How is it going with writing for your au’s? ^w^

The next chapter of The Pied Piper of New York is almost done! Mostly just needs spell checking and fixing grammar. Chapters 11-15 have a finished first draft and I've got pieces of chapter 16 and 24 written down (chapter 24 might actually be the most self-indulgent thing I've ever written.)

Always and Forever (working title) has been started, but I'm currently debating if it should stay a oneshot, or be split into chapters and released over March, like once a week a new chapter is uploaded kinda deal. Part of it's to make sure the pacing works, but there's also a very real risk of it becoming a 20k+ word oneshot between now and March.

Having a bit of trouble with the next chapter of GS2. Slowly but surely writing it, mostly just worried about it not being very interesting, so I'm letting it fermet for a little bit. Hoping to update it next month.

Another reason GS2 is going slow may be because Hiding a Curse Gygoi has grabbed hold of my brain and chapter 1 of HAC is about 30% of the way through draft one.

Ageswap is on hold temporarily so I can just brain storm part 6. That'll be set when Yoshi is 14 and going top side for the first time on his own. Him and Shen are going to do so much stupid shit together I cannot wait.

The timeskip and bodyguard au are currently in a viscious knife fight over who gets to be written first. NGL timeskip is in the lead by virtue of I know how that one starts.

Not as big as a jerk as He Could Have Been (Ratchet and Clank au) is mostly just vibes, and those vibes are Dr Nefarious trying to knife Qwark in the back whilst Ratchet and Clank try to actually get stuff done.

So they're going pretty good all in all!

Mars 2 electric boogalo ᕦ( ᐕ )ᕡ

hey @lets-try-some-writing i've made more stuff, since:

1-i can't control myself or the amount of ideas that just come to my mind XD; and

2- I'm having SO MUCH FUN AND JOY making these and seeing other people also enjoy these :)

So Mars despite his near non existent magnetic field and atmosphere also have aurora borealis, smaler but still aurora...and I just couldn't help myself :D

A little eplenation since Mars doesn't have canon design, I just winged it and tired to mash Ares and a planetary titan, hence why the shoulder pads and skirt flaps both have the surface texture just like Earth, but at the same time are stylized after whatever greek armor Ares have

The big circles on his left arm - that's Olympus Mons: It is Mars's tallest volcano, its tallest planetary mountain, and is approximately the tallest mountain currently discovered in the Solar System. So what's a better use for it than to use it alongside classical ✨transformers mass shifting✨, and turn it into hidden/compressed shield - also borrowed from Ares, but i also think it fits his personality to have one

And now i think my absolute favorite detail: The Markings

I couldn't get your drawing of Convoy with these markings out of my head, and the fact that Mars is old and definitely had an amazing relation with his citizens before departure, so I just thought that it would be really cool and cute if the markings were a gift from his previous citizens. Either during their stay, simply as a "thank you" or "we love you", or as a parting gift, so he could always remeber them the "we're always with you, we'll never forget you" :')

And i had to throw the biolights? the energon lines running on the body (or as I like to call them: "TRON lights". I just love the concept of cybertronians to have such thing, and this is why (among many other things) I love TFP Soundwave and Shockwave and the whole IDW/MTMTE designs :D

Overall I had SO MUCH FUN drawing these AAAAHHHHH and again I'm so happy you like it as much as i enjoy making them

In celebration of Grian starting another war (I love buttercup trio so much they mean everything to me I'm so glad they are allies in this war) I want to make a list of all the wars (that I remember) that he has started or be really involve:

Hermitcraft season 6: The original prank war "It all started when Grian touched my redstone"

Hermitcraft season 7: Mycelium war, self explicatory and gave us Mother Spore.

Third life: Desert duo and flower husbands vs the rest of the server (I do not remember how it was called or if it even had a name, but I'm counting it has a war)

Hermitcraft season 8: Not technically a war but Grian leading Pearl and Impulse into a laggy and glitchy marketing strategy with boats in others peoples bases after finding the publicity in their zone (If the answer of the Big Eye crew wouldn't have been that good I'm sure this could have lead to another prank war)

Double life: Not technically a war also but Scar and he managed to get all the server against they

Hermitcraft 9: The rebellion, because he basically gave Impulse the task of generate content in Grumbot and put "Remove" "King" "Claim" there (even if he was referring to the shopping thing) + help the rebellion + help the thing to betray him at the end with the armor for everyone.

Limited life: The yellow peace, try to kill every green name on the server until there were just yellows.

Hermitcraft 9: Prank war part 2 Electric Boogalo, "It all started when Grian and Scar touched my redstone".

History doesn't repeat itself but sure it rhymes.

