A swordmaster digimon that freely wields five swords, it wanders the Digital World and devotes itself to battle, thinking only about honing its sword techniques it is capable of unleashing slash attacks from the swords it holds on its four hands and the one equipped on its tail, so it's hard even for those with considerable skill to avoid it's attacks completely, it's special moves are:

● A combo using its four swords, Goren Danreizan

● A five directional slash, Gojū Rasendachi

It appears that the maw on its torso can release a scream that paralyzes its opponents, a move called Gokumon-Shibari, it rarely uses this move since it believes that enemies should be taken down only by slashing them.

DiMsection: Gammamon (BE)

As this Dim focuses primarily on the Gammamon-species family, so will we! XD

General Capture Data Overview:

As it is a species-focused Dim, the Gammamon BE Dim mostly consists of digimon within the Gammamon-species family. This family is uniquely varied among both its evolution branches and its origins, and has been the subject of some very interesting research. However, as the Dim also serves to tie into the Digimon Ghost Game (GG) anime, it also includes digimon associated with Gammamon from the series, as well as some additional digimon that fit neither criteria

Ecology in the Digital World:

Most environmental simulations are based on the various AR-Field cyberspaces deployed by the digivices of GG, and this is made clear by the hexagonal patterns that are clearly visible in most of them. However, later stages of the Adventure Mode show these sims as corrupted by the unique digimon occupying them.  

According to the Digimon Encyclopedia,  "Gammamon's evolution is said to be linked to a 'digital signal that came from extragalactic space'."

As such, the high variation in Gammamon’s evolutions, as well as their star-based naming conventions, are likely rooted in this.

Evolution Observations:

Both Bokomon and Gammamon are able to become Sealsdramon, which is notable considering previous capture data on the original Gammamon DiM had included Tankdramon, another D-Brigade digimon.  

Whilst previous capture data had shown the Gammamon-species family to possess four closely related adult variations alongside a unifying perfect form, this updated set revealed 5 new perfect forms. In addition to Canoweissmon, each adult can now develop as follows:

GulusGammamon can become Regulusmon, which has been compared to Megidramon in terms of power. Regulusmon is also the source of the Gulu-Realm Burst (GRB) factor, an infection that causes digimon to go completely feral, though Black Digitron may serve to protect against it. Gulus is the only Gamma-adult unable to become Canoweissmon

BetelGammamon can become Fumamon, a Data-attribute cyborg digimon that is an assassin skilled in the Fuma school of ninja techniques. Fumamon can also come from Sealsdramon, another cyborg-type assassin

WezenGammamon can become Ghilliedhumon, which is interesting for reasons we’ll get to later

KausGammamon, alongside BetelGammamon, can become Zanmetsumon. It also shares a second perfect with Wezen in the form of Bombermon.

Also present as a perfect form is Vamdemon, coming from either Sealsdramon or GulusGammamon. Presumably, Gulus could develop into such a state should a focus not be placed on developing the GRB factor.

In addition, the Gammamon-species family was found to have 2 associated mega forms, and a fusion form as well:

By infusing GRB back into Regulusmon, it will evolve into Arcturusmon, which has been proven by many simulations. Whether it has appeared in the Digital World proper is currently unknown, but if it does so it will likely cause a Digital Hazard & drastically change the environment, which is demonstrated in the simulated ones.

Canoweissmon (as well as Fumamon & Zanmetsumon) can become Siriusmon, a light dragon associated with the Virus Busters, but otherwise fairly unremarkable within that grouping 

The fusion of Siriusmon and Arcturusmon is Proximamon, a theoretical digimon for which most evolution data was kept tightly underwraps due to its ability to completely reshape its environment. It was found in a simulation on a high-speed computing device, so whether it exists in the real Digital World is unknown. Whilst many tamers have access to this digimon via this Dim, it’s become significantly less common due to it’s combat potential being lower than more recent Dim data in terms of abilities, and only a few cases have been recorded of this species going rouge.

