It's the spooky season and this piano looked as a perfect project 🎃

And you know I love me new pianos 🎹

This is a conversion of a Spoopy Piano by @kiwisim4.

Comes with all the original recolors (16 of them). The candles are a separate object repositoried to piano and function as a light (found under lighting-misc), they slot on the piano without cheats. Texture size is 1024 (lowered from 2048).

Polycount: Piano: 2066 Candles: 980

Repair animation will look weird because there's no separated upper lid (it's blocked with candles ;))

The Ninth Wave Sims' One Tile Keyboard Converted for Sims 3

As someone who builds smaller lots, I've always missed Ninth Wave Sims' one tile keyboard from Sims 2. Their original Sims 2 version is HERE. So I tried my first ever conversion because of their generous TOU and it turned out pretty nicely.

The only issue I've seen is that the sims' hand plays the keyboard off the side a bit because of the smaller size.

my dream "sekai meet" scenario is vbs enrolling in a vocaloid appreciation event and realizing they can't NOT do it with the actual hatsune miku herself. its risky yeah and it might raise a lot of questions they do not know if they can answer but after everything she's done to help them, it would just feel. wrong. to leave her out.

it also means akito has to painstakingly, begrudgingly, crawl his way onto the rooftop to ask rui of all people if he, by chance, could somehow make them a device or something that could project, theoretically, someone who lives in their phone or something maybe, not actually because hahah wouldn't that be crazy hatsune miku isn't real but if she was. if he could make something for that so they could perform together.

and rui just. whips the thing out of his backpack. already made. akito has a million question but rui's only one is if his miku is a cat, too.

the worst part about being a pianist is that you can't just...simply take your instrument with you

#friends I am BEREFT #I was incredibly lucky to have my own piano for the last three years of college #and I mean like. someone gave it to me for free #and I also had access to a social network in the area + a pickup truck + my father who is an experienced piano mover and problem solver™ #but anyway I could not bring it with me when I left #and even if I could just manifest it here there is nowhere to put it in this house #that's the thing like. you can find pianos pretty cheap on facebook marketplace these days #but moving one is a whole ordeal #and then you have to have somewhere to put a whole piece of furniture #our living room is tiny :( #thinking I could maybe fit a keyboard in my bedroom if I could find one #but it's not the same... #anyway my best hope atm is getting door access to the church I attend #but I have yet to converse with anyone in a position to help me with that #and it's only a short walk which is nice #but still not the same as home piano #ik ik this is a very ''first world problem'' #but for most of my life I have been in the habit of playing almost every day #it's stress relieving! it's creative! it was...kind of loadbearing in some ways... #it's a very Jane Austen predicament. where's a secret fiancee to buy and deliver a surprise piano when you need one

I can see Yinu’s peers being creeped out by Yinu. How calm she is all the time, and the fact that she is just so… empty when she isn’t playing music. She is smiling with them, but her soul isn’t there.

Don't get it twisted, that little girl does have a personality when she's not playing. She got a lil bit of an attitude and I respect it. Respect the lil girl's sass.

Now, I can certainly see her not having a tolerance for "childish" things because she was told she was "far too mature for that," but to say she'd be absolutely nothing when not performing is a stretch.

I can certainly see her refusing to play games with her peers and willingly isolating herself from them because she has better things to do, like studying or working out the songs she'll play in her next recital or writing her own, but she does have a personality.

And all of this brings up the point that: when exactly would she get any peers to interact with in the first place? Do you really think a kid like her would go to a normal school?

She's either private or home schooled. Maybe when she's older she'll start to be around kids her age (and thus will not be able to interact with them, given she's always been around adults) but for now I imagine she'd be homeschooled.
