none of the dragons could say what had caused their attachment to you, but they certainly had their theories — lotus dragon cookie believed it was something to do with biology (the need to protect their young), lychee dragon cookie thought it was just a matter of you being adorable, ananas dragon cookie blamed pride (the need to prove themselves as powerful by protecting something as fragile as a mortal child), and pitaya dragon cookie didn’t care enough about underlying reasons to hypothesise about any

not that any of that affected how they treated you, of course, because at the end of the day you were their child and they all adored you in kind regardless of your origins

pitaya dragon cookie’s time with you was spent being playful and adventurous — flying with you in their arms, play fighting with you (and sometimes even letting you win), tossing you up in the air and carrying you under their arm, and just generally doing whatever they can to have you positively shrieking with laughter

lychee dragon cookie is by far the most affectionate member of your new family — smothering you with hugs and kisses whenever you visit their island, bragging about how you’re ‘the most adorable child in the world’ to anyone who will listen, happily resting with you curled up in their arms even when they’re actually quite busy, and generally being a very doting parental figure who loves you more than anything else

lotus dragon cookie does whatever they can to ensure you are set up for a successful life as you grow up: hiring the best tutors for each subject from across the world to ensure that you only get the highest quality of education mortals can offer, using their servants to make sure you keep on top of your studies between sessions of lounging and play, offering their own insights into subjects like history and biology when asked, offering dozens of rewards and incentives for every success, and just generally being an incredibly supportive figure in your life despite coming across as a bit overbearing at times

ananas dragon cookie, meanwhile, instills a strong sense of pride within you and never misses an opportunity to spoil you rotten and show you how much better you are than other mortals: covering you in jewellery and fancy clothes, buying you any toy you ask for the moment you mention it to them, paying for grand outings to fun places around the world, making sure you have as many enjoyable experiences as possible as you grow up, and encouraging you to look down on others whenever you come across them (the other dragons also share that view, they’re just a bit more subtle about it around you)

really you were set to grow up loved and educated and understood in your found family of dragons… until longan dragon cookie found you

until they saw you all on your own, a tiny fragile mortal in the realm of the silver dragon

until they decided to deal with you in the way that they deemed the most appropriate for such an ‘offence’

until you were turned to stone before you could even blink; the eternal child frozen before you even had the time to scream, expression contorted with the beginnings of a terror you never truly got to experience or perceive

until your life came to a sudden, bitter, cold end — just another statue amongst the hundreds that adorned their lair

… your family never was the same after that unforgivable offence, after losing you because of some stupid oversight that led them to bring you with them to that meeting (because, surely, between the four of them they should have been able to keep you safe… should)

they blame themselves, blame each other, and of course are all furious with longan — which leads to them all burning their bridges and going in their own directions to grieve

lotus and lychee have support systems in their followers and, whilst they never truly get over their loss, they are able to live with it afterwards as the centuries go on

ananas returns to their isolation and becomes much more volatile and violent to any mortals that try and approach their lair, grief turning to anger as they relive that day over and over again — they are the one that took what remained of you after the fact and they keep on talking to it in the hopes of bringing you back one day

pitaya leaves everything behind and starts a new life in another kingdom, abandoning their draconic body and becoming an adventurer to avoid their grief — and they do so very well until they run into hollyberry cookie and her companions and end up face to face with a young hatchling that needs to be cared for

a child, so like you and yet so very unlike you at the same time, that forces them to finally face their grief and it breaks them — they are distant in their help with snapdragon cookie but they do offer advice when asked, but it doesn’t hurt any less when they see them and see your excitable face in their own

it hurts, but they will live on no matter how impossible that seems to them in the present

none of them outgrow your loss and they all grieve you and the life you should have had, but that grief manifests differently for each of your family members: pitaya leaves their old life behind, ananas festers in their grief and refuses to leave the past in the past, lotus adapts their grief and grows from it by doing things in your honour, and lychee becomes more isolated and reliant on those under their control to fill the void you left — all different, all separate, all grieving

except for longan, of course, who feels nothing for the life they took for they didn’t know or care to know of the impact that life would have despite how short it had been

you were loved

you are loved

you will always be loved

even if that love changes and grows in your absence

Longan Dragon Cookie once had a twin sibling

You were the twin of Longan Dragon Cookie. Both of you are inseparable ever since hatchlings and always stay together.

Despite being twins, the two of you have different personalities. A very huge one that is.

Longan Dragon is seen as a serious and judgmental while you on the other hand is a total opposite of them.

