Pitaya decided to make a visit to Hollyberry (or pick a fight) in her kingdom, where you, Y/n, was keep under protection of Hollyberry and Wildberry Cookie.

As lucky you are Pitaya saw you, as they got a look very close, they lost his interest at first...as everybody knows Pitaya is a strong dragon that likes a good fight, they doesn't likes weak cookies that they can turn them into pieces easily

They just decided to be playful or use you to make Hollyberry fight them

Pitaya cookie as I said earlier, hates weak cookies. But for some reason they start taking like and interest of you.

They sees some potential in you despite you are not from the world. They will bring you with them to raise you as their own cub and also will continue uses you as a threat to fish Hollyberry cookie.

They are like Wildberry, train you only for your survive in that world... and also they wants to see how far you can go... They will force you to fight monsters to upgrade your fights skills, but they will be there if is necessary to tear some monsters necks

They doesn't think to keep you locked down since they are a carefree dragon, but threat as their treasures sometimes

Try to ran away from them? You can try they will just count to 30 just to see how far you can go

I apologize for the intrusion, but may I ask for dragons during mating season? It's like cats in March… just because it's March. Dragons that become very lovey-dovey, clingy, more reliant on instincts, much more emotional, jealous…. and all that kind of stuff! (Bonus points if Pitaya becomes a bit of a softie(???))

You aren't allowed to leave for whatever reason, ever. You are to stay in their home, where they can see you at all times.

Longan Dragon would usually say how they're above such base things as this, but in the end, their instincts usually win.

This is the only time you really ever see them so territorial of you and so emotional about it. You aren't even allowed to mention the other Dragons with them growling.

They're so, so clingy. They have to be near you or touching you. Don't refuse them this.

Do not mention this to then once the season is over. They will avoid the topic at all costs.

If you thought Ananas Dragon Cookie was bad before, they're worse now. They're constantly proclaiming how you're the best mate they could ever have, and no one else ever deserves you.

They have to be holding you or something. They literally go stir-crazy if they don't.

Nuzzles you a lot. Like, a lot. Way too much. Their cheek as to be numb or something.

A little embarrassed about the whole ordeal, but ultimately doesn't mind how they act.

A test of "how many love songs can you handle before you turn into the definition of red".

Lotus Dragon Cookie oddly enjoys praise during this time? Mostly just about being a good mate, but still.

If they pull you onto a lily pad and just hold you there to cuddle, let them. They'll whine and pout if you don't.

The only one to really embrace the whole season of it. They just see it as a time to be even more affectionate.

Pitaya Dragon Cookie is right behind Longan Dragon Cookie in terms of possessiveness during this time. They'll allow you to go out, but you absolutely have to have them with you.

Very bitey. They've gotta prove to others that you're their mate!!

Idk if my ask got ate up by tumblr or not - but my ask was how would the cookies (any cookies welcome but I’m interested to see the dragons, Hollyberry, Cpt. Caviar and Oyster) react to Y/N ‘s prowess in the martial arts tournament. Knowing Y/N’s normally a sweetheart I’d imagine some would be surprised to find out how strong they are

Hollyberry would be pretty proud and impressed with your strength! Seeing you display such power just tells her that sometimes a great amount of strength can come from the gentlest of hearts! Don’t expect her to hold back on her hugs when the tournament is all over!

Captain Caviar was shocked to see you participating at the tournament too, getting worried that you were going to get yourself hurt badly! But once he got a look at just how tough the sweetest cookie he’s ever known can be, he’s even more astonished, you fought like a champion. It’s kinda getting him hyped up if he’s paired against you later on. If there was any cookie he’d like to have the honor of taking on, it was you.

It certainly made Oyster’s day seeing a cookie she thought couldn’t hurt a jelly frog absolutely solo those pompous paladins, it was a sight indeed. Such power…she wonders if there was any way she could keep you around in the Republic as a bodyguard of hers. No one would suspect a wonderful cookie like you to completely deck cookies wanting a problem with her. May she..caress your arm for a second?

Pitaya Dragon Cookie thought they were seeing things when you were brawling with cookies larger then you and winning! But no, you weren’t as fragile as they thought you were! They’re getting excited as their eyes began to glow, they really wanted to see what you’re made of!

