being said.

“So you want us to come to korea for a permanent position, Who are we going to be producing for?” The older girl was getting annoyed with the person on the phone. The email was real but they would not give them any more information besides that someone had recommended them for this position and that they would be working with a boy group.

~ a week later ~

The girls had decided that they were going to take the position after a lengthy call on what HYBE was prepared to offer them to get them to sign a contract. HYBE was going to set them up with an apartment since finding one at the last minute was not going to go over well, along with that each girl got their own production studio. While they were a producing duo, when producing they had different sounds when working.

They were hoping that once they got into korea that they could get to their new apartment and get some unpacking done but HYBE had wanted them to come in to the office to official sign the rest of the contract and meet part of the group that they were going to be working with. The plane ride was not that bad but being omegas in their own little “not pack” it was hard not being able to scent each other to calm down, and now having to go straight to HYBE ment that they would have to put off scenting each other ever more. Once at HYBE, they were meant to be meeting with Bang PD.

“So, we just want to get some more information for our Health and Wellness department, If you could just fill out these forms, that would be great.” Bang DP had explained while handing them to form.

“Are your heats regular?” Vienna had read the question before Bang PD could react. His face had turned a firey red before he could tell them to not read the question out loud. “Please dont read the questions off, I do not need to know what is being asked on them.” The girls having turned red themselves at his awkwardness,jsut continued with the questionnaire.

On the other side of the building, the Leader line of Seventeen was exiting their practire room when they were met with a few member of BTS.

“OH! Are you all headed to your meeting with Gail Force?” Namjoon had questioned them as they were passing. Seungcheol having realized what they were talking about had spoken up “yes, we are going for our initial meeting with them. You have work with them before right?”

“Yes, they worked with us on Map Of Seoul 7 after Jungkook had begged Bang PD to get them to work with us.” Jungkook started pouting at what Namjoon had reveled. “They are pretty intense when it comes to producing, it probably one of the only time that i have been intimated. “ Yoongi had added. Picking up on what Yoongi was up to, Jungkook decided to get in on the action.”They are like 6’6” and really macho Alphas. They give Namjoon a run for his money.” Namjoon having to turn to conceal his amused face decided that they needed to head out. “Well, you all should be heading over, dont want to be late.”

As the leader line was heading to the meeting Hoshi decided to speak up. “ do you think they were telling the truth? Namjoon seemed to be laughing at the end there.”

“Well, they have worked with them before, there is not a reason for them to lie.” Woozi was already annoyed with the situation and Hoshi was not helping. Woozi was under the impression that Seventeen didnt need more producer, he was more than able to do it and now he was going to be made to work with more people.

The walk over to the meeting room was not long and as they got there, Hoshi had to ask another question. “What do we do?”

Seungcheol being the Pack Alpha decided to speak up “Hold our heads up and puff our chest out. We are also Alphas.”

Opening the door, they wre not met with the picture they BTS had painted for them, sitting in the room were two girl on the shorter side, one was stacking bottles atop one another and the other acting like she didnt know who she was.

“Um, are you both with Gail Force?” S. Coups was still holding the door handle incase they had entered the wrong room.

“Hi, yes we are Gail Force, Im Piper and this is Vienna. “ the older girl had introduce the both of them.

“Is it only you two?” S. Coups was in disbelief at the two girls that were in the room. “See i told you BTS Sunbeanim was joking with us!” Hoshi was now pouting at Woozi and S. Coups since they did not believe him. The two girls were giggling at Hoshis outburst.

“They tend to do that, they think its funny since we are both Omegas.” Vienna had explain after her giggles had died down. “ we are going to have to text them again.” she added on.

“Wait, You both are Omegas? we have been looking for Omegas.” Hoshi had sat down as he began to talk. S. Coups give him a bewildered look. “You can not just say that to people, Its not common for people to ask that is the states.” S. Coups had sat beside him while he was scolding him. Woozi was the last to sit but he had yet to say anything.

“I am very sorry about him, we are technically looking for an Omega for our pack but he should had no asked that especially since we all just met.” S. Coups apoligized to the girl on the behalf of Hoshi.