Also present as possible mega forms are Kuzuhamon, Cannondramon, & Spinomon, each of with have interesting implications:

Spinomon: Coming from Ghilliedhumon, Spinomon continues to be a form usually rooted in a nature-focused dataset. When coming from Bombermon, however, it seems that the BBs it once deployed may have developed into its own spine-blades. It also seems to be the Virus branch of Canoweissmon’s evolution spectrum

Kuzuhamon: In this case, Kuzuhamon can come from 3 different Virus perfects, with an overlap in that 2 (Vamde & Bomber) both employ familiar-esque units that may develop into their kuda-gitsune. From Zanmetsumon, all I can think of is that the armor and swords used by it seem to be of a samurai-esque style, but I am NOT an expert on that in any capacity.

Cannondramon: The Data path of Canoweissmon’s evo-spectrum, but the truly fascinating aspect comes from the child level Koemon. In Digimon World 3, Koemon’s “natural mega form” was Cannondramon, via a path which developed its sharpshooting skills w/ its slingshot into a stronger ranged capability. In this data-set, Koemon can once again follow this type of path through Wezen & Ghilliedhu into Cannondra! This, combined with Bokomon being able to become the all-rounder BetelGammamon, implies that the Gammamon-species family is so adaptive that it can even change to integrate previous forms residual data in later evolutions!

Conclusion:

The Gammamon-species family is an interesting case in which the adaptability of digimon is pushed to its limit, and a perfect demonstration of how the specific stimuli a digimon is raised under can greatly alter its development. Gammamon BEM evolution chart from Humulos

Just saving it here to jot down what path to choose.

My endpoints are Proximamon, all Megas, and specifically Canoweissmon and Regulusmon because favs (might have to do Siriusmon twice if I want to evolve him to Proximamon). The path will need to cover all Digimons on this BEM. Since details on Jogress aren't out yet, I'll have to stick with normal evolution.

Also, due to my mistake, my first Gammamon was injured after losing 4 fights in a row (RNG is against me for some reason) and even though just waiting idly for half an hour will recover his injury, I don't want to push him any further, so his first evolution will be Wezengammamon.

One bad thing I've realized after trying out battles were that since there's no free battle in the app where you can select easy battle (the auto-matching will just match you with basically anyone with Digimons of any rank), the win rate requirement is a lot harder to achieve. (I think the battles in the app don't count towards the evolution requirement anymore? Might need to recheck.)

Edit Dec 3, 2022: Because many of the adventure mission bosses are Virus type, I'll have to build Siriusmon first. So he'll be the next one after I finished Cannondramon

Wh-What if I made a Pokemon Scarvi Digimon AU...

Instead of Time Travel Sada/Turo was obsessed with the Digital World...Penny Nemona and Arven were sucked in and they got partners...

Nemona is the easier to brainstorm for because there is a good bunch of battle obsessed Digimon, line is: Ryudamon - Liamon - Zanmetsumon - Kazuchimon

Honestly I'm half tempted to keep this in the Pokemon world cause could you Imagine how weird Digimon would be to a world used to Pokemon, they seem so similar but then there's the free evolution and the lore and the talking and I like the idea of everyone just getting thrown for a loop by the evolutions.

Arven and Penny I don't have clear lines for but the Child/Rookie forms are Labramon and Lopmon respectively. Either Way Penny's hacking skills are probably going to be very helpful in a world based around Data...I can imagine her doing what Erika can do in Hacker's Memory (the healing and buffing) with enough practice.

I HAVE GREAT NEWS, so, Guilmon and I were investing some of Zanmetsumon's data while he was asleep and when he woke up something amazing happened, just after Zanmetsumon woke up he informed Guilmon about a strange sensation that he described as hard bumping over all his body, and after three hours, Zanmetsumon evolved into a new specimen called "Siriusmon" after the initial shock, Guilmon and I ran some analysis of Siriusmon's data, he's still quite the swordsman and is still getting used to his new abilities, but we found something interesting, it appears that Siriusmon's data was created using already existing data inside Zanmetsumon, this data is information about stars and outer space, which means that Zanmetsumon's evolution was affected by his visit to the space Wikia page and the time he spent there, I still need more information to talk about siriusmon properly, so once I have it, I will give him a profile just like I did with his previous evolution.