Well this wasn’t what Lotus was expecting, such a cute cookie putting up a great fight against their opponents. They were expecting to be bored, but came out of seeing your fight interested in you. They’ll have Hydrangea Cookie tail You once you leave, Lotus wants to hear what kind of wish you want…

Not bad, not bad at all seeing you fare against your bigger opponents, but you were still just a cookie to them. Ananas Dragon Cookie didn’t completely write you off however, you weren’t exactly as feeble as these other cookies. They’ll give you the time of day, but expect to belong to them when you inevitably fall to the dragon of dragons~

Well well, the softie actually can put up a fight after all. You can be strong all you like, but you’ll inevitably fall for Lychee Dragon Cookie, right? It makes them curious for what they’ll do to you once your soul in their hands, will they have you be amongst the slaves they have already or will you be special to them? Lychee could always use a strong cookie like you to totally keep them safe! Your soul will be theirs!

You were strong for a cookie, but Longan Dragon Cookie was leagues ahead of you in power. You weren’t as weak as the other cookies Longan has seen, despite that gentle, kindhearted nature of yours being a good mask for it. You were still weak compared to them, and the weak are better off as crumbs…so, Longan will take you into your arms. They will make you strong, they will give you purpose…

• Despite Pitaya’s very brash personality, they are almost a completely different cookie with you.

• On the outside, they love picking fights(despite usually losing). But on the inside, it’s a whole different story.

• Loves to be held. They will purr loudly when held. Bonus points if you stroke their head gently while holding them.

• Likes resting their head on your lap, especially after fighting with Hollyberry again. They’ll mumble something in frustration before curling up in your lap like a cat.

• Cuddles are a must! Though if they’re the big spoon, good luck escaping from their grip. They have an iron grip on you. The only way for you to escape is to wait for them to get up.

• Or you can bribe them with kisses. That also works wonders.

• Speaking of kisses, they love them. They won’t admit it, but they love it when you pepper their face with kisses.

• Hollyberry once caught them being all soft and mushy with you, and she has never let them live it down.

• Seeing the Red Dragon clinging to you like a teddy bear was almost like a punch in the face. She almost thought she wasn’t seeing things correctly.

• Though her shock was quickly overridden by amusement. Her amusement was further amplified as Pitaya sprang up, face burning in embarrassment and humiliation, and hissed at her.

• You were almost sure a fight would have broken out between the two, as you watched Pitaya Dragon pull out their sword. The dragon only reluctantly stood down when you patted their shoulder.

• Hollyberry later asked you about them in private. She was surprised you were able to become so close to the dragon. She even invited the two of you out to drink some berry juice!

• Of course, Pitaya flat out declined her invitation, too embarrassed to face her again.

• They like to have you close to them at all times. Whether it be to protect you from danger, or to just have you close to admire you.

• In addition to this, they will step in front of you when faced with anyone who dares to challenge the dragon, or even worse, someone who dares to take their treasures from them.

• Out of all the treasures they possess, you are the only one they would risk their life and limb for.

• Is very possessive. Holds you close to them when in the presence of the other dragons. Glares at them when they stare for too long.

• It’s not like the dragons want to steal you away. They’re mostly looking at Pitaya for their odd behavior.

• When they get injured by some brave warrior, they will hesitantly limp to you and have you patch them up.

• They have to sit through your gentle lecture while you patch up their bloody wounds. Of course, they’re rewarded with kisses afterwards.

• Purrs like a cat, but their tail wags like a dog. Get ready to see a lot of that when giving them physical affection.

• All in all, they love you very very much. They love when you kiss and hug and cuddle them, but they would never let anyone else see that side of them except for you.

• You are their most precious treasure, and they will continue to treat you as such.

Hugging Headcanons. || Ft: The Red Dragon Crew.

A/n: This has been in my drafts since uhh... July? Whoops. I scrolled down and saw that it was like. 95% complete and decided that I should finish it. Anyways, enjoy!

Hollyberry Cookie

She's the sort to hug without warning, as tightly as possible, and for as long as possible. No, you cannot escape until she sets you free. No, she is not fully conscious of her own strength. Wildberry Cookie has probably had to intervene to set you free at least once or twice before.

Despite her high status as both a queen and an Ancient, she does not stress formality hardly at all. Regardless of who you are, she will choose a hug over a handshake or formal greeting any day.

If you let her, she will pick you up. It does not matter if you are bigger than her. She will try, and unless you're for some reason slippery, she will succeed.

Yk that one scene with Dark Cacao where she kind of had him in a headlock? She probably does the same to others on occasion, just when she's feeling goofy, or if they're standoffish like DC is.

Pitaya Dragon Cookie

"Issss thisss some kind of trick, cookie?" - Bestie doesn't really recognize a gesture like that. They weren't exactly known to be the most peaceful before banding with Hollyberry Cookie, and thus didn't experience regular social things like a hug. How sad.