“Its okay, we understand that some things are done differently in Korea.” Vienna was trying to not laugh as she talked. Piper was still in shock at what Hoshi had said, her mouth still open with shock. Vienna had nudge her to get her back to earth.

“You do know that you both can take off your scent blockers right?” S. Coups was saying this for more of his sake, he did not like have part of his pack around people that he couldnt smell. While the only other two with him were Alphas as well, it didnt mean he liked it any less.

“We are okay keeping them on, we are still getting used to the scents here in HYBE.” Vienna was planning on sticking up for herself and Piper if she had to. They were unmated and in a foreign country they werent just going to go around without scent blockers on. “Bang PD told us that we did not have too as well, but until we are more comfortable her, we arent going to be taking them off.” She had added also.

“If anything, you all should be wearing one. Yall are stinking up the office.” Piper wasnt going to admit that she actual thought someone out of them smelled amazing but she also wasnt going to allow these alphas to think they were entitled to smell them just because it makes them uncomfortable.

Woozi having sensed that the girls were getting upset decided to step in before the other two could put their foot further in their mouths. “We were just making sure you both knew that we and the company value our omega workers and would not make them wear scent blockers.” Woozi having defused the situation moved onto a different topic. “You both have worked with BTS?”

“We have, about a year ago, we each produced a song with them. We are a duo but we have different sound when it comes to producing.” Piper had begun to explain the dynamic of their duo, “I work mainly on softer music and Vienna is usually the go to for harder sounds. “We look forward to working with you both.” S. Coups added in to the conversation.

Piper having realized the time decided it was time to cut the meeting short. “It has been great to meet y'all but we need to head out and get to our living arrangements.”

I won't pretend to totally understand what's going on with sm (other than that they seem to have shat the bed), but in terms of how hybe had tried to buy them earlier and how it's often accused of trying to be a monopoly, do you think there's a point where hybe could get too big in a way that's detrimental to the rest of the industry? Ik they're not literally a monopoly and that there are much smaller companies than hybe, sm, yg, and jyp (hybe is also small compared to the rest of the music industry) but do you think there's any truth in the anger at how big of a chunk of the kpop industry hybe controls or is it just jealousy at them outgrowing the original big 3?

I feel like you answer your own question within your ask… because if we think about it: as of January 26, 2024, HYBE’s market cap is ~55% more than the rest of the Big 4 combined. HYBE is itself a hub of ‘mid-sized k-pop companies’, one of which is BigHit, which drives roughly half of their topline. Meaning, the primary driver behind HYBE outperforming and dwarfing the better capitalized and more prestigious competition, is BTS.

It’s simply a fact that HYBE is the biggest company and BTS is the reason why. Like, it’s so obvious there’s no tactful way to highlight it. And it’s a fact it pisses off a lot of people here.

If you ever get into a conversation with a typical k-pop stan, before long, unprompted, they will tell you HYBE has no really, talented idols and that whatever prestige or talent the company has in vocals or dance, was technically bought by acquiring Pledis. It’s not particularly a big deal, just something funny I first noticed in k-pop discourse about 2 years ago, once the idea of HYBE, and Seventeen as a HYBE group, started settling in with k-pop stans.

The average k-pop stan doesn’t really know how to think about HYBE in general, because HYBE is structured nothing like the rest of the Big 4, from its ethos down to its operating mechanics, and so the points of reference k-pop stans have in the Big 3, don’t always apply to HYBE, in my opinion.

Anyway, yeah there’s this weird resentment that often manifests in the misplaced superiority complex you see in some stans of Big 3 groups. In a sense, I don’t blame them. It’s the nature of this industry for there to be a hierarchy. It’s sport after all. But like I’ve said, the politics this space creates is highly toxic, the tribalism is entrenched and the primary thing k-pop stans do in fandom is stoke unending feuds, and shit talk other groups and idols. Some groups are acceptable targets for everyone to dunk on. BTS from debut was designated as one such group, but from the jump it was clear they weren’t going to settle for anything less than the top spot. BTS wasn’t supposed to be the group, to breakout. They didn’t have k-pop approved vocals cred, they didn’t have the typical idol visuals, their rapline never went on Show Me The Money, so how could they be legit?

