nari started dating after they debuted. It was obviously against the company rules, but what were they gonna do about it? kick her out? she's pansexual and so far, has only dated people with the same life as her (idols), because they can understand each other's schedules and make it work better than with someone who's not a part of this life. right now, she's currently in a relationship with a male idol.

2015–2016 › seulgi, red velvet

— their friendship started when nari ended up confessing her undying love for red velvet's main dancer on a live.

— may I add... while she was completely wasted.

— she was saying how much she loved watching the older woman dance and how much talented she was.

— then, seulgi approached her on a music show the next day.

— didn't really date, but they were tied to one another, if you get what i mean.

— a sort of fwb kind of relationship.

— then nari confessed.

— and they decided to not keep on with this relationship.

— and then, nari was left heartbroken, but at least they are still friends.

— they joke about it from time to time.

2016–2017 › jayb, got7

— they were friends way before they started dating.

— nari met him because of her friendship with got7's maknae line and ended up befriending him due to bambam introducing them.

— started dating because jaebeom showed her a song he wrote for her, confessing the feelings he had.

— along with coups, she's the member who has the longest training period in seventeen. she started training at sm and was supposed to debut with f(x) but didn't due to her age, then, she traded to pledis right after, still in 2009.

— she was actually supposed to debut in a girl group that still didn't have any plans to happen, but, pledis saw a lot of potential in her and decided to put her on Seventeen TV for her to get along with the audience and the members. she quickly got accepted and became a sweetheart to everyone who met her.

— she got ranked #1 three times in a row in the 'top15 female idols chosen by lesbian korean girls' list, nari's really famous amongst the female audience of kpop.

— people say she's one of the prettiest 3rd gen idols, she's often praised by her beauty and how effortlessly pretty she is. that's also one of the main reasons she's called eternal nari and maknae noona, she's had the same face ever since their debut. she doesn't age in people's eyes.

— nari appeared on the episode 174 of 'the king of masked singer', using the identity of 'cheomseongdae', singing the song 'observatory'.

— she also did a studio choom 'artist of the month' performance, with the song 'mushroom chocolate', in 2021. she went viral for it, being one of the most watched performances.

nari’s tattoos and its’ meanings !

— she has 5 tattoos! as soon as she was of age, nari did her first one and since then she LOVES doodling on her skin, though she wants to get even more tattoos on her body.

1. left rib tattoo — ohana.

nari’s a really family oriented girl, she loves her family and everything she does she does for them including her members, who are her second family. also, she LOVES lilo & stitch, one of the biggest stitch enthusiasts out there. so, putting these two together, she decided to tattoo the word ‘ohana’ on her skin, which means ‘family’ in hawaiian and is a quote of the movie itself.

2. left arm tattoo — butterflies.

since her nickname is ‘nabi’ and it means ‘butterfly’, she decided to get it tattoed as well. she also loves this insect, she thought and decided that it had to be on her skin as well — it also reminds her of her trainee days, when she was afraid of being alone and, on her first day there, she even got a nickname, it being her most meaningful and dear one.

3. left wrist — whatever.

when nari’s sexuality was exposed by her to the public and she got a good response, she just thought ‘whatever’ to the bad comments. she couldn’t care less about their opinion and problematic minds, all she could care about was her love for herself and the people who accepted her as she is. so, to mark on her skin that she is proud of who she is, she got the ‘whatever’ tattoo on her wrist, with the pride flag colors.

4. nape — svt units tattoo.

she adores this tattoo, it represents each unit by the drawing – arrow; vocal, heart; performance, “plus”; hiphop. she got it because she loves her group and their history together, they mean so much to her that she had to get it tattoed.

5. right arm — kidult.

‘kidult’ is one of the most meaningful song of theirs to nari, it represents her a lot. she is a kidult herself, she is wants to have no responsibilities but has to be responsible all the time because she is an adult wishing to be a kid. it’s a song that really messes with her and means a lot, so she got it on her skin — it’s probably her most favorite tattoo too, since she really relates to the song.

nari's pets !

nari loves animals with her whole heart, whenever she sees a stray animal on the streets she always makes sure to buy something for it to eat and find something warm for them to sleep. so, when she got approval and all the members were okay with it, she got her first animal as an adult. she loves them a lot and, whenever she has to go on tour and she can't take them with her, her siblings always fill her phone with pictures of her pets and try to keep her updated by sending videos and calling her just so she will be able to see them.

2019—now › odie, teacup poodle (male)

— odie was her first pet ever since she had her dog as a kid, he has been with her ever since home promotions.

— he is her little bodyguard whenever she goes out, like, boy will bark at anyone who comes near nari. (he once even bit a sasaeng bc they decided to test their luck.

— she got him as a gift from her older brother, so she decided to name him after one of his favorite movies (garfield).

— she takes him wherever she goes when she’s in korea. when seventeen first went to knowing bros he was there and he literally growled at heechul when he came too close to nari for his liking.

— he loves all of seventeen minus hoshi, he doesn’t hesistate to bark whenever he sees the dancer as a warning.

— nari loves to dress him up with stuff he feels comfortable, she even opened a instagram account for him and her cat.

— when she lived with mingyu and wonwoo, whenever they cooked they would make pet friendly foods made especially for odie.

— the members talk about him as if he’s their own dog, he’s literally seventeen’s protégée.

2022—now › oreo, stray cat (male)

— okay, so oreo’s adoption wasn’t planned… like literally

— he kind of just appeared at her window when he was just a little kitten and never left.

— nari felt bad and gave him food and water and ended up just letting him stay.

— odie loves him but oreo isn’t too fond of odie, oreo usually hisses but just gives up whenever odie tries to cuddle him.

— he’s a mischievous little kitty, he’s so energetic that it looks like he’s the puppy instead of odie.

— she never really wanted a cat but have always loved them (?)

— wonwoo was the one who actually suggested oreo’s name and nari decided to name him that due to his fur color and due to her liking the name a lot.

— he has a special room in the house with those cat mazes and all, he spends a lot of time playing there (odie also tries sometimes but he always ends up lost and crying for nari to find him)

— he LOVES cuddling with nari and gets really jealous whenever her boyfriend cuddles her, he hisses and ends up scaring him away.