You are a kind hearted, gullible and compassionate dragon. You care about the cookies and befriends them.

Your friendliness towards cookies was disliked by Longan Dragon and they often warned you about the consequences of befriending with such mortals.

Despite not showing much emotion, Longan Dragon Cookie loves their twin with all their heart but their pride and judgment are always ahead of them.

This causes an argument between the two of you. Since both of you see things differently.

Longan Dragon Cookie wants to turn all cookies into stones and reshape the world.

While you think that their plans are ridiculous and told them that the world is already perfect as it is.

"So, it seems that you are turning too soft, (Y/n) Dragon Cookie. You have forgotten who you are! You are such a disappointment to dragonkind and to me. You have become worthless as those mortals and deserve to become one of them" Longan Dragon said, glaring down at their younger twin.

"Fine! It seems I'm better off as a cookie! I wish I was never a dragon and I wish I was never your twin!" you growled.

You ran away from the place and never came back.

Longan Dragon foresees the event and it burns their heart. The pain that refuses to leave. The small ivory throne next to them is now empty.

The hall once filled with your laughter is now filled with silence.

Longan Dragon doesn't know where you are, you disappear without a trace like you never exist.

Longan Dragon knew that every word and action they did had consequences. They foresee their actions and yet they don't want to avoid it.

They knew you would leave and never to return but why didn't they stop it?

And if they did, they wouldn't have lost the only dragon they call as their twin. The one that was baked from the same flour and jam as them.

I blame a song for this, but here is this au thing-

Each ancient has a different curse/ability relating to a different legendary or something, and for a while they are stuck in a different area from their kingdoms (if they have one), and also are separated from being able to ask anyone for help through any means, magic included. Enchantress most likely did this as a form of anger outlash, but that part isn't for certain. But they have found other ways to communicate if needed. The list is as follows-

Hollyberry, under Sea Fairy- Her curse is her being stuck under water and not being able to surface for however long it might take for one of her family or something to come and find her under water. But her water-based abilities keep her from dying under water, though it slowly and gradually turns her into a being of the sea. Sea Fairy updates her family on her condition and is helping figure out a thing to help her get back to her family. Would maybe be the last to be rescued

Dark Cacao, under Frost Queen- His curse makes it to where he can't find his way back to his kingdom, and he can't ever make it back lest someone he's fully close to finds and guides him. But due to Frost Queen having been watching over his kingdom and all, she had gifted him the ability to not freeze to death, though he still feels the pain of the cold affecting him. She's trying to manage watching over the king and his kingdom, alongside trying to find his son who he still deeply trusts and cares for. Is maybe the fourth to be rescued.

Pure Vanilla, under Timekeeper- His curse is where he is stuck in a constant time loop and being unable to break free from the loop of the battle him and his friends did against Enchantress and is forced to follow the timeline loop of himself. While Timekeeper often isn't one to be very helpful at times with curses, she has given him the ability to pause the loop for a certain amount of time and can ignore everything from it when he closes the staff's eye. She's trying to guide Gingerbrave and his group to where White Lily is stuck, so that she can help free him in time for the others. Admittedly still not being much help due to weird ways of sharing information. Is the second one to end up being rescued

Golden Cheese, under Fire Spirit and Pitaya- Her curse is pretty much to be constantly cooked/have her wings painfully melt and to have flames constantly coming from her core, making it painful to do any movements or any form of crying. Pitaya/Fire Spirit aren't much help but do both give her at least some form of fire immunity, even though she isn't allowed to be near her kingdom as a result of her high temperatures. Is the third to be rescued

White Lily, Under a fight between Millennial Tree and Sugar Swan and also Dark Enchantress- She is the only one being actively fought over, but because of this she is the first one needing to be rescued, that way Enchantress won't be able to corrupt her. Sugar Swan was corrupted, but Millennial Tree has been able to keep Lily incased in a stone statue and unaware of the further fighting and to hopefully stop the curse that would be spreading to her slowly and accidentally from Dark Enchantress/Future her. But both Millennial Tree and Sugar Swan have given her ties to nature and to possibly cookie life, so she already knows some ways cookies can be made. Timekeeper leads Gingerbrave and his group to her, and she is the first one rescued after Ginverbrave and Co. beats Enchantress enough to make her flee for the time being. Is also the one that would eventually beat sense into Enchantress in the final fight with the help of some of the others

Them seeing you get married!

Wildberry - He would be so happy for you, it does hurt a little that he wanted to be the groom. "Congratulations!.." After the wedding he'll be isolating himself, Avoiding you.

