I’m listening Finland’s owls’ sounds and I instantly fell in love with two of them. Lehtopöllö (Strix aluco) and Viirupöllö (Strix uralensis).

Lehtopöllö’s voice makes me think Native American Indians instantly. To me it feels like it’s their messenger in a way. I can’t quite put my feelings into words.

Viirupöllö in the otherhand has such deep, ancient voice with an echo. To me it sounds like Universe, all the mysteries of the past and unknow, realms beyond our own. Ancient deep wisdom what only it knows. The color of the voice is literally like a night sky with some stars. Not too clear. Mostly dark with few stars there and there. Very beautiful and soul touching in a deep level.

God, I love owls.

Sooooo Duolingo on loppu 😔

I just finished section two of the Finnish Duolingo course, and three is only repetition unfortunately 😞 I'm not doing the dessert level again, nothing against munkki and viineri, but I want to learn something new 😅

So I jumped to the end of section three and will finish the rest of it just to peek at four, but I guess that's it so far.

Hyvästejä vihreä pöllö, auf Nimmerwiedersehen 🫡 you taught me a lot of nonsense sentences (tämä veitsi halua käydä sveitsissä) and you never bothered to explain any grammar, but it was fun 😂

I will continue with my lecture book for now and also try to find a real course!