BTS was a group that did things their own way from the start and that by default pissed off a lot of people. Most of those people are still here. And because people are predictable, some of that latent dislike of BTS bleeds into everything connected with BTS and so, HYBE.

And, not to keep wacking this horse corpse, but I want to point out yet one more obvious thing.

When people talk about Big 3 privilege, something they’re talking about is the latent buy-in those three companies: SM, JYP, and YG will always enjoy in this space. Groups from those companies will always enjoy support from a sizeable army of company stans. SM entertainment has the most, followed by YG, then JYP. This is why Big 3 stans are the people who set the temperature for what dominates the chatter in k-pop. K-pop stans will always tune in to groups and releases from Big 3 companies and are generally pre-disposed to always giving their stuff a chance on the assumption their idols are more talented.

The size of those company stans dwarf the stans of smaller companies like Cube, KQ, Pledis, and until some years ago, BigHit Entertainment. Except for BTS and ARMYs, none of these companies have company stans big enough to rival Big 3 fandoms, and so the cache of these companies are seen as inferior to Big 3 agencies. And as HYBE is simply a collection of mid-sized companies (who on their own couldn’t stand a chance compared to the Big3), examples include: Pledis, Source Music, KOZ, Be:LIFT, ADOR, then the groups from HYBE are implicitly seen as less talented than their Big3 peers. Plus they get the additional ddaeng for being linked to BTS, specifically.

All of that felt very silly to type out but it’s what I’ve observed. Watching the logical conclusions of this political dynamic in k-pop fandoms play out in real time during the SM-HYBE-Kakao drama (1st season) was super fascinating lol. It confirmed practically everything I think about k-pop stans and BTS.

i think it would be pretty consistent of jeonghan to be the type of boyfriend to randomly kiss you throughout the day. his favorite reason to offer after planting one on you is 'just because.' it's a cheeky answer, but that's all he gives you. he offers no further explanations! you could chase after him and demand an excuse, but he would just smile, shrug, and lean over to kiss the tip of your nose. sometimes he's just feeing a little more sweet than usual, and other times, he's just looking for a reason to be close to you. let us just take a moment to appreciate the concept of jeonghan half-whining, half-requesting you to give him a quick little smooch when he's playing soccer with the members. have you seen this guy play? according to him, he's the type to put in 110% into the first half of the game, leaving him feeling ABSOLUTELY drained in the second half. knowing that you're there, he'd jog up to where you're watching, and he'd practically throw himself down next to you. on any normal day, jeonghan can be pretty damn convincing, but it isn't every day that you have the upper hand on the yoon jeonghan. as his significant other, you'd have a grand ol' time making sure that he gets a taste of his own medicine. however, just a few seconds before the game resumes, after you leave a peck on his sweaty cheek, he would make a show of running back to the field with a newfound sense of energy and purpose! when his team wins at the end of the night, he'd be annoying as all hell when telling his members that all his goals were made possible because of his lucky charm, you, his trusty water bottle. i also wouldn't put it past him to come up with bets/competitions as a way of claiming kisses from you. what's worse is that he actively chooses to not tell you about them! he just likes winning. you guys could be wandering around the grocery store when you hear him go 'AHA!' from a few aisles over. after a moment of unsettling silence, you'd hear the sound of rushing footsteps towards your general direction. when he finally spots you innocently standing in one of the aisles, he'll be sporting a smug look as he holds a bag of your favorite cookies over his head, looking like the picture of victory. he'd declare that since he was the first one to find the cookies, he would like to formally redeem his prize for a kiss from his favorite significant other. you're both more than aware that you're his only significant other, but that doesn't stop you from being his most favorite. now pucker up, nobody likes a sore loser.