Crunchy Chip - He is jealous. He didn't go to the wedding, Dark Cacao asked him why and his excuse was that he felt like a grudge towards you and your s/o.

Dark Choco - It was painful, He is happy for you but he didn't stay long. He left a note saying: "Congrats..I hope they love you until the very end."

Pitaya Dragon - They never went to your wedding. They denied that you were getting married. "NO, THAT SSSHOULD'VE BEEN ME. NOT THAT BASSTARD." They couldn't handle it, they wanted to be yours..

Ananas Dragon - They went to the wedding but didn't stay after the kiss. They acted like they don't care at all but inside their heart ached. "I knew it. I guess in another life then."

an especially angsty prompt idea: knight cookie loses a limb fighting piyata dragon (who probably thought "this kid took my arm,im taking a limb of his). tea knight is more concerned with the dragon still being alive,rather than his family member's safety. this is just the start of their relationship fracturing.

Flames from the Red Dragon lit up the battlefield, scorching the land and warriors unable to get behind cover. Those that did? They would become all too familiar with heat that rivaled the core of Earthbreath itself. Behind the noble blade belonging to the legend known to be Tea Knight, he and the same-blooded squire Knight would face the brunt of the dragon's onslaught. Being a well-known enemy to dragons, of course, the two of them would catch the beast's attention. Sweating beneath his armor, Tea Knight would push against the force of the flames, only swinging his axe and the flames once he was certain the blaze would pause.

However, the anticipation of one attack would leave room for neglecting another. Too soon, the dragon would swipe its claws at the two that taunted the dragon's attention. In a moment of instinct, the smaller of the two- the blonde used to protecting those he drew close to- would jump in front of the warrior in order to defend him. Sword set against draconic claws, the clash would only last for a moment. Fortunately, Tea Knight would be unscathed given that moment to get out of the claws' range, but the same could not be said for Knight. Once his blade was knocked from his hold, the blonde would find that the force not only caused the blade to fly, but the remaining movement of the swipe had landed square upon Knight's shoulder.

Being knocked back onto the charred land, Knight could feel a pulsing pain through where his limb had been hit. No, not just hit… Severed. Knight's body tensed, frozen as his eyes fixated on the horror of his right arm entirely missing.

Torn flesh would quickly become stained with red, the flow unstaunched and quick to gush. The bone was cracked and shattered, pieces lodged in the exposed arteries and veins that had the blood go nowhere but outward. Dripping blood would splatter on the singed grass, staining it a deep maroon. The searing pain through where his arm lacked would find itself rearranging through the victim's shoulder and part way through his chest.

A moment of panic narrowly made Knight believe that the agony would make his heart stop, yet it kept beating. Beating through his chest, his head, his ears. It was all he could hear in the heat of war.

Forcing his mind to focus for at least a moment beyond the horrific sight of his wound, his vision- though blurred- was able to make out Tea Knight fighting on. It would have been a virtuous sight had it not been for Knight's grievous injury. Yet, even whilst the dragon paused in its onslaught, only a mere glance was given back toward him. Though it may be his mind drowning in the blood being drained from him, something about this moment brought a chill of despair over him.

His safety was never a priority, was it? The dragon was. Beasts over family it was, then? It… seemed so…

Can I please request the Dragons reacting to a dying Reader Cookie who saved them from a hoard of Dragon Hunters?

Enjoy the milkshake! Now this is my first time writing angst so this might be mid or absolute trash

Losing a treasure

-platonic or romantic-

!TW! This will have major character death, bad coping mechanisms, blood and implied murder under the cut

Pitaya Dragon + Snap Dragon

The dragons valley has always been full of dragon hunters, it’s nothing new

But with Snap Dragon here it’s become a bit more challenging to deal with dragon hunters

And everything went by so fast the next thing they new there was blood in front of Snap Dragon and them

It wasn’t a dragon hunters blood though…

IT WASN’T A DRAGON HUNTERS BLOOD

Snap Dragon was nudging you and babbling in a very confused and worried manner

Snap Dragon didn’t know what happened

But Pitaya knew.

Pitaya knew what happened.

