#hi! im alive and back and etc. #six the musical #six the musical fanart #katherine howard #thinking of that post going 'i think eventually you become the person you needed most' and like maybe that's the thing with my art #this started out as a redraw and <improvement meme> i think i've finally reached the stage where i'm making the things that my younger self #aspired to create. like i can do this now! i've reached That level of technical skill! tiny me would be so proud. it's very gratifying #redraw from august this year actually. i've made a surprising amount of improvement HAHA maybe it was the adamandi stuff getting me #back into digital rendering. i think that obsession has quietly slipped away but yknow. one never truly leaves a fandom. just less intensit #also speaking of old fandoms! we're back with the six stuff haha. as of writing i'm in the midst of blog revamp- figuring out how to chill #multifandom status doesn't mean ditch all the old stuff ! but i do feel much freer and less stressed. i think hiatus has been good for me #notes on this piece particularly: redraw about cutting hair and thinking of the lyric above. also lowkey &j ref + pinterest poem excerpts #of female suffering. and maybe a dash of amanda heng let's walk inspo. this work is really just full of contradictions.. #1. the mirror and cutting hair as an act of self liberation 2. the & is part of the lyric but also a nod to &j (in another iteration it was #pink but the white looked better) and like. &j is really all !!! girl power!!! etc. and i was like hmmmm. also matching pink shiny aes #3. the frame as a cage; the mirror as a self reflection idea (ie. saville's propped insp) but also as a sign of vanity. 4. sparkly costume #and pretty pose- read one too many poems about women feeling like they have to be pretty even in their suffering. something i wanted to #explore. and also in 5. the show itself... all you wanna do is. despite all the dancing and pink and sparkly the content of the song is #darker. and even though it's a story of her suffering it's still presented as a shiny fun pop song and ajshdhfhfh ok... 6. the lyrics fall #outside the frame. sort of a caught inbetween. sort of a trapped in the narrative and yet #within the frame it's all. vaguely handwavy breaking free vibes. like i said contradictions? #7. cutting off the long ponytail vs the pull my hair lyric at the end. yeah #8. the blocked off & looks a bit like scissors. positioned to cut right at the neck #anyways yeah irl remains hectic! but if i get around to more doodles they'll appear here :)

Alright lads what up it's ya boi back with another crack video game lore theory but this time it's about the ark animated series because the Brainrot has gotten sooo bad dude help me

Anyway here's my theory on Rockwell's backstory based entirely on approximately 2 seconds of teasers and a singular drawing in the background. I'm expecting basically all of this to be incorrect I just think it's fun to speculate. Im tagging it as spoilers anyway just to be safe

1. He had a daughter named Charlotte (based on the drawing of a young girl in his study, which is who he likely name-drops in the part 2 teaser. I'm assuming daughter because it could serve as a bit of a stand-in for Helena's role in the game lore. Or a prerequisite. Bro is not escaping fatherhood no matter what version of the lore we go with and I think that's funny) [side note it's extremely cursed that that happens to be my name as well, Wildcard out of all the feminine English names you could have picked why did it have to be that one I'm goign to implode]

2. She died (bonus points if she dies of some illness that Rockwell himself recovers from, for that extra survivor's guilt)

3. Rockwell tried to lose himself in his work to cope, unfortunately said work happened to be early studies on Element and he started going off the rails about its potential of creation and modification, and no one believed him about its potential so they thought he's just genuinely insane (hence the "what is God compared to the genius of man" type comment. This would also parallel Helena being responsible for the early concept of recreating extinct creatures, much later used in the ARKs. He came up with the how, she came up with the why)

4. He got mercilessly locked up in an asylum and started to further deteriorate due to isolation (given how they've handled other characters I'm assuming this will be presented as a Bad Thing by the show. Like I don't think it'll be framed as "lol he deserved it" I think it'll be "hey this is why maybe we support struggling people instead of locking them away and forgetting about them")

5. He eventually dies and then wakes up on the ARK, cue extra "why did I get another chance and not my daughter" pain

6. While on the ARK he starts obsessing over Element again to prove to himself that he was always right about it and didn't deserve what happened to him

7. The Element starts inevitably corrupting him and from here we follow the old lore path yippee!!

If any of this comes true I will be eating drywall btw. Drinking paint. Gnawing at the bars of my enclosure etc etc

#fave spotting #anneke wills #the saint #the helpful pirate #polly wright #doctor who #classic doctor who #itc #1966 #so while i noted on my last fave spotted post that Pat Troughton's 2nd Saint ep aired quite shortly before his DW debut‚ Anneke was #actually already in the middle of her (all too brief!) stint on the show. in fact this episode of The Saint aired in the uk the day before #Power of the Daleks episode 1. despite that‚ she isn't even the top billed woman in this ep; her character is more in the way of #collateral damage for plot reasons‚ with Erika Remberg getting the coveted guest star status as Saint girl #Remberg was briefly a leading lady in a few b movies and made a couple of tv spots on arrival in the UK (an Edgar Wallace‚ an episode of #Man of the World) but her career petered out eventually; Anneke on the other hand is still to be found doing the do on the Doctor Who #circuits and good for her (I've met her a couple of times‚ she's lovely). it's not the most rewarding part here but she does what she can #with an underwritten part. at the very least she doesn't suffer any indignities at the hands of Simon Spanker..

