The London Clay from @omvedgardens has been quite surprising; It’s thrown well, been a great glaze addition and it’s able to take high temperature firing too. The first image fired to 1260, it’s just started to blister slightly and warp a little but nowhere near what I expected. Although I quite like the metallic purple brown aesthetic realistically that’s a bit too hot and I feel the clay is being pushed further than it wants to go? The clay looks beautiful fired at around 1080, its a lovely rich red terracotta and I think I will fire the pots at that temperature?