You were trying to protect them…

But those dragon hunters… those dragon hunters slaughtered you in cold blood…

Pitaya was so angry

Now Pitaya didn’t want Snap Dragon to see what was about to happen so they told the young dragon to turn around…

Snap Dragon finally understood that not all cookies were good…

Ananas Dragon

Some cookies who wanted to build a town on the tropical soda islands

Now they didn’t have permission to, but they went with it anyways

Now it was a freak accident, they were demolishing some trees and you had gotten in the way to try and stop them

But a tree collapsed on you…

Now when The Golden Dragon got there, the amount of RAGE they felt was enough to boil someone alive

Not only did they destroy some of their beautiful land, they also killed one of their most beloved cookie

Now… the dungeons were probably the best thing about the punishment bestowed upon them…

Lotus Dragon

A cookies greed wasn’t anything new to the Blue Dragon

But they didn’t know how far somebody would go to get what they want..

A cookie was angry that they didn’t get their wish granted

They stormed to the lotus palace and took their anger out on the first cookie they saw… they saw you first..

Their precious treasure…

The cookie who brought your life to an end was soon begging for forgiveness

Forgiveness would be the last thing they would get from The Blue Dragon…

Lychee Dragon

Lychee Dragon didn’t keep a good eye on the monsters

Those monsters were just so aggressive towards everyone… even you

Oh the amount of pain they felt when they cleared the scene and saw your body bloodied up on the ground

No one on that island had felt such an earthquake in their life

Now Lychee Dragon would blame they stupidity of the monsters

But deep down they knew… it was their fault…

Longan Dragon

Oh… those foolish adventurers…

To slaughter someone that was so precious to the dragon right in front of them..

Now they might not be the most empathetic, but it still hurt

So they froze you in stone and placed you down by their throne

You were the only reason why they might rethink their plans…

But now…

They knew that cookie kind deserved to suffer…

Hello! It's been awhile hasn't it?

Could I get the Dragon cookie's x Oldest sibling reader

Where reader is the DragonLord Placidusax from elden ring, can I get this request to be set in the part where the dragon's were in a standoff with each other. But their battle shook the earth that it unearthed a supposed long dead dragon, and they all see a large shadow hidden in the storm soon revealing itself to be reader, in a state of decay similar to Placidusax, and reader had lost all semblance of sense so long ago, and just like in the game you fight Placidusax.

All I got from the wiki is that the dragon's were born from A volcano in the tropical archipelago, so I headcannon them as siblings with a difficult relationship.

If you can't tell I'm a sucker for heavy/dark angst especially when the mc dies, I'm not a sick person, I just think that an important character dying just gives so much emotion to those who held them dear and would make their character develop. And that's why I send you request of reader dying because your one of the few writers who allow that.

I'm hope this request isn't a bother, I tend to make them long length wise and I add way too much details on my part.

Molded, Battered, Whole (The Five Dragons)

The spear attack is pretty cool. Hope this does your request justice!

In the fight against Longan Dragon Cookie, the amount of power exhilarated by the five dragons rumbled the land of Earthbread. Power that would soon awaken something ancient, something powerful, something once thought to be the stuff of legend, soon to become reality.

The volcano within the archipelago was surrounded by vicious storms, red lightning littered the dark and cloudy skies as the land rumbled. Longan themself was taken aback by this sudden feeling of power in the atmosphere if only for a little bit, with their eyes opening up more for a second

Pitaya Dragon was more enthusiastic compared to the others as this sense of power brung them the possibility of fighting something or someone that had substantial power compared to them!

Ananas Dragon was more steadfast, wondering exactly who was exerting this sense of power, it certainly wasn’t coming from Longan! This intense pressure was coming from somewhere else, within that sudden storm to be more specific

Lotus Dragon pondered on the source of this energy they were feeling. Like Ananas, they didn’t believe it was coming from Longan since, admittedly, this power was on a different level to that of Longan. So exactly who was this dragon that’s making them feel this way…?

Lychee Dragon chirped as they were quick to announce the situation, even before Longan could say anything. This level of power was familiar! This realization struck the dragons all together! No way…it couldn’t be…

Was that Y/N Dragon Cookie?! The fabled eldest 6th dragon?! They were thought to be mere myth! Having been sighted WAY before the other dragons showed up, even before Longan!

If the gaze of Longan was enough to have cookies freeze up, then your presence alone would do that and a glare would send them to the ground. The time spent in this world and the time you’ve been slumbering has not done your appearance any favors.

Your colors were faded, wings and scales scarred and even crumbling in some places. Your arms and legs against the test of time haven’t fared so well that even tiny bits of mold started to form. The aforementioned scars also littered areas of your body, their origin a mystery. The look of your dough was grey and your eyes were glossed over and faded, it would be a fair assumption to think you were blind.