You watched as he laughed with this person that you met as you and Seungkwan were leaving the party. You knew he was a social butterfly, lived like one, and as much as you loved him, it didn't mean you didn't want to strangle him. You watched him as he smiled and shook hands with someone who seemed like Jessi. Of course, it's important for his career and stuff, so you pouted and waited. He side-glaced a few times, and finally he said his byes and left. Yes, Jay Park's Christmas party was a huge event that every idol or personnel connected to the K-pop industry wanted to be in on Christmas Eve. The whole of seventeen were actually invited, and Seungkwan, Chan, and Jihoon had volunteered to go. Jihoon had left; you lost Chan while you were busy talking to Yeji and Lia, whom you've met before, at previous parties and events that you've been to with Seungkwan. So you decided to leave too.

Sigh.

“Are you tired?” Seungkwan asked. And you shook your head. “I wasn't the one dancing, hijacking the party like it's my concert,” you said, and bumped his shoulder.

“He played Fighting” Seungkwan said, shrugging. “So to answer your question, I'm not tired, just drained,” you said.

“Aw, it was too much socialisation for you? Wasn't it?” He cooed, and you hit him as he ran away towards the car in a laughing fit.

“Hey” you suddenly heard, and you turned around to see none other than the Bangchan walking towards the two of you. You assumed he was there for Seungkwan, but the thought changed when he simply nodded at Seungkwan and walked straight towards you, standing in front of you.

“Hey. Um, okay this is awkward,” he said and giggled adorably. “Hi” you said on instinct.

“Hey, again, Y/n” he said, and rubbed the back of his neck. What you didn't notice was Seungkwan literally shooting daggers through his eyes. “It's gonna sound dumb but can I have your number?” He asked, “sure but, you could have asked me when we were talking back then” you asked curiously.

“Actually, I was under the impression that You and um..” he giggled again, making you blush “that Seungkwan and you were together or something. But later on Chan as in Dino told me you weren't so I thought um.. cause I enjoyed talking to you” he said. “Sure!” You said “I enjoyed talking to you too” you smiled and exchanged numbers.

“Look at you, Ms. Popular” Seungkwan teased as you started the car to drive him back to the dorm and then drive home yourself.

So yeah Boo Seungkwan is your childhood best friend, you've spend the majority of your life together apart from the time he joined Pledis and you interned and worked for various music labels as producer and finally joined Hybe. You and him are mostly a combo pack, sadly, of best friends.

Were you dumbly in love with your best friend? Yes.

Did you ever do anything about it? No.

Would you? Very good question, but also No.

In your defence, even Seungkwan never showed any sign of progression.

“So you gave him your number in front of Kwannie?” Joshua asked for the third time and started giggling just as Jeonghan had been the next morning of the party. “I swear to God, I came to you two for advice as to where to go for the team Christmas dinner. Why is this even relevant?” You asked them.

“It's not, Y/n. It's just funny” Jeonghan said. You shook your head and walked out of the room. As you texted back Bangchan for the…12th? Time that day. Well, you weren't counting, but you've been talking to him since the morning. Je said he did that the first thing after he woke up.

It was nice talking to him, he just gave off this vibe. And you spent most of that day, of not working, then texting him.

“Are you free tomorrow?” Bumzu asked you as you were about to leave for the team dinner and you shook your head and said, “I have plans”

Hence, here you were in this cosy, almost empty cafe with one of the most charming men that the industry has seen.

He did have a different charm that made you want to trust him. And the conversation flowed like a river between you two. It started with music to different artists you like. Bands, you like, laughing at each other's teenage choices and stories. It didn't feel like you just met him 2 days ago. The woman in the cafe smiled warmly as she found the two of you laughing at some joke he cracked when she was placing your orders on the table.

And he asked, "So, how long have you been in love with Seungkwan?” and you were shocked. “Is it that obvious?” You ended up asking, and he shrugged his shoulders. “By the way you two look at each other? Of course.” He said it and smiled. “What do you mean by each other?” You said that, and Bangchan just shook his head.

And you told him more about you and Seungkwan. How you had met him on your first day of middle school and he was the popular kid, and you were new. How he immediately adopted you as his introvert, like any other introvert and extrovert duo.

