I spent so many hours listening to the rainbow factory & pegasus device fic absolutely not worth it and rainbow dashs reformation arc made NO SENSE come on auroradawn but my inner child secretly loved the cringe thank you

EDIT - bc i wanna rant more i spent over EIGHT HOURS ON THIS the original fic is so lame, ill say pegasus device is BETTER but its not good and oddly drawn out.. the best part in there is when the fillies enter the theater room and so fourth until rainbow dash suddenly has a change of heart THAT IS NOT A REFORMATION ARC ITS RUSHED BS as much as i wouldve hated to spend more time listening to this trash fic read by a middle aged man stumbling over his words i would have loved a proper reformation for her & absentia.. the absentia death was sad and all but i feel like it could have been more meaningful smh i sound crazy

Time Machine/Pegasus Device double songcat

The assassin was created by an iterator who believed that all iteratiors should always be focused on ether solving the great problem or bettering themselves to help solve it. She created the assassin, a being designed to take down iterators from the inside out, to kill one of the iteratiors in her local group who was currently experimenting with Slugcats for no reason other than curiosity.

the assassin was created with a greatly decreased sense of empathy, but the tiny bit they had felt bad for one of the iterator’s slugpups and they adopted them to raise as their own.

after their creator died, they wandered the earth looking for iteratiors to kill, as that was the only thing they knew to do.

They arrived at moon around the same time as rivulet’s campaign, and was going to kill her before rivulet jumped in to intercept them.

rivulet tied them up and dragged their body to the void sea, but accidentally slipped and fell in herself. The refugee lived with moon for a while afterwards before leaving to ascend.

the assassin’s in-game abilities are:

dying moves the cycle timer one cycle forward instead of resetting to the beginning of the cycle. Anything you did in the cycle before you died is saved like a hibernation cycle. Dying while starving resets the cycle.

you can give creatures a “death glare”. This ability has a five minute cooldown and can only be used on creatures that can see. (Excluding slugpups and other players)

you can release a small burst of energy to double-jump. The effect looks like an orange cyan lizard jump and makes a similar sound.

they can maul and eat corpses and are strictly carnivorous.

the refugee can climb on walls and jump extremely high.