They would probably try to fight you if you hugged without warning. Trapping their arms like that? Bad idea. The great Greenish-Red Dragon can win any battle, regardless of disadvantages!

Oh, turns out Pitaya likes hugs quite a bit, once they get used to it. Have fun in the dirt, because they lean on you a little too much, unaware (or uncaring) that you can't quite support all their weight. Oh well, they don't care if they get dirty. If you really like laying in the dirt for some reason, try petting their hair while you're at it. Be warned, you will be staying there for quite a while.

Tail wags. You can hear the thumping of their spiky tail hitting any nearby objects while they hold you close. They really hold onto you too. Not quite as tightly as Hollyberry, but you won't be going anywhere.

Royal Margarine Cookie

Haaave fun boosting his ego. Because that's exactly what hugging him will do. The fangirls envy you, they didn't get a chance to hug him! No fair!

Buttercream might also rest her head on your shoulder sometimes, since she's decided that she likes you. Occasionally she accidentally knocks you over since she doesn't know her own strength. (And tbh a dragon is heavy.)

There was one time after fighting the red dragon that he just sorta. Aggressively hugged you (in private of course.) He hadn't seen you since before Dragon City was set aflame, and he was worried for your well being. Please hug him tightly back. He might cry.

I dunno, I feel like he pets your hair too. His arms probably rest across your shoulders and he just can't help but want to pet you for some reason.

Tarte Tatin Cookie

No, she will not set the cannon down. You get side-hugged, fool. Congratulations.

She's used to doing that sort of picturesque side-hug thing since she doesn't like to not have her cannon in her hands at any point in time, and since it's the most convenient when someone wants to take a photo with her.

It takes a very special person and a very special occasion to get her to put it down for once (like when the magma dragon was slain). It is at that point that she will give you a proper hug.

Rests her chin on your head, arms are folded across your shoulders. You can tell how tired she is after hunting dragons all day just from her tired sigh and the way she sort of tiredly leans against you.

Snapdragon Cookie

You do not hug the baby. The baby hugs you. Or at least they try.

They will fly full speed at you and then you have to catch them, or be tackle-hugged to the floor. If you don't stop them in time, they will happily tumble to the floor with you, squealing all the while.

Their arms are a little too short to wrap all the way around your torso, but they can hug your neck just fine.

Honestly, their aggressive hugging behavior gets directed at anyone. Pitaya Dragon Cookie finds it hilarious when they tackle cookies to the ground for the sake of a hug. Stop encouraging them.

Where Reader just doesn't care that there dying at all and is just saying there last words saying "Take care of yourself, Smile for me, Promise me you'll stop doing (Insert dragon's flaw), I love you and all the while there partners are panicking trying to save them

Pitaya Dragon

He doesn’t accept your words. Why are you so calm about this? Why are you accepting death so easily?? He doesn’t know what else to do; he has so much going through his head. One thing for sure is that you're dying and he is trying to figure out how to prevent that. He’s holding on to you trying to make sure your eyes stay open and here you are saying a bunch of nonsense. He slowed down a bit when you told him you loved him, he stared at you and saw your eyes slowly close. He starts shaking you begging for you to keep your eyes open and to please stay alive. It was too late for him, you were already gone.

Ananas Dragon

Why was this happening? Why couldn’t he save you? “No no no please don’t do this to me!” He runs his hand through your hair and then that’s when he hears your weak voice telling him that he should move on when you’re gone that you loved him dearly. “no please don’t say that you’re gonna be ok please don’t!” you only smiled at him and placed your hand on his cheek. He could feel the tears streaming down his face as he looked at your face.You looked so peaceful but this wasn’t right. You finally go limp and sobs onto your now lifeless body.

Longan Dragon

He knew you would go eventually; he just didn’t think it would be so soon. This is too soon even for him. He’d hope you stay just as long as he did but he knew better than that. He just can’t face that it’s happening at this very moment. He is not that capable of showing emotions but you can tell he’s shaking as he clings to your body. He could have prevented this from happening. Why couldn’t he be there for you? You tried to soothe him and he listened to your final words until your last breath. He laid you down gently and he felt something inside him snap as he grips your body tighter.

Dating pitaya is one thing, him being jealous is another

He is quite confident in himself and that you wouldn’t be able to find someone as good of a partner as the great legendary red dragon (don’t be fooled he is slightly insecure under that tough shell of pride)

Even if he is prideful, this dragon can get hella jealous if anyone lays so much as a finger on you

Your already isolated enough, so anyone trying to woo you on his watch is being absolutely obliterated and then you are kept ‘hostage’ by pitaya (he just clings to you like a god damn baby while whining or growling)

Yes your aloud to roam (mostly) freely, he’s not that possessive of a lover and (he fights with his instincts over this) he know it’s wrong to keep you secluded plus what happened when you do that to a person (and tbh he’s more worried about the result than the actual action cuz this mf does not care about normal)

Growls A-LOT while barrier there teeth if they see someone touching you in any wrong way, and most likely rips there arms off. Ha! Try and touch MY mate now bitch. You can’t. YOU DONT GOT ANY ARMS NO MORE!