Though the red lightning strike towards the dragons coming VERY close indicates otherwise. You didn’t put much behind it and it was still considered incredibly strong by the others’ standards

“Heehee, looks like they’re a little cranky after waking up from their nap!”

“If they were really all there, you’d be reduced to dust. Their aim is impeccable, something is not right…”

“I’ll tell you what! Maybe a fight will snap them out of it!”

“Longan: Don’t underestimate Y/N Dragon, time has not been the best for them, but they still have the capability of erasing you from existence. Even I would be steadfast here.”

“All the more exciting to me!”

“Ananas: Normally I too wouldn’t consider this if alone, but with all of us here, we might have a chance.”

Even with the odds of numbers on their side, it was an extremely tough battle. Disappearing into storm clouds, lightning slashes from your claws, even a lightning spear that you detonated right in their faces, sending them backwards. Fighting back only seemed to make you use all your moves faster and in more frequency.

It seemed Longan was capable of handling many hits from you, but good lord did they still hurt. They even considered using their dragon form for this fight!

Pitaya was thrilled to be fighting a incredibly strong opponent, even if it was their eldest sibling. The absolute power in your attacks gave them a sense of a rush they’ve never felt before!

Snide remarks were absent from Lychee as they actually had to take this fight seriously, your attacks actually seem to have malicious intent behind them! That was just mean! Even if you weren’t completely sane in the head!

Lotus actually getting their hands dirty here as a fight with you meant all of the dragons had to play their part here. The loss of energy meant really needing to hit you where it hurts!

Ananas was actually surprised that you were exactly as powerful as the others made you out to be. This was quite the drop in confidence for them with how you meant business, but he tried to shake it off as they were still fighting!

It was a long and difficult battle, but in one final attack from all 5 of them, they were finally able to bring you down from your frenzy as you fell out of the sky. They quickly flew in after you to catch you before you hit the ground. Signs of their fight were not pretty to view at up close.

It was a relief that you actually woke up from all that, albeit you were pretty grumpy about it. Man did everything hurt. You lambasted them for their use of heavy force on you despite how old and worn down you were at this point.

Longan was a little unsympathetic, you attacked them with great strength, so it was only fair they responded in kind. You only grumbled irritatingly at that response.

Lotus was quick to try and rectify that stating that you were lost in the mind and so felt like the only way to cure that was to knock it out of you. You weren’t sure if you should feel better from that response.

Cookies that weren’t aware of your existence were made known of it now. The fabled 6th dragon that was older then the rest, with the power that even a glance would turn a cookie into crumbs! Though if they had actually gone to meet you, they’d see you were less regal and more like a grouch. You didn’t disregard cookies entirely, but preferred that you were left alone.

Ever since awakening, you pretty much joined the dragon circle after Lychee wouldn’t stop bugging you about it. Sleeping was nice, but you guessed you could use this opportunity awake to have a little reunion with your younger siblings.

Longan, being the youngest next to you, felt like they had the most capability of understanding you, something you were quick to remind them that, you knew and has done things that were WAY above even their understanding. But…you suppose you could open up to them about your time in these lands, satisfying the ivory dragon. Essentially being their mentor had made Longan questioning to themselves if it was really okay for a dragon to have a more well meaning feeling for another…

You didn’t want to admit it, but Lychee being the youngest in the group had made you feel a little protective over them, even if they did annoy the hell of you for it. But..Lychee appreciated that you were looking out for them, even if you deny it a thousand times.

You humored Lotus to play their mandolin, hating yourself when you actually nodded to their tunes, something Lotus took great pleasure in. You grumbled that their playing was “inadequate”, but Lotus only smiled at you and wouldn’t mind playing for you again sometime.

Pitaya kind of apologized a little for going too hard on you from the fight, with you growling from being reminded of that embarrassing defeat. You would’ve wiped the floor with them if it was one on one! Pitaya then offered to spar with you to get just that, a one on one! You took satisfaction in defeating the red dragon, but that quickly goes way when you see that Pitaya was enjoying fighting with you, you only growled in irritation. Though Pitaya swears that when they’re not looking, you were doing your best to suppress a small smile.

Ananas took a humble class when you weren’t exactly impressed by their feats, seeing it as being insignificant in your eyes. Ananas was annoyed by your lack of interest, but saw it as a challenge to try and come up with ways to really impress you. That would be a major ego boost that Ananas managed to impress you, the eldest dragon, with their feats!

It was a rough start at the beginning, with you being mostly steadfast at their attempts to get to know you better, especially after the fight. You had the right idea to just leave them once you healed up..

