One thing I feel is often overlooked in the later seasons is how much more knowledgeable Sam got after getting the Bunker. And how much this let his natural brilliance shine.

They go from relying on others, like Bobby, to only needing Sam. If he doesn’t know the answers, it means the answers aren’t available to most. It’s either locked away in the Book of the Damned, or in Death’s books, etc.

Sam’s character development and growth is so impressive on many levels.