Pitaya Dragon Cookie x MH! Reader

(Part 1) (Part 2)

Continuation of Pitaya Dragon Cookie x MH! Reader. I forgot to mention, the reader is female.

- (C/n) = Cookie Name

You and Pitaya Dragon cookie became close friends!

You didn't mind the dragon coming to you for a battle, to you it will hone your skills since the dragon always comes up with new battle tactics in order to defeat you.

Sometimes you win, sometimes they win and sometimes it ends up in a draw.

"You've become sssstronger but don't think I won't too, my little hunter~" Pitaya Dragon purred with a smirk on their lips.

'My little hunter' is a nickname that they have given to you.

You've set up your camp close to Pitaya Dragon's lair, so it would be easier for you to study the dragon whenever you want.

Pitaya Dragon would always come by to grab the food that you had cooked and would always hoard the entire table for themselves. Much to your dislikes.

You didn't let the dragon eat all the food and both of you would wrestle each others for a piece of jelly meat.

"It'ssss mine! Get one yourssself!" hissed the dragon as you push their face away. "Hah! As if! I hunt the boars and the meats are mine!" you barked, shoving the jelly meat into your mouth.

There are times they would crash into your tent and steal your bed, saying that it's theirs now.

You would end up sleeping in a sleeping bag or a hammock, but not everything is safe from the dragon's clutches.

Whatever you own, it is theirs too.

It pisses you off at first but you get used to it eventually.

Also both of you would take turns hunting, each time Pitaya Dragon hunts they would bring back a mouthful of animals or fish. But sometimes, you need to get them in control when it comes to hunting.....

"Look what I've brought back!" they said proudly with a mouthful of sheep.

"Pitaya Dragon Cookie! Put the sheep back where you found them!" you shrieked at the sight of a five sheep and a shepherd dog in their mouth, obviously they took them from the nearby field. "Why?! They're foood! Don't tell me what to do! I am the great red dragon! I eat whatever I ssseee asss food!" Pitaya Dragon argues back.

Pitaya Dragon would do all kinds of shenanigans to pull on your strings and surprisingly you manage to keep them in check.

Then one day....

"Pitaya Dragon Cookie! Come out here now!" a voice boomed, two cookies comes out from the bushes. A pink cookie wields a heart shaped shield while the other has a silver gauntlet.

Pitaya Dragon then smirked widely. Dropping all the sheep on the ground, you caught the five sheep and the dog in your arms. "Oof—Pitaya! Careful!" you yelled at the dragon only for the dragon to walk over you and ignoring your call.

"Your highness, look! Not only did they steal the sheep but also a maiden!" shouted the cookie with the silver gauntlet.

"Hollyberry cookie~ Are you here for a fight?" grins Pitaya Dragon, Hollyberry Cookie? The Queen of the Hollyberry kingdom? Pitaya Dragon told you about her and they have been battling each other for ages.

"Give back the sheep you have stolen, Pitaya Dragon cookie!" shouted Hollyberry, "Not only that, but you also kidnapped a maiden!" she glares. "Well, actually your highness! I'm—hey!" before you are able to finish, Pitaya Dragon sets their tail down blocking you from sight.

"If you want the sssheep back, you have to fight me!" said Pitaya Dragon cookie, "I've been itching to fight you again, Hollyberry Cookie!" Pitaya Dragon let out a roar, causing you to back away slightly. The sheep and the dog jump out from your arms and flee into the bushes in fear.

You watch in awe as the two change blows, Hollyberry cookie uses her shield to block the fiery flames of Pitaya Dragon before bashing her shield against their snout. You were too focused watching the fight and you felt someone tapping your shoulder, it was the cookie with silver gauntlet.

"Miss, please. Come with me" he said, "Huh?" before you could say anything. The cookie lifts you up in bridle style and sprint, "H-hey! Who are you?!" you said. "I'm Wildberry Cookie, don't worry. You are safe from the lizard's clutches" he said with a smile on his face.

"Save me....?" you blink as you shake your head, "A-ah, I know you're being such a gentleman but I am not in danger" you said, the cookie raises an eyebrow at your statement. "Pardon? What do you mean?" he was confused.

