WE KINDA DID IT, I can't hold my excitement! Ok, there are some things to unpack here, so let's go step by step.

I was visiting some websites about Katanas last night for research purposes, and Guilmon found another digimon, an almost fully trained one, a specimen called "Zanmetsumon" who was visiting this Katana website in search for powerful challengers, he seems to be pretty rational and willing to talk, however... There's a reason I wrote a "kinda" at the beginning of this post, Zanmetsumon is willing to help us and even considered JOIN our investigation but first we have to prove to him that we are strong enough to cause him damages... Which is worrying at the very least since he's a "Perfect", two evolutionary stages ahead from Guilmon, to add to the problem, Guilmon has little to none experience with fighting, we're going on full training mode tomorrow, but I'm not really sure we can with this... I won't give up on this but I can't force Guilmon to go beyond his limits, since he could end up in a life threatening situation, I'm both excited, intrigued and scared, I really hope Zanmetsumon goes at least a bit easy on us, anyways... I'll keep you updated.

Does CQM sect knows how long SQH has worked for MBJ? YQY let's SQH come back (presumably because he is that good at his job?) but do they ever interrogate him? Do they have any idea that SQH has been working for MBJ for years? I just find it funny that from their perspective SQH betrayed them but in a way you could argue that SQH was never loyal to the sect. Yes, he was already part of the sect, but he was an outer disciple and while they don't know, SQH already knew he would one day work for MBJ. While he feared for his life he probably had already in his head that he would be loyal to Mobei, so he entered the sect knowing he would spy for him. From the beginning he joined the sect with dishonest notions. But other than SQQ does any other Peak Lord has any idea about this? Because honestly, how fucking scary and impressive that SQH did this 😂

I don't think it's ever stated how long they knew about Shang Qinghua being a traitor (My memory is absolutely horrible, so I could be wrong) However im sure they can pinpoint the time a demon killed a lot of disciples with Shang Qinghua being the only survivor and was missing for some days then they mightve connected the dots to how long he's been a spy for Mobei Jun. I also don't think they interrogate him either, they just kinda let him back in after all the shit that went down

Looking back into the novel, Yue Qingyuan does let him back but there really was no interrogation from what I can find

Anon. I am so sorry to tell you that I am physically incapable of shipping Sho with anybody. Ever.

It's just a personal thing! Sho's one of my favourite characters ever and I project my aroaceness onto him HARD so shippy stuff with him is kind of a squick for me. This isn't to say that I think ships with him are BAD or anything they're just not my cup of tea!

That said! Sho and Neku are actually one of my absolute favourite dynamics in the series so I'm gonna do a platonic version of the bingo for them!

The fact that Neku's willing to give Sho a chance after everything he's done, choosing to believe that for all of his failures he is genuinely trying to be better is just so *chefs kiss* It shows how much both of them have grown since the first game. Not only has Neku become someone who can forgive Sho, but Sho's become someone who is worthy of forgiveness. I know neo gave up on the concept of them becoming partners in a new game, but I still love the idea of them being forced into Shinjuku and having to learn to work with and rely on each other as the city comes crashing down around them. I think them having some shared history where Neku actually saw Sho make a decision to change would be way more interesting than what we get in neo, which seems to be that Neku can just. Scan souls? Or something? Boring! Give me Neku and Sho enemies to friends arc or give me death

#also not to be a little hater but this why i dont get sho-beat (please dont show up in the main tag please dont show up in the main tag ple)#why on earth is BEAT the main choice for an enemies to lovers sho ship???? when Neku is RIGHT THERE #HES HAD ACTUAL SUBSTANTIAL INTERACTIONS WITH HIM.