And yet you stayed.

You allowed yourself to return the favor by getting to know them too and over the years, slowly letting go of your resentment and actually participating in their plans. They took the sight of you slightly smiling in their presence as the biggest victory. Maybe being reunited with your younger dragon siblings wasn’t so bad after all…

But all things come to an end eventually, you were still old and very much tired at the end of the day. The years that go by did little to show that you were going to last long in this day in age. The other dragons knew this and did their best to help you with things you can no longer do and even felt a little worried that there will be a night that you slumbered and may never wake up from.

They actually grew disheartened at the thought, they had just gotten you back and the years went by so quick, and you were just going to leave them again…?

The dragon remained strong as they laid you within the lava of the volcano, where you floated on. You chuckled to yourself, this was really the end of the line for you. Longan commented that this wasn’t really the time to be humorous, what a party pooper you tell them, at least allow you to go out how you want it to be.

You could hear it in Longan’s tone that they were trying to hold back emotions, emotions that you gave them. Longan hated them..they hated you for making them feel this way, this pain in their heart…

Lychee didn’t try to suppress anything, they were sadden that you had to go now. They had a lot of fun spending time with you, their eldest sibling, it was stupid that this world decided that it was now time for you to go. Who’s going to look after them?! You patted their head and reminded Lychee that they had the others to look out for them, it was inevitable that your life on this world wasn’t for long. Lychee wanted to refute this, but said nothing. They wanted YOU to look out for them, it just wasn’t the same with you gone.

Pitaya commemorated the many fights you had with them, stating that those were definitely some of the best they’ve had. You training them as well? It was a thrill they’ve never experienced before! You grumbled, stating that the ratio between your wins and theirs were too far apart to catch up now…but you say that the foes they fight in the future will help them match up to your victories soon. Pitaya just tried to hide their face from the conversation, what good were their future opponents if they weren’t going to give Pitaya the thrill of the fight like you did!

Lotus reveled in the fact you liked their music, something you abruptly tried to deny, but you weren’t fooling them. You liking their music meant a lot to Lotus, it was a shame you can’t be around long enough to enjoy more of your music, it felt incomplete to have the dragons be their audience without you in it.

Ananas tried to remain prideful that you were receiving a dragon’s farewell, done and done. What they didn’t expect to hear from you was your saying that you were impressed by now. Ananas was willing to let go of their pride and offering assistance to those they considered beneath them, like the Cookies. Ananas tried to deny it, there were many things they’ve done you COULD be impressed by, this feat shouldn’t be the one! You told them to stuff it, you were impressed by their acts of mercy and you’re sticking by it. Ananas halted on a response, but came up with nothing. In their head….something as easy as being nice to some Cookies was enough for you? Guess that means they’ll lend help to the cookies more often then…

…

It was time…

Everyone remained silent as you finally closed your eyes, Lotus playing their mandolin as you floated on the lava.

Your body beginning to fade away into dust as the wind carried them away, Lychee struggles from this sight. The dragons close their eyes as they honored your passing.

A framed painting of you was kept in Longan’s palace, a painting they were incredibly protective over. Anyone who wished to disrespect your name was met with the intense ire from the dragons, Longan would not hesitate to crush the pathetic cookie into pieces over a transgression like that.

That is if the other dragons don’t rip them apart first…

Pitaya dragon x reader

Tw: yandere themes, protective and possessive behaviour, kidnapping, isolation, murder, forced relationship

Kinda crappy near the end, because my friend had asked this of me and I had no idea how to put this idea together so here my attempt

It was well know for the Queen, hollyberry, to venture out of the kingdom to chase down the legendary red dragon, a hunt that had been going on for years. Though even if those constant trips of coming back bruised or bloody, she still stood proud and tall in keeping her kingdom safe within its walls. Including her subjects.

When the dragon striked, it was like all hell had clawed it’s way up from the soil into the kingdom, burning building to the ground, killing the inhabitants almost out of the blue. Even hollyberry did not know what had angered this beast to cause this much chaos that the kingdom had to endure.

But oh you knew..you knew exactly what had angered them.

The wind was crisp as the autumn glow of the sun seeped through the cracks in the wooden door. You struggled to get the slightly tattered boots on, out grown them years ago but to poor to get a new pair. A small jacket would do, as well as thin gloves and a hat to keep your dough of your head warm. You planned on enjoying a cold august evening in a small but rather beautiful part of forest beyond the guarded walls. But you long have been able to avoid the eyes of the particularly wary guards that stood on the bricks and bricks of the carefully constructed mountain like walls. Today would be no different, you would anticipate for this day each week to spend quality time with the outside world.

