Åh, elsker all things Mexican, men cocktailen Margarita er kanskje ikke så meksikansk, tross tequilaen, men amerikansk. Likevel, elsker Mexico. Og ingen Margarita uten tequila. Den er jo meksikansk. Jeg hadde igjen en liten skvett #patrontequila som jeg vet at min skjønne venn @monicakfigueroa har som sin favoritt. Jeg også. Og siden tirsdagen var så grå, måtte jeg bare. En klassisk, ren Margarita er verdens enkleste cocktail: 3-2-1. Tre deler tequila, to deler triple sec (appelsinlikøren Cointreau, her i huset) og én del friskpresset limesaft. Shakes med is og siles i glasset. For å få saltet til å feste seg til glass-randen, toucher jeg kanten med sukkerlake («simple syrup»). 159 Domain were guest had a tasting with Tequila

Patrón brand ambassador Alex followed by a 4 course menu.

Our guest were up early to attending our Patrón Hacienda Experience to a stunning location 45 mins outside of Melbourne. This house has to be the closest we found to the amazing Patròn hacienda in Jalisco. We had a welcoming party lead by a piece Mariachi Band and beautiful cacao ceremony by @sacredunveiling, they then dived into a taste of Mexico styled breakfast by @taquito.bar and free flowing Patrón Palomas before getting ready with @oscaroscarcamberwell and heading to the Patrón Paddock at the F1 @ausgp.

The night ended with an Patrón exclusive afterparty at the @qmelbourne Rooftop.

After getting freaky-deaky I knew Patrón Tequila were having Kick-Off party at El Granjero Cantina that Lawrence was promoting. El Granjero Cantina & Patrón were throwing a Patrón Holiday Party at The Original Farmers Market. It seemed like a natural transition to me from my Freak Brothers expedition. The place was friendly and I found a table with a people watching view. I ended up having two servers because of a shift change. Both were very accommodating. I had arrived a little after 3. From what read the party started at 4. My goal was to have a nice meal and sip a couple of shots tequilas. Near the end of my carnitas burrito (aji verde rice, salsa crudo, guacamole, pickled onions, romaine, cilantro, burrito sauce), chips and guacamole meal the manager informed me the party was going to be moved to Sunday. I was a bit disappointed but I was on the fade too. The manager was so very kind to bring a bottle of Patrón’s “Cask Collection Tequila” of “Sherry Cask Aged” Anejo Tequila. The tequila had the smooth warm quality of sherry that line a velvet hug in you mouth. Everyone was so kind and generous with their time. The food was mild for my taste in Mexican food but very flavorful. The salsa was mildly sweet and smokey while the guacamole was fresh and lively with overtones of lime. It was a delightful filling meal. I was ready for a cat nap at the casa. Be sure to check their social media for the Patrón party. Patrón always has great events and parties.
