yeah. i'll go check. *checks the outside world*
[The first thing the anon can see are a couple of things. The skies are dark and gloomy. Most of the buildings, structures, and everything else so far are demolished in a state below repair. A handful of people are in distress. Another handful have lost all hope. And there's also a handful that are in constant danger. There's even a few notable people that also happen to be grieving hard from the whole situation. Like Carol, as a huge example. A good chunk of the world is in a constant state of disarray. Shadowy Venomous cackles maniacally while TKO floats with him, emotionless. His hands is carefully resting on the dial of the gauntlet, at the ready to choose a damage dealing form. So TDLR; everything is Cob-awful bad and glaringly bleak. Everything the anon sees isn't very pretty at all.]

not to be controversial on main, but i really do feel like way more people would enjoy maths if someone properly explained it to them & they didn't have a hanging threat of failing an exam above their heads

I saw u mentioning villain Jade and Floyd, did u come up with smth new for them? 👀
👀 in the context of the story, they help Azul behind the scenes. To magical girl!reader, they just seem like Deep-Sea Merchant fanboys because of their willingness to join the fight just for the fun of it. You can't stand them. Azul wishes they (mostly Floyd, though) would stop messing up his chances for cool dialogue just for the chance to fight you. >_<
As for villains, I think they'd be the type of surprise villain, in which you think there's only one but then it turns out there's two. They use the fact that they're twins and can do solid impressions of the other to their advantage so that, after they've had their fun playing around with you, they can finally catch you off guard and capture you for themselves hehe.

Halsin's character in Act 3 post breaking of the Shadowcurse is actually, either intentionally or not, another more quiet and subtle angle of trauma exploration; specifically, the alteration of identity development and its previously existing commitments post traumatic events.

anyone else think it's insane that folie a deux -- which literally means "the shared delusions of two"-- opens with "I'm coming apart at the seams/Pitching myself for leads in other people's dreams"

Do you think jimbotnik works so much without stopping to eat or sleep or anything is because on one hand, he needs to be useful, to feel useful, or he’ll be discarded and not worthy of being the genius he is. While on the other hand, if he stops for even a moment, if he’s not occupying his mind somehow, his thoughts wander too much and he dwells on things and ruminates and feels sad. Alone. Like if he stops moving the weight of everything is going to crush him.
And he hates it. Feeling useless, feeling sad, all these very human things. Things that make sense for someone as deeply hurt as him to feel. It’s hard to keep his mind off such thoughts when he’s not working, and Stone can see it so plainly, when he stops, his whole demeanour can shift and sometimes he’ll find him staring off at nothing, looking so somber and bereft. It makes his heart ache. He wants to help, to take all that sadness, loneliness, and self loathing away from the doctor…

Merlin but Merlin loses it when Arthur dies and instinctively starts a time loop and every time Arthur dies it automatically resets...for angst purposes it could stay tragic..no matter what he does to change the past kilgharra was right. no one can change their destiny nor can they escape it. or by starting this time loop at all he's doing is preventing the rise of the once and future king so by staving off Arthur's death he's actually preventing anyone from ever really living again. a never ending story with one character aware of the narrative but powerless to change it. a puppet with a brain but no autonomy to put it to use. A tragedy of his own making instead the one prophesized

"...we could just run away somewhere, the two of us.” (Patreon)
Too many for a single photoset, but since these are a bit on the scribbly side I didn’t want to split them up either ♪ Enjoy the added commentary!
Couple’a cut panels, Max is reacting to Dexter putting his plans in motion here
Very inspired from the ever-so-slightly earlier scene in Helix of Max covering his ears to block out Dexter’s call ♥ Even when things are going his way it’s too overwhelming!
*Summer home. I forgot what he referred to it as lol
Can’t be a meeting if you just ditch entirely!
Surprised by this turn of events, just keeps getting better and better
Of course he had to say something and make Dex mad again haha ♪
Unfortunately his dialogue here was a little too silly for being high and sad and stressed so I had to move it, but he still turned out cute so here it is instead!
Guilty guilty guiltyyyy
Knocked out from the long car trip ♥ He definitely needs it
I love this shot, Dexter leaning in to check on him 💕
He’s so flippin’ cute I fjdsklafd
Very awake all of a sudden, spooked out of sleep. You’re the first ones here, it’s all fine
Head tilts forever ♥
He is still coming down after all
Pathetic, as always
Walked to be within sight of the house so he doesn’t go wandering off
Staff at the summer home?? Sure, why not lol, maybe they’re preparing for the Vyers to come by

Well the poll got me thinking about White Palace in general
Do you think it was real at all?
Obviously some sort of structure was sitting in the Basin but was it really a palace? Was White Lady ever there? Was that where Pale King ever resided?
The station was hidden, the tram was new so it was obviously not a place for bugs to visit and if they did it was probably just the knights and royal retainers who stayed there
Maybe the structure was meant to look like a palace but in reality it was just where PK hid for his research? I can't not think about how close to the Abyss it is. The lighthouse. The presence of his creations, Kingsmolds and Wingsmolds, both within dream and outside of it
What if the palace was never really a palace?

honest to god the "fiction doesn't affect reality!!!" nonsense becomes even more ridiculous when you take into consideration the sheer stigma against "gross" or "dangerous" or "scary" animals (particularly bugs and spiders and snakes etc.) largely due to their common portrayals as gross/dangerous/scary etc. in most media