On another topic, I finally gathered all the information I needed to code the function to connect the Digimon Dock to the Digital World, I plan on spending the rest of the night on that so I can have it by tomorrow and report everything about it, and I need this function to prove Siriusmon's battle capabilities too, so I hope I can add it tonight. I'll keep you updated.

WE DID IT, WE ACTUALLY DID IT, ok ok, there's actually not that much to talk about but what we have is interesting at the very least. We fought Zanmetsumon just less than an hour ago, we didn't beat him, obviously, but he admired our determination and strength, so after some time, he basically said he would help us, so one could say he basically joined our party, I did some research on Zanmetsumon's data and it's kind of unstable, and apparently, before our fight he visited a wiki page about constellations, and he seems pretty interested about it, so I guess he absorbed some of the data from that wiki site.

However, I know there's something else I need to address... Did we get the data to make a small connection to the Digital World? The answer is an absolute YES, WE DID IT, checking on Zanmetsumon's data, I found some residual information that apparently comes from a portal, it appears that the portals are made with a code that links the data of an area within the Digital World with similar data found on the internet, the code is actually simple enough for me to link up to 15 areas of the Digital World to the Digimon Dock, I wouldn't even need internet to link the areas to the Real World, I could just take some of Zanmetsumon's data to rebuild the areas artificially inside the watch, so I can confidently say that it was surprisingly simple, at this point I will spend the rest of the night and a bit of the early morning studying Zanmetsumon and writing a about him for this blog, with that being said, I'll keep you updated.

First of all, I apologize for not posting yesterday, second of all, WE TRAINED SO HARD, so, let me tell you what exactly happened.

As I said in the previous post, Guilmon and I dedicated the whole day to the training, our routine included shadowboxing to improve our attacks, sprinting to increase our evasion, crunches to better our resistance and the most important part, gaining battle experience, after all that exercise, I sent Guilmon back to my PC and we started searching for a strong digimon to fight against, we struggled a bit but in the end we found two interesting species, the first one being Siesamon a digimon apparently based on the Shiisa, japanese mythological creatures who are rumored to protect temples from evil spirits, the Siesamon we found wasn't feral, he was actually pretty pacific and well spoken, we found him guarding the official website of a church someone I know used to run, which may explain why that Siesamon was there in the first place, since the church member who coded the page was also was a member of the digital monster forums, so I'm sure he left Siesamon there so he could protect the website if anything were to happen, but yet again, I deviate from the topic, Siesamon despite being pretty logical and an overall pacifist, recognized my manners when chatting, so he was willing to help, not to join us, but to help us train a bit, and so we did, Guilmon was clumsy at the beginning obviously but we managed to improve our strategy and moveset, we managed to beat him a few times and moved on.

Do you remember that time I wondered where the evil digimon could be? Well... We got kind of an answer, I entered into a website I'm not going to mention but it has a bird as a logo, and wandering around, Guilmon found a Devidramon, an evil dragon type of digimon who was not visiting but CONDUCTING a gross violence page, he was apparently sapient enough to run the page but feral and violent, so when he noticed Guilmon, he attacked directly, since Devidramon took us by surprise, he got advantage for a while but when we noticed that he was just moving and attacking erratically, we managed to knock him out, we didn't kill him but reported the account and it's now closed, however Guilmon ended up pretty damaged, so we couldn't fight against Zanmetsumon that same day, I explained the situation while Guilmon was resting and Zanmetsumon understood the situation and admired what we did against Devidramon, the fight against Zanmetsumon will be held today, so let's have our fingers crossed and hope for the best, I'll keep you posted.