"Well....." you explain to him that you're a hunter that's doing research on Pitaya Dragon. Wildberry eyebrows twitch, "That lizard is vile, you cannot trust them" he warned. "Huh? Pitaya Dragon isn't vile, they can be prideful and mean sometimes..." you mumbled before turning to Wildberry Cookie. "—but they're actually really nice when you get to know them more!" you smiled.

Wildberry Cookie couldn't help but look at you in a weird way, nevertheless he let out a sigh. "I find your words to be genuine" he said.

BOOM!

Both of your attention turn back to the battle, it seems Hollyberry cookie is winning as she bashes her shield against Pitaya Dragon who is now in their cookie form. "Take that!" she yelled, Pitaya Dragon blocks the shield with their sword but the sword gets deflected from their hands and lands on the ground.

"Harghh!!!" Pitaya Dragon let out a growl. "Are you done now, Pitaya Dragon?" questioned Hollyberry Cookie as Pitaya Dragon bursts out laughing, "Hahahahahaha! Do not think I don't have tricks under my wings, Hollyberry Cookie!" they said as they flap their wings, sending burning sparks in the air.

"Oh shit..." you said.

"What are they doing?!" Wildberry glares at the dragon cookie "Queen Mother, be careful!". You quickly get on your feet, "Pitaya Dragon, don't!" you screamed at the dragon. "Miss!" Wildberry yelled out. Pitaya Dragon's wings erupt in a greenish red flame.

"Take a load of thisss!" they shouted, eyes glowing dangerously and before they could unleash their newest attack.

A bright light flashes before their eyes, blinding them. "Gargh! My eyesssss!!" Pitaya Dragon closes their eyes and falls on the ground. "Haargh!" Pitaya Dragon growls once they recover from the sudden flash of light blinding their eyes. "Did you jussst interrupt my battle!" Pitaya Dragon glares in your direction as they stand up to tower over you, "I'm not letting you set the entire forest on fucking fire!" you glare back at them. "Thissss isss my territory! I can do whatever I want with it!" Pitaya Dragon hisses, "Burn the forest, I won't cook for you for an entire month!" you said and Pitaya Dragon was taken back, their tail swishes in annoyance as they look away. "Grrr....fine!" they said.

Hollyberry and Wildberry stand at the side, both were shocked to see a cookie threaten a dragon. "Ahem..." Wildberry lets out a cough to catch both of your attention. "Pitaya Dragon Cookie, may we know who this is?" Hollyberry asked the dragon. "Well, Hollyberians! Thisss isss (C/n) Cookie!" Pitaya Dragon introduces you to Hollyberry and Wildberry. "and thessee Hollyberianss namess are Hollyberry Cookie, a friend rival of mines and her grumpy bodyguard, Wildberry Cookie!" they said as Wildberry sends a glare at the dragon.

You blink and smile sheepishly, "H-Hi!" you said. "Nice to meet you, your highness! a-and Wildberry Cookie!" you said as you bow, Hollyberry bursts out laughing. "Ahahaha! Just call me Hollyberry Cookie! A friend of Pitaya Dragon is also a friend of mine!" she said with a large smile on her face. "Nice to meet you, (C/n) Cookie!" she said as Wildberry gives you a gentle smile, he walks up to you and takes your hand in his and kisses it, like a gentleman.

"It's a pleasure meeting you, (C/n) Cookie" he said. You let out a giggle and blushes slightly, "Nice to meet you too, Wildberry Cookie!" you said. Pitaya Dragon stares at the two of you interact and for some reason, the dragon doesn't like this at all.

They couldn't help but let out a low growl escapes from their lips.

How would the Pitaya Dragon Cookie, Lotus Dragon Cookie and Ananas Dragon Cookie react to the caretaker/player (Who's technically a higher deity compared to them) protecting cookies in his/her/their kingdom? Would the dragons want to challenge? Trick? Or try to capture him/her/them?

Also note this is CRK centered but Ananas and Lotus quite literally. Don’t exist in CRK so this could be considered a mix of SACRK and SACROB

Ever since the Cookie Kingdom had first come into existence, the dragons knew some high being was behind it. At first, they thought perhaps another dragon, making their lair with the help of weak cookies.

This thought would quickly be proven wrong however, when a certain group of cookies came to the Hollyberry Kingdom.

Pitaya was shocked to find out that there wasn’t a dragon among the cookies who claimed to be from the new kingdom. Rather, they were watched over by… the Caretaker??