The two of you laughed at your memories, and he kept making comments here and there. You told him how Seungkwan dissed anyone who tried to bully you and how you supported him in his singing gigs. And how you realise during his basketball tryouts in high school that you were hopelessly in love with him. You also told him about all the times you mustered up the courage to tell him, which was really twice, but backed up the moment you saw him, You could take the fact that he didn't like you, but you couldn't take it if you lost him on whole or made things awkward, that would affect everything and everyone. So each time, you backed away.

“Oh my god, look at the snow” the woman suddenly said, and the two of you did. You and Chan both took a sharp breath in and looked at the outdoors in awe. The whole horizon was covered with a thin blanket of white as the snow had just started to fall.

The Christmas atmosphere felt more magical. Strangely, your heart started yearning for someone. Not just someone, because if it would have been that, then you'd be glad Bangchan was here. But no, your heart yearned and craved for that one man. The one you were in love with, Boo Seungkwan, who would probably never be yours.

Your trance was broken by the sound of your phone. Bumzu was calling, “Yeah?” You picked up and answered. “What?” You exclaimed, "Okay. Okay” Bangchan heard you say. He knew your tone, he's been at a similar spot several times. So he nodded his head when you hung up and looked at him. “Problem in the studio?” He asked, and you smiled once again. “Yes, but let's do this again, that is, if you want. I mean, I had fun, and-” you were mumbling, and he stopped you. “Y/n, I had fun too, let's hang out again” he said and you picked up your bag. "Hey, is this cardigan all you're wearing?” Bangchan asked, and you nodded. “You're gonna catch a cold” he said, as he started taking off his jacket. “No! Chan, dont” you told him but he only smiled and offered his jacket to you. “Take it, I don't feel cold, this one I'm wearing will do”

And he didn't take no for an answer.

“I came as fast as I could” You said and Bumzu started to explain to you what the issue was. “How were your plans? Sorry if I messed it up” he said with a smirk and you shook your head, not reading into it much.

You met Seungkwan on your way out “Is that a new jacket?” he asked. “No it’s Chan’s” you cleared.

“Chan’s?” Seungkwan said and looked at Dino with a quizzical look, who was standing at a distance. “No not this, I mean Bangchan” you said.

“Oh, Ohh” Seungkwan said, “It went well then” he said. You shrugged "Well, kinda b-” you were interrupted. “Oh, we've gotta get back to practice, see you later at Mingyu's party, later” He had hardly gotten the words out of his mouth when he turned and left. So you didn't see the light that his eyes had lost. The way his eyebrows knitted as he lost whatever hope he had.

You were sitting at home infront of the mirror, thinking back to the times you thought of just telling Seungkwan how you felt. It was different back when he was a student or trainee, he's an Idol now, (world high top class idol) it's more difficult now. You sighed, like he'd like you anyway.

“Hey!” Mingyu greeted you and placed a cup in your hand. “Hoshi made that” he said with a side hug and walked away almost as soon as you entered the party. Now you've had enough experience to know that when Soonyoung dabbles with alcohol, drinking it is a bad idea and you confirm it by taking a sip and walking towards the kitchen to replace it with something actually drinkable.

“Y/n!” You heard Joshua call you, who was sitting beside Seungkwan. “Ohho! Girl you look gorgeous” he said with a warm smile. You thanked him and said “Hey Kwana” you said, but no response except a nod of acknowledgement. You all chatted merrily, the whole circle being of people you knew. Seungkwan barely contributed. At some point you heard cheers, only to find Mingyu holding a bouquet of-

“Why is Mingyu holding flowers over Yohan and his girlfriend’s heads as they kiss?” Someone asked. “Those are mistletoes,” you said and they shook their heads in realization.

Everyone cheered as Mingyu now held the bouquet over a very drunk Hoshi and Dokyeom. Well, Hoshi is trying to kiss Dokyeom at this point anyway, and everybody laughed.

