A little analysis (in my opinion) of what Ghost might be like physically

I've seen a lot of people making hcs about how Ghost could physically be and I wanted to give my opinion (surely many will not agree with me). He is 6.2 / 6.4 ft tall but honestly the way I see him I have a hard time seeing him as a pumped up gym bro, same goes for his face and age. I really don't think that he can be younger than 35 years simply because in any case in his bio it is clearly written that he enlisted after the attacks of 09/11/01 and honestly (my opinion) when I see people giving him even 23 years as age I find it impossible.And above all in my case I see Sam as his faceclaim, and I struggle to understand why having him as the face of Ghost is being made fun of (proof is the fact that they scanned his face on his IG)

As for his physicality, I think he is muscular, but not that Jack Reacher type of muscular (in theory I don't even think steroids can be used in SAS since they are classified as drugs + with his trauma I don't think Ghost use steroids) as many people portray him but with a little of fat too.So in my opinion Ghost's physique is closer to this guy here(the model is called Kyle Sullivan) + Sam's face and hair colors(expect for the eyes, I think Ghost has hazel brown eyes and has more brownish hair)

I strongly encourage anyone thinking of doing multiple BG3 playthroughs to a) consider a DarkTav run and b) consider not killing the grove... but doing just about everything else.

Firstly, from a roleplay perspective you have far more character choice with DarkTav than say, an evil Durge run, because you have to justify why you would choose evil. The game can directly ask you to justify your choices and I think the why of evil is by far the most compelling question. Amnesia and reprogramming let you off the hook just a little too much for my liking. Commit to the bit. Be evil on purpose.

Secondly, I also think that an evil run works a lot better narratively if you don't kill the grove (though losing Minthara is an actual crime, mod this if you can). The proposition for killing the grove is weak regardless of your character motivation: it gains you almost nothing but some allies you were confident you could kill, and membership to a cult... who wants that? If anything, learning that the goblins and the Absolute are searching for you and the artifact should immediately set off alarm bells for any savvy evil protagonist.

So don't kill the grove. Save the tieflings out of convenience, and take the overland route into Act 2. And make every evil decision you would otherwise have made by killing the grove anyway. The game doesn't stop you. Killing the grove is not necessary. You still lose people, but you don't lose everyone, you have more control. Don't let your dreams stay dreams. Be evil on purpose.

Ch. 374 Leaks

So, I guess Hori is going to paint Hawks as bad for killing Twice now...

First of all it’s a little to late for that. After Twice was killed Hawks wasn’t framed as a bad person for doing so. As much as people say that him getting off scot-free during the press conference is supposed to be another failure of Hero Society, it wasn’t framed that way what-so-ever. It was framed as Enji and the rest of them trying to step up and do the best they could. It wasn’t sinister at all and zero people ever showed any hesitance over what he had done. This makes you think the plot was either dropped or that it was a sad but necessary thing.

Second of all Twice coming back to fuck over the Heroes isn’t a direct consequence of him being killed. Twice would have been on AfO’s side regardless of Hawks killing him or not--he made that perfectly clear when they fought the first time and with his actions during the MVA arc. Hori is passing it off as ‘see, you shouldn't have killed Twice because now he’s going to fuck things up’, but that only works if Hawks not killing him would have caused a different outcome, which from everything we’ve been shown wouldn't have been the case. Hori easily could have set it up to work that way but he didn’t.

Twice was never going to not follow his friends and do whatever they told him to do. He was devoted to them fully and nothing would have deterred him to our knowledge. Twice was never upset with all the killing they did and how much further Shigaraki wanted to go. He was fine with going after and possibly killing teenagers right out the gate because the only thing that mattered to him was that the LoV liked him and they were his friends. 

If Hawks hadn’t killed him Twice would have either escaped with the LoV and used his duplicate to help over run the city and kill as many people as possible (as we saw him do in Deika), or been arrested and given how Kurogiri was just sprung, probably ended up on the battle field again anyway. Hawks killing or not killing Twice has zero effect--he’d be here fighting the Heroes anyway. It’s not a fitting punishment for Hawks that he’s back because his actions wouldn't have changed this scenario either way. Twice was always going to duplicate himself or his allies and try and murder as many people as possible because his ‘family’ told him to. 

On top of that Hawks is, I guess, supposed to be wrong for wanting to kill Twice again, but like I said above the writing undermines this message. We have never seen someone talk down a villain with success ever. Not even Stain stuck around to actually help out, he just gave All Might a letter, cheered him up and fucked off (plus it wasn’t even useful in the long run anyway). Hawks is the only Hero who even tried to talk a villain. Sure, it wasn’t the best, but it was better then just sticking a knife in his back and calling it a day. If Hori wanted the killing Twice option to be so clearly wrong, he shouldn’t have had Hawks bother to try talking to Twice at all. Now both options look like failures and that neither would work, yet only one is suddenly the wrong choice. 