i feel like the fact that barely anyone who watches the show thinks of will as the main character might be indicative of the fact that he isn't

#and like i say: brf slt #just realized i said the fact twice. this was worded differently at first #i'm very sorry #(not about the the fact thing about the will mc thing) #if you ask anyone who the main character is after seasons 3 and 4 they'll say el #it's not the el show and will is just as if not more important to the supernatural plotline like obviously nothing would've happened if he #hadn't gone missing and he has a connection to vecna no one else has and #everyone's love for him is basically what makes all of s1 happen #but he's literally not there. i've seen people watch the show for the first time recently and guess who was the main character to them #while they were watching the first two seasons? mike! literally elliott in E.T and the YA protagonist in the middle of a love triangle why #does everyone take his main boy status away from him...we first meet the characters at HIS house in HIS basement we see HIS family first #it's HIM we follow all throughout season 1 in the kids part of the show basically like idk #yes he's not el and he's not will in terms of connection to the supernatural but like #in seasons 3 and especially in season 4 you don't really think of him as the main character anymore but literally no one but bylers think #of will as the main character like i'm just saying. i don't think trying to pick a definite main character makes sense anyway because #there's kind of a shift around season 3 where it becomes...the el show. even if it doesn't not really. but it's not like people are crazy #and Media Illiterate for thinking that the biggest character on the posters whose actress is the biggest star and who gets paid the most is #the main character. don't people complain 24/7 about how little screentime will got in seasons 3 and 4 like obviously that would lead to #people...not seeing him as the main character #anyway. to me in seasons 1 and 2 it's between mike and el honestly and if you add seasons 3 and 4 then el #even though will is just as important like i said. it's just very different #but honestly in season 1 it's totally mike to me it's only in season 2 that i would start to hesitate #there's also joyce but i don't think anyone's saying joyce is the main character but yk i don't know if you know this but it's an ensemble #show... #it's definitely the willel show in a sense but... #mike is the protagonistest protagonist in season 1 how do people forget that #having to fight for your life to convince people that will is the main character kind of proves that he isn't😭 #and i still think he's the most important which doesn't make sense i know but idk it makes sense to me

Alaska was in position up on the ledge of a building, she'd brought a few weapons with her, but most importantly a sniper rifle. Currently she was looking down at the two bases below her, keeping an eye on them and her motion trackers. Breaking into both bases for her training would be hard, even more so since she was working alone but they were just sim troopers, how bad could it be? "Agent Alaska, such reckless thoughts can potentially lead to unadvised actions which will decrease the percentage of success and heighten the percentage of injury or worse." Right, she'd forgotten she had borrowed Delta, hopefully York wouldn't be mad at her for forgetting to return him. "Relax Delta, i'll still use caution and try not to be too reckless." Alaska would try and reassure the A.I. He talked a lot, yes, but he also rained on her parade a lot as well, but it was at least helpful, and usually kept her out of the infirmary. "Given your track record on the battle field, I am not convinced you will." She rolled her eyes at the response, focusing back on the base and hopping down from where she was. She could take out the troopers from the building but that wouldn't be infiltration, not to mention either that it would probably get the attention of the others if one died, making her job much harder to do. Cautiously she moved, slipping her way towards the red base, which was styled similar to blue base, a futuristic neon and black scheme like the rest of the city was, to her it felt almost video gamey. Once inside the base she took a look around, she was currently in the lobby, which was sparsely decorated, looking like the lobby of some fancy building or whatnot. Which made sense given it was the Vegas quadrant, but she honestly didn't get it. Well either way the bases would probably be pretty small, but she couldn't know for sure and didn't want to make assumptions either. Checking her motion trackers once again she let out a hiss at two dots approaching, rushing and diving over the reception desk and hiding behind it. She heard two voices as two people approached the room. "I though you said you didn't want to go to the Vegas quadrant?" As she peaked from her cover she saw a Maroon and and an Orange soldier enter into the room. "Yea well, what's better? A box canyon or a cybernetic city that looks something out of a dystopian." The orange one responded again. "You know that you disobeyed orders though, right? Not like I care though, this place is way better than some canyon." "Says the one who never listens to them in the first place." The Maroon one shot back, the exchange taking place told Alaska that they were not supposed to be here, still wouldn't stop her from treating them as hostiles however. At the very least she'd use non lethal force against them. Alaska moved quickly, throwing a smoke grenade over the desk in order to catch the two off guard and once the smoke cleared she jumped over and moved quickly, grabbing the Maroon one and knocking him out with a fast hit in the head with her hammer, inadvertently sending him into a wall before turning her attention to the orange one who was backing away, gun drawn, he seemed to be a coward. She rushed him next, kneeing him in the head before delivering a kick to the chest and several pistol rounds to the chest, knocking him out as well. "One problem solved, hopefully no one heard that." Delta was probably going to give her shit again but she didn't care, moving towards the hallway that they had came from which had a few doors, and a right bend as well.