Favored by the Caretaker or not, Pitaya was still restless and needed a fight, and after getting scolded by Hollyberry, left the Hollyberry Palace. To be honest, that fight was one of the best ones they’ve had in a long time! And technically Hollyberry didn’t even join in, she just protected the group of cookies! Perhaps Pitaya will have to pay a visit to this kingdom and ask to spar…

Ananas doesn’t understand why you care for such weaklings. You’re such a higher being, and yet you grow concerned whenever a cookie is damaged?! Have you no pride?! If anything, they hold you in scorn for a while.

That is, until they hear of how visitors to the kingdom always talk about how beautiful it is, and how carefully the land is tended to. Out of their own curiosity, they decide to take a short visit- and the thing that surprised them most, is that the rumors were true. The kingdom really was beautiful- a little messy maybe, but you could tell there was love put into it.

They leave with a little more respect for you.

Lotus is actually pretty okay with it. Cookies can be quite intriguing, so it’s natural you’d want to keep some around!… wait what? You actually care for them?

They’re more used to having cookies as servants and entertainment, so they can’t really grasp what you mean by caring for them. But at least they’re okay with it?

How would the dragons and/or the beasts react to a S/O who fell down the stairs, gets a really bruised leg, and acts like nothing happened? (I fell down my stairs a few days ago lol-)

And I said as well "if you don't wanna do them all, my preferences are pitaya, ananas, shadow milk, and burning spice!"

It takes a hot minute for it to register in their mind that you fell.. down the stairs. The stairs bruised you.

Next thing you know, you no longer have stairs. They have been burnt. Your dragon shall be taking you up and downstairs now.

They do tease you about it, but there's also some worry. You're.. really fragile. Super fragile. .. they don't like that.

Once again, you do not have a staircase. Good job!

At this point, he probably just carries you around everywhere himself. He's not letting you get bruised anymore than you already are.

There is no fighting him on this. Just accept your fate.

They are trying so hard to understand how this happens. How do you bruise so easily. What.

They don't get rid of the stairs, but some glares are thrown it's way.

You get lectured a bit on needing to be more careful. Nothing new.

Good luck EVER walking again. He doesn't even let you think of putting your feet on the ground.

Stairs do not exist. Do not even think about it.

Wraps you up in strings in case you ever truly have to go down the ground. It's like a child bring wrapped in bubble wrap.

What if y/n loved the everlasting life out of snapdragon cookie infront of the other dragons. Would they be jealous or find it cute?

Snapdragon couldn’t let go of ya! It babbles happily as you played around with them, giving them your full attention and care!

The other dragons however…

Lychee will have the biggest reaction of the rest, they have no qualms being grumpy that you’re adoring the hell out of Snapdragon and not them. That should be them you’re adoring so much rather then this Y/N Cookie-hogger

Longan doesn’t really care about this, they have no time to be upset over trivial things like you caring for a hatchling…that doesn’t mean you should neglect your dragon spouse though. (in their eyes)

Pitaya would likely also get a bit irritated that you’re not spending time around them, instead you’re constantly around Snapdragon. Expect Pitaya to swoop you up immediately after you set Snapdragon down.

Ananas is currently awaiting the moment you turn in Snapdragon for the day, because you’re devoting ALL your time for the rest of the day to them

You already care for Pond Dino, so Lotus doesn’t mind Snapdragon much being around you constantly, please allow Lotus to also be around you to be play their mandolin for the young dragon. It’s their way of getting some time with you while the other dragons can be mopey to the side, hehe.

The summer evening was cool and quiet. The full moon was already peeking out from behind the mountains, glimmering from up above. The rustling leaves of the trees provided some cover for you and your squad of hunters as you waved for them to follow you. You all kept as quiet as you could, the only sound being the fragile leaves crunching under your worn out boots whenever you moved.

You were all on a mission, to find any kind of edible berries or meat to bring back to your camp located just on the clearing at the edge of the forest. The food supply of your squad’s base back home was running low, so you all headed into the woods to replenish and collect whatever was possible. As of now, your squad had quite the collection of edible plants to take back. The artificial pouch wrapped tightly around your waist was filled to the brim with an assortment of berries and veggies to return home later.

“This will be enough to last us for weeks,” you call to your group, turning to them as they all nod at you. You stand up, dusting your legs as you shuffle your boots in the opposite direction. “It’s getting darker. We need to head back as soon as possible before we run into a pack of cake hounds or something worse.”

“Yes, captain!” They all say in unison, making you chuckle under your breath. You don’t really like the name ‘captain’, but your crew refuses to call you anything else. You were the one who did most of the work back at camp, so what else could they call you? They looked up to you a lot! Even though you wanted to, you decided not to argue with your group about the name again, simply opting to quietly start walking back to camp with them following closely behind you.