The whole thing is so disappointing because there was a way this plot could have worked but Hori never pulled it of. He just couldn’t have Hawks kill Twice in cold blood, nor could he have Twice (or any of the other LoV members for that matter) show any concern or displeasure at the extreme methods they were being asked to do. Yet, despite not doing those things in the story, Hori is still pushing Hawks’ actions as wrong now. If he was going to do that Hori shouldn't have chickened out and just have made Hawks completely in the wrong to begin with.

End blood quantum now

Blood quantum is how much native blood you have in you and it needs to be a certain threshold to qualify you as a tribal member. Blood quantum varies from tribe to tribe.

It means my mom is a tribal member but because my dad is outside of my tribe... I don't have enough tribal blood to enroll. Neither does my daughter. Our "official" indigeneity ended with me.

My dad is still native tho. Just southern native. Others have two parents enrolled in separate tribes and can't enroll in either one despite being Full native because their parents were mixed with other tribes so they don't have enough blood of Any tribe to qualify.

And to what end are they doing this?

Under the treaties the US govt can lay no claim to native land. So how do they fix that? Get rid of the natives, of course.

And since they can't slaughter us in broad daylight anymore they did the next best thing. What the colonial government has ALWAYS done to us and other poc.

Made up a bunch of arbitrary laws to restrain and limit our power and numbers.

And this can't continue. We are the only race who needs to apply to be part of the community we were born into. The only race who needs to prove our blood.

And that's the thing: it's not even based on blood. Racist scientists defined who was a full-blooded native based on things like shoe size, head circumference, and skin pigment.

Not blood. And besides that it wasn't uncommon for outsiders to become part of a tribe!! You didn't need to be native by blood to be native! Blood quantum has made it IMPOSSIBLE for them to qualify and made it impossible for tribes to practice that long time aspect of our culture.

So please share this post. So many people legitimately think natives are extinct and even less are aware that we do more than just sit around drinking all day. Few people have good feelings about us and within that there are a few who actively help. Please be one of those few.

Haven't heard from family in days. I feel like it's time to accept they're gone. I know in my heart Palestine will, one day, be free, but it wasn't supposed to be like this.

We feared another Nakba, and it happened. 700,000 pushed out of their homes in 1948 to 1 million being forced to leave their homes in 2023.

We thought it couldn't get worse or more deadly than the Israeli invasion in 2014, and it happened. We lost 2,251 people in 50 days then. Now we're past 2,300 in one week.

What I heard most from my grandmother the first days it's that "this time is different". And I feel like a rock is crushing my heart in pieces because i've been hoping that speaking out, teaching people about the historical oppresion of Palestine would help but it's not helping. Nothing is changing.

I feel like I'm screaming into a void. There's some sympathy from people online, until I see content documenting Palestinian oppresion being flagged as 'hate speech' or check the comments of any updates on Gaza and it's: "blame it on hamas", "tell them to give up hamas", "the hamas asked for it". They're not even among civilians!!!!!

My heart feels full seeing the manifestations in favor of Palestine, then I see police forces breaking protests apart and remember that the people that can actually save Gaza don't care.

Netanyahu supported the Hamas militant group to prevent the establishment of the Palestine State, and now he's using them to justify his agenda of ethnic cleansing. He abandoned Israelis and left them to die because he cares more about seeing Gazans dead!

Every single person and institution supporting and financing Israel is complicit. I hope the deaths of every Palestinian haunts you for the rest of your lives and that you never find an ounce of forgiveness, for you do not deserve it.

Just as in the Iraq War, the US government is financing and cheering for the slaughter of millions of innocent Arab lives. The media is complicit by engaging in biased propaganda and other nuclear powers, such as the UK and Germany, are complicit too. You are fascists and war criminals and every drop of Palestinian blood is in your hands. I hope every single day, for the rest of your lives, you look in the mirror and see nothing but the blood you've helped spill.

This serves as yet another proof that not a single Western in a position of power, be it in the media or in government, sees Arabs as humans beings.

For decades, the US has comitted terrorism and crimes against humanity in the Middle East and has NEVER been held accountable. Over one million in Iraq; over 150,000 in Afghanistan; and now they'll turn Gaza into a graveyard. Punishing selected soldiers over the years does not erase the fact that the American military and its government validates their crimes during execution and are never punished for it.

Please never forget: Joe Biden is a genocidal terrorist, Rishi Sunak is a genocidal terrorist, the American Democrat Party and UK's Labour Party are led by genocidal terrorists, the European Union is led by genocidal terrorists, fuckass Walt Disney Company is led by genocidal terrorists; every celebrity that called for Palestinian death or stood by silently while ignoring our suffering is a genocidal terrorist.

May Allah protect the people in Palestine and grant the martyrs the highest level of Jannah. Wallah what keeps me here is knowing that the Akhirah is theirs. May Almighty Allah grant us imaan and Taqwa as high as the people of Gaza. Ameen.
