After four years, I finally had my final appointment today - and was diagnosed with Autism, and ADHD-Combined. I can’t even say how much of a relief it was to officially get that confirmation.

Hopefully I should be starting ADHD meds soon, and if those do what I want them to… I’m hoping to return to post at least a few things on this blog, because I’ve learned so much more recently that I really want to share.

I actually think it’s illegal to have a scene where all sound fades out except the original score to amp up the tension and then NOT release that score for the public to blast in their ears

I wonder if Sailom doesn’t immediately say yes to going official with Kang until he apologizes to his friends and that’s why we see them going on a shopping trip and then to what looks like some bar in the episode teaser. Sailom probably makes him work for it a little bit.

Anon, I don't even know if that scene is happening in episode seven but . . .

if my theory sticks, Sailom has been in love with Kanghan since BEFORE he handed him that umbrella when they were wee lads.

So I think instead of outright telling Kanghan "no," he'll say, "yes . . . but" instead since he already loves Kang (according to my theory).

And the "but" will be to play nicely with his friends, especially Guy who has big beef with Kanghan now that he is starting on the soccer team.

Kanghan, as an enemy was unbuttoning Sailom's clothes, so I believe this pendejo (affectionately) is highly motivated to follow the simple instructions of being nice to Sailom's friends equaling the fast pass to being Sailom's official and public boyfriend.

And Kanghan will forcibly drag his friends into his endeavor because once a Blue Boy commits, there's no length he won't go to so he can get his guy.

Importantly, Kanghan has a praise kink stemming from his daddy issues

which Sailom does a great job of exacerbating.

So I firmly believe that when Sailom assigns this task to Kanghan, he will check those boxes off with an unhinged enthusiasm just so he can see Sailom smile while calling him "an asshole" in that special way he does that makes it sound like Sailom is saying "good boy" instead since he has to make up for the first kiss.

Because we all know Sailom isn't kind with his grading scale.

And Kanghan, with his praise kink, will not settle for a 67.

I got diagnosed with pain in the er today and actually got prescribed meds

-weird that im having all the symptoms of a ureter blockage with no physical blockage and no infection that could mimic it

-feels super validating bc they believe me and actually treated me and set up a follow-up with urology, which is a breath of fresh air after the kidney stone debacle of 2021

#idk if i've talked about that specific story (there are many awful stories from that experience) #but essentially i had like 8 visits within a few months #and i was very very firm in explaining nothing they gave me orally would work for acute pain #(i've had a drug resistance my whole life (there are notes in my medical file as early as age 4 that my pain is difficult to manage)) #and people were very like.... 'sure jan...' about it #and at one point (i think visit 6) the ER dr said (out of nowhere) 'i believe you're in pain' #at no point did i even consider people didn't believe me and it reminded me of the athletics dept person who 'dress coded' me #(at the school gym that doesn't have a dress code-my sister worked there too and she confirmed it was made up) #by opening with 'this isn't a comment about your body' #so like... oh people were saying shit about me trying to score drugs #now do i hate the urologists at the hospital bc they treated me like i had hysteria when i was admitted? yes #but i'm brining my dad this time bc drs tend to listen to me when he's there #personcole

tbh I'm pretty impressed with myself for picking up a character with no prior match experience and making it to floor 10 as them within about a week

like it took me about 4 months to get my ram up to this point last year, so clearly my intuition about matchups/general system mechanics/vibes has improved dramatically, and I've been attentive enough while watching other gio players do their thing that I picked up the fundamentals pretty quick

#I'd love it if I could get my gio up to the elo score my ram is at #rn ratingupdate says that ramberly has about an 8-2 matchup against kimbervanna #but it'd be pretty sick to be able to say that I can be genuinely competitive with two characters #even though it's kind of moot since they mostly have the same bad matchups #...although at any level I'm playing at overall character matchups are less important than my personal matchups #like for instance I'm way better at fighting testament as gio than as ram #even though the ratingupdate stats both have them at a bit over 50/50 against testament #and at the very least I'm starting to be able to separate my ram matchups between like #characters I can pin down in the corner and strike/throw to death #and characters it's never really worth getting that close b/c of the risk of being completely blown up off an execution error like PO/GO #and I think as I improve at both of my characters I'll be comparatively stronger against the former group as gio and the latter as ram