With a quiet yet heavy sigh, with all your warm covering on, it would be a breeze to get around without a freeze. The door to your house flew open gently with the help of your hand twisting the doorknob, a prickle that tickled your nose had just arrived. It did not take long to passed the walls, and when on the other side and out of view, you snuck carefully into the bushes where a crooked and bushy dirt path layed behind its green vibrancy. Continuing on this path you did, hoping over fallen branches after branch, already have mapped out where to step and not to step. But a groan had stoped your cookie legs from walking any farther, another much louder groan of pain echoed out through the surrounding area, followed by a quiet mutter of profanity’s.

Both out of curiosity,concern, and a hint of fear, your body had turned to the sound, the fur lining on your jacket gracing the side of your face and tickling the outer parts of your neck. Footsteps of yours pattered over to the trees, in which those trees thick branches had been broken. With some difficulty, you managers to wiggle your way through the sharp edges, only to be greater with piercing red eyes staring back at you, a large spiked sword raised to point at you as the owner layed on the ground helplessly. The interestingly dressed cookie had a gash on his right side, claw marks, stretching from there rib cage to the upper thigh area. A-few other injuries littered the dough, but not as closely as how much blood had leaked out there side. “Back the fuck up or I’ll-“ in a flash the cookie had started to cough up thick red liquid. Now with the blood seeping from his mouth and the now noticeable swelling on his left eye, the cookie suddenly fell backwards on there back, coughing up more of the liquid that invaded there throat, and soon passing out.

And you just watched his happen…wait..I JUST WATCHED A COOKIE DIE? griping the sides of your jacket, running and sitting down beside this stranger you had encounter, and checked for a pulse…there still was one..I can do this..I’m training in medicine I can actually do this..I can help them.

And somehow you had been able to drag this EXTREMELY heavy beast of a cookie back through the wall and to your house. Now you stood over him with a light frown, finishing up the bandages that wrapped around the torso and arms, a-few here and there were not the best bandages you’ve done, but not the less they were secure and keeping the stitching, medical cream and other oddments from beings damaged/ wiped off. The more you got into cleaning the gashes to stitching them up, you had noticed that..he shouldn’t have survived such wound for that long. then it dawned, this wasn’t a cookie..this was a DRAGON. Panic you did, scrambling through your house at the thought. You had just brang a dragon, a fucking DRAGON in the hollyberry kingdom, a kingdom where it’s queen hunter these creatures. But you’ve never seen them in cookie form, you thought it was a myth that dragons could turn into cookies!

It didn’t help that when this beast had finally awoken, they were already trying to kill you while you tried to explain what was happening to him and where he was. The dragon was in raged…until you had offered him food that is. With that words uttered from your mouth, this previously raging dragon made sat down onto the couch that he had previously ripped up, grumbling a “hurry up then”

That’s how you met them, the legendary red dragon, a feared foe of the queen, chaos itself, raw power in one being. That was months ago. You had grown fond of each other a-few weeks after helping him, and they would visit’s regularly with that same aggression but now almost friendly attitude. He was a friend of yours, a good friend of yours, so much of a good friend you told him about a cookie you had been seeing lately. And oh, that’s when he flipped. He left that day, as quick as he came. Not seeing them since that terrible day, well, until now that is. That rage that had built up over the few days of the incident, was now being let loose on the people of hollyberry kingdom.

Like any cookie would do, you ran. You ran away from the friend that now was tearing apart your home.

Power gusts of wind barrled at your form, making you tumble to your feet. The dragon you once thought had held some sliver of kindness now stood in front of you, towering over you with wing wide and teeth bearing. This was your end. Right?

This was worse.

Pinned to his side with the strength of his wing, forced to lay beside the red scaled dragon in what looked like there den. It smelled like old blood, magma and a hint of sugar, it made you sick to your stomach to look around at the lifeless cookies that had tried to save you from this nightmare. But they promised himself he would never let you go, even if he has to go through the witches themselves.

They all have a fondness for gardening- whether that be planting flowers, growing herbs, etc., they all love it the same!

They all deserve a vacation from their jobs because they have absolutely earned it and the right to be happy.

Telenovela nights are their favorite times to be together- they all gather around a tv and binge the newest telenovela (They bring lots of ice cream in case they ever cry)!

