it is important to have some time for yourself and find some activities outside of work. that's why Giewont took to reading after doing a job of a book-binding assistant for a while (her sharp fingers really did cut paper well). with their hearing only getting worse after the accident, she found more and more comfort in unchanging words printed in straight, neat words upon the pages. they just need to be careful not to cut the spine in two!

why is polish wikipedia genuinely so much better than the english one

#at this point i'll just start translating articles #yeah english wikipedia has more information but in that it had less information. you kniw what im saying #i googles olympic muses. in polish they gave me a list of their roles and attributes with each having a sentence about them #and english is like. 'Polyhymnia (mime). So ! As I said before in that one post Rosetta is based on argentinian culture , she's genderfluid so she's constantly shifting between her dancer and gaucho mode , uses she/her and he/him exclusively respectively . She sings and plays acoustic guitar :]

She was built back in the xix century using silver (but was later repaired with scrap metal several times) and is powered by red matter ! Her creator fist intended her to be a replacement for his recently lost lover , but was helped by his community to finish her as some sort of communal companion , using her dancing skills carried over from her real life inspiration to cheer people up and later developing her "gaucho" persona to help in manual jobs . (I don't think any of you know what a gaucho is - it's like the here equivalent of cowboys just much more common at the time , most men had the gaucho rol)

Her original community has since been dissolved due to the passage of time , so now she travels by horse and lives a nomad like life occasionally making money by performing in bars the same songs she was taught at the beginning by her 'family'

Her main genre is tango ! And Buzzer is also here uhh they probably met around the beginning but they're friends 👍 brothers from different creators even

The profile picture for this tournament is taken from the music video and I love the song I harass my irl friends to listen to it whenever I can - from The poll runner itself

The beginning of the song is perfect. It drags you in flawlessly. It's a little bit quiet at first so as to not overwhelm you, only to surprise you with some of the most beautiful harmonies ever heard. Who can click off of those mega-beautiful harmonies?

Which the harmonies of this song are so perfect. Which is great for a band that takes pride in their harmonies.

David singing both the highest notes and the lowest notes is phenomenal.

Bryan's voice has been so good for their recent songs. It really pulls everything together to sound so smooth. His deep and buttery voice keeps the vocals from sounding too harsh despite how eventful this song is.

The chiptune towards the end is a super nice surprise. You'd never expect it from a band that focuses on harmonies yet it works so well with the song.

The dinosaur sings at the beginning of the music video.

In a press conference held by the Palestinian Civil Defence in Gaza earlier today, they confirmed that they estimate 10,000 missing people remain missing under the rubble and that, with their very limited means right now, in order to be able to locate and exhume these bodies, the operation could take up to three years. Until then, these 10,000 are not counted among the casualties.

As summer approaches, the trapped bodies are going to be a major source of illnesses and epidemics are expected to spread. Already, there are 20,000 cases of hepatitis in Gaza.

All of this of course is made infinitely more difficult by Israel blocking fuel from entering while it continues to target civil defence vehicles. As a matter of fact, Rafah now has only 3 functioning fire trucks according to a Palestinian Civil Defence spokesperson.

its interesting to me how self-deprecation neatly ties into making others feel bad. like. if you constantly assume that you’re stupid no matter how informed or skilled in a topic you might be, people who are a bit less learned or skilled than you might see how you, someone who is obviously skilled, talk down about yourself, and assume that if you think YOURE an idiot you must think theyre an even bigger idiot and lose confidence or find you intimidating as a result. its fucked up. and its part of why it can be so important to break out of cycles of self-hatred–not just for yourself, but for people around you