You felt anticipated as Mingyu looked around the room for his next target. Your heart slowed down when his eyes locked on you, it skipped a beat when he started walking towards you and pouty Seungkwan.

“Yes! Finally!” Joshua cheered from across the room.

“We can't” Seungkwan said, and your heart dropped, so he really doesn't like you like that. So you were right. “We can't put Y/n through this” he added. “Excuse me?” You said immediately. “You wouldn't wanna kiss me right? Besides, aren't you seeing, you even had his jacket” you interrupted him. “Can you stop assuming for me instead of asking” you said standing up and walking away.

“Y/n! Y/n, wait” you heard Seungkwan's voice in the hallway behind you, his steps seem a bit disoriented.

“What did you mean?” He asked when he reached you. “What?” You said.

“What did you mean back then?” He asked cluelessly.

“I'm not seeing anyone! Who does that just after one date anyway? I don't see Bangchan like that, or anyone like that in fact. Because I'm hopelessly in love with YOU!” you blurted out.

“What? It's not hopeless” he said and before you could react, Seungkwan held your face in his hands and slammed his lips onto yours.

“It's not hopeless” Seungkwan said again when he pulled away, with a dumb smile on his face.

Idk if this is appropriate or not (feel free if this is something you don't want to answer) but as a casual kpop stan who really only stans seventeen and listens to other kpop artists on a somewhat frequent basis I just feel as though seventeen is reaching their peak in a way that's far from satisfying. Like idk if this makes sense but to me it seems as tho the members are struggling to keep out of "scandals" with mingyu's incident last year, minghao/seoksoon being labeled as fat phobic earlier this year over out of context clips and now with Joshua (he's not even close to being my favorite member but these rumors and pregnancy stories are honestly making me so upset rn) ...as a fan who feels a genuine attachment to these people it's hard for me to be happy because while Ik the boys deserve every good thing coming their way fame comes with a price and that price is what I'm worried about. Like I get that Pledis isn't SM and seventeen definitely see themselves as family unlike NCT who view themselves more as colleagues I'm so scared that Joshua will eventually leave like Lucas or heaven forbid anything more drastic happens. It's just that I always see these "we could never save them" posts but then the same people who post them also comment the worst things forgetting that idols are humans too. I'm super sorry for the long ask but I just read that jeonghan got hurt and that made me think of the rest of the members and everything else they've been going thru. I'm not even the type of person to get attached to people I barely know but with Seventeen it's like I'm really and honestly praying for their success because they seem that THAT genuine group of people who are just trying their best. i get what ur saying. dont worry abt sending a long ask! ur welcome to rant abt svt in my inbox whenever! honestly i havent stanned for too long so idk how things were before this past year but i do worry for them lately :/ theyre getting injured too often and they get no rest. i dont like how pledis/hybe are managing them at all. theyve been constantly touring japan very repeatedly for seemingly no good reason at all which has obviously tired them out (theyve been dropping like flies, LITERALLY). pledis had the opportunity to promote them in ways that didnt involve constant performances but have just chosen not to for some reason. i really hope they get to rest soon (unlikely tho since theyre likely gonna have a world tour next year).

about the joshua thing. i feel sosososo bad for him. idk and idc if hes really dating that girl honestly. i do feel like it was kinda dumb of her to consistently post herself in the same places/clothes as him if they really wanted to keep it a secret BUT neither of them deserved the hate/scrutiny they got for it. not even with the pregnancy thingy on her stories. i don't think joshua and lucas' situations are comparable whatsoever since joshua has not done anything wrong unlike lucas. im hoping pledis somehow protects him better but thats unlikely. i dont think any member of svt will ever leave bc as u said, theyre family. cant rlly compare to nct tho lol bc i only stan svt so idk any other groups' dynamics like that. i do get what ur saying tho i have friends who stan nct and svt and theyve said to me that they do see a drastic difference in dynamics between the two groups but thats neither here nor there.

lastly, i have the best hopes for svt. they keep saying theyll only go up from here and i believe that. idk how that will play out with military service in consideration or with what seems to be chronic incidents that keep happening to them (gyu, cheol, and han in the past few months) but i trust and hope they'll be okay. they have a very established fanbase and a rlly good support group with one another so i only see good things for them in the future. hope they get at least a month off soon though.