Pure Vanilla:

All of his subjects, Black Raisin and her villagers plus Strawberry Crepe included, see him as their dad.

He has done hundreds of weddings for desserts across Earthbread, and enjoys a good celebration or two.

He still has nightmares and will never forgive himself for letting White Lily become Dark Enchantress.

Hollyberry:

Unlike the rest of the Ancients, Hollyberry was BORN chubby and chonky- meaning that she was huggable from the very start!

Whenever someone like Pitaya Dragon crashes her parties post Episode 12, she just asks them to not cause any trouble or steal any cake.

She drowns her sorrows in Berry Juice, which is self explanatory.

Dark Cacao:

He is a fan of macarons, which were once originally hard to come by in his kingdom, but now are abundant in the thousands.

He’s a legend in the horseback riding community, with him and his stallion Jakada (Which was a cheer up gift from The Creme Republic) being a natural riding pair.

He still has nightmares of the time when his family fell apart (His son Dark Choco’s very messed up history when he got the Strawberry Jam Sword; and his wife ChocoPearl temporarily leaving him to help other cookies) and often wakes up screaming, crying, or both.

Golden Cheese:

She’s a genuine philanthropist who wishes to see others happy, and would rather give up everything she ever known than see her kingdom suffer again.

While in the sarcophagus, she didn’t eat ANYTHING for years. Hence why I headcanon her to be very skinny- as in like her bones are showing. This was before she was treated to her daughter Mimi (OC by @thetropicalfairy) and her massive feasts in order to get her strength back up.

When she saw her kingdom destroyed, she recounted not just the names of her most precious treasures, but the names of EVERY casualty.

White Lily:

After the events of Beast Yeast episode 2, she got her own fairy wings- although they’re a little small for the time being, she still takes extra care of them.

She saw Elder Faerie as a father figure to her, and when she told him that she’d do anything to atone for her actions; Elder Faerie simply responded, “White Lily; you’re more of a Faerie Cookie than anyone I’ve ever met.”

Whenever she sees articles of the damage her other half Dark Enchantress caused during the Dark Flour War, she starts bawling remorsefully.

Betrayal

• You and your fellow cookies traveled to Longan Palace with the dragons. As of now, you were in the room with the ginormous golden eye.

• Mala Sauce and Purple Yam are beating up the smaller eyes, laughing and yelling while doing so.

• "Be careful! I wouldn't want you turned into stone!"

• Mala Sauce and Purple Yam ignored the concerned cookie and kept smashing the eyes.

• "Well while they're doing that, how do you think we'll summon Longan Dragon?" Strawberry cookie questioned, sinking deeper into her hoodie.

• No one answered for a moment, thinking of ways to make the great dragon appear.

• "They only appear when it is needed, so I would assume we would need great destruction or...An offering." Lotus Dragon informed, eyes narrowing at 'offering'.

• "I don't think wrecking the palace is a good option. It's disrespectful and other options are available."

• The group once again fell silent. The storm outside disturbing their thoughts.

• "How about this, we give an offering, then right before Longan takes it away we take it back." Gingerbrave suggested, smiling wider than a kid getting candy.

• "Foolish, but I won't stop you."

• Y/n cookie stood before the giant eye, taking deep breaths to calm their growing anxiety. It's fine, they'll rescue you.

• "Dear great Longan Dragon, I offer my entire being to request your presence." The words barely came out, they wanted to curl up and forget this nightmare of a dragon.

• Just as asked, Longan Dragon appeared, right before everyone's eyes. "Hello my kin. It seems as though you have become weakened by these cookies. Becoming so desperate enough to give offerings just to summon me."

• "Who said we are with them?!" Pitaya Dragon hisses, readying their weapon.

• Y/n cookie stare at their friends with frightened eyes, shaking their head in displeasure.

• "We came here to stop you before you turn all the cookies into stone!"

• "Foolish. If you came here to fight, you are no match. I have already done the preparations."

• Then the three dragons and your fellow cookies charged, almost knocking you over.

• In that moment a great flash burned, stopping all movements.

• The world was empty. All the buildings still stand but no cookies stand with them.

• In the Longan Palace, Longan Dragon is sitting on their throne, cradling something in their lap.

• Y/n cookie.

• Longan gingerly caresses their hair, as thought they would break if one were to touch it.

• The cookie wakes up, feeling movement on their head. As they take in their surroundings, a voice interrupts.

• "You have slept for far too long, I can already feel my fellow dragons' rage from here."

• "Huh? Slept...? No, no, No!"
