Casmund thoughts:

Was listening to a Casmund playlist on spotify and the first song on one of them was 'Did I mention' from Disney Descendants and oh my god! So cute 😍. Imagine a drunk Caspian or Edmund singing this to the other in front of them and the whole Narnia and Telmarine court. It probably be more fun to watch Edmund doing this for Caspian while his siblings watch on with many different reactions. Lucy cheering on, Peter confused, and Susan long suffering second hand embarrassment for Edmund. Caspian would be so flustered but also enchanted. Especially the part 'I'd give up my kingdom just for one kiss" while Edmund kneels down to Caspian from a stage.

Casmund au thoughts where after a long life Caspian comes to Edmunds world to be with him back to the same age he was in Voyage of the Dawn Treader:

The hilarity and drama of the other Pevensie siblings trying to explain to their parents who that young pirate looking fellow is that hangs around Edmund all the time. And I say others, because Edmund does not give a shit to explain. He thought he would never see Caspian again. He's on cloud nine. Caspian and Edmund can both easily kill anyone who attacks them and escape jail. So yeah they don't give a shit about homophobia. They are going to live their best lives. Edmund looking on in love as cute confused Caspian tries to figure out the 1940s British world and has the Pevensies to teach him. Casmund basically being married, just not legally.

Narnia thoughts:

ice prince Edmund. Edmund cursed with ice powers. Edmund slowly being cursed with a frozen heart. Queen Jadis being resurrected in Prince Caspian and taking Edmund hostage. Turning him into her mind control ice prince. Edmund dying in the lion, the witch and the wardrobe and being reincarnated in Caspians time, maybe he and Caspian are friends or in love, and he goes with Caspian when everything starts. His siblings seeing the reincarnated Edmund with no memory of them who grew up happier with Caspian and being a single child(angst). Edmund staying with Caspian in Prince Caspian or the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Caspian managing to come to the real world to be with Edmund. Whether with memories or reincarnated. Just more Casmund and more ice prince Edmund. And more white witch angst.

Casmund au:

Where at the end of (an even more gayer) dawn treader, Caspian promises to find some way to see Edmund again, than gives him a charmed pendant necklace he made for him. Edmund goes back home. Knowing he'll probably never see Caspian or Narnia again. He spends a few days depressed but trying to move on. Than one day a young man is at the door. Its Caspian. Somehow after his long life in Narnia he wakes up the same age he was in Dawn Treader in our world. Goes to find Edmund using the charmed pendant. He finds him,, and they are both beyond happy. Mostly love the idea of this dialog.

Caspian offers his hand to Edmund: may I have this dance?

Edmund smiles: I couldn't say no to a King of Narnia.

This ship as a concept is so much more intriguing and beautiful. Like their love being allegory for how people in the real world treats lgbtq. Their love seemingly being doomed, fate written in the stars. If you want to go the angst route. But it's worth it because they are not the problem it's everyone around them. They take every moment and cherish it. Stealing from fate even if they're doomed. Or go the postive happy ending route were Aslan allows them to stay together. Edmund can stay in Narnia. They can rewrite the stars and belong to each other. It's just all so beautiful the potential these two have. And their definitely should be more fanfiction forthen. .