Learning More About The Music Industry and Understanding Who Calls The Shots.

There has been quite a bit of discourse in relation to the individual rollouts of the members and their solo endeavours.

BTS gave us an as open and honest intimate conversation as they could within the limits of still being mindful of company and personal business. They told us then and time and time again since then what they wanted to do/show.

Since the festa 2022 dinner what they talked about coming out since then is all but nearly done, j-hope, Jin, RM, JIMIN and SUGA have all released solo projects, showed different genres, different sides of themselves, made video game OST, interned at their favourite video game company, guested on several variety shows, worked with huge global artists, promoted home and abroad, headlined festivals, intimate performances, performed in galleries, performed and won domestic music shows, Disney documentaries and a solo tour!

Jungkook is now at the beginning of his solo promotions as the second to last member of the seven to delve into his solo career.

The members from what they spoke about during the festa 2022 dinner have seemingly achieved what they intended to.

I'm not writing to take any individual member's 'side'.

Some members have been vocal in what exactly they have had their hands in, how happy they felt with their involvement in the creative, marketing & promotional aspects of their solo endeavours.

However the discourse has been building among ARMY in regards to the different ways promotion, marketing, and the perceived level of autonomy/control each member has in their solo career and the perceived level of input/support from their company and members.

I'm not going to talk about those perceptions, I'm not going to highlight the differences in each members solo activities, solo output.

I want to bring back, a tiny bit, the reality of the music industry.

BTS Made Hybe!

No question, when BTS joined Big Hit it was a very small, relatively new company. I've spoke about this in a previous post.

Big Hit, before the introduction of Hybe, housed solo artist Lee Hyun, relatively new group TomorrowxTogether and BTS.

After the general public were introduced to Hybe and til date, several companies have joined the Hybe family, such as Pledis, Adora and others.

We would think that BTS would pretty much run the company alongside their Chairman

However that is not the case and not only that, BTS are now NOT Hybe's main and sole focus.

Some things that I have kept seeing brought up a lot is 'global vision', 'accelerate global operations' and 'formula for global success.'

It is *my* understanding that one of the current goals for Hybe is to be able to replicate BTS' UNPRECIDENTED global success again and again, with current artists under Hybe and new artists. This includes the members as solo artists as well.

Whilst ARMY know the names of each of the members and refer to them personally more often than not, we only know the artists we are allowed to know.

We don't know them as employees and that is what they are under Hybe, employees of an entertainment company.

But BTS are Shareholders!

Though the members are shareholders, in comparison to other shareholders, it is still a token stake in the company at best, less than 1.5% stake in the WHOLE company for bangtan as a whole (if equally split by 7 members it’s 0.2%, that’s the rough hypothetical amount of ‘leverage’ each member has!)

The company still has thousands of nameless, faceless (to ARMY) employees under their payroll, the company still have thousands of nameless, faceless people who are invested in the financial wellbeing of the company, and they will not and do not want to be dependant solely on BTS and ARMY.

Their main concerns and considerations will never be to BTS or ARMY but to what guarantees them money longterm and with the least risk. The company’s unspoken but widely understood goal *in my opinion* is to be significantly less dependent on BTS in particular and any one group thereafter. They aim to prove it’s the company that gives success, not any one group or one member that gives the company success. They don’t want their signees to have power over them, they want to tilt the scales back so it is the company that has power over the signees as it has been historically UNTIL BTS.

When we feel disgruntled with a lot of the product that we get from the members, we need to remember we are seeing the END RESULT.

There is a long line and different processes it goes through before it gets to ARMY & the general public. Who has they final say, who allows what, who pushes what, how much does the company allow the individuals to have control over and when do they tighten the leash?

Ultimately it would start from the top and as much as we would want it to be and believe it deserved, its not BTS at the top of the pyramid, but these two and others.