As you all walk in silence once more, you begin to ponder about your life back at the camp. It’s been so long since you started living in a small camp by the forest, you don’t even remember ever leading a comfortable, peaceful life. All you remember is needing to run, run as far as possible, because it was no longer safe for you to stay in your hometown. Ever since then, you’ve lived in a camp far away with a number of survivors and lived off wild plants and animals to survive. It was a rough life, but you all managed, and you've all grown to see each other as more of a family than just other survivors.

Your lips subconsciously curl upwards at the thought. You’re about to turn around and say something lighthearted to your group, but something stops you. You pause for a brief moment, before sticking your arm out for the cookies behind you to stop as well. Something isn’t right. It’s quiet… too quiet. Birds and crickets were chirping peacefully just a few minutes before you began heading back, but now it was just eerily quiet.

“…We’re being stalked. We need to hurry back right now—”

A sudden loud roar and the earth rumbling below your feet cuts you off and leads you to instinctively pull your makeshift knife out from your pocket. The rest of the cookies with you pull out their own weapons as well, an uneasy tension immediately building within you all.

A roar… all too familiar. Well, to you, at least.

“We need to get out of the area, now!”

Your voice was full of urgency as you urged your squad of hunters to run away as fast as they could before danger could find you, but alas, sometimes it’s nearly impossible to avoid these confrontations.

The trees around you are suddenly ripped out of the earth one by one, its roots nearly hitting one of your group members in the face. You yell for them to get back, having a certain feeling of who was threatening you and your group.

“Foolish cookiesssss…”

And you were right.

The Legendary Red Dragon’s familiar red scales come into view, their fiery breath causing surrounding temperatures to rise suddenly. They rip out the tree providing the last of any cover you had previously, exposing you and your group to the large beast. When it spots you, it grins widely, its large and intimidating fangs peeking out.

“Foolish little cookiessss… you dare trespassss on my land…?” Their loud voice booms across the trees, your ears ringing slightly as they laugh and taunt you. “You will come to regret thissss…”

This isn’t good. You would usually be able to deal with threats like these by yourself, but now you’re more worried for the safety of the others. You don’t care about what happens to you, as long as they can get back safely then you’ll feel alright.

Gritting your teeth, you turn towards your comrades.

“GO!”

The Red Dragon’s grin widens, but you don’t notice as you’re too focused on getting your crew away. Again, you yell at them, “GO!”

They all look at you, a mix of shocked and fearful faces staring back at you. They don’t want to leave without you, they can’t! What will they do without you?!

“Just go! I’ll be okay! I promise! You don’t wanna die, right?! Then go!!”

After a few more moments of you yelling and them trying to argue, your group finally (although very hesitantly) leave you alone with the dragon.

Once they’re completely out of sight, you finally turn your attention back to the large dragon in front of you. Their head tilts as they growl lowly. Their sharp fangs make you falter slightly, but you don’t back down.

“Brave little cookie…”

“Drop the act, Lizard, they’re gone. What do you want?”

They purr, their eyes dilating, “I wanted to ssssee you.”

You huff, “So that’s why you nearly scared my group to death?” as you cross your arms across your chest. Undeterred by your annoyance, Pitaya Dragon Cookie chuckles sinisterly.

“Those cookiessss were weak anywayssss… you are much sssstronger than them…”

You sigh. “So you did all that just so you could see me again?”

“Correct.”

This dragon…

“Well, you’ve seen me now,” Normally, you wouldn’t be so annoyed with the dragon in front of you, but you weren’t happy about how they treated the other hunters. “Now isn’t the best time, Pitaya. I need to head back.”

“No.”

You were starting to get a little irritated now.

They noticed your exasperation, “Little cookie…” they drawled, head lowering to move slightly closer to you, “I haven’t sssseen you in sssso long… sssstay longer…”

You flinch instinctively as they suddenly transform into their much smaller cookie form. They flip their hair, approaching you smugly before gently taking your hand in theirs, in hopes of maybe buttering you up. Their cold armor makes you shiver when you feel it touch your warm skin.

You stare at them for a few seconds of silence, watching as they practically make puppy dog eyes at you, before you let out an exaggerated sigh of defeat.

“Alright… fine. But I've got to get back s— oh!”

Pitaya Dragon Cookie swiftly picks you up bridal style, chuckling to themself as you yelp in surprise. Their ego multiplies tenfold when they notice the undeniable blush on your face.

“Sssstay a while, my favorite little cookie…” They grin, loudly purring at the sight of you noticeably trying to hide the color painted on your face. Their grip on you tightens very slightly as their eyes practically sparkle at your beauty.