Headcanon on on what Ayin is doing in the Light right now:

- Trying to talk Carmen back to her senses

- Trying to talk to people in the physical realm especially Hokma

- Watching over the Library in the Outskirts

- Finally catching up on sleep after all that management and maybe even dreaming

- Reuniting and possibly merging back with his other selves

- Trying to put himself back together after being blasted into the light like a jigsaw puzzle

-Confusedly floating in the light, learning how to navigate it like an astronaut in space and learning how to wield it like Carmen and Angela do

- Curled up and crying regretting everything he's done Part 2 Electric Boogalo

- Watching anime to cope and to try and lure Carmen close so he could talk to her

- Playing hide and seek with a Carmen who won't show her face to him no matter how much he calls out to her

- Peeping at what the Limbus Company and Hermann's team is doing collecting all the boughs

- Keeping a weary eye on Dias and the Udjat

- Looking at how the Head and the City is reacting to the White Night and Dark Days, Light and the Golden Boughs

Headcanons approved! I still think he would be slightly miserable over the, y'know.

Points at the whole mess since the release of Light and Carmen losing her senses and Hermann stealing the Boughs and the Light being used for nefarious purposes by the same woman who once had such a pure heart

But overall, he would be coping...I think. Maybe. At the very least, I know that he wouldn't back out or be cowardly again, since that's what he learned throughout the Suppressions in LC; all of the qualities of the Sephirahs were finally imbued to him as he reached the 'understanding' he sought, so perhaps he can eventually get to a better position than the one he is in right now.

I also wonder if, ignoring the theory that Ayin could be Dante, Ayin is Dante's 'star' which he sees when reviving the Sinners. The revival technology is something we only saw in LoR thanks to the Light, so I wonder if Dante's technology maybe uses the Light but only Ayin answers because Carmen is off doing her thing and, y'know, killing millions of people with Distortions.

She must be having fun while Ayin is trying to pick up the slack, hehe.

I headcannon that Tommy is an avian(late bloomer)but like,either a hummingbird or a parrot cause like I dunno just VIBES

I headcannon that the swamp empire and the ocean empire where one until some time after Jimmy and Lizzie left.I also headcannon that Lizzie's and Jimmy's relationship was not very good with Lizzie thinking Jimmy was under her (νόμιζε ότι ήταν κατώτερος της)which was caused bc their parents always treated Jimmy bad so she just copied them(this is stolen from the fic "I looked up at you,why did you look down on me" by i_love_polar_bears on Wattpad)(if you like Jimmy angst you will love their works)

I headcannon that the soulmate dynamic on double life was more intense that it cannonly was.For example pain and saturation weren't the only things shared.If one touched a slime block their soulmate would feel a sticky sensation where the other had touched slime(for example,if one ate a slimeball to the face but took no damage the other would still feel it.Anyways I also headcannon that by double life Scar and Grian were dating(THIS IS ABOUT CHARACTERS NOT IRL PEOPLE)so when Grian cheated on Scar with BigB(secret soulmates)they were intamite and Scar could feel that.I like making my favorites suffer

I also think that from a serious preceptive after Scar went back on hermitcraft with the others after double life there was some serious trauma.like when Peal learned a bout what Grian did she had a breakdown bc she thought Grian would never do anything like that(what do you mean I'm projecting onto Peal.pffftt noo absolutely not)but she was also worried about Scar so she ran,and I mean ran to Gem's house to ask her if she could maybe make a therapy office for the hermits to go to(did I mention that headcannon Gem has a therapy degree?)

Donnie and Leo do eventually stop being furious with Splinter. They've not forgiven him, and they're still angry, but they can be in the same room as him without looking like they want to set him on fire.

Splinter is relieved, but decides he is not going to push his luck, so continues to give them space. If they want to talk to him they can, but he's not going to force them.

When Leo is ready to talk to Splinter, he kinda follows Mikey's lead and asks Splinter if they can talk. Leo also brought him some tea as an icebreaker, and only realised when Splinter just stared at it that Splinter properly can't drink it anymore. The awkardness that creates actually helps. Like it's less the serious conversation Leo thought it'd be, and now it's just them trying to quickly get rid of the weird atmosphere.

(There are some ghost stories of people leaving them offerings and the ghosts taking it, so I don't know if Leo making the tea and giving it to Splinter would count, and if it did if that'd mean he could drink it)

It's... not a bad conversation. Parts of it are difficult to get through, and they get close to arguing more than once, but Leo feels better after the fact. And before Leo goes to rejoin his brothers, he asks Splinter if they can start having stratergy meetings again.

Donnie sort of asks Splinter to talk, sorta doesn't. He wants to know how ghosts works, and figures if they're real, then chances are more likely than not that he and his brothers will have to deal with them at some point. Donnie essentially asks Splinter if he can take some samples to experiment with.

... it's the single weirdest olive branch Splinter has ever heard, but he agrees anyway.

His son asks quetions before, during and after taking the samples. To begin with they're mostly aimed at figuring out how Splinter works now and how his powers function (he can't really answer many properly, because he has no idea) but eventually segue into other topics. Donnie tells Splinter outright that he's not forgiven him and isn't happy with him at all, and Splinter tells him that's okay.

There is one other thing Donnie asks and Splinter instinctually wants to say no: Donnie wants to see his ghost form again. When Splinter relents, he does say that he doesn't know how to change on command - usually he reverts to that form regardless of what he wants. If Donnie wants to see that then his best bet is in the morning, before training. Splinter doesn't know why but he reverts to tha form when he sleeps, and that time of day is dedicated to not looking like a monster.