"Hi." Y/N said, smiling at Jisung. "How are you?"

"I would be fine if it weren't for Yunna." Jisung huffed.

"Who's Yunna?"

"Uhm... She's my ex." Jisunf whispered. "I secretly dated her. But she cheated on me."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Y/N said. "What did she do?"

"She's stalking me now, apparently." Jisung said. "Wonhyun Hyung told me."

"Oof." Y/N said. "Wait, why don't you come with me. I know an idols only cafe nearby JYP."

"I've never heard of one." Jisung laughed. "There really is one?"

"Yeah. They only allow idols signed with Hybe, Sm, JYP, YG, KQ, and Pledis." Y/N informed him. "And only 18 years or older."

"Well, we're 19 so I guess we're fine." Jisung said, snorting. "Also, I forgot to tell you. Jaemin told me to give you this."

He pulled out a small box.

"He said it's an airtag."

"That brat." Y/N joked. "It's because I forever get lost."

"What if it has a tracker connected to someone else's phone?" Jisung asked, suddenly cautious.

"You're right, we should be careful." Y/N said. "Let's go."

On the way back to the dorms however, a girl went up to Y/N.

"You're Y/N of Stray Kid's, aren't you?" She asked.

"Do you need something?" Y/N asked nervously.

"I saw you hanging out with Jisung earlier." The girl said. "What's your relationship with him?"

"We're friends." Y/N explained, a knot twisting in his stomach. "Why?"

"I'm his ex girlfriend, but if you tell anyone, you're dead." Yunna hissed. "He belongs to me!"

"Okay lady." Y/N was terrified now. "I won't, promise."

"You better." Yunna stalked off, a snotty aura surrounding her.

"Huh." Y/N mumbled to himself. "Weird lady, that one is."

He didn't mention her at all to anyone, scared of what might happen if he did. He would be lying if he said he wasn't catching feelings for Jisung, and his members were catching on.

A week later, he and Jisung yet again, arranged to meet up. They got together at the same cafe and went in, sitting down at the back.

"Y/N answer me honestly." Josung said, and Y/N could tell he wasn't joking. "Did Yunna corner you?"

"Uh... She might have." Y/N said. "But even if she had, she would've told not to tell anyone."

"The police are onto her already." Jisung said. "You won't have to worry."

They sat there in silence, occasionally catching each other's eyes and blushing, looking away instantly.

"Y/N." Jisung sat up straight and looked Y/N on the eyes. "We've only seen each other twice while we've been adults, but I really like you and I want to date you."

"I really like you too Jisung." Y/N said, a blush coating his cheeks. "Consider this our first date."

"HE'S MINE!" A voice screeched. They turned to see...

Last Wednesday Twitter was exploding with the hashtag #SEOHAE and #BANGCHAN, many said it was due to a misunderstanding, but since there are many people who still do not understand what is happening between the two idols, stay and read this article. Seohae is the 22-year-old leader who just debuted about a year ago in the girl group DREAMS under the agency Pledis Entertainment which is part of HYBE Labels, she did a live where she talked to her fans and they played a game just for having fun, where she answered things like: What was her favorite group, if she had an ultimate bias or what was the last album she bought.

But they asked him a question about Bangchan if he seemed attractive, since it is no secret to anyone that the leader and eldest of Stray Kids was a pretty handsome boy and everyone was dead for him, also because of how kind and how good he makes you feel. to many people around the world and Seohae was as sincere as possible saying this: "Bangchan? Oh sorry, I don't find him attractive at all." Yes, we had found the first person to dislike our favorite leader.

When she said that, Twitter fell on her and the fans of the male group were very against what she said, there were some who defended her but those who insulted her and wished her the worst were the ones who made the most noise, but the fans of the leader did not remain silent and also defended their artist. In short, it was chaos. For days Twitter searches for Seohae's name were insults like Seohae bitch, Seohae stupid, Seohae die. Things like that. Which reached Bangchan's ears that in his recent Chan's Room he dared to talk about it, although he never mentioned talking about Seohae, everyone knew it was about that.