“I’ll make our time sssspent together worthwhile, my little hunter.”

.Pitaya dragon cookie is a rough and violent dragon; they crave destruction and love a good fight. They found good fun in crushing the weaker cookies even if their “fights” were boring and pathetic.

.Then you showed up, you were a particularly fragile cookie. You were so meek and had trouble speaking to others or starting anything social.

.Pitaya at first thought it was funny, they’d had never seen a cookie as weak as you before…until it started to get cute. Like how one would a puppy, at first.

.When Pitaya first approached you, you had nearly passed out from fear alone…then felt utter confusion when the great red dragon had started a conversation with you.

.Well, it was mostly the dragon talking, you were struggling to keep up but Pitaya didn’t seem to notice. You tried to tell them to slow down and they almost immediately shut up when they heard you speak.

.They were quiet…was this…an encouragement for you to lead?

.Gulp…. “Um, great dragon can you…perhaps slow down? It’s difficult for me um…to keep up…”

.Pitaya takes your request as seriously as they can and tries to speak as a speed good for you, though occasionally they slip back to their normal pace. They were…odd…

.Ever since that day Pitaya would visit you, follow you around and just observe. They’d even be caught cooing at times because they really thought your little shy self was that adorable.

.They’d tried to push you to be more outgoing and would get angry when you’d just clam up more, it took Hollyberry smacking them upside the head for them to really listen.

.They can’t force you to be more open, they have to work at your pace. The Queen Mother even gave her old sparring and drinking buddy some tips on what to do.

.With this information Pitaya came back with a vengeance, but in a good way!

.While it was clear they were struggling with it, they were working more at your pace and not trying to force you to be social. Because of this you started to bond with them more easily and eventually became good friends.

.In fact…they were pretty much your only friend; your shyness didn’t do you much favors in the friendship department.

.They seemed to take pride in being your only friend, seeming to relish it in fact. You guessed it made them feel special and you agreed with that.

.You were surprised with how good of a friend they were, in fact, they were a very protective friend.

.Pitaya will hiss and growl at anyone they deem a threat to you, keeping you close to their side when you’re out. They simply don’t trust anyone else with you.

.Honestly it was a bit flattering that Pitaya cared so much about you and you wanted to show your own appreciation.

.You’d learn about dragons in return and Pitaya themselves, you learn that similar to a dog or cat Pitaya has sweet spots that they really love being scratched.

.They reacted very positively to this and was all over you.

.They noticed their feelings towards you are growing but they don’t much mind until they can fully understand it. One of their favorite things is to just keep embraced in their warm body.

.Once you two are romantically together Pitaya adores the sugar out of you and makes it known, very physical but stops when it gets to be too much.

.They’re even more protective over you, territorial towards perceived threats of the mateship.

.Like literally looming over someone they don’t like, hair spiked out, tail lashing, wings fanned. The works.

.They’re more outward about helping you through your fears and heavily enjoys flying around with you in their arms or on their back in dragon form.

.Though I hope you accept that by agreeing to this you’re mates for life now. Good luck!

You first met him at dragon city square.

Everyone was talking about how there was a dragon near the city and everyone was a little panicked.

You on the other hand weren’t as scared as everyone else was since you studied dragons.

Your friend Royale Margarine Cookie was a Dragon Rider and actually had a Dragon partner and she honestly is really cute and your friend would allow you to study with her from time to time.

When you first met Pitaya it took you a couple of minutes to realize he was an actual dragon in disguise.

What gave it away was that his tail was loosely hidden behind his cape but you noticed it.

You asked him about it and after a while he finally admitted it and you were actually excited.

You told him you studied dragons and asked him if the stuff you studied about dragons were actually true or not.

He was surprised by the stuff you told him, the stuff you told him weren’t that far from the truth in fact they might as well be true.

He adored how much you admire dragons and he felt appreciated that someone would devote their time in learning about his kind so much just out of interest.

You were able to learn more through him.

However he does have his own personal features you were pretty sure that just belong to him and not any other dragon.

Like for example he really enjoys food and berry juice…a lot… of berry juice.

He also has an opinion on the fact that Buttercream isn’t an actual dragon.

You told him otherwise though that Buttercream is actually a different type of dragon and that she is a wyvern which is just a dragon with two legs and two wings.

He gave you an “ooooohhhh” face, he trusts your words since you already know a lot about dragons.

You guys ended up getting closer and you were really the only one who could handle his temper.

You knew how to calm him down and the method is pretty silly honestly.

Just give him juice! :D
